Should we expect 3rd inning collapse on 5th day turning deck?
Bangladesh will have the opportunity to win the match if it happens. Sri Lanka has already lost their first two wickets. Everything will depend on the middle order batsmen of Sri Lanka. Their middle order batsman has batted very well in the first innings. So, I'm not expecting to see significant changes in the fall of wickets on day 5. 90 overs of play remains and at this point the Lankans are trailing by 29 runs. I don't think that enough time is available to bowl out Sri Lanka and then for the Bangladeshis to chase down the target. And as I posted even before the match started, it is going to be yet another boring draw. 5 days of play, and still there is no result. And remember that there was no rain interruption as well. I would wait till the end of today's play, but what is the point of having such matches? Hardcore cricket fans will watch these matches. But for how long? Srilanka is not trailing anymore but they have a lead of 60 runs for now. I think this match will be a draw as it is the final day. If srilanka declares their inning then it would be very easy for Bangladesh to chase only 60 runs therefore they will bat till the end of the day and draw the first test match. |

What a game from Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders. LSG scored 210 runs without losing a wicket. KKR played marvelous innings, but the middle order game from Andre Russell made mistake increasing the required run rate. Finally Rinku played the best and turned the game towards them. It was bad luck for KKR, because Rinku lost the wicket to the bowling of Stonis and caught by Lewis which is an unexpected one. Losing after a hard fight on a small margin is really sad.
No one expected such close game today. I thought Kolkata will loss the match by at least 20 runs. Lucknow had set a big target. de Kock has played a magnificent innings for LSG. Kolkata is eliminated now. Lewis deserve the credit for this victory of Lucknow. He took a great catch of Rinku Singh in the last over. KKR would have won the match if he missed that difficult catch. Absolutely amazing match between KKR and LSG. I thought also that KKR would lose the match against LSG because total run was high to chase. But it was so close to win the natch for KKR. Both teams played very well. de Kock you're beauty, A great innings from de Kock. Last over and last 5 balls were like a roller coaster. At one moment I felt KKR would win but after Rinku Singh got out I knew LSG has taken over the game. I never thought it would be easy for KKR to chase such a huge target, thanks to de kock who contributed 140 runs out of 210 set by LSG as the target. Sometimes you do feel sorry for the other teams and in this game I felt sorry for KKR. |

I am a teacher by profession and think of this interesting action plan to teach the concept of Bitcoin to our primary kids (10-11) in their early stages.
Interesting way to get kids closer to bitcoin learning by introducing them to bitcoin wallet rather than the concept of ‘piggy bank’.
It would be easy for them to correlate to bitcoin as a new type of digital money.
We parent then find it easy to teach them the concept of bitcoin and decentralization in a simpler way with the help of realistic examples.
Once they understand, they can start collecting Bitcoin all by themselves at the permissible age by doing tasks or work they would realize its potential.
This would be a start to teaching kids the power of decentralization and accumulation which will increase its value over the time and will also help parents in inculcating the habit of managing good financial behavior and being financially independent at an early age.
This is interesting! I never thought about it as I am not a teacher. In my opinion this is not a good idea as you need first parents permission and then only could explain it to the kids. I think you need to first check with them and then decide how you need to introduce Bitcoin. It is still a long journey you can think of different ideas as a teacher. |

It's very strange that Aussies complaining about sledging they have zero moral values when sledging touring teams. Shane Warne, McGrath, Ponting all these great players were also great in sledging. Only Indian players can give them reply not because of there performance because they gave IPL contracts.
Two decades ago, Australians were the only ones who would do sledging. Not just the Indians, but also the Poms and the Proteas used to complain about it. It was Sourav Ganguly who gave back some of it to the Australians for the first time. Sreesanth was the first Indian player who had the ability to sledge, but he got banned as a result of internal politics. Now I would say that Indian players are more experienced in sledging compared to the Australians (especially Kohli, Saini, Bumrah.etc), but manytimes they cross the limit and antagonize the Indian cricket fans. Now two decades back one of India's famous cricketer is also known for his sledging. You cannot miss out on those sledging controversies of Virat Kohli. He has a bad reputation within the team and outside the team. I guess he took on the baton of sledging from yester year Australian team. |

The Bangladeshi batsmen are playing really well. After stumps on day two, Bangladesh is still trailing by 79 runs but I don't think they will have any problems taking a lead. They are in a really good and commanding position in this test match right now. I also believe that the retired hurt situation of Tamim Iqbal is nothing serious and he just wanted to take some rest because it was really hot in Bangladesh today. It was a great century by Tamim Iqbal. Joy, Mushfiq, and Liton also played well for each of their half-centuries.
Bangladesh will have not to face any problems to take the lead in this match. My guess is that Bangladesh will play two sessions tomorrow. Bangladesh will declare an innings if they are able to take a lead of 150 or 200. Since 3 days have already ended. So this match is most likely to be drawn now. And Sri Lanka will be batting to draw their second innings. I think they will not declare the innings untill they have a lead of more than 250 runs. Matthew is in form and he has the ability all by himself to chase a lead of 200 runs. The way Bangladesh batters played yesterday, I think this will not be a big task for them. |

