Ok thank you. Should I delete all the files then run new wallet and install the seed? Find and save *.keys file! Better with him to restore the wallet!

I don't understand ... but this version is different. I did backup all the files. If I get the old one running again ... is there a restore to click? Thx New to this type of wallet .. been mining 4 years too. EDIT: I reinstalled the old wallet .. waiting for it to fully sync for now. I downloaded the wrong wallet. Got it now...sorry for the inconvenience.

Trying to install new wallet GUI..and not sure how backup my old wallet. There is no wallet.dat file. Any help plz? Running windows 64 bit. Thx You can either restore the wallet with the .keys file + its password or the 25 word mnemonic seed. Note that, on Windows, you can find the .keys file in Documents\Monero.

Has the GUI window scaling issue on low-resolution displays (i.e. a netbook's maximum screen resolution of 1024 x 600) been resolved in the latest GUI release? Pardon me as I haven't been regularly following this thread since I brought it up a couple of months ago.
I'd suggest to try it out and if it doesn't work properly for you, please open an issue on Github (or post it here and I'll add it to Github).

Is it odd that a block explorer would show (exact) transaction amount as the sum of fees for the block in question? I mean, how likely is that?
Could you link to the specific block?

Should I have on my tin foil hat? Producing cryptographic keys generally is cpu intensive. You should have had that on a few cpu generations back. Backdoors abound in all sorts of hardware.

There was already an issue thread on Github which I added onto. Since it is still "Open", I assume that it hasn't been resolved...or has it? https://github.com/monero-project/monero-core/issues/754

Issues sometimes remain open even if solved, because no one simply closed it. Could you check by downloading GUI v0.11.0.0?

If that is the case than cryptocurrencies will provide the greatest bug bounties ever for that sort of thing. Seems like they wont last long in a world where cryptocurrencies have gone even semi mainstream. Bonus value.

Cool, these days the price goes up, is this because there is an impact of the bitcoin hardfork issue so many users are diverting to altcoin including Monero?

There is a separate Monero thread for price related chat: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.0

Wall observer ....possibly gaining some exposure because these folks learn that you have coins and also might learn too much about your personal details and your possible bitcoin hodlings, and gosh we likely have to take additional precautions regarding how much we expose ourselves and our coins.. and even if it might be inconvenient to NOT store too many coins in such a way such as on local bitcoins or some of the wallets that we might use in our trading?
Hmm if only there was something a little bit more private and flexible etc.

Why is the network hash rate going up and down so often by almost 25% within a few hours?
