2821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: July 25, 2021, 10:36:28 AM
Binance has grown into a force to reckon with since its establishment in 2017. In just 4 years since inception, Binance dominates the crypto market being the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Its most successful venture has been the launch of a public smart contract platform dubbed "Binance Smart Chain". The native cryptocurrency "BNB" went from being worth cents to hundreds of dollars (USD) in just a few years since inception.

It seems to me that Binance has huge influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry. Sometimes I wonder if the world's biggest crypto exchange is too big to fail. With no signs of decline, Binance is on a road to widespread success in the mainstream world. This is bad because it'll make crypto heavily centralized.

What are your thoughts? Is Binance too big to fail? If not, why? Do you think Binance has too much power/influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry? How will it affect crypto (either positively or negatively) in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I won't say that binance will fail one day but remember that nothing is too big to fail.
Mt. Gox which was the biggest bitcoin exchange got hacked and this was the end for them. Everyone thought that  Mt. Gox  is hard to fail but you never know what will happen in the future.
2822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bicointalk signatures on: July 25, 2021, 10:22:58 AM
From bitcointalk profile signatures, what does the crypto new project expect?
Is it just a matter of promoting & investing the project through signatures?

Signature acts as ad in the forum. No one will wear the signature for free here. The companies either pay in bitcoin or their native coin for us to wear their signature and advertise their projects.

Crypto projects spend this money in order to get more exposure to their project. Also they hope that if people found the project interesting, they will invest in it too.
2823  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2021, 09:21:58 AM

Hope it becomes reality soon and and you will not get heart attack seeing the hospital bill at that time Grin

You can still have a hearth attack if you do not have bitcoins to pay the bill  Wink
2824  Economy / Speculation / Re: What have changed in BTC price on: July 25, 2021, 08:50:08 AM
The price of Bitcoin increasing does not mean we have more adoption it just means there was more positive things effecting the price. Adoption is proven by the amount of people sending transactions on the Blockchain and that is the only indicator we have for adoption. Adoption is probably down from what it was pre 2018.

How can you say that bitcoin adaption is down from 2018 ? In 2018 and prior, there was only whales and retail in the market but in the present time many institutions have adopted bitcoin. Marketcap is another way of looking at the adoption of bitcoin. As the marketcap grows, it means more and more people are holding and using bitcoins.
2825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 25, 2021, 08:15:11 AM
KYC exchanges are exchanges that guarantee the safety of their users, there may be some exchanges that do not use KYC, but as such these exchanges are less secure, and look un professional, I really like KYC exchanges because they are of good quality and professional.

P2P exchanges are the only way to convert your fiat into bitcoin. 90% of these exchanges require KYC and provide a built in escrow service. Unless you are want to avoid Kyc and take a bit of risk, you may try other methods. I am using binance P2P without any issues  to convert my fiat into btc or vice versa.
2826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are humans not changing naturally? on: July 25, 2021, 06:56:50 AM
According to the oldest skull of humans, it is said that primitive humans have small skulls, there were time when there was no single human on Earth, but evolution still continues after the humans evolved, it can be hard to notice but will become obvious after thousands or millions of years passed. We do not know where the world is going, I believe the scientists will be the one that will not let people to know some structures or functions in their body may be evolving artificially.

The only evolution which human are doing every day is that they are introducing more and more technologies every day at the expense of their age (life). No matter how much humans have developed , they have been losing their age. The average age human is decreasing ever since. What's the use of all this technology enhancement, when they can't increase their life span  Huh
2827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Doctor says mRNA vaccines “will kill most people” through heart failure on: July 25, 2021, 04:58:18 AM
The most terrible thing with these "doctors" is that their patients and many other people will listen to them and some percentage of them WILL die from COVID. None of the vaccinated people will die from the disease.

The story doesn't end here. The vaccinated people are the ones, who had the good immunity power and survived the pandemic. Now they will get vaccinated and develop other complications. Even i have seen many people who got covid right after getting vaccinated. Although they recovered, but does not make sense to get the covid within a week of getting vaccinated. Something is wrong somewhere.

2829  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: July 25, 2021, 02:45:35 AM

if you bought Bitcoin a few days ago when the price was below $30k then now you have profited a few percent. the market will always be good depending on when you buy or sell.

