2821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: January 15, 2023, 08:54:34 PM
Now that Elon Musk is in the driver's seat of Twitter, he has not really done much in the lines of crypto and I really don't expect him too after his last tint of Bitcoins mining ways that sent prices tumbling down and people didn't like him for that. Dogecoin hasn't been in his vocabulary in a long time and I think his probably moved onto another coin, but only time will tell after he does some house cleaning with Twitter.

There are successful people out of investment on memecoins. A market shouldn't be of a same product, it needs to provide variety to its users. One such variety in cryptocurrency is the memecoins. These are for short term, if lucky you'll be profiting and if not you just need to ignore. Dogecoin to be used by Elon Musk might happen, but this isn't gonna make big push in the market.
No one denies that a lot of money can be made with meme coins, but what is the ratio of winners and losers? Or to put it in another way how many losers we have for each winner that claims to have made a fortune investing in meme coins? And the numbers are surely horrible, as people invest in those coins thinking about making some quick cash only to find out that instead of achieving their dreams of making a lot of money they instead lost it.
I think this give us some estimation of how many are losing money with these "funny" tokens:

Almost 81% of Shiba Inu Investors are at Loss, Indicates Analysis

And that is the one they consider one of the best memecoins of the market, probably just after doge. Now imagine the percentage of investors in loss who have invested in alternative memecoins, hoping they were going to become the new hype of the industry. It's sad to see so many people are losing money for nothing, while they could be simply holding bitcoins and making their money grow on long term.
This is heartbreaking to read, but people need to understand the crypto markets are no playground, you need to know what you want and not allowing the markets not to tell you what you need! Unfortunately shiba coin came with a concept to deceive people and painted a picture that they will do what dodge failed to do of hitting a dollar as price etc.. unfortunately this was more less like a scripted movie and we know how it ends... But you know what, we can't win it all, you win some and you lose some it's the name of the game.

The senior guy from your office should be given a big hug for his insightful advice to stop you from taking those Metformin drugs which seemed to be making things worse at the extent of affecting your Blood Pressure.. I guess these doctors of today all they want is to get people hooked on drug's forgetting its really lives at stake. Thanks for believing in yourself and finding a doctor that believed an alternative route was possible, keep the fight going Champ!
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 05:44:57 PM
What a way to start an important game for arsenal they managed to score early thanks to loris mistake
The moment Spurs conceded an own goal I knew this game was over because it not only drains the momentum off the other players but goal keeper loses his confidence in his services too and halftime score Tottenham 0-2 Arsenal.

It is possible that Arsenal will add more goals in the second half.
Hope Arsenal just keep this scoreline to avoid humility these guys otherwise this title race is starting to have their name written all over it.

It is also possible that Tottenham score goals and get leveled with Arsenal, although the chances are low knowing that they are up against the league leaders, it is not impossible.
You don't host a game and go down by 2goals in the first half, your own fans won't have it in them who should be the 12th player to offer support... I wouldn't be surprised if they start walking out while game goes on, otherwise a comeback against Arsenal  Tongue not this Spurs team unfortunately!!!
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 04:20:38 PM
Arsenal v Tottenham next If Arsenal can beat Tottenham without any problems I think they can win the league this season.
Arsenal did exceptionally well in the first half of the league and now that the second half is underway... they now need to put in 101% to protect and secure their top spot otherwise every game played will be like a final for them. Btw Spurs are very much beatable they are not in their element atm.

Man City have not been performing well and I think they are hoping that Haaland gets them through their problems but they are struggling just like everyone else this season except they have world class players so are still getting results but they are not playing their best game.
Maybe city are tired of winning but for all I know let's not write them off too soon, we have seen them lag behind and still win the league.

Arsenal are working as a team and even if they have injuries I would fancy them to still win the league. I think today will be a big test of their mentality since Tottenham have been inconsistent but have a record of beating teams that are at the top of the table. Tottenham have managed to beat Man City many times over the years when City were dominant.
I don't think Tottenham will stop a determined Arsenal side that is looking hungry for some silverware, unless they are jinxed or something this a W.O(WALKOVER) but worst result here could be a draw.
2825  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Primary Purpose (Advertising or Gift) on: January 15, 2023, 02:34:40 PM
Gift how ? why ? Signature campaigns fall under the bracket of marketing, and anybody who turns out to be a participant of that signature campaign is an Agent of the company trying to sell the services of what the offer to forum members in exchange of a payment which one gets from the sig itself on a weekly basis and not to be mistaken for a gift.
2826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I'm looking for big crypto communities! on: January 15, 2023, 02:05:34 PM
Your best bet to get such local communities is visiting exchange telegram groups which have various crypto local communities links which you can tap in without paying anyone, if you still need this help will be happy to chip in...

