Crypto is scam in general because it creates a system that issues the certificates to lure people to invest, and then people are able to return the investments only if new investors buy the certificates. Hence, a modern day investment scam.

Nah, crypto is about decentralization and individual empowerment. Nothing can be used to mislead people, and none of these fraudulent practices can work here.
In fact, I can only say that crypto is the most promising form of money creation system we have in this era and crypto and blockchain are here to stay.

Eventually, the pool of suckers will dry up and the systems will collapse.

Yes. Bravo! You are a real genius!

Whenever a financial system collapse occurs, it is caused by a lack of faith in the stability or value of money to serve as an effective store of value or medium of exchange. This is not something you just discovered, but a well-known fact. A few recent examples: Venezuelan Bolivar in 2015, Zimbabwean Dollar in 2008, Yugoslav Dinar in the 1990s, Argentinian Peso in the 1970s... But you did not explain why you think that is going to happen with Bitcoin? Why do you believe people will lose confidence and stop using Bitcoin as a currency? Why hasn't that happened yet?
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 24, 2022, 08:52:24 PM
Therefore, if Laszlo Hanyecz had been a rational actor, he would have bought his pizza for fiat currency, not precious Bitcoin. Either he didn't believe Bitcoin had the potential to transform into something more valuable than government-printed paper, or he had some other motives to spend Bitcoin. We never know that. Either way, his example clearly showed the world that "magic internet currency" is really what it claims to be: a decentralized digital means to facilitate exchanges between two parties.

That is the thing, Bitcoin was not all that precious at the time. In fact, I think Laszlo got a pretty good deal on his bitcoins. According to him, he mined thousands of bitcoins a day and I do not believe he spent more on electricity than buying these two pizzas. Check out this thread, SmokeTooMuch tried to sell 10,000 bitcoins at auction for an initial $ 50 bid just a few months before and no one bid on it. Probably because anyone with an decent PC could mine that much bitcoin on their own in a matter of days.

The thing Laszlo did actually sparked the market for bitcoin, as just a few months later the price of bitcoin had soared to $ 0.25 (which was absolutely unthinkable at the time). And a few months after that, in February of the following year, bitcoin reached its first milestone when the value of one bitcoin equaled that of the US dollar.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 23, 2022, 01:07:07 PM
Let's say I created a system. Then I say to people: "invest your value in my system". And people do that.

Let us stop here for a moment. In your fictional scenario, why do you think people would "invest their value in your system"? I think that is an important part.

However, once people invested their value in my system I said to them: you are unable to return even a dime worth of value from my system, and if you want to return your investment, you have to wait for new investors to bring value into my system. Would you call me a scammer, and would you say that my system is worthless?

Yes. By luring investors with false promises about your "system," and later changing your terms, you would be considered to have deceived your investors, thus labeling you as a scammer.
However, I am not sure how this relates to Bitcoin in any way. Bitcoin, and the blockchain technology behind it, delivers exactly the "system" that people have been longing for. Ever since the introduction of Ecash by David Chaum in 1983. This particular "system" is the realization of a decentralized trustless system. This trustless system may not be perfect, but it does provide the ability to move funds without relying on any third party. It works regardless of the current value of individual units within the system.

So, if you have an idea for a better system, you are more than welcome to share it. Many have tried, and many have failed, but that does not mean that a new system will not replace Bitcoin at some point in the future. For now, though, Bitcoin remains the king.
1886  Economy / Gambling / Re: SEARCHING FOR OPINIONS ON A CRASH GAMBLING SITE IDEA on: May 22, 2022, 09:48:34 PM
Great! I needed advice like this. I was tunnel visioning on the endgame thinking I needed a huge bankroll to start out with but you just gave me the reality check I needed. and you're entirely right - I would have to make the site reputable first before anyone trusts investing into it. I appreciate the response greatly

I can only imagine how much work this will be, but you seem to have the right mentality. If you are planning to go into this solo, I suggest you start exploring options that make the least amount of capital requirement on the line. Keep it simple, focus on starting your own game and make it a fun hobby with the potential to turn a profit. That is where you get your initial seed money and with time, as the site takes off, more people join, more money comes in, more customers and more revenue is generated. With time, you will learn the ropes and develop a very niche business that has a positive future for you and your customers. There is no risk of big losses here as long as you start out simple and build a strong foundation. Just have fun and try to do the best you can. Good luck in your endeavors!
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 22, 2022, 09:26:17 PM
Do you know your Bitcoin asset can worth more than you could ever image in time? Hodl and buy more since price is down and await the future to decide.
 I'm a Bitcoin optimist!

And where would you buy your bitcoins if everyone was hodling and no one was selling?

Many people forget the primary function of Bitcoin. In fact, Laszlo, and others like him, played a crucial role in the early history of Bitcoin. Without them, we wouldn't be here today.

I would greatly appreciate any responses to the 4 questions I asked. Many thanks!

Even though your questions seem a bit general and superficial, I will provide an answer to you regardless, although it probably won't mean much.

1) No, I would not invest in a site where there is no reputation for trust.
2) That depends. You will have to make sure that there is some kind of incentive for the players. But even then, I would not risk big funds on a new site that does not have any reputation yet.
3) First and foremost bitcoin. As for altcoins, those that are currently the most popular and have a low transaction fees.
4) I have no idea. In order for a new casino to succeed, it must find its niche and the best way o attract players. Given the high level of competition in the industry, this is a very challenging task. If I had to decide, I would probably go for something unique and innovative, such as the most entertaining games I can come up with, or, something that has the lowest house edge possible.
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 22, 2022, 06:14:54 PM
That's why people must run out of it. They run out of it by scamming new investors into it. And they do that by spreading disinformation that value/money asset exists in the bitcoin system.

