2821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Officially Overtakes Bitcoin Cash, Surpasses $51 Billion Market Valuation on: December 28, 2017, 07:47:44 PM
lol at this kind of thread,

what part of when a few people (ripple inc) owns most of the coins and the distribution is so narrow that it makes it easy for collusion and market making it is pointless to even look at the total market cap.

only REAL projects have REAL market cap values.

XRP is one of the most heavy traded coins out there. Period.

It have a real purpose. Its backed by a huge number of big investors.
It will soon be the most decentralized project out there, far more decentralized than Bitcoin.

But just continue your usual bs. Chances are that you still will be making up excuses when Ripple is worth $5, $10 because you thought you understood what Ripple was about.
Just like the "XRP is overvalued" when it was worth $0.20. Yet here we are at $1.50  Cheesy

sshh noob this space is for decentralised trustless projects not that centralised narrowly distributed crap.

If you understood how easy it would be for them to exceed btc's cap tomorrow if they chose or reduce it too dust you would realise the dirt you are discussing next to real projects.

2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MOST IMPORTANT POST FOR NEW INVESTORS - reply and keep on page 1. on: December 28, 2017, 11:45:33 AM
Still I am hearing the same thing about being a good deal because of cheap single token price.

2825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: December 28, 2017, 11:34:37 AM
I strongly recommended someone I know just getting into crypto to put something into Byteball as a high potential/undervalued project.
He put his money into Cardano instead as it's cheaper!  Shocked

They have a nice debit card.
The same from my friends, "So expensive Ill buy a ripple instead its only 1 dollar vs 600".
#

Yup how many times do we have to tell tony to reduce this to megabytes asap?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

With this being ignored and the distributional method specifically knowingly to other icos i have to say it does rock confidence in the project ...

There is no point coding out something superior just to be crushed down because of simple glaring errors like these.

2826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold $NXT in your account and get free $IGNIS on: December 28, 2017, 11:28:44 AM
I choosed to hold NXT, expecting ignis will compensate the nxt losses for long term.
What has been your decision ?
everyone wants to sell his NXT as fast as possible.
noone does research my its own and just asks here how and when to sell
that's too bad. Embarrassed

it seems not many do know, what the NXT platform is for.

details can be found here:
https://www.jelurida.com

bottom line:
EVERY new project set up on the NXT platform has to spend 10% of the new blockchain tokens to existing NXT holders at the time of the snapshot.

my advice: HODL your NXT and buy more if price drops. Wink

ARDOR will not be the last project on NXT so be prepaired for more free tokens.

bad luck for all who do not know this.

this is quite true
2827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC/ETH Wallet hacked ($550k) stolen on: December 28, 2017, 11:08:23 AM
hitbtc should freeze their account until further examination if such evidence is there.

Failure to freeze until further investigation after presentation of such evidence makes them complicit in this theft.

2828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: December 28, 2017, 11:03:09 AM
Can you please include Skycoin?

If you propose it according the format in the OP and it passes all 4 criteria then it can certainly be added. I am not familiar with the project myself.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: December 28, 2017, 08:09:46 AM
Pff, a poll without NEM is not a good poll.

If you wish a project added to the poll it needs to be suggested in the format expressed in the OP.

However nem I think should have a good chance of being added there.

It is already though pretty much a big thing. This poll is to discover things that are yet not a big thing.

If you want nem added then please propose it as expressed in the OP

How about BURST?
That hhd mining, no premine, low marketcap, without ICO

I totally agree with burst.

can you present it to meet the 4 points in the OP for others to examine and analyse to me it meets them all.

I think burst should be added i hope other agree.

2834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA or XRP? on: December 26, 2017, 11:53:12 AM
wow a post thread of zero post noobs and sock puppets talking about 2 highly manipulated projects one a scam that already got fined and one probably going to.

BETTER TO LOCATE SOME REAL PROJECTS AND DO SOME RESEARCH TOO

232 almost a quarter of the way keep the votes coming and the commenting on how you voted. Let's build awareness of the fact that there are only a handful of real projects.

2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2017, 09:04:46 PM
I don't really care if there's escrow or not.  What I do care about is if dev could spare some time to answer questions and give more technical discussion.

This is exactly like the ZETH thread and that ZETH benbtc scammer was quite knowledgeable so his answers correct or not are not guarantee it is not a scam.

Any "donations" that may get in return for them tokens should be escrowed. Why would this not happen if it is not a scam.

1. because he will get more donation if he does use escrow
2. because it irresponsible and sets a bad president on this board which scammers like to monopolise on

2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE thoughts. Good entry point? on: December 25, 2017, 07:26:45 PM

2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: December 25, 2017, 07:05:18 PM
i would add Cardano to that list .. because its the real big thing

I have Cardano too. I bought it after comments I saw on the internet. A detailed analysis could have been really nice.
Everyone says it's potential but there is no detailed research Smiley

Cardano would fail to be added here in my opinion because it does not meet 2 points of the set criteria.

1. it is already a top 10 coin so is already apparently a big thing (according to coinmarketcap)
2. the initial distribution looks a very poor effort to widely distribute and therefore has left it wide open to collusion and market making.

If these 2 points are proven false and if on top of that they do have a fully functioning usable right now core product then we shall together review it again.
2840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: December 25, 2017, 07:02:59 PM
Well I am a relatively new investor in the crypto space and looking more into the criteria mentioned here. this is in fact a very good thread and I chose to post my first response here.

Would we want to consider Power Ledger here? They got a wonderful team working on energy trade on the eth blockchain and have already partnered with a few government organisations.

the use case is impressive in the fact that users get cheaper electricity with no middlemen and transmittal opportunities to places where there's scarcity of electricity. A greener initiative.

They already have working protocols in Perth (Did i mention the chair is Deputy of Perth, Dr Jemma Green)

Looking to expand to Asia and partnered with an entity in Thailand as well as tech mahindra in India.

The ICO structure per my understanding was very fair and didn't really give the whales a chance to pop it up.

They're also the top 10 finalists in the xtreme tech challenge where they'll be presenting to a host of celebrity judges including Richard Branson.

Last but not the least, unconfirmed rumors of Elon Musk supporting the project.

This does seem a very interesting project that if it was fairly distributed as an ico and does indeed have an active dev team that has developed an already functioning core product ... the use case seems very useful too.

Can some others comment on this?? should we add this because I have never heard of it before but if it does meet the 4 points of the criteria then up into the poll it must go.