People are looking differently in the market trend those who bought at it's highest has a lot to regret and thinking of cutting their losses if they have weak hands they are likely to do that, and of course, there are those who are always looking for the price to drop, so they can buy cheap and sell high when the market is good, some of them are FUDSTER always looking on a chart for their entry and exit.

If you are an investor, you should not look at the market on daily basis as this will either make you panic if the price is low or you will want to sell if the price is higher than your buying price. The investors should have the vision of making high profits.
The traders should look at the market on daily basis and keep on booking the profits. These are the ones who need some income/profit regularly to keep the circle running.
2830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: July 24, 2021, 06:18:50 PM
Panic and tremors only make us fall into the arms of bears, some people appear to haggle over the price of bitcoin to buy when the market breaks strongly, they may lose more than their advantage.  I'm not nailing the bottom, because I'm bullish on bitcoin.  Buying at 29-30k is a good reassurance. I guess we're going to be strong this weekend.
those who panic will get nothing in the market...

Buying when the market is bullish and selling when the market is bearish is stupid behavior. the best time to buy is when the market is bearish, then control your panic, don't be like a stupid newbie who always panics.

The fear and greed index represent the opposite of this behavior. People normally loves to jump in a running train and hardly take any position while the train is still and not moving. I don't understand the nature of the people that they will feel hesitant to buy bitcoin at 30K but these people were happy buying at 60K  Roll Eyes

Looking for someone offering cheap time travel that goes backwards (past time).

Thanks.

Time travelling is not possible and it won't be cheap when it will be possible.

Most of you remember the Back to the Future movies series where we see a lot of time travelling and going back n forth in the future. Maybe it will be reality some day to go back in the past and fix the things which we did wrong.

2832  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Doctor says mRNA vaccines “will kill most people” through heart failure on: July 24, 2021, 05:44:32 PM
Covid vaccines provide permanent heart damage, and eventually... death.

Canadian Doctor: 62% of Patients Vaccinated for COVID Have Permanent Heart Damage

This is related to Moderna vaccine only. Previously there were rumors facts about AstraZeneca which causes clot in the blood.  Strangely the world doesn't like the Chinese vaccine Sinopharm even though we have not heard about any side effects of this vaccine. Getting vaccinated is mandatory so why not go for Sinopharm ?
2833  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unvaccinated people dying and begging for vaccination on: July 24, 2021, 07:42:27 AM
"A doctor has revealed how coronavirus patients who have not been vaccinated beg for the jab – but tells them ‘it’s too late’.

I haven't read the whole story but why its too late for people to get vaccination ? There is no shortage of vaccine and anybody can still get vaccinated if he wants to. Also the vaccination is free in almost every country of the world. So i think its not too late to get vaccinated. Cool
2834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 24, 2021, 07:28:27 AM

Lol, I think it would be more objective to predict in 5-10 years...  Roll Eyes 100 years is unlikely we will live to see what miracles will happen to bitcoin, and I agree, need to accumulate. Accumulate and soak in bitcoin to earn a retirement or retire without having to work. Given the turmoil in the economy right now, I think we'll soon see bitcoins worth over $100k in 5 years, the end of the year at the earliest.

It is too much to ask your vision about what will going to happen in bitcoin after a 100 years I mean anything in this world is unsure to whatever it may happen but let's just think about the technology that we have today that have been introduced in the world for a long time ago but it only materializes at this modern times. It is much more realistic to predict in a range of 5-10 years but a 100 years is beyond my imagination. I guess we should enjoy what benefits we have gain from bitcoin today and let's make the best out of it by preparing our future through the help of these platform.

No one among us will be alive to see what will happen to bitcoin after 100 years. So whatever any one predicts about the bitcoin future, after 100 years, it cannot be validated by us.
One thing is for sure that we will not have fiat currencies after 100 years.
2835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ladies reaction over jokes on: July 23, 2021, 04:32:44 PM
I couldn't believe the reaction rate of over reaction from a lady and his committee of friends. I keep on wandering if it is their nature or an art carried out vivily for self.

Is it their true nature to behave that way?