Btw is that $3 per community link provided?
2827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: January 15, 2023, 12:39:28 PM
Looking at the poll results shows clearly no one wishes for the bankruptcy of Binance because hate them or love them they are in some way ambassadors of the crypto ecosystem and we need more of these for btc and other altcoins to succeed... Binance might have their short comings in some areas but they are a key player in all this, and besides if they go down now.. it leaves everyone with trust issues with these exchanges and it will be difficult to connect fiat and crypto on a large scale which Binance manages to do.

I’ll be surprised if Binance isn’t below $100 in 90 days…
So many supporting activities going on with Bnb, token burns, binance still the biggest exchange, among the most popular and transaction fees are low so many reasons keeping Bnb relevant if you ask me.

My takeaway from this… The more BTC people withdraw from exchanges, the higher the price of BTC will go.
In a way this is true as most of Bitcoins potential is being held by these altcoins

2828  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 15, 2023, 12:00:32 PM
When I got to know of bitcoin a few years back, people have always preached to buy low and sell high or buy the dip and hodl but unfortunately this alone doesn't just work!

To be successful with crypto investments one needs to know how to actually read charts, interpret candlestick movements and all the fun stuff and once you get to this level then you are ready to make sound decisions with the backing of your chart reading skills.

So my key to successful investing is knowing how to read charts!
2829  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io multi-accounting problem on: January 15, 2023, 07:09:56 AM
Okay, so it appears they are accusing me of this same thing too!!

As I said, I cannot place a bet anymore and cannot withdraw.
Unfortunately @Doktore1907 did not comeback to tell us how his case ended for reference but from the look of the positive feedback from the Sportsbet team I believe this case was closed and handled in his favor. Best bet here is comply with the teams needs it should be well, hope no VPN is connecting you to the said accounts...

So I sent in my documents and submitted both steps of the verification process, which was completed succesfully.

Then I received an email asking if I had more than one account, to which I said I absolutely do not.

It could be a routine check if same IP appears on your account with other connected accounts , for now do as the compliance team requests you should be fine. And if you don't mind you are better off starting a new thread to get the right representatives look into your case as this one is a solved case, Goodluck.
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 14, 2023, 08:44:12 PM
Newcastle are interested in Ruben Neves signing while his contract is expiring in less than two years. I don't think Wolves can hold him at the team anymore as long as they got an offer from a bigger and a very rich team like Newcastle.
Newcastle boasts of having wealthy owners but unfortunately these guys haven't made big accusations that will remind us of their presence, otherwise for me Newcastle look like the same old team with some self belief  believing they can be whatever they want if they put their minds to it.

You know how strong Newcastle have been performing since the start of the season. They are one of the serious candidates of top 4 now.
We keeping watch of their performance, but I think once injuries start to roll in Newcastle will be a different team, points will be dropped and they will now know why they need to reinforce the team with new signings...

They don't have any money issue at all as well. In this situation signing Neves wouldn't be much difficult for them. I think he is still a good player by the way but he is just wasting his time with Wolves.
Neves isn't going anywhere tbh I think wolves will be happy to keep him unless Newcastle pays an over inflated price to get him.

Besides Newcastle should look for bigger transfers especially if they manage to qualify for the Champions League. They will have all the things they need to sign top players in that case.
Newcastle champions league, wow wow are we not getting ahead of ourselves... Is this also the part where those clauses of Cristiano Ronaldo coming to Newcastle come in as well  Tongue tbh top 4 won't happen there is too much history at stake here Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea all will find their MOJO to fight for that spot being occupied by Newcastle.
2831  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 14, 2023, 06:47:45 PM
People always say age is just a number and I think it's appropriate we apply it here.. besides investing in crypto at that age is perfect timing as you aren't in so much of a hurry to make money like a teenager who would want to have money to impress or showoff to his /her friends...at this point it could be considered as diversifying your investments on top of what you might already have. If you like you can leave your crypto investment as a present for your kids or grand kids when the grow up which should be worth something.

