2841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How could you find Investors/Funders for gambling website? on: August 02, 2015, 07:18:44 AM
I'd do it via UIA (user issued asset) - sell people shares and promise to pay dividends to them after your site is live. of course, it's not that easy to get investors without any trust.

you can issue assets through Bitshares, NXT, Qora to name some examples.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first bitcoins came from.. (faucets aside) on: August 02, 2015, 05:29:19 AM
I bought my first bitcoin from localbitcoins. And I joined signature campaigns and started to multiply my bitcoins, though lost few of them in Gambling, but recovered in the next. But Signature campaign is the good way to earn bitcoins and today I already have more then 3 BTC in my wallet. So now dreaming to make it 6 as soon as possible. Cheesy

It's very interesting to see that many signature / faucet whatever users tend to gamble. I wonder why?
2843  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: August 02, 2015, 05:25:01 AM
In freebitco, do you earn only from your referral claims or from what they actually earn (multiply, lottery, their own referrals, etc.)?
I think it is only from their clicks, since I have never seen any referral giving me big amounts of satoshis, but maybe I have got lazy referrals only Tongue.

As far as I know you earn 50% from referrals. So if they're unlucky, you win close to nothing Smiley
2844  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 02, 2015, 05:21:54 AM
Never thought about leaving the USA to hide with a few thousand bitcoins?  Wheres the safe haven?  I'm guessing Mexico is pretty safe if you look like a Mexican(not sure what ethnicity he is), but that pasty red head sticks out like a sore thumb.  The light glistening off that glass dildo is bound to get some attention.

Nah, the guy is too dumb to even succeed as a scammer. He's just waiting for an official indictment for major fraud and money laundering, and god only knows what else to do with the hashlet scammery...

Does that mean i can have a refund on my hashlet?
Haha, joking...

I don't know, do you know where he is? It's a bit hard to grab his ass if he's on some tropical place sipping martini with no extradition treaty where money is the law. I mean, they make it look so easy on White Collar (TV Serie) Wink

Last thing I read here said he's in the US, Texas. Not sure though. Doubt he can afford to move around btw
2845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good places to Invest My Bitcoins? on: August 01, 2015, 07:09:06 PM

2846  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is multisig.pw safe or scam? on: August 01, 2015, 02:23:48 PM
I prefer bitrated.com as escrow... one of the best services to use in my opinion
2847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn bitcoin ..?? on: August 01, 2015, 12:50:20 PM
easiest way is to join a signature campaign here.

other than that, sell stuff on sites like cryptothrift.

faucets are a waste of time by the way.
2848  Economy / Services / Re: [Service] [CHEAP] Article Writing for your site! on: August 01, 2015, 09:20:14 AM
do you have any showcase articles? are you comfortable with writing about crypto space?
2849  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Directory.io - Now with balances! on: August 01, 2015, 07:31:30 AM
So this is like all the addresses that exist?  I wonder if anyone has found something and just kept quiet about it? This is pretty crazy.

that's what I wonder too... are there addresses with a balance? does this site snipe them before posting them?

2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT (AT) vs Ethereum (Where is the Future)? on: August 01, 2015, 07:06:41 AM
NXT doesn't have AT yet and Ethereum isn't even released yet.
Qora has AT for months now.

ethereum is already released as of yesterday....

Interesting that Qora has all those features too. But I don't even see a community for it. The forum isn't even working... https://forum.qora.org/ --- without a community following its not going to stick. Also the marketing is another issue, which is what nxt has a problem with. Ethereum on the other hand does have that down i must admit. NXT has it going for them at the moment because of an active community and active developers. no matter how cool of a thing you make, if no one knows about it it aint going to fly. I'd imagine in the early days of facebook, there were so many similar options. It's just the aha moment when the public starts using it for something. we're still waiting for the holy grail app on these platforms...

ethereum is just a live testnet at this point, can't talk about a real release in my opinion.

