I think I'm only confident in Kane getting a goal.  And maybe Adams.  Cheesy  Saka could get one but doubful vs Crystal Palace away.
It was bad luck for me again last time in Majestic7 and I had only one correct goal scorer selected, it was Heung-min Son from Tottenham.
Maybe buwaytress, tokeweed or others had better results than me, and I will only hope that next round Matchday32 will be better for me Smiley

I didn't even bother to check.  Lol.  And just from the looks of it, I don't think I made one correct goal scorer for this week's Majectic 7.  And this game is funny...  You do your 'research', you make the picks and you're so excited that you'd get at least 5 goal scorers hitting.  And maybe you even get the feeling that you might hit the big one.  Grin  But once the matches are over...  Adrenaline dump.  -_-

It's like a lottery ticket.  And I'm sure doing something like the Majestic 7 for the UFC and F1 would be as much fun.
2822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 05, 2022, 03:10:39 PM
So...  Where's the Do Kwon guy right now?  Is he afk?  There are talks swirling around that he got spooked when a guy in Binance started making huge asks in spot so he must have pulled out his bids.  Cheesy  Dunno, I'm not really sure how true tho.  It could prolly just be CZ telling Do Kwon 'FU lemme accumulate lower before sending it to 50k.'.  Lol.

That's stupid, would you listen if you were Kwon? Hey man, I want to buy some coin cheaper so stop buying for a bit and if the price rises due to my buys or someone else comes in with a big buy, tough luck for you, you will have to spend more to buy these bitcoins - you can afford it!. This is business, there's no love between people who both want the same thing. Either one of them loses some money or the other.

It's weekend, I don't expect big players to come on Saturday or Sunday to buy. Also, there was a decent drop on Wall Street indexes on Friday that scared some investors.

I'd rather expect Kwon to back away for a bit because there's so little coins on exchanges that his buys are pushing the price up too fast. If he keeps buying too fast he's going to end up buying too expensive.

What do you mean stupid?  Lmao.  Would anybody really keep buying BTC up knowing that the owner of the exchange and his MM's are spoofing sell walls to spook the whole market out?  Just look at the market rn.  A few bad news here and there and a little spoofing, where is the Do Kwon guy?  Don't make the mistake in thinking that he'll keep buying BTC if sh*t hits the fan.  I mean who would want to hold a losing position as a 'reserve'?  That's just dumb.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 05, 2022, 03:01:51 PM
For anyone that missed One Championship match Rodtang vs Demetrious Johnson, you can now watch full fight for FREE on their youtube channel.
It was interesting rules with one Round having rules that suits each of the fighters, and I have to say that Demetrious Johnson looked unexpectedly good in first Muay Thai round.
I am sure we are going to see second fight between this two fighters soon, and I don't dislike idea of mixed rules like this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dG_lg2g-sQ

Yup he's decent at stand up.  But you could see his insticts as a wrestler automatically gets him to go for the body lock or the under hooks the moment Rodtang gets too close to him.  It's so obvious. And he was just trying to hang in there at R1.  R2 was a whole different ball game.  It was Demtrious Johnson's world.

But all in all if the rounds were longer, I think Rodtang would be a problem for DJ.  I think they only three minute rounds if I remember it right.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 05, 2022, 02:52:24 PM
^ Chimaev is the special one. Its not just a hype, he's what he is. He lift Jing up and then talk to Dana while in the cage asking what he'd do scares the MMA fighters watching the fight. I say Burns seem challenged while the everyone hides from Chimaev. I don't bet big but this is going to be one of the fight that I might bet at least $200 to win $20.

Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan on UFC 273 will be fun. Aljo may not escape this time around.

Yeah I guess so...  We'll see.  All I can say is he could be but there are a lot of questions about Chimaev that are gonna be answered this weekend in terms of his cardio and his striking as he's facing a well rounded fighter in Burns.