2832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2023, 01:34:55 PM
The Manchester derby has played out so well in the first half and City have really been silenced such that they have had no shot on goal which is unheard of, ETH really deserves some credit for bringing this team this far and honestly I fancy Utd to win this but teams like City just need one mistake from the opposition and all the good game play won't matter.

Inplay prediction : Utd 1-0 City

For a full list you can check this link:

https://coinmarketcap.com/largest-companies/

We are in the 20th spot, just ahead of Walmart and Tesla, but below JP Morgan and NVIDIA. And on top, Apple, MicroSoft, Google and Amazon.
20th spot for such a young product on the market is not bad! Now imagine how  the world will take crypto if it can sit any where among the top 5... its going to be something the world can't ignore anymore and I expect panic buying for fear of missing out on the new gold.

2835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 14, 2023, 07:55:18 AM
I came across a topic recently now of this very thread about a casino refusing to pay a woman her jackpot winnings of over £35.4m and if you'll all agree with me that, this isn't a little sum of money to just ignore.
This is some life changing money in any part of the world and not to be paid after seeing the screen screaming jackpot and what not, this would be war for them with my lawyer's!

Btw if they say it's a faulty machine do they refund all players that lost money on it Roll Eyes

What got me worried isn't just the winning but to know why casinos are getting away without paying players their exactly winnings with some shitty excuses ?

Link to the post of the woman's winnings below
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433888.0
Please I really want to understand this question and will be glad to hear from people

Maybe because the people that win these jackpots buy the stories these casinos tell about faulty machines etc and choose to let them go off the hook, but had it been a high roller who has lost so much money on this same machine, they certainly wouldn't get away with it.
2836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 14, 2023, 05:32:02 AM
Hi guy I drew chart, I know I am not expert but I will say that I will say that In start of new year Bitcoin is looking weak and that's not good for the Cryptocurrency makret.
Usually around this period trading volumes are low too because investors, retail traders and pretty much everyone are off their charts and spending time with family and friends but come mid January price usually has that punch to get back on track as people get back into the markets.

I have seen that Bitcoin is looking too weak, and also volume is also going too much down and also down and that will draw short people to go down more dropped. Let's see what will happen with Ethereum in coming days. I am waiting to buy Ethereum at 500-700 dollars Rnage when it will come.

So what you guys will say if there are some experts. We cannot project anything full clear but we can say that at least technical analysis wouod be great.
Chart markings look good keep it up Smiley and that bottom where price was expected to go apparently did hold up well and looks like market swept all the sell side liquidity around the $1k region and at the time of writing this markets are looking bullish...
2837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 13, 2023, 11:51:28 PM
With the current bullish momentum that the market is showing, looks more like people have missed the  bottom which is not easy to catch... and btw if they aren't lucky won't see this price again anytime soon unless someone out there liquidates a chunk load of coins now to lower prices briefly before the upward trend resumes.
2838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 10:19:22 PM
Looking at how stuffed the lower half of the premier table is looking, at this point all teams in this territory are far from safe, and it was entertaining to watch a match between Villa and Leeds battle it out for a few points away from relegation and Aston Villa as expected managed to hold onto a narrow win which saw them move 10 points clear from the red zone but the drama is certainly far from over as the have played game more than the others.

Tomorrow we shall be looking forward to the Manchester derby which should be a real test of Utds true form.
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 13, 2023, 06:31:49 PM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?
ChatGPT is the talk of the day and imo I would never allow a bot to predict my outcomes because I believe it's predictions wouldn't be any different from how a bookmaker comes up with the odds based on history of the teams, form, injuries etc and we all know that these numbers don't always play out in favor of the favorite team as these games aren't run by some computer program  but by sweat and blood.

At this point people are just being overzealous of this AI and need to get back to reality asap!
2840  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 90% of India's largest crypto exchange funds are in Binance wallet on: January 13, 2023, 01:57:43 PM
Quote
WazirX had $285 million of total user assets, displayed in the form of stablecoin USDT, which is pegged to the U.S. dollar. Of the total user assets, around 92%, or $259.07 million, was held in Binance wallets, with $26.45 million being held in other exchanges.
Is this not a time bomb?? What happens to users who hold btc on the exchange and we have one volatile bull run from say $17k to $50k in a month... how will the exchange payout these portfolio gains when  its owners decide to takeout any profit gains Huh

Secondly, why the hell is an exchange transferring custody to another exchange, is this some kind of memorandum of understanding to be serviced by Binance, do their clients know what's going on?
