LOL, "Tango down"!  Oh ffs  To be fair, I suspect this is down to the fact that Cryptsy has always been the least stable of the exchanges and partial outages are constant and daily. I have never seen a complete outage though. I give them the benefit of the doubt. Twitter needs update post, "Darksend Progress Reports" in first post of thread needs update link. Team, please create a checklist for announcements. Every announcement I see certain places that need updating being overlooked. Checklist will solve this problem, stuff like this is important when trying to look professional.

Just download the new wallet if on a MAC new Wallet QT into Applications Folder (DO NOT touch the .dat file) run the application and done ! you are updated to the new wallet ! |

How does everyone else do it? i think we need a campaign to make dark accepted on btce everytime i try to promote dark on trollbox none has accurate infos and none knows about masternode system ..they barely have heard about it. We NEED DARK ON BTC-E so this can make it more well known...WE NEED A HUGE CAMPAIGN TO GET DARK ON BTC-E...this will be a big movement ..we need a group here from the community to go and promote dark on the trollbox and talk about accurate infos...everytime i try that none follows me.Come on lets do it!!!!! Dude, they havn't added a new coin for more than a year now i think. Despite having a community of people with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, even Doge is still not there yet. Sorry for the stupid question, but why is BTC-E so important? Where are they, how long have they been around, I assume they were around as long as Mt Gox but didn't f*ck up? Do they trade anything else besides BTC? If they trade LTC, why the heck don't they trade DRK? LTC is junk! Why is Litcoin going crazy on BTC-E now? BTC-E is one of these classic Exchanges from the beginning they had/have (?) huge volume for all the altcoins and BTC they are out of Ukrain or something eastern like that but their troll box is ... as the name said .... the invention of all Trollboxes ! They were the 1st exchange i ever went on they work, even though they are a bit dodgy due to their location |

For anyone who's interested, a sneak peak at the next release of Darkcoin:
TLDR:
- Next release will go out in the next two days probably, I'm going with the community and calling it "The Onyx Release"
- It features mandatory, non-exploitable Masternode payments.
- Masternode payments are completely predictable now. I.e., if there's 2000 masternodes you can expect 1 payment every 4 days (divide the amount of nodes by the blocks per day to get your ROI).
- Masternode payments will go to 25% one week from release (non-manditory)
- Afterwards I encourage the community to find the pools still paying 20% and contact them to make sure they update their stratum before it's too late
- Masternode payments beyond that will increase to 30% in November, 35% in December and continue on until we get at least 3000 masternodes.
- Huge security updates to Darksend. It's much more robust and can take a beating.
It's a true proof-of-service setup now. Each new node has a 1 in N (total number of masternodes) chance of receiving a payment each block. After a payment, they must wait N blocks to receive another one (give or take 10%). There's no room for gaming the system because it's using math based off of the proof-of-work to prove the node won, plus you'd have to wait 15 confirmations each time you moved money around and that takes from your profit too.
Will enforcement be turned on for future increase in block reward? or will this be goodwill based? this is not really clear to me cuz of the 'non-mandatory' Great work otherwise Greetz With the new system reward increases and payee are enforced. Is there a reason to aim for 3k Masternodes? Any future plan that requires as many, or just decentralized objective? security ! |
