2821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: September 20, 2018, 08:59:28 AM
Definitely this is a game and you should outsmart your enemy so that you will go out successful. I know that this kind of investment is really good but if one will act foolishly in this investment definitely he would be nowhere to be found including his/her investment.
2822  Other / Meta / Re: Is the new rule (1 Merit for Jr. Member) already reducing spam? on: September 19, 2018, 10:16:07 AM
Are you able to calculate how many jr.members were born from yesterday to today and from who were born?
For example, if a person gave the birth to 10 or 20 or 30 Jr.Members can starts to be suspicious!
This is a really hard work and a full time job right here. I cannot do like this and definitely I rather go home early and be with my kids and my wife.

Another option is to buy copper membership or try to buy some smerit in the dark which isn't profitable at all for auto-bots managers.
So yeah, +1 merit is effective and it will remains for the next few months at least.
This is what theymos has said that the brighter side on implementing the +1 merit requirement for every newbie rank to rank up to jr. member is equally fair and reasonable. Yet, it should remain +1 merit requirement since I had only 2 on my profile and for somehow I get scared so I should be serious this time taking my posts to next level.
2823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: September 19, 2018, 09:37:55 AM
Bitcoin online paying method is a really nice idea because it is a fast transaction and the goods or products that you are going to avail will be a lot more cheaper and it was a huge advantage for us who are using bitcoins, So i hope that they are going to continue implementing this kind of transactions on different ways.
Yes i do agree with it also but take note that bitcoin as an online paying method would be in line also with cryptocurrency like investing in an ICO projects, trading on other altcoins and etc. However, if you will say that it should be used in the establishment well it may be depending on that establishment but the value of bitcoin is volatile so using bitcoin as an exchange would might be a little complicated.
2824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) down $200 on: September 18, 2018, 01:31:37 PM
Well i do not really know what could be the real reason for this market price drop for bitcoin but i guess it is possible that bitcointalk forum new jr. members rank requirement made some investors to quit on cryptocurrency. Yet, this is only temporary because for sure they will be back here soon as they will find the hype of bitcoin market price.
2825  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: September 17, 2018, 07:33:57 AM
"Cryptocurrency market could hit $1 trillion this year with bitcoin surging to $50,000, experts say"
Hopefully, it will come true!!!
We should not speculate that much because that is only speculations. As we all know that those speculations could be a false hope and that will hurts most when you fail after you are getting so sure that your speculations will come to reality. Let us watch over and observe and should not speculate that much.
2826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses too much energy? on: September 17, 2018, 06:59:29 AM
Mining gold wastes a lot energy and ressources. Yet we accept it.
The entire banking system needs huge amounts of energy. Yet we accept it.
People are wasting energy in a large scale. Still we accept it.

What is different when Bitcoin uses energy to support a decentralized network?
No do not generalize the people or every country around the world because most of the develop countries had created some advocacy on conserving energy. They are working on and advising the third world or developing countries to conserve however these develop countries are hypocrite since they are not following their advocacy imposed on the third world countries and for that those countries are wasting so much energy.
2827  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: September 17, 2018, 04:44:51 AM
Think first what kind of business you want to put up accepting bitcoin as payment to become successful and you must have a big capital to have sufficient supply to avoid spending the bitcoin you received as payment so that you can hold it and sell when the price is high to double your profit.
Yes of course and if you may i suggest to the OP to create a business that is also inline with the cryptocurrency system. It could be so hard to mixed up the cryptocurrency to the outside or real world where centralized system is being applied. So basically payment system will hardly work and again it is better to inline with cryptocurrency just check the ICO projects for references.
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Bitcoin total ownership goal? on: September 16, 2018, 02:29:21 PM
So, at one stage in your life, you should set some goals for something that you want to achieve in the future. The same is applicable to Bitcoin and you should set some realistic goals for yourself.

I know a lot of people are aiming for 21 coins <as their first goal, because there are 21 million coins in total>  Roll Eyes

Would you stop after you reached your goal or would you set new goals after that? When will you stop collecting and hoarding your coins or are we all a bunch of Scrooge McDucks?

Let's see how many people have decided on specific, realistic goals and how many people are just collecting coins without goals.

My precious..  Roll Eyes
It is so hard to attain and achieve even 1 Bitcoin since it is so expensive and i could not even can afford to buy at least one. Yet my only target is to get 1 Bitcoin however, i know it is somehow like impossible because doing bounty campaign and receive coins as a reward could not even compromise the value of 1 BTC and the rewards are not that good also depending on the ICO project but specifically there are many ICO project that does not pay well of course one thing to consider is your Bitcointalk rank.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest and most reliable altcoin? on: September 16, 2018, 01:46:52 PM
What for you is the safest and most reliable altcoin that any beginners of cryptocurrency can buy and invest in to? Because bitcoin is unpredictable I wonder if I can start buying altcoins instead, however, I do not want to buy an altcoin that will just be a waste of money. Any ideas?
I do believe that is ETH since when you do transferring or trading ETH it could be easily done and fast. THis is the feature that the ETH has an advantage compared to other country. In addition to it that ETH is the most reliable altcoin is that most of the altcoins and ICO projects are ETH platform base so there could be no worry with ETH market price it will always goes up high. Aside from that ETH is second in rank when it comes to coinmarketcap volume.
2830  Other / Meta / Re: How recognized are you in the bitcointalk world? on: September 16, 2018, 12:51:01 PM
(OMG - this is not a post about merit!  This is a post about Activity and Trust as well)   Wink

I believe the three main pillars of a bitcointalk profile are Merit, Activity and Trust (MAT).

