I am all in on qtum page devs or team members can you plz share the BTC add on which you have collected or store all the fund .....
The fund is in a black box! It's safe, if you believe in the team. Yes, believe in the team that said prior to the ICO that they would be transparent, then went silent after the ICO. Remember BFL needing to do pre-sales so that they could build their line of miners because they didn't have the money themselves? Well, guess what? They had $25M+ in their coffer when they were crying that they were broke thanks to ... wait for it ... info provided via the blockchain. Here's why Qtum won't release any blockchain vitals: Because they're yellow! also why you are still here? i think you find a better job now? Translated: Go fuck yourself! Obviously, you don't have a motherfuckin clue as to why I'm here so, again, go fuck yourself! For those not assholes playing at home, let's recap: Prior to the ICO, Qtum promised full transparency. After supposedly garnering $15M+, all transparency has been taken off the table after the ICO ended. For those who are assholes, what part of "you've been fuckin lied to" don't you understand?

<apple stoning Vlad> https://scalingbitcoin.org/transcript/hongkong2015/invertible-bloom-lookup-tables-and-weak-block-propagation-performanceWe will talk about block propagation and how it can be improved with IBLT and weak blocks. I will start by talking about invertible bloom lookup tables (IBLT). This was originally proposed by gavinandresen and Michael T. Goodrich and Michael Mitzenmacher wrote an 2011 paper about this. Now pay attention ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_MitzenmacherMitzenmacher’s research covers the design an analysis of randomised algorithms and processes. With Eli Upfal he is the author of a textbook Mitzenmacher & Upfal (2005) on randomized algorithms and probabilistic techniques in computer science. His Ph.D. thesis was on the analysis of simple randomised load balancing schemes. He is a leading expert in hash function applications such as Bloom filters, cuckoo hashing, and locality-sensitive hashing. His work on min-wise independence gives a fast way to estimate similarity of electronic documents, and is used in internet search engines. Mitzenmacher has also worked on erasure codes and error-correcting codes.

Gleb, too much to quote on your last post. Sooooo... ASIC resistant? Garbage. With the money bankers and the Chinese have it's a matter of maybe 6 months. Memory intensive? Like crap script? For which I will make Charlie Lee and Litecoin Pay for DEARLY cause he robbed the mastermind behind Tenebrix without paying the real genius dev the credit he deserves. And what's with the bold print on Luke Jr? You believe the latest reddit gossip that a fanatic, Maxwell and Back are Satoshi or what? It's best you get on the BU side before you get rekt, son! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The only thing I bolded in that diatribe was -> Cuckoo cycle is one of the most ASIC-resistant Proof-of-Work algorithms. For some reason they're pushing the technology.

I just design the PoW. It's up to other people to launch new coins that use it:-)
They should go with a relatively long block interval though (10min), so they can increase the memory requirement to 4GB or more (where running a single instance takes over a minute).
I'm also a proponent of fixed rewards, since the rate of lost coins is a probably a few percent, so even a fixed reward coin can't remain inflationary for long.
Translated: Here's the results of what my employer, RenTec, allows me to do on my spare time - created a new algo for the crypto space and give it to them for free so that they can use my new algo in creating new coins where ... wait for it ... my employer with their super-duper signal machine thingy will trade said coins once they hit the exchanges that they may or may not control themselves. BRB, for I got to go and check how my Medallion Fund is doing. Back, as in Adam. It's doing swell. Thanks for asking. WTF dude, you got any proof of this? If these guys were for real you think they'd let Dr. Wright and the Chinese miners take over and destroy their plans? I call BS. Their yearly bonus alone could sink the Chinese miners yet I see no opposition. I think this is Bitcoin Core propaganda preparing to hire these guys are a credible plausible replacement/stand-in for Satoshi in an attempt to shut down Dr. Wright. At least leave Mercer out of it; I don't like hunting down like minded spirits. Rule #1: We are not here to debate against PoW change-- this thread is for people who have already decided to help with a PoW change of some kind. It is, however, acceptable (and desirable) to debate exactly what kind of PoW fork, based on data, testing, exploit discovery, etc. Developer Resources Media, Essays Claims Worth Testing (pm me if you would like to recommend edits to this list) [ BrCoh1] Cuckoo cycle is one of the most ASIC-resistant Proof-of-Work algorithms.Social Raison D'être Bitmain is close to having de facto control of a great majority of the network hashrate: "Bitmain, one of bitcoin’s biggest miners with a current hash-share of around 15% of the network, is to launch a new giant mining facility this December with 45 rooms, independent substations, offices and a total size of 140,000 kilowatts. By some calculations, that translates to around 45% of the network hash-share, but it is not clear whether the new facilities are simply for a relocation or to accommodate additional mining power." [ Quentson, A. (2016, February 11). " Bitmain to Launch a Giant New Bitcoin Mining Center". CryptoCoinsNews.] This poses the risk of: - transaction censorship ("PBoC does not approve of your transaction, so Bitmain has their pools exclude it from blocks") - double-spend attacks (if Bitmain is not motivated by mining profits (as a KnC miner executive once speculated) because e.g. their real profits come from a ChinaGov paycheck), then they will happily destroy the value of Bitcoin's network by executing double-spend attacks. Recommended Discussion Guidelines Given the urgency of settling these issues in order to protect Bitcoin's prime reputation and its adoption rate, I offer the following recommended ranking of types of communications on this thread, starting with the most valuable at (1): (1) Empirical data - Tests, competitive benchmarks between PoW algorithms when merged with Bitcoin codebase, accurate descriptions of vulnerabilities/exploits with sample code. (2) Analysis of data - Identification and further extrapolation of patterns in data, technical critique of methods used in tests, model-based predictions of outcomes of tests (if the tests themselves are too resource/labor intensive to actually carry out) (3) Interpretation of results - Discussion (with proof/justification) of what the results and analysis of the tests will mean for the Bitcoin market cap, decentralization, censorship-resistance, and any new vulnerabilities. (4) Broader discussion - Including discussion of businesses related to Bitcoin, quotes by notable personalities relevant to Bitcoin, regulations and other activities of governments with respect to Bitcoin, and what implications these things have for the PoW project. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJY1fjOAAoJECXDNTkzG2QGfcoIAJEp1+LmBom2ZDAEC13PeIdH 8V9w6bP0/dRe2lcrwU5bOSCZHrzqI7JOCUC28KMXrt3RvHUdtuwcnoPpS3Rebaub +5BloS+OEwSNDb5qvLIJX7dp38GYKThK/Kw70r5/NS+Vh1VMCwZyWd+BLjoMSnmw QyNZOLSVk9bR7WShxdq0aj4ADGAPhTwBey0/R9CfHZOlQzWHQIVwmOXShOBfDI1O ENomlu9k1b1fPf5U5V8Zg3rEyPU0nfWLSGjNqwGNeRuofob61XCFfYGHopyPdmRP cliCCXg1R236sJICFjYJ/c/+gyzw9cxRXwwXseJ/ik2wM/5dl9rzgnQp4TmnNB8= =fBZw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- It's worth exploring since it is a more palatable "non-emergency" solution. As for the current fork, be it HF or SF, I like the idea of a memory intensive POW. It would indeed remove China's hardware monopoly -- and subsidized electricity can be found in many countries.