And here's Embedded episode 1 for UFC 273.  Watch how Yan trains.  Treadmill to punch mits, back to treadmill then heavy bag then back to treadmill and does it all over again.  Lmao.  I think Aljo is def f*cked.  Cheesy

^  Yeah, I guess Chimaev has become one of the most exciting, if not the most exciting prospect in the UFC rn.  Stealing a term from an infamous football manager, Chimaev could be the 'special one'.  Grin  But then again Burns could show him a thing or two...  I'd say the line is too wide but maybe after the match Chim will justify the line.  We'll see.

Here's the Countdown vid and the latest roster.  Looks like Latifi is out and replaced by Vanderaa.

No bets in football matches for the weekend as it could get dicey in many spots.  A lot of the players are all prolly tired from their international duties.  I did my Majestic 7 picks just to keep me entertained tho.  Leeez go!

Picks:  Trossard, Adams, Saka, Rashford, Kane, Bowen and Ramsey.

^  I think I'm only confident in Kane getting a goal.  And maybe Adams.  Cheesy  Saka could get one but doubful vs Crystal Palace away.
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2022, 01:15:58 PM
It's probably good to remove the underdogs from your parlay and just leave Volk, Yan and Garry parlayed at 1.75 since it's mostly likely going to cash then just bet straight on Burns and Du Plessis.  They're both live dogs imho.  Burns is a bit of step up for Chimaev, tho Chimaev could be something special.  And Du Plessis is going against Gastelum that seems to be deteriorating.  He hasn't looked himself since losing to Adesanya.

And tbh, I really don't know who I'd pick between Gastelum and Du Plessis.  The Du Plessis guy has some serious power in his hands and he's a big guy.  Go watch him vs Giles.
Funny you should say that it was either last week or the week before that I pretty much nailed a 6 fold accumulator if it wasn't for one of the massive favourites letting me down. Cory Mckenna, had to be a Welsh fighter too. I can't remember how much it was for now. It was for a decent amount I know.

I really like Du Plessis, hes come through for me many of times. Burns to me is the real risky bet, but I actually think hes going to do it. I rarely do single bets these days, I'd rather the excitement of an accumulator with high odds, especially since the Burns fight is one of the last on the accumulator.

I had Cory McKenna too.  At the top tier of my parlays.  Lmao.  She had the wrong game plan and stood up and striked vs her opponent who had good stand up.  If she had gone for her bread and butter with a grappling heavy game plan, it would've been an easy win for her imho.  I don't know why they did it but I think she and her camp prolly wanted to entertain the London crowd...  It cost them the W.

I'll lean Gastelum for jeremypwr's Multi Master but I'll prolly take a shot at Du Plessis.  He's on the up.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 02, 2022, 01:06:15 PM
^  I guess.  But it's still not an excuse to do it.  It basically could pressure the fighter into doing a move he wouldn't have and lose the match.

Who is going to remove those refs if they make a mistake like this?
Ref have their own union, and only one of their bodies can fire them, not bloody Dana White or some other guy like him in other mma organizations.
Then you also have local sport federation that is responsible for this and for rules in events, that means that every region even in United States can have different rules.
Take a look on one video showing craziest referee mistakes in UFC:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2FdxvX2aYk

I never said Dana White or any promoter could fire them.  But they could prolly go to the commission and request to habe them removed for the event.  And in case you didn't know it's the commission that sends the refs to the events to oversee the matches.  That's why we see them same refs at UFC, LFA, Bellator, etc..  They are not employed by the UFC.

But a double point deduction for two fighters feeling each other out is dumb.  I'd def say the same thing if it happened in the UFC.

