Wall observer

....possibly gaining some exposure because these folks learn that you have coins and also might learn too much about your personal details and your possible bitcoin hodlings, and gosh we likely have to take additional precautions regarding how much we expose ourselves and our coins.. and even if it might be inconvenient to NOT store too many coins in such a way such as on local bitcoins or some of the wallets that we might use in our trading?

Hmm if only there was something a little bit more  private and flexible etc.

Ah well, now that you ask, there is. If you point your browser over here , https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.0 ,you will find something that is a bit more private and, well maybe not flexible, but more private at least - or so they say.

Can you explain it a bit in more detail for a newbie? How is NiceHash influencing the nethash? Are people jumping from coin to coin?

They sell bulk hashing power, somebody probably bought a large amount of cryptonight and pointed it at XMR for a short time.

Probably nicehash.

British mission to giant A-68 berg approved

"UK scientists will lead an international expedition to the huge new iceberg that recently calved in the Antarctic.

A-68, which covers an area of almost 6,000 sq km, broke away in July.
Researchers are keen to investigate the seafloor uncovered by the trillion-tonne block of ice. Previous such ventures have discovered new species.
The British Antarctic Survey has won funding to visit the berg and its calving zone in February next year.
It will use the Royal Research Ship James Clark Ross."

I was hoping they would send Boaty McBoatface

How much curvature is a 60002 km iceberg suppose to have?

edit:

I made the following info-graphic:

That's 4.65 miles of curvature!
2847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 on: October 11, 2017, 10:49:04 PM
v10.0 BETA:

- now miner uses the latest framework which is used for dual and zec miners. Therefore several new options are available.
- new assembler GPU kernels are used.
- added "-dmem" options that can improve performance in many cases. Note that twice more GPU memory is used in this mode.
- some old options were removed, some were renamed, please read Readme for detailed information and samples.
- reduced devfee, it's 1% now if you use secure SSL/TLS connection, 1.5% for unsecure connection.
- devfee mining is executed every hour, similar to dual and zec miners.
- a lot of minor improvements.

PS. Linux version will be available in a day.

After two weeks of waiting patiently...

Hi Calymore,
Do you have any ETA on version for linux ? Smiley
My users are waiting for Your release Smiley and many other part of the word Smiley

One of the standards of the past, that shows that the earth isn't flat, but that it is rather spherical, is that of sailing ships.

On a rather calm yet breezy day, get out to the ocean. Through a telescope, watch a sailing ship coming in towards land. At a great distance away, only the topmost parts of the masts are visible on the horizon. As the ship approaches, more of the masts become visible. Finally, as the ship is reasonably close, the whole of the ship that is above water becomes visible.

Smiley

This is the best reply. You can do the same thing at sunset over a clear horizon; when you squat down the sun appears to have sety but once you stand up you'll see more of the sun, thus proving the earth is round because your height is enough to allow you to see further over the horizon...

Moron, the horizon rises to eye level increasing the distance you can view objects. Anybody who belives that ships sail over the curve is a total fucking retard.

Dingbat. The horizon never rises to meet anything. The moon rises. The sun rises. The horizon just sits there.

Hang a plumb line. Then, stand and look straight ahead, horizontally, 90 degrees to the plumb line. Or use a transit. On level ground or water, the horizon never meets the center of the eye, or the center, horizontal line of the transit. The only reason the eye sees the horizon from this position is peripheral vision.

Of course, not batman. Battyman.

Cool

You're so Jewish with your argument, you're not addressing the point while exploiting the fact every eye/camera sees a different horizon just like everybody sees a different rainbow or different speckles to move the goal posts. Great, you've gone and proved we all see a different horizon due to the angle the light enters but that's not the fucking point; the ship doesn't go over the curve asshole.

The fact you about how the angle light enters the eye effects the horizon you see makes you so guilty too.

How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is?

https://i.imgur.com/O8IpMmi.jpg

I have actually read an article that the earth is not really flat. And it is scientifically proven. Don't you see NASA's program where they capture pictures of EARTH from space? It's really a sphere but not a perfect one. It looks like a deformed sphere at all.

Yes I see the liars and hoaxers at NASA and they're full of shitty CGI images. BTW do you have a reading comprehension problem?