Ethereum has a bagholderbase just due to their presale, does that count for a strong community?

anyways, there's a nice hangout with the Qora dev if you're interested https://beyondbitcoin.org/bonus-hangout-qora-vrontis-ciyam/
2852  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR on: August 01, 2015, 07:04:01 AM
Just for the record - those sold usernames and passwords are being used again. Someone initiated password reset for my Bitcointalk account 2 days ago - I've stopped that in time. However, I did a stupid thing and had the same password on cloudminr and one other site, and they actually did a mess there (no further losses luckily), but I've managed to stop further actions.

So please all cloudminr customers CHANGE your passwords everywhere if you had the same pass there and on other sites...if it's not too late.

yeah, make sure to use lastpass or some other password manager for crap site like cloudminr. let is create a password and save it.
2853  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 01, 2015, 06:53:48 AM

It is pretty funny to go back and look over some of the GAW propaganda from the early days. I am sad though so far about the way things turned out, especially with Garza. I know there is still time for him to get what he deserves, but its sad that he was able to get away for this long with so much of our money. I don't buy into the claims that he blew all his money and is living poorish now. I wish we could do some form of research to pinpoint a close range of how much he really was able to get away with.

their public relations / propaganda wasn't that bad to be honest. good enough to lure a lot of people in
2854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: July 31, 2015, 05:42:30 PM
you either earn or get them for free. however, faucets, signature campaigns etc are all ways of earning bitcoin. they never come free
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: July 31, 2015, 02:33:27 PM
Could we please have more details on "Integrate Qora to Bitshares?" poll? I am sure most people don't know what exactly this means since there is not much information about it and what it could mean to Qora. I am one of these people and I cannot vote while some minimal more information isn't available.

BitShares will implement AT one day in the future, then it will be easy to have ACCT with BitShares.

However, that is quite a ways off from what Dan has stated publicly to date.

I believe this vote was to see if the Qora Community wanted to put Qora on the BitShares 2.0 chain as a bitAsset which would allow it to be traded with anything on BTS 2.0 exchange.

Maybe I have it wrong, fav can you clarify?

yep, the voting is just to see if qora holders are interested in working something out. there's no specific proposal yet
2856  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELL] 2Gram Bitgold on: July 31, 2015, 12:55:29 PM
Rate: 1gr bitgold = 0.1 BTC.

I have 2gr bitgold.
I don't think bitgold has any value at all, look at this thread proving they are a scam here

read this thread. there's no proof of them scamming. in fact, it looks like said OP got scammed by his "friend" - I don't think BitGold is legit, but your link proofs nothing.
2857  Economy / Services / Re: [GoldenBitcoin.com] Partnership Affiliate Program - Earn Bitcoins via Gold Coins on: July 31, 2015, 12:41:22 PM
We just started this online website and it will be further developed if there is a market for it online such as our offline market or atleast the half of it. What is important here as a gold coins investor is the... Gold! The real Goldmen will value our gold and services.

We have limited collections that are not produced anymore and I am brave to declare that we can afford to offer great competetive prices and availability much more than Perth Mint for example due to our international partnerships. Check our Image gallery and the message I hand for the pseudo Gold investors on this forum. The real businessmen will appresciate our Gold.

Anyways...

On the topic - Locked Discount coupon code is added  on the website that you can use to attract sales from your promoting offers. This seems to be a great way to earn affiliate commissions as it is a proven marketing strategy - check Affiliate area for tips and more. Proactivity and creativity are keys!

Dear partners,

If you have any questions you can email me or call me without hesitation. This is a Win/Win/Win situation. We expect our benefitial partnership to become golden.

P.S. The haters can lick my Gold a$$.

very professional. makes you a lot more trustworthy to tell interested customers to lick your "Gold a$$".

Good luck with your next attempt to scam here.
2858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT (AT) vs Ethereum (Where is the Future)? on: July 31, 2015, 12:33:08 PM
hard to say at this point.

NXT is established and working. Eth is nothing but a testnet at this point
2859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: July 31, 2015, 12:23:18 PM
you cannot trust any centralized exchange. fortunately, some are working on the centralized part. https://bitshares.org/blog/2015/06/16/danish-firm-set-to-revolutionize-cryptocurrency-industry/ Exchange CCEDK for example, they will move to a decentralized model soon