Anyway, did anybody watch the PFL Challenger Series?  I couldn't find a stream.
2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 01, 2022, 04:43:05 PM
Right, my predictions:

Alexander Volkanovski
Petr Yan
Gilbert Burns
Mackenzie Dern
Aleksei Oleinik
Dricus Du Plessis
Aspen Ladd
Ian Garry
Anthony Hernandez
Jairzinho Rozenstruik
Mike Malott
Julio Arce
Vinc Pichel

That's a lot of fights this event. My actual betting slip will probably only include a few of these. I'm thinking Ian Garry, Petr Yan, Alex Volk, and potentially Gilbert Burns as the underdog. I'm undecided, but I might put Dricus Du Plessis on the betting slip too. Hes always pulled it out of the bag when I've included him.

2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is the "Draw No Bet" not found on most sportsbook on: April 01, 2022, 04:27:15 PM
Having played on several sportsbook platform's over the years both IRL and online,  I have noticed that most of these bookies
today don't have the " draw no bet" market. What could be their reasons for not giving us this market? Could it be that it's a less money generating market for most sportsbooks out there?

Draw no bet is exactly the same as +0 in the Asian handicap.  Go check your bookie if it has it.  Most likely it's there, and if not then it's prolly not worth betting anyway, esp if a match is so lopsided that the draw no bet option would be lined at 1.01 or something.  Lol.

Anyway, I've been trying to be wrong in the IQ test.  What would happen if my IQ goes to 0?  I won't be able to post for the day?
2831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 01, 2022, 04:18:45 PM
^  It's all about the money for guys like Ronaldo.  As I've been saying in these parts...  Not everyone is a Steven Gerrard.  He's prolly the only classy guy in European football after 2010.

As for him staying at United, I doubt it.  Not with how we saw that he's more of a liability than an asset in terms of when the manager is setting up the squad.  The manager seems to have to adjust his strategy and how he wants the squad to play because Ronaldo lacks some defensive skill sets.

Edit:  This is weird.  Sporting Lisbon is favorite to acquire Ronaldo this summer.  :/

2832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 01, 2022, 04:10:50 PM
If Herb Dean or Keith Peterson did something like that in let's say Yan vs Aljo bout, they would't see the end of it.  They'd never be allowed from ever working in the UFC again.  It's basically the ref manipulating the fighters into making a wrong decision.  It's dumb.
Who is going to remove those refs if they make a mistake like this?
They are untouchable and I saw many ref mistakes in UFC and not a single one was fired or removed from his work.
I don't know exact rules in One Championship and I didn't watch last event so I can't speak more about it.

PFL Challenger Series 7 is starting tomorrow with many unknown fighters that could sign a deal with PFL.
I can't find any history of their previous fights so it looks like they picked them up from street or from gym Smiley

Dana White or the UFC can't 'ban' referees per se but remember that ref at UFC 267 (I think) when he didn't stop the fight while one fighter was beating up the other guy who wasn't even fighting back anymore?  He was gonna be the ref of another match that night but it seems like the UFC has some say to remove a ref from their events.  Now I'm not sure if some dumb shit like the double point deduction for inactivity at ONE was a valid reason to remove the ref but they should be reprimanded for doing things that could change the outcome of a match.

You gotta watch it.

Edit:  No UFC and Bellator weekend.  That PFL challenger series will do.  Lol.

So...  Where's the Do Kwon guy right now?  Is he afk? [...]

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes back down around 44k.  It could be the right time to btfd for those who missed the move.  What do you guys think?

You do realize that "going down to 44k" is just a dip for ants, right? That guy wants to buy Bitcoin without pumping the price unnecessarily. If some don't see that and try to dump it, I'm sure that he will be happy to see that.
I guess that you would not expect him to buy 24/7 no matter what, no matter how high the price goes for short term...

Uh yeah...  It's a dip that doesn't signal a reversal of the trend up rn.  And it's important that the price should not break down 44k or we could see a possbility for BTC to go lower and enter goblin town.  You see that red bar right?  That's where resistance flipped and became support.  At least that's what I think...  I could be wrong tho.