However, that is only your opinion; and there is no evidence to support your claims. Repeating the same statements over and over does not make them true.
There is no need for me to "sell a story" or to scam anyone to get in or out of the system. The Bitcoin system is there, and it has been there for more than 13 years. It is available to everyone, and it works. People are not forced to participate in the system. That is the beauty of decentralized currency, you can do whatever you want and no one can stop you. Those are the facts. Your claims are mere fantasies, and reality denies them. You can either accept reality or stay in your fantasyland. The choice is yours.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 22, 2022, 12:24:56 PM
Medium of exchange is something that benefits people otherwise it wouldn't become such a medium.

Yes, exactly. If Bitcoin did not benefit people, it would not be where it is today. Get it?

1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The average joe would never accept bitcoin as means of payment due to tx fees on: May 22, 2022, 10:51:29 AM
The key problem is TX fees, as long there is a fee to pay, it will not be attractive to the avg user. Why not use cash or card where there is no fees?

As others have already pointed out, there is no card without a transaction fee, no matter who pays for it. And as for cash, can you recommend the best way to accept cash at an online store or for online services?
And, by the way, I consider myself an average user and bitcoin is very attractive to me.
1892  Economy / Reputation / Re: {Reference} Detailed reasons why you recieve a red feedback from me [campaigns]. on: May 22, 2022, 10:23:07 AM
I want to know that how a Newbie like [Thenoss] know how to catch scammer! He/She also know where post will be created. Isn’t it strange? It’s common sense that Thenoss had alt account. That's why He/She know how to catch scammer and where this should be posted.

Even if what you say is true, having multiple accounts is not against the forum rules. Cheating in bounty campaigns with alt accounts, on the other hand, is not against forum rules either but is against campaign rules and is considered cheating of other bounty participants. Some bounties have different rules, but almost all prohibit having more than one account participating in the same campaign at the same time.
Therefore, if you are found participating in a bounty campaign with your alt account, you will get a negative tag not because you have an alt account, but because you cheated or attempted to cheat.

Did you know that to much is nothing but no good? There is no secret. If you want to perform well at something then put your best in it and if it is not yielding then you may have to move on to the next thing. Study and apply what you know and act accordingly.

Strive for the goal. Stay focused and do not get distracted by things which are irrelevant.

So, how can "something" in the bitcoin system be called an asset or value, if not a single human being who enters that system is able to benefit inside that system.

In the same way as someone can benefit from mutual funds, index funds or exchange-traded funds.

Basically, anything that has some economic value and can be traded is considered an asset. Even Pokemon cards can be considered an asset... Do you see any personal benefit in Pokemon cards? But unlike Pokemon cards, Bitcoin actually has a real-life function (transfer of value without a middle man or a banking system) so there's a lot more going on than just looking pretty.
1895  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Terra Luna Relaunch - FAKE LUNA TOKEN! on: May 22, 2022, 06:58:01 AM
Scammers will consider anything, just so that they can take advantage of the situation. LUNA hype will undoubtedly bring about lots of interest, so it is important that everyone is aware of what is really happening. This scam token has nothing to do with Terra Luna and is in fact nothing but a scam from start to finish. Do not fall for the deceitful actions of these scammers.

I have tagged and flagged the LunaTerra account, DT please support.

There are many 1xbit sock puppets, most of them are alt accounts connected to each other and set up for the purposes of shilling for 1xbit scam casino. These accounts should be ignored.
1899  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going on??? on: May 21, 2022, 01:01:01 PM
For the crypto markets, this is actually nothing new. You should expect volatility if you are investing in cryptocurrencies. If you are following a strategy, then it is certainly safer to start today and invest slowly, instead of making sudden and excessive purchases at a high price.

Cryptocurrencies have only begun to grow in importance for institutional investors in a few years. It is still early to say, how much those institutions will be active buyers in the future, and what that will mean for the market. As the market grows, though, expect more sophisticated financial market participants to enter, and that will be another factor that plays into the volatility.

LoyceV asked me to edit my posts and add the sources. I have edited a few posts, but I could not edit all of them because I forgot if they were copied or not. psycodad and LoyceV warned me on October 19-2021. After that, I never plagiarized. Before October 19-2021, I made a maximum of 70(+-) posts. The post they reported was before this date. So, My question for the community is, How still I am a liar while I never plagiarized after October-19-2021?

I do not want to be a jerk, but it appears that you are not entirely honest about this.

This is your post from November 17, 2021:

Latin America showed promise in terms of regions as more governments legalized or took steps to regulate online gambling. As ever, Asia was one of the leading regions, along with Europe that remained steady in terms of growth.

2021 was also the year that the FATF greylisted Malta. This meant we got several requests to move jurisdictions, acquire other licenses, or set up in places like Kahnawake and Curacao.

2022 is set to be an even better year for the online gambling sector. According to the "Gambling: Global Market Opportunities & Strategies to 2022" report, projections for online and offline combined surpass an impressive $565 billion by the year-end. This demonstrates a growth rate of almost 6% on an annual basis.

When we look at just online gambling, the picture is even rosier. Figures from Juniper Research suggest that the total value of online wagers could reach $1 trillion. The figures vary depending on where you look, but all of them show a CAGR of over 10% in overall growth. Based on a CAGR of 12%, we can expect the value of online gambling to surpass $112 billion by 2025.

As for drivers of growth, we should be on the lookout for several different factors.