Here's the same white paper on Adam Back's site: http://www.hashcash.org/papers/cuckoo.pdfHere's John Tromp: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=207304I'd employ a different proof-of-work that doesn't provide much benefit to GPUs/ASICs, but rather depends on many gigabytes of memory (just for generating, not for verifying)
Well, that's what I'm trying to design right now:)
-John
Wanna take a guess on how many times John posted during normal working hours in NY while employed at Renaissance Technologies? Are you ready for the Adam Back connection besides Hashcash et al.? Meanwhile, some facts: John Mercer hates the Fed. Bitcoin is just an experiment. Any questions? Oh, and here's the NDA them crypto dudes would've had to abide my by [edit; see timestamp as to when]: If asked if you're Satoshi Nakamoto, honestly reply with a no if alluded to being a singe entity. If asked if you're part of Team Satoshi Nakamoto, reply with a lie - NO! Teacher: Any questions? Crypto Dude: Hey, when do I stop posting as SN? Teacher: When we introduce WikiLeaks being a hornets nest. Crypto Dude: What's a WikiLeaks? Teacher: Just something we created to control the signals of which we here at RenTec profit from.

Reads to me like you and Leroy Fodor went to the exact same university. Did you also earn a B.B.A.? I dont know who a Leroy Fodor is but I did read a thread about you being a raciest. Was that thread ture? If you read a thread about me being a raciest, then it's true. I can't deny what you read. Please link the thread so that I can verify. BTW, what does me being a raciest have to do with this thread? Its just I dont trust anything that comes out of a raciests mouth. Let me try and find the thread. I don't trust people who have a SIG here that says.. ICO investor. Miner. Bagholder Extraordinaire! But i can do the diversion thing too.. nice avatar LOL No seriously ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I wish those were my hands ! But in all fairness why should anyone care what a random noob here thinks ? I know the Gamow.. i don't know you. I just PM'ed the raciestists to see if he had any luck finding that tread about me being a raciest. I'm pretty sure that he's gonna come up empty-handed because I'm pretty sure I never shared my love for being a raciest anywhere on the Internet so am taken aback that he was versed that I am. Luckily for him, a raciest like myself hold no grudges toward those who uncover those who are raciest, again, like myself, albeit we do have issues with those who are raciestists. Hey, I wonder is Psy is up to making me a "I is Raciest" badge so to wear during our next convention sponsored by The Legends Room.

Besides, I have rules, I only stalk single never been married Amazonian chicks.

Did you miss it? That's Rebekah Mercer. Didn't miss it at all. But you added another puzzle piece [with that fortress bit] and you know 3+ pieces confuse me. How 'bout a forth piece? https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/01/no-one-knows-what-the-powerful-mercers-really-want/514529/Bob Mercer, 70, is an enigmatic figure who has a reputation for rarely speaking publicly. Nearly everyone spoken to for this story used some variation of the word “brilliant” to describe him. There’s a touch of eccentricity, too; “I know a couple things you can bond with Bob Mercer over is he hates the Federal Reserve and loves model trains,” said one Republican operative who has worked on Mercer-backed initiatives. (Mercer once sued a model train manufacturer, alleging that he was overcharged for a model train set installed in Owl’s Nest, his expansive Long Island estate). Would it surprise you to learn that the train outfit Mercer sued is directly connected to Satoshi Dorien Nakamoto and his train get-up in California?

Nardone, co-founder and COO of Fortress Investment Group, and his wife, Melani, sold their apartment at the Heritage at Trump Place at 240 Riverside Boulevard for $9 million to Sylvain Mirochnikoff and his wife, Xena Warrior Princess actress Rebekah Mercer. The “sprawling” open-floor-plan, river-view four-bedroom was listed by Corcoran’s David Chang. Mr. Mirochnikoff, an exotic equity derivatives trader at Morgan Stanley, and Ms. Mercer currently own the apartment above the Nardones’ double-unit condo, which would suggest the couple plan to combine the two floors.