Perhaps men have more responsibility and they take life serious as compare to women. A person who is busy might not fake laughs and will only laugh at genuine jokes, while women who have free time and less responsibility may remain more happy and laugh louder even on slightest of jokes.
2836  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism: Where Do We Draw the Line? on: July 20, 2021, 06:23:18 PM
Perhaps though, there is wiggle room to make it manifestly clear, by including a clear reminder when creating a new post (something along the line of what is mentioned in rule 33 + the example, and emphasizing on referencing the source). This has been commented before on multiple occasions, is seemingly easy to do, and shows some good will to trim the number of cases we recurrently see. Nobody would be able to claim ignorance from there on, which is what we often read.
Any kind of welcome message would be better than nothing at all. If it were up to me, I would display a notification whenever brand-new and newbie accounts try to post something. That should inform them about two things: plagiarism and spamming. That notification should be visible for either a set number of days or until they reach Jr. Member rank for example.

Nice suggestion. It may not 100% eliminate Plagiarism but still it will give a message to the one who are ignorant.

By the way do we have any data that newbie are the ones who do Plagiarism or higher members of the forum also do the same mistake also ?
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to do selecte best bounty or airdrop on: July 18, 2021, 09:49:23 AM
I've registered about 100 projects so far, but I got tokens for 15 bounty projects.

Other all project scam or waiting  list tokens  deastribution

Your bounty  or airdrop  working?

how to do you selected best bounty?

What if i tell you to leave the bounty and stop wasting your time. Would you agree me ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Majority of the people joining the bounty are either students who have a lot of free time or those who want to earn but does not have skills so they join this bounty work. I would like to remind you that this is not 2016/17 where people were making good income from bounty alone. Time have changed and now you need to be more skillful if you want to earn.
2838  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: July 18, 2021, 08:07:44 AM

Everyone knows that a lot of people have died because of this covid-19. So it is not a scam and is real.

I live in one of the 'hardest hit' regions on the planet and have for the whole duration of this scamdemic.  I personally know of zero people who even went to the hospital for 'covid' in the last year and a half, and I have a relatively large circle of friends and associates.  On the other hand, I personally know of several people who had to go to the hospital or lay in their home 'paralyzed' (whatever that means) within days of getting AstraZeneca and Sinovac respectively.  Both were relatively aged family members of some of our employees.

I also know from personal experience that two hospitals were basically close down with no patients even while the news media breathlessly reported on overloaded hospital conditions because of the 'pandemic'.

quote author=virasog link=topic=5270928.msg57486952#msg57486952 date=1626589602]
The real question however should be whether it is a natural virus or it is something build in the laboratories to control the world and the population.

There is not much question in my mind.  It was engineered by basically the same set of people who had already developed the basic 'vaccine' for it.  That is an extra good reason to avoid the gene therapy injection as I look at things.  But, to each his own.  Darwinian evolution has elements of both good decision making and dumb luck.

Moral of the story is that we are at the disposal of the Evil Governments along with the pharmaceutical companies who have planned a sweet death to us without the destructions and side effects of the war.  Sad
2839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you worried about the delta virus variant? on: July 18, 2021, 07:45:50 AM
It is reported to be up to 60% more transmissible. I'm OK, and I'm not taking any precautions, as I haven't been vaccinated, so I still have all my natural immunity.

Being healthy is a blessing in recent time and if you're healthy, you are the most blessed person .  Smiley

2840  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Youtube starts campaign of mass censorship and demonetization on: July 18, 2021, 07:27:50 AM
And since there's a lag between slow government operations and corrections and the speed at which GoogleYoutube can make changes, they are starting now on their plan to influence the 2020 elections.

They will go all out to attempt to get their candidate to win, figuring that they can't be stopped in the time frame in which the election happens.

Assuming they succeed, they'll put into effect the plan they intended for 2016.

That's what we got.

Which is why capitalism is just dictatorship with more steps.

It's crazy how you all condemn the death of free speech and how it's just communism once again and it's just propaganda...

Well.. Yeah... That's what you get when a firm holds a complete monopole on something... And that's what happens when there is no regulation from the people. The best company slowly eats all the other ones and once they have the monopole they do whatever the fuck they want...

Capitalism anyone? That rings a bell? xD

Yes, free markets don't really exist in the technology sector in the current state of capitalism.  A few big players dominate the scene and we have companies like Facebook and Google that buy up all the other companies.  People like to hate on socialism/communism for the centralization of power but capitalism does indeed have the same outcome in many ways.

Its time that we should move to the decentralized video sharing platforms. Such platforms does exists but we don't watch videos on those channels and therefore there is very less traffic there. If decentralized platforms become popular, these YouTube will not be able to hijack content creator rights.
