2801  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User @Pbacala scammer on: September 19, 2021, 08:51:56 PM
My negative feedback was sent to scammer's profile, as was my support of the flag, and I believe that other DT members should also do the same.
In the event that the money is refunded, I will gladly reconsider my decision.

2804  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 🐉 coindragon.com 🐉 Signature campaign - Weekly payments - Sr./Hero/Legen on: September 19, 2021, 05:05:25 PM
Actually, I didn't notice that until today. I got those funds on my coindragon account, not my BTC wallet. So, surely, there is no ulterior motive here.
We have had a conversation via DM in the forum, hope the issue will be solved soon.

I apologize for jumping the gun, but since I haven't seen your farewell in this thread and the fact that you received two payments after changing the campaign, you will understand how it looked from our side.
I am glad to see everything clarified now, good luck with your new campaign.

I'm sorry, but I don't see it that way. If members are genuinely interested in participating, they should carefully read the campaign rules, check the campaign spreadsheet, and follow up on the latest announcements made by the campaign manager. Almost all campaigns have weekly updates, so I do not see any real problem here. Besides, many forget that there is also a search function on this forum. I wonder why people don't use it more.
2806  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: my first post on: September 19, 2021, 01:43:01 PM
Besides following the forum rules, which others have already mentioned, I think it is equally important to follow good online etiquette practice in order to maintain a good online reputation. As our community has grown, a lot of people forget that being active in this kind of community comes with the responsibility to be a good member. I think the best things we can do to protect our online reputation is to not only follow the forum rules and guidelines, but to also be kind, courteous, honest, and respectful to other members.
2807  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to excel in Bitcoin and Relevant Forum like (bitcointalk.org) on: September 19, 2021, 01:05:45 PM
I agree. Bitcointalk is a great place for anyone with a genuine interest in cryptocurrencies and who are open to learn something new. It's easy to find people who have the same interests through bitcointalk. It's something that has really helped me and I don't regret having come across it.

You do not have to follow anyone's footsteps to succeed here. Just relax and be yourself.
2808  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: September 19, 2021, 09:49:31 AM
why does topic say member-hero accepted when there are no opening for member ?

Because it's not common to change the topic title every time there is a new open spot or when the spot is filled in a campaign, except for generic statuses [OPEN / CFNP / CLOSED].
2809  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 🐉 coindragon.com 🐉 Signature campaign - Weekly payments - Sr./Hero/Legen on: September 19, 2021, 09:32:12 AM
@PenDragonCoin don't you consider to hire reputable campaign manager? seems you can't handle it.

Look at this participant Minor Miner

He already changed his avatar and signature with started post 2146 on Round 119 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y8ckOFwJil3PT9FnsH17aQ8mYL4HWYzz5KIXoKpyEFY/edit#gid=1223643682
~

So, Minor Miner joined the new campaign, changed his signature, and continued to receive payments from Coindragon? And he didn't inform the campaign manager about it?
This is very dishonest on his part. I would love to hear his explanation as this can be considered scamming and possibly deserves a negative tag on his account.

See how their profile is painted with red tags, by community members. Even after seeing so many tags, I wonder how the gamblers deposit their money on this website. 1Xbit doesn't seem to be worried about their profile tags, as they haven't made any changes to their activity yet. Because they are constantly getting new victims which is generating their revenue.

I think the red tags does nothing to the company because they are paying huge to the signature campaign participants. They are smoothly running business and making profits. People are seriously patronising them. So, they are not affected in anyway. Assuming they are affected, they would have stopped the campaign.
The red tag will only affect the reputation of the users that promote their business.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Who patronizes them? Only those who are paid to do so.
The fact is, we cannot know if their business is running smoothly and if they are making profits. In their "honest review" campaign, they have already stopped paying for multiple reviews, and in their prediction games, they do not give cash prizes anymore. The money is probably slowly draining away.

2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: September 18, 2021, 10:45:53 PM
Statue looks awesomely clean and nice but it doesn't seem to resemble any of the Satoshi images that flooded the Internet and in which we seem to be familiar with out there.

