https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303898.20\ So BCNext wrote this: "Oh, BTW, don't send big amounts, please. If someone owns very big stake of coins this can lead a proof-of-stake currency to failure." (and then "big amounts" were considered decimals of BTC). But somehow the FACT that 10 wallets (who could be the same individual or very few) own almost 300 million coins is not a "distribution" nor technical problem... Read the whole thread. On second or third page, the max was fixed to 1 BTC. Everything is in public record. How the coins were distributed is also public and variable as you can see the hashes on blockchain info and coins were distributed accordingly and verifiably. It was fairest IPO as the developer's stake were zero. And rules were same for everyone -- no exceptions for the developer. Once again, that is, 1.- if you believe the developer. It's a hard one but ok. You believe him, I won't. But, if it was true, it was a MONUMENTAL mistake and counter totally to his initial purpose. Regardless... the resulting fact is that a few people got an insane amount of coins, situation that remains now, which is EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what his initial intent was and the inevitable consequence is the permanente manipulation of the market as those with the millions of coins dump them at will upon the market. Never mind that they make of "forging" a ridiculous mockery. we all know this argument. we all feel the same way you do about it. some of us however feel that some of the other advantages outweigh this legitimate criticsm. however if you do not than you are totally welcome to that opinion. if you dont like it than just dont buy any nxt. ezpz As I have stated repeatedly, I will not beyond the very few I got initially that I will liquidate, for profit, any moment now. ok.......? cool story?

This is a giveaway thread for "1 Troy Ounce 999 Silver Bullion Warehouse Receipt Tokens". Yes these can be used to acquire real physical silver bullion. These assets are listed on the NXT asset exchange so you will need to download the NXT client. It can be found here http://nxt.org/client-download/The amount given will be based on factors like, whether i know you, your activity, the quality of your posts, ect... but there is no formula, its all down to my own subjective interpretation of these factors and what i feel like sending. I am giving away real silver here that costs quite a bit of money. This is not like a random alt coin made for free by changing a few lines of code. I have to actually buy the silver to keep as reserve or send in the mail if people request payout. Also there is likely to be a HUGE demand. What this means is that I will have to be highly discriminatory. People with small post count and low quality posts will probably not get more than a very small amount while reputable hero members may get as much as a quarter of an ounce. Those in the middle, senior members, and full members with a history of good quality posts will probably get between 1 - 5 grams. Also this is all going to have to do with how much interest there is. The more requests the less I will be able to send to each user. If you want more information read the asset description for asset id 7819056276221630295 and since it wont be simple to look up aliases until the next client release, ill go ahead and tell you that SilverTerms links to radicalmoney.com/silverterms and the alias SilverDetails links to radicalmoney.com/silverdetails. With that said goodluck and feel welcome to sell what I send to you on the asset exchange. I won't take it as an insult and it wont hurt my feelings in the slightest. but many more continue adding coins by forging massive amounts
no the total NXT in circulation does not increase. The money supply is constant. -bm So those people with 40-50 million coins, they don't forge more? they do forge BLOCKS and they get the TX FEES as payment for doing so. So the NXTs only circulate from USERS to STAKEHOLDERS via transaction fees. it's quite different than Bitcoin. -bm I understand that but, assuming they havent sold a single coin, a guy with 50 million would have considerably more than 50 million nby forging right now, right? no it would be a drop in the bucket compared to 50million nxt.

only a couple hundred people showed up to their Beijing bitcoin conference. We've easily had 2-3X that many attendees at any ONE of the MANY bitcoin conferences here in the U.S. in just the last year alone. If there were really that many more Chinese bitcoiners than the rest of the world, there should have been at least a few thousand in attendance in Beijing. Probably not smart to compare turnout in Communist China under a government that has named specific people, and warned them not to attend ...... to .... a conference in the USA. Pretty sure attendance would be down significantly if people felt their jobs or livelihoods might be at risk just for showing up. -B- china is not communist

What are "warehouse receipts"?
From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warehouse_receipt - A warehouse receipt is a document that provides proof of ownership of commodities (e.g., bars of copper) that are stored in a warehouse, vault, or depository for safekeeping. And you said that they can return the physical silver bar to you at any time and receive a warehouse receipt. Does this mean that once they buy from you, they will own either physical silver or a warehouse receipt (a claim on silver) and you will not exchange that receipt or the silver for NXT (or any other virtual or fiat currency)? Edit: It's late and I need to sign off. I hope I have helped you. I think it's a very interesting asset, and one I might use myself. You have it right. However they will be able to get nxt for their receipt from someone other than me by placing a sell order or filling a buy order on the asset exchange.

many revisions later. tell me if you think this is getting closer. Each of these tokens is a warehouse receipt for one troy ounce of 999 fine silver payable to the bearer on demand. In order to receive physical silver bullion in exchange for a token the bearer must send to NXT address 6940620385974416496 an arbitrary message containing his/her mailing address and an amount of tokens greater than or equal to ten and divisible by ten. Both the tokens and the arbitrary message must be sent from the same NXT address. Bars in good shape and issued by me may be returned to me for full credit in warehouse receipts. - For more information visit http://radicalmoney.com/silvergateway - The act of purchasing an amount of this product shall constitute the expression of agreement to the terms and conditions expressed at http://radicalmoney.com/silverterms

comments on my description Send an arbitrary message containing your real world physical address in addition to an amount of tokens greater than 10 and divisible by 10 to NXT address 6940620385974416496 in order to receive the corresponding amount of physical silver in the form 999 silver bars. Be sure to send both the message and the tokens from the same NXT address. Bars returned in good shape may be exchanged for full credit in warehouse receipts at any time. any way you think i could make it simpler or less confusing while still communicating the same information would be helpful. also i need to do everything i can to keep it brief so thats why so much information is packed so tightly. Here is my suggestion. Break it down into individual bites/steps like this: Send an arbitrary message containing these two pieces of data: Your real world physical address An amount of tokens greater than 10 and divisible by 10 Send the arbitrary message to: NXT address 6940620385974416496 Then you will receive: The corresponding amount of physical silver in the form 999 silver bars Be sure to send both the message and the tokens from the same NXT address. Bars returned (where? how? to whom?) in good shape may be exchanged for full credit in warehouse receipts at any time. thanks for the advise. I don't think I can do spaces. that's kind of scary that i have to put in a location for people to send to. its so permanent. what if i move ten years from now, what if the post office moves to a new location. i could put a url for details but what if i lose my domain name someday for unforeseen reasons. Don't worry about spaces. Just break up the block of text so that each step is discrete. As for your return address, you don't need to specify it now. You can just say "to me," or "to the asset issuer" or something so that it's clear what you mean by "return." Also, in place of "physical address" what about "physical (mailing) address" instead so that people understand that this is for their package delivery? ah ha mailing address is defiantly an improvement!
