I can see several incoming and outgoing transactions in my wallet stuck for like 10-12 hours already. Some of them are even 8-11mb from tip. Why is that? Mempool full?   Cool

Use the Via Bitcoin free transaction accelerator -https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

Thanks, will try!  Cool

Well depends on how much fees you are paying.

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2h

To get the next block you need to pay around 15 sat/B right now. I assume your fees are below 5 sat/B

Dunno, need to check. I always use the fees suggested by the wallet software (I know I know not economical). 99% it works ok and coins are there in like 1-2 hours sometimes even faster. This time transactions are climbing to the tip up to like 1.5-2mb and them back down to ~10mb.  Grin

However, the 2k EUR/day should be more than enough for everybody

You gotta be kidding? 2k/day is defo not enough for hookers/lambo/blow type of lifestyle...  Grin

Bitcoin available in Australia post offices. Smiley

Bitcoin has been available at many post offices in the EU for years -> BTC Post offices

But if you want a real paradise for all crypto lovers come to Croatia and visit BitcoinStore, buy/sell crypto without any ID/KYC in the amount of 15000 HRK (2000 EUR) daily. If even that is not enough, hold your coins for at least 2 years after purchase and pay exactly 0% tax after sale Cool

That's how any coiner should spread the word!  Cool

Sad news... Remember the Wirecard scandal? So one of the oldest prepaid cards on the internet went down in flames today - Payoneer. The card was issued by Wirecard. I owned one since around 2010. RIP  Sad

Not quite, i fear. Beer is free of lactose afaik, but the vanilla icecream most often contains a lot of lactose (since it doesn't crystallize when frozen).

To be clear, it was likely the lactose-containing vanilla ice cream, mixed up with the beer, fermented into the stygian horror that escaped my anus the other day.

I'm still recovering TBH...

I wish you and ur anus to get well soon!  Cool

Some like Proudhon or Kwuckduck can be absolutely hilarious.

The funniest thing is that Proudhon is not actually a real troll, he's an account owned by an OG permabull that ironically posts as a bear troll to amuse himself. The wink-wink giveaway is that his troll posts are always dripping with sarcasm.

I lol every time newbie bulls here jump all over his troll posts, so gullible. They don't even realize that they are being punked.

How true. That's why I find him hilarious.

I sometimes wondered if Kwuckie was the same. He was just too much of a caricature to be taken seriously.

Inspired by this discussion: perhaps we could set up a weekly or monthly poll where we could vote for the funniest/craziest/most retarded/delusional troll of the entire WO thread? We could name it a "Roach Award" or something...  Grin

Some bearish BS

I merited you because you predicted that short time movement pretty spot on, with a local top at ~$9,750 with a subsequent retracement. However, when I look at the longer time frame of your chart, you predict a big drop after breaking the multi year down-trend at ~$10,500. What's your reason to this? A fakeout?

I expect that it will go quite a bit higher if we break $10,500, before any retracement/correction.

Disclaimer: This TA was brought to you by a retarded bear with only purpose to confuse the noobs and trick them into selling right before the parabolic rise up to at least a new ATH. No respected member of WO thread shares his views and/or believes his predictions. Like many other "experts" he picks one of 10 predictions which worked and claims "like I said" or "as I predicted". Also, his "one last down before up" theory... back down to $3k? Laughable...  Grin

Thinking about changing to linux soon. -ish. Before the next windows version, at the latest. Long time e-friend nerd recommended linux mint. Looks user friendly. Anyone using it? Can recommend/not recommend?

If you're planning to go with Linux I'd recommend to stick with the big guys: CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu. They all have decent support, wide choice of GUIs, they're pretty stable and secure. Also less likely to have compatibility issues... in short: avoid exotic distros Cool

This could be big:
https://angel.co/today/stories/wirecard-ceo-resigns-after-banks-say-missing-2-billion-doesn-t-exist-24442

These guys were issuing quite a number of BTC friendly debit cards. Potentially a WaveCrest 2018 crisis returns?  Angry

Hmm I have a bad feeling...   Like something around the corner.  Hope I'm wrong.

HODLers not affected.  Cool

I’ll guess at a top of approx $150,000 then a horrible, multi year bear market again, possibly going as low as $30,000.

Just going from memory, can't be fucked looking it up, but usually the low is around 3x the previous ATH?

It's actually 80-85% down from ATH  Cool

I have a cousin, same age as me (in his 40s), who's eating more or less like Tash describes. He is totally against conventional medicine and into natural remedies, herbs, etc. He's also a vegetarian.

-- Half his teeth have fallen off. Even most of the front ones, but he refuses to go to the dentist (he's against doctors).
-- His Hematocrit (blood HCT) is below normal (around 30~35%).
-- Although he is very fit (he exercises a lot), he looks malnourished and unhealthy.

I'm sure he also has some issues there (you know below the waistline)  Grin

Though I do hope you buy back 1 coin and slowly buy when possible

I will get to 1 full coin. (at least) Not instantly but I will.

Good then your future is set

Not sure about it. To me, it is just another fun lottery ticket.  Grin I stopped being so obsessive with bitcoin or crypto. Chasing some other obsession now.  Grin

Found some other way to keep my brain busy.

So, what is your new obsession? Perhaps we'll just dump BTC and switch to your newer, more profitable investment?  Grin Grin Grin

@mindrust: I'll say this, with good intentions:

I fear that you're going to feel really bad soon... To the point of going insane. Just try to prepare yourself psychologically for this eventuality.

I don't believe I will.

I mean I still got both my arms and legs, didn't get covid19 (yet), got some decent FIAT in my bank, still making money from my work, I don't expect to get struck by lightning soon neither, even though the possibility is not zero.

What if BTC goes to new ATH's? Why would I be mad about it? I already got some exposure there. If it goes up a lot, that's fine. It is free money anyway.

I didn't suicide for not buying btc from $100 even though I saw it exactly at that price. Why now...

No thanks I am fine, hopefully will  keep being fine.

Sounds like youre trying to convince yourself you never needed BTC  Grin

My DCA strategy was going rock solid while I wasn't greedy, the moment my greed took over, It stopped working.

I have a new strategy now...

It will work unless it doesn't. I am not willing to share the results here though.

It was not the strategy that stopped working it was something else that did...  Cool