Are you waiting for a dip back down to 30k?
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2022, 03:19:39 PM
^  After what happened during him and Yan's last match up, there's going to be no excuse coming from Aljo.  Yan showed that he was the better fighter that night.  Losing in the rematch would only be showing something like the inevitability of the crowd being shown who the real winner of the first fight is...  If that makes any sense.

And it isn't that Volk chose the weakest opponent.  The guy is a stud and beat most of all the best in his weight class.  TKZ is a former 155'er dropping down to 145.
2835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ron token(PREDICTION) on: March 31, 2022, 02:36:12 PM
I just heard that the reason for RON's massive sell down was it was exploited and had around 600m USD stolen from the network.  I'm not sure if the theft was all in RON or if there was some AXS stolen too.  And what's worse about it was the exploit happened 6 days ago and the devs didn't even say anything about it or at least have their community of users know what's went on.

So yeah...  RON devs' integrity is close to zero rn.  Stay away from this coin.  IMHO.

The ref can't pressure the fighters to get into action, even threatening to give a point deduction, if they're in the process of feeling each other out.  It's a title fight ffs.
I remember some refs doing the same thing in UFC but it's not that common thing.
I can't remember what exact fight in UFC that was but I remember commentators complaining about this judge and saying that is not ok.
Maybe they are pressured by owners to get more action and avoid boring fights, and they do that if they have weak character.

But a double point deduction just cos both fighters were in the process of feeling each other out in what could be the most important match in their careers?  C'mon.  If Herb Dean or Keith Peterson did something like that in let's say Yan vs Aljo bout, they would't see the end of it.  They'd never be allowed from ever working in the UFC again.  It's basically the ref manipulating the fighters into making a wrong decision.  It's dumb.
2838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2022, 12:42:36 PM
Yeah, we beat that topic to death when it happened, and we really couldn't find a definitive conclusion on how it should have played out. But the outcome has been set and moving forward from that I kinda wonder what Aljo brings to the table much more than Yan. Not sure if he could still win, but at least we might get a better performance from him.
I'm hoping so, you can't really blame Aljo for winning in that way, so it wasn't his fault, and its not like hes got to where he is out of luck. The guy is talented, I just think Yan in particular is a bad match up for him. Although, Aljo has the quality to submit, and knock out anyone. I've always been impressed with his wrestling skills, and it wouldn't be the first time that hes losing, and pulls out a submission out of nowhere.

I'm not super hyped for the fight, however I'm hoping its better than last time. I'm not a fan of total dominance fights, I prefer you know, an actual competitive fight.

Aljo actually has no KO power.  He'd have to grapple with Yan or grind him against the cage if his TD's don't work to nullify Yan's tools.  And yup, Aljo is really pretty good in wrestling and BJJ.  He finished Sandhagen in under a minute or so via rear naked choke.

And I'm actually hyped for the rematch.  Aljo has a good coach in Ray Longo who's considered to be one of MMA's best coaches.  Let's see what kind of adjustments they have cooking.  Wink  But yeah the lean is Yan but the line should prolly be closer.  Dunno...
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 30, 2022, 06:07:56 PM
^  The best engineering teams are Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes.  I'd say the most noticeable improvement could come from Mercedes.  Being so dominant in the V6 hybrid era, I don't think they'll just be sitting down and do nothing.  They prolly get another engine mode up or find a loop hole to get an edge.

From a betting perspective, just get ready to bet on Hamilton at quali and the race if you see a sudden shift in momentum.  I don't think Toto Wolff and his boys are done.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: March 30, 2022, 01:17:19 PM
^  I wasn't just talking about the match with Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang.  It was in most of the matches.  I mean I get it, they want it to be more entertaining for the fans but the refs shouldn't do that in matches that have something more on the line than just a W.  Like the title fight with Moraes vs Wakamatsu.  The ref can't pressure the fighters to get into action, even threatening to give a point deduction, if they're in the process of feeling each other out.  It's a title fight ffs.

And there were also a couple other matches...