The game-changing over. T. Natarajan gave 26 runs on the 18th over. Tim David hit 4 over boundaries in this over. But in the last ball Natarajan takes David's wicket. Now Mumbai needs only 19 on 12 balls. The match though is now under Mumbai's control. However, I am not sure if Sanjay Yadav and Randeep Singh will be able to collect 19 runs. Bhubaneswar Kumar is a very experienced bowler. It will be difficult to collect runs in this over.
Your guess was right. Natarajan gave 26 runs in the 18th over. But in the 19th over. Bhubaneswar Kumar did not give any run. Hyderabad has won by 3 runs today because of his amazing 7 balls. But if Tim David had been able to stay at the crease, the outcome of the match would have been in Mumbai's favor today. Tim David's 46 off 18 balls was impressive. After 18 overs, I thought that MI would be able to win the match but they didn't play well in the 19th over. If they managed to score 5-7 runs in this over, there was big chance to win without any hassle. Hyderabad played so good and they really deserved this victory. They could have easily won the match if they had not lost the wicket of Tim David. He destroyed Natrajan and in the same over he also got run out because I felt he became over confident. The best part of the match was the struggle of Bhumrah to hit a ball in Bhuvneshwar kumar over. SRH can still qualify for the playoffs but it is very bleak now. |

The first thing that comes to my mind about Andrew Symonds is the altercation he had with Harbhajan Singh. While Harbhajan was bowling to Symonds, the former tried to sledge him by saying "Teri maa ki **** (your mom's ***)". Symonds, with zero knowledge in Hindi language misunderstood "maa ki" as "monkey". Being half-Caribbean, Symonds was extremely offended and he filed a complaint with the match referee for racial abuse. I am not sure what happened next, but I remember that Harbhajan refused to apologize for his boorish behavior.

Bangladesh vs Srilanka 1st Test match,Srilanka have batted first and they have managed 390+ runs in first innings. Bangladesh start to good innings and already have between 134+ partnership. All credit goes to Bangladeshi openers. For my experienced Bangladeshi players didn’t do bat as well in test match specially 2nd innings. They were nervous every test match. I think, Bangladeshi players can improve the test match.i hope they will be more improve in future.
157 for no loss incredible achievement by Bangladesh considering the team has not being doing well in test cricket. Iqbal has faced most of the ball and is on 89, at this rate he will achieve his century. The lead has reduced 240 runs and I think by the end of session 2 it will be within 200runs. |

Delhi Capitals VS Panjabs Kings
Today's match between Delhi and Punjab was an exciting match. The way Delhi won the match with a target of only 160 runs is really commendable. Punjabi's collection in the first 5 overs was 53 runs. Only 107 runs were needed to win 90 balls. However, Punjab lost the match by 17 runs. Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel's controlled bowling helped Delhi win the match. Delhi are now fourth in the points table. Perhaps they will be able to qualify for the next round.
PBKS should have won the match, as they were given a good start by Bairstow. Once Bairstow got out, DC never allowed PBKS batsmen to get settled and keep on taking wickets. One reason why DC gave a low target of 160 is that Warner got out on very first ball. Even after the wicket on the first ball Delhi Capitals continued to score good till the tenth over. After the tenth over the run rate started to fall and in the last five overs Delhi wasn't able to make good runs. Myself expected atleast 180 runs. In today's match a twist happened and David Warner might've felt bad of it. David Warner was on the runner end, and looking the option of Livingston to bowl the first over David Warner took the batting side and caught out on the very first ball to Rahul Chahar. At the early stage of the match when Warner was out for a duck I felt DC will lose this match and again Marsh was a saviour for DC. None of the batters have contributed like Warner and Marsh have done for DC in this season. Considering this was a bowling pitch DC was able to score more than 150 runs. PBKS gave a good fight till the end but they have been inconsistent throughout this season. |

This is some fine level of collapse from the Lankans. They were looking extremely dominating but Nayeem Hassan and Shakib manage to bring back Bongs in the game in just 2 overs (2 wickets each in same over).
Now 400 run mark looks almost impossible for the SL.
It looks like Sri Lanka will lose all their wickets before 400. Although Angelo Mathews is still at the crease, he is unbeaten on 161. However, after losing the fifth wicket for 319 runs, they lost three more wickets by just 9 runs. Sakib took 3 wickets and Nayeem took 4 wickets. . Sri Lanka's first innings will end between 380-390 runs. Anything above 350 is a good score. Except Mathews and Chandimal every batter from the Srilankan side was a failure. I also think they will not reach 400 as they already have lost 8 wickets. 350 itself would be a tough target to chase for the Bangladeshi side. |