Since I already rank everyone based on those attributes, I thought I would make a new attribute and call it "Recognition".

Everyone is scored 1-1000 for each pillar.  If you are not ranked you are scored 1000.  The totals are added up, and divided by three.

The result, a number from 1 to 1000 (lower is better), is your average ranking in this community - according to these three pillars anyway.  Personally, I was quite stunned at the results.  :/

https://bpip.org/report.aspx?r=mostrecognized
You are one of the recognized bitcointalk user in this forum i have voted you in a poll thread where you are one of the choices appeared. There are many known bitcointalk user account here what does their job quite good and envy on them because they had it already while i am still in the process of learning and one thing is that i am not really that good poster since my english is really that bad.
2831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should never doubt on bitcoin investment! on: September 16, 2018, 12:09:10 PM
I also hope that way, hopefully your predictions will really happen. because I and many people in this forum want an increase in Bitcoin.
For people who have a lot of money, don't waste this opportunity because Bitcoin will immediately bounce up.
I know the feeling of depress because you loss already your money in terms to equivalency of your crypto to fiat money since market price for now is down. You should not let this affect to you because for sure you will going your crypto if your emotions over flow. You should understand that the number of your crypto holding is still the and the only different is the market price. Wait for the market price to move high before trading it.
2832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in going down, is it bad...? on: September 15, 2018, 12:43:09 PM
Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...

I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again...
Will it?
How about now? As of this moment i saw bitcoin market price goes high same with the ETH that has a huge market price fall down. I had this mind already that these crypto could recover it may be slowly but somehow it will be surely. I cannot believe why there are many members here that would always love to say that bitcoin is dead. Well it ain't going to happen.
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: September 15, 2018, 04:34:45 AM
What is the waves future?
please share your opinion
In my opinion Bitcoin has gone through thousands of waves and it still exists and peaked at $ 20,000 and the future wave I thought would be more terrible and it could be $ 100,000. No one knows ahead of time how and what will come.
That would be another FUD if we say that WAVES will get 100K USD in the future? It will surpass bitcoin? Well i do not know also like you stated above. I know that waves is good and it has established already but there could be no way that other crypto will going to surpass bitcoin in terms of market price increase and demand.
2834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: September 15, 2018, 04:03:28 AM
waves have a great future, their protocol is better than that of the etherium
I do not see waves now compared to ethereum though waves is a good crypto in the market and it does not uses ETH platform and the other side is that waves has establish already also in the crypto market. However, i still do believe that it could be so hard to surpass ethereum.
2835  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: September 15, 2018, 02:53:00 AM
Many countries seen cryptocurrency as a threat in their current economy. Maybe this is due to many issues cryptocurrency suffering. Many has already become a victim of the scams and huge hacking issues.
Well i do not believe that there are so many countries that ban the use of cryptocurrency. I believe that there are only quite few of them and those countries have problems in dealing with national security threat. As we all know that the cryptocurrency has its trademark as anonymity so it could be difficult to trace if transactions being done for smuggling weapons will be done using cryptocurrency system. However, in different countries cryptocurrency is doing good and local exchanges had done KYC to track those people who use heavy or having huge transactions.
2836  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: September 15, 2018, 02:15:44 AM
Well there are few countries who does not allow the use of crypto but if compared the number of countries using crypto is greater than those who did not. Well anyway there are many reason why a certain country does not allow the use of cryptocurrency and the main reason is the security of that certain country especially if the rebellion against government is rampant like those in the middle east country where it could be used as payment form in those illegal trading activities like smuggling of weapons and etc.
2837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with fake exchanges on: September 13, 2018, 05:10:08 PM
I would like to up this thread in the forum to raise awareness on the people that are having some crypto holdings that might end up depositing on the fake digital wallet exchange. Yeah there are exchanges that are fake and all of us must be aware here because we do not know that one day we will end up losing our crypto from the fake exchanges.
2838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: September 12, 2018, 06:47:13 AM
For me, we need to regulate digital currencies, especially bitcoin to fully make use of it as payment in online transactions. And so that, bitcoin and other cryptos will exist forever. Although it opposes its idea being a decentralized cryptocurrency, I believe we need to do this in order that bitcoin and other cryptos survive for long in the crypto or real world.
Yeah we need some assurance that our money will be safe everytime we invest or if it is being used to realize the project that we invested and will not go to the pocket of the CEO and team doing ICO projects. Aside from that government could watch over the market price movement so that it will not manipulated if there are manipulations and the government could identify people who are getting involve in cryptocurrency for national security.
2839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: September 12, 2018, 06:16:49 AM
Well you have the idea there because cryptocurrency is realize in a way of anonymity and in the contrary they implemented blockchain technology. After all blockchain technology is not enough to make the system worth it to be accepted by the government that is why the ETF which being discussed in the USA congress was being denied. However we really need to have a regulation in terms of securing our investments to where our money will be put up especially on those ICO projects that collect contributions.
2840  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk has made me a bit sad today. on: September 11, 2018, 05:04:28 PM
I really do appreciate your efforts for the system. Yeah as i read the thread i kinda sad too that they are ignoring your good efforts to put up a good community and healthy environment for this forum. I always look up on you since you are in hero or full member account and wishing that i might get some merits before. This is the way i see you before a merit giver but now after some time i realize that it is not all about the merits. This is all about learning and i have started already my small scale investment with btc with hard earn money i have. As bounty hunter also it is so hard to get merit to rank up but at least for now i realize that behind my effort to earn there is still someone like you whom efforts that one should be rewarded and not the likes of me. Do not be sad because you have our support here.