Since Satoshi's true identity has never been verified nor revealed, none of these images mean anything. According to media reports, the sculptors purposely textured the statue's undefined face with a mirror-like finish in order to convey the idea that "we are all Satoshi". I like that idea for a number of reasons. Art is very much about nuance and symbolism. And Satoshi, as symbolized by the statue, represents the global community of Bitcoin users.
2813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: September 18, 2021, 06:24:33 PM
It appears that Hungary already has a statue of an anonymous character wearing a cloaked hoodie. There is a full-size bronze statue that depicts "Anonymous" at the
That is interesting and it appears it was dedicated to anonymous notary of Hungrian King Bela III - Anonymus Bele regis notarius, you can see that written in stone.
I know other countries around that world that have statues for unknown soldiers and heroes also, so we can see the symbolism with Satoshi as our own hero Wink

Yes, you are right. After doing more research I had to give my post a little more context. Budapest has some really interesting things to offer.

As for our "hero," Satoshi, I expect more to come like this around the world. Bitcoin has made financial independence possible for many; I'm sure at least some will wish to pay tribute to the creator in some way.

Again.. Do you realize that you are talking to a scammer?
What scam happen by the mentioned user? Is the user scam any fund? You can see the reason of getting a negative tag. Always negative tag doesn't mean scam occurred. It may happen for various reason. Also, a scammer might be got scammed by someone else. In this case will you avoid that scam accusation as the person was also a scammer?

Don't bother. I've been ignoring that Erdogan scammer for a long time. You can't expect common sense from someone who is willing to sell his soul for $21.

nutildah    2019-08-02    Reference    Admits to running a bumping service. Got scammed after promoting a scam project. Don't you know that only scammers hire you in the first place?
ibminer    2017-05-02    Reference    Multiple scam accusations against this user, likely hacked or sold account.
free-bit.co.in    2017-05-02    Reference    Scammed user DeathEscaped for $21 BTC.

See reference thread.
yahoo62278    2017-05-02    Reference    open scam accusation against this user
ibminer    2017-05-02    Reference    Likely scammer. See reference thread.

As far as I am concerned, 1xbit can hire an army of promoters scammers here; they'll all end up ignored. Cheesy

The sculpture of Anonymous can be found in Vajdahunyad Castle. It portrays the anonymous author of Gesta Hungarorum (Deeds of the Hungarians), a Polish historian who was later named Gallus Anonymus. It was created by Miklós Ligeti in 1903 and it was donated to the Hungarian nation by Franz Joseph I.

2816  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I share a crypto project? on: September 17, 2021, 10:28:02 PM
Hello I was wondering if I can share information on a crypto project I started and if so what is the correct board?
I tried to share yesterday under alt coin discussion and it got deleted, so I'm not sure if it's because I created my account the same day or what the deal is?

These boards might be of interest to you:
Announcements (Altcoins) - Altcoin announcements, generic (usually announcement like) coin discussion threads.
Tokens (Altcoins) (child board of Announcements (Altcoins)) - Altcoin token (an altcoin entity / thing that relies on another altcoin's infrastructure to function) announcements, generic (usually announcement like) token discussion threads.
Service Announcements (Altcoins) (child board of Marketplace (Altcoins)) - Announcement of external services that are directly related to or accept altcoins.
(source)

You should choose the appropriate board for your project and create a proper ANN post with a description and details about your project, not just a link to an external website. Unless you have a Copper membership, you cannot post pictures as a newbie. Alternatively, you can ask a senior member to post on your behalf.

2818  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Binance odobravanje transakcija on: September 16, 2021, 10:46:13 PM

2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as primary currency on: September 16, 2021, 10:23:30 PM
~

Right, because at the end of the day we still need to exchange our BTC to fiat before buying something that's why we cannot make it as primary currency since this is not supported yet by most of the country only El Salvador is the one who do this but they still make USD as their main currency and bitcoin is option only. But we shouldn't lose hope as this adoption is started by on country maybe in future another announcement came that they will also make it as their legal tender but let see which country will adopt next.

This statement is not true. There are already a number of web stores around the world accepting payments in cryptocurrency and that goes for physical stores as well. You can buy anything online in Bitcoin. There are even stores that offer discounts in Bitcoin. Therefore, to say that only El Salvador accepts bitcoin is incorrect.