Rajasthan Royals won by 24 runs aginst Lucknow. Both team are better playing this season in IPL.Today match was very interesting. Unfortunately Lucknow didn’t finish as well.Both team are very strong in IPL this season. Both team's batrers and bowler's performance is so good this season. Lucknow amd RR will be played in next round.I hope Lucknow will win in Their next match.
With the current situation on league table for me three teams are already in play-offs and now fight is on for just last spot because right now GT, RR and LSG are giving amazing performance and no other team is capable to beat them which is big advantage for them. Two big teams MI and CSK already out of competition because they completely fail to give any solid performance and two new teams doing good job with having top rank now RCB is unpredictable, and they are fighting hard for last spot, but they have to give their best if they want to reach in last four. Tomorrow we have one very interesting match between DC vs PBKS winner from this match can take fourth spot and skip RCB down even many ups and downs coming but now four teams already out of competition remaining are still giving their best. Yes, these two new teams have performed exceptionally well in their first season of IPL. In my opinion the chances of these two reaching the finals is alo very high. DC and PBKS have both won their previous matches but in my opinion PBKS has not been the consistent side. I feel today DC will win the match comfortably and also confirm their position for the playoffs. |

The win came too late for the KKR, as they are already out of the competition. For SRH, this one was a must win match, but now they are also out of the next phase after they lost it. SRH has now lost 5 matches consecutively and now they stand at 8th place in the points table. Can you believe this? At one point, they had 5 wins from 7 matches and now they are with 5 wins from 12 matches. Really difficult to understand what happened to them. On the other hand, Lucknow has won 4 out of their last 5 matches and today they will be taking on Rajasthan.
SRH won't qualify for playoffs in this season of IPL. Yesterday's match was a disaster for them. None of their batters were able to stay put and lead the chase. Ofcourse 178 was a big score on that pitch but I expected them to chase it. Abishek Sharma did his level best but that shot was not good enough. |

I have sad news to share that we have lost another Australian legend. Andrew Symonds died yesterday in a car accident. I do remember the matches where Shane Warne and Andrew Symonds together won many matches for the Australians.
RIP
He was the only cricketer I hated most whenever Australia played with India. An amazing and extraordinary journey ended in a tragic accident. May his soul rest in peace. This year has been bad for Australian cricket. Just a few month back they lost Shane Warne. |

In test match they also need to work on and try to cut few teams those are not able to have quality set up which can help them for bringing some good test playing guys because it's also very important for better quality and results.
Which teams do you think should go from the Test format and which non associate team is perform so well that they should be given a chance to play the longer format. I am not watching Cricket religiously as i used to in my younger years but still i have not seen that kind of solid performance from any associate countries so that they needs to get a chance to play International Cricket. Mostly asians are very crazy for cricket and ICC is spending so much money to keep them involved in the game. They are hardly seem performing in Olympics. And this is very sad. For example Pakistani team is so good in cricket and only one athlete participated in Olympics winter, surprising though! I am not sure why said Asians are involved in cricket. I think you meant South East Asian. I am not sure about other countries but in india people love to play and watch other games too such as badminton, wrestling, hockey and football. The government of India has also started promoting and encouraging other sports keeping in mind the Olympics. To an extent it has also started showing results. Cricket is still the most watched and played sports but slowly other sports have also started to get the same attention. |

Things are not good enough for home team as they are going to face spirited Sri Lanka in first test match at Chattogram Shakib which was dropped for Covid-19 positive now have negative and going with team but still need some more medical tests for participating into first test even coach Russell Domingo is not positive about Shakib for first test match. With this Now Mehdi Miraz and Taskin both are also out of first test due to finger and shoulder injuries, so with this all look like Bangladesh is having not good chances against visitors for winning this series.
My prediction about this series is Sri Lanka won or draw because at home they have some advantage and can give tough time to Lankan's but still they are good to win in this series.
So that means Bangladesh is having injury concerns in the upcoming tour. When is the first match and i have to see the team for Sri Lanka before making a decision because some other time i placed a bet after seeing the comments here and messed up badly  . Bangladesh is always a strong side at home and they always pack their team with spinners but Sri Lanka does play spin well but yet to see the team. It happened to me too I did my research and then saw a few comments here and changed my decision while placing the bets believing that those comments. It is better to believe in your own research than to believe in someone else. I still feel that Bangladesh has an upper edge no matter what everyone here says. Either win or draw for them it is a win-win situation. Two match series and their is a higher probability of a draw. |

There is a remote possibility that SRH can still qualify for the next stage. But for that, they need to win all three of their remaining matches, and either RCB or RR should lose their remaining ones. To complicate things further, Delhi and Punjab also have 12 points each, and there is a theoretical possibility that these two teams may also manage to qualify. If SRH lose today's match against the KKR, then it will become extremely difficult for them to qualify. And it is going to be tough, because SRH has lost 4 matches consecutively now.
I doubt it will be possible for SRH to win all three matches and also maintain a good NRR. RR needs to win only a single match to qualify for the playoffs and RCB needs to win two matches to qualify. RR will be in but I still doubt RCB as they are not consistent. I still believe DC has a chance and they might be able to get through. |