You still haven't explained how perspective stops lighting from reaching us when you claim the sun is so close, you always ignore things that you can't answer, why are you like this, you might have a real problem, go get checked bro.

I'm sorry that you believe the oncoming train is the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm sorry that you are comparing the lights from a train from the light from the sun, are you dumb? You cannot explain why the sun is not visible everywhere, you are a fraud.

You can't explain why the light at the end of the tunnel isn't visible throughout the entire length of a perfectly straight tunnel, if you could you'd have the answer you're looking for. You just fucking ignorant piece of crap, you're probably a shill and I don't appreciate the false accusation of dishonesty. You got anything else besides libel you turd?

#1 - That's a fucking bowl, it's not flat; the Bible says God stretched a flat and level line across the Earth during its construction. -- Job 38:5

You're about as gravitationally compromised (dense) as they come. Did you ever see anyone stretch a measuring line across something? Look at the cross-country power lines. They sag, like a bowl. Your rendering of the Bible passage in Job doesn't have anything to do with flat. It has to do with God's ability, alone, to measure the earth, whatever its shape. Take a look at some of the Job versions of the passage you quote. No "flat" in them:
New International Version
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?

New Living Translation
Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line?

English Standard Version
Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?

New American Standard Bible
Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it?

King James Bible
Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Who fixed its dimensions? Certainly you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?

International Standard Version
Who set its measurement? Am I to assume you know? Who stretched a boundary line over it?

NET Bible
Who set its measurements--if you know--or who stretched a measuring line across it?

New Heart English Bible
Who determined its measures, if you know? Or who stretched the line on it?

GOD'S WORD® Translation
Who determined its dimensions? Certainly, you know! Who stretched a measuring line over it?

JPS Tanakh 1917
Who determined the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who stretched the line upon it?

New American Standard 1977
Who set its measurements, since you know?

Jubilee Bible 2000
Who ordered its dimensions, if thou knowest? Or who has stretched the line upon it?

King James 2000 Bible

Cool

Show me where does it say the dome was polarized before the water was removed? Without the polarization there is no up and down and nothing to push on God's stretched out measuring line.

Show me where the measuring line was a bungie cord. You can stretch anything unless it is elastic.

The point? The meaning is that God does it in ways that people cannot fathom. It doesn't have anything to do with the shape.

Cool

Also how would you raise a dome without inflating it? My theory is God heated and softened the domes nickel-iron steel via magnetic induction and inflated the dome. When the magnetic flux was removed an electrically polarized reflective oxide layer was left on the interior of the domes hardened surface.

I'll have to give it some thought as to what God used as a measuring line, whatever it was clearly had "tension". Tension is also used as a term for voltage from polarized surfaces and the electric field is linear in nature. God would defiantly have the most technologically advanced surveying equipment in existence.

God uses things other than technology, even though He can use anything.

Cool

How could he use anything other than technology to engineer and build the Earth? Maybe you think God just made a giant wish and it came true?

You use all this wonderful ability to think, just to determine that the earth is flat, but you can't think about how God is way beyond technology?

Consider simple cause and effect. Science knows that cause and effect plays a role in everything that they have discovered. The also know that they have not factually found anything that does not operate through cause and effect... although they have their guesses about some things.

Knowing this, select an electron that was set in place in the beginning by God. God sent this electron out so that it reacts with other things in the universe... sorta like a pool shark hits that cue ball. That electron hits other material, and goes on to do whatever it is going to do next by bouncing off the other material, and making a change to the other material at the same time.

Now, consider that God did that with countless chunks of material all over the universe, and with the energy waves, as well. Some thousands of years later, all this bumping around is still producing life in abundance, people in abundance, intelligence in abundance, emotion in abundance, and all kinds of other things in abundance. And you want to call this technology? Try throwing a handful of sand in the air and getting this kind of reactivity.

It's so far beyond technology that technology is like a microbe in the microscope. Technology is something that man invented to try to make sense of the things that God made without technology. God is allowing us to have some success, a tiny, little bit. We aren't capable of understanding what God did and does. The closest that we can come is to listen to what He is telling us.

The Job passage you mentioned says nothing about flat earth.

Cool

Stretch a measuring line across a sphere, for heavens sake no. God speaks of constriction and straight level lines he's not built a magic sphere with his mind, that's the devil that's gone and done that. You really need to piss off with you mythical magical bullshit, you're a crypto-jew!
