2861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fall! What to do? on: November 20, 2018, 02:01:57 PM
Just don't panic, that is the first advice and don't make reckless decisions.
Of course your position depends primarily how much and on what price have you bought your coins but don't rush with selling.
I don't expect some deeper fall and to my estimation the price will start to recover soon so have a little bit more patience. Hope that you have invested funds that you don't need for daily existance, that makes decision lot more easier.
2862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price dip a sign Institutional Investors are ready? on: November 20, 2018, 11:47:11 AM
This could be the rigth moment for institutional investors to join the game.
Honestly, at first I didn't think that the price will go below 5000$ in this dip but on the other hand it makes sense.
The upcoming week and situation on the market will give us answers. Still I don't believe that some big conspiracy theory is standing behind current price correction.
2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was not what we were promised - there I said it! on: November 19, 2018, 07:16:33 PM
First of all you were not promised anything. Maybe is this just your imagination or lack of knowledge or information but who do you think exactly made some promis to you?
Bitcoin still is decentralized cryptocurrency, no matter what some conspiracy theories say. Yes, whales have some influence on the market but you can't blaim them for everything that is happening on the market, like the latest dump.
I know that bitternes is talking out of you but try to be rational and don't blaim Bitcoin or others for bad decisions or losses that might have happened to you.
2864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin bankruptcy on: November 19, 2018, 05:13:40 PM
Bitcoin is not for reckless investors and those who are here only for huge profit. And what kind of investment can guarantee profit all the time?
Bitcoin is volatile, don't forget that, and no one has ever said that up is the only way that price will go.
Bitcoin is not for those with bad stomach and panic attacks so if you are in that group better give up because it's too late.
2865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to collapse this week on: November 19, 2018, 01:08:38 PM
People, get serious. If you really think that price correction in the framework like we are having now will lead to Bitcoin collapse then you probably don't even belong here.
Such empty predictions without any solid ground and analysis are not leading us anywhere.
Nothing special is happening, accept that.
2866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: November 18, 2018, 06:52:20 PM
I don't think the the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has such deep influence on Bitcoin community. Of course, people are curious and would like to know who he or she really was but again the very essence of Bitcoin and everything that it represents, the idea how it should Bitcoin and cryptocurrency be it's much more important.
And you have to understand that it's in very best interest of Satoshi to keep the identity hidden. At his/her place you would probably do the same.
2867  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: November 18, 2018, 01:43:24 PM
Now when we are aproaching the end of the year we can indeed say that this year was the year of correction. Although after last year everyone expected bullish trend to continue and Bitcoin goes higher than ever just the opposite happened. There were no biger fluctuations all over the year but I think there were no biger injections on the market from big investors and whales.
I expect for 2019 to bring some positive movements but still I don't expect to see too much pumps. Let's get pleasntly surprised.
2868  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: November 18, 2018, 09:08:44 AM
O can't agree that we don't need blockchain. Currently it's the best technology that could be used in many other industries and businesses not only cryptocurrencies. That is why many resesrches and tests are done in order to see where and how could be best implemented. Financial industry is just one example for that. Of course there is also room for further development and improvements in blockchain so in the future I expect this to become daily as usual technology.
2869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you cash out your bitcoins for Black Friday? on: November 18, 2018, 08:05:18 AM
I usualy use Bitcoins in everyday life to make a purchase. But I don't exchange it for fiat, I have Bitcoin debit card and that makes shoping much more easier.
To exchange Bitcoin just for shoping with diacount maybe is not the most clever idea but I'm sure there will be some people who will do it.
On the other hand I always say that true value of Bitcoin is possibility to use in real life for real stuff so why not to use that.
2870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Stop of BTC.....5000$ on: November 17, 2018, 09:41:05 PM
in this market if you want to be successful then you have to stop being excited about each price move. for example in this case you are acting irrational and based on emotion saying price is down to $5k or in case of rises for those who saw $20k and thought $100k is the next stop.
this move was a small one, although it is risky but this drop is all there is. you can't predict any lower level based on nothing since it has dropped because of nothing! and as manipulations go, they are unpredictable.

Exactly, I don't know where all this drama is coming from. Are there no reasonable users who have experience with Bitcoin and have seen different scenarios with price? It looks like only newbies that are making terrible panic are involved. So much emotions that are no necessary at all.
Even if the price goes down to 5000$ it's not the end of the world. Stop thinking that Bitcoin is only valuable if the price is above 10000$.
2871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market's on minimum, time to buy? on: November 17, 2018, 08:15:03 PM
Well, I agree that Bitcoin price will not go lower than 5000$ this year and if you have some extra funds it's good opportunity for buying.
Despite many expectations that the end of the year will bring us price pump just the opposite happened but still I don't think this is a bad thing. The price will not sink deeper, we still can call this only correction and if you buy more now you will have good start position for the begininig of the next year when price might start to rise again.
2872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much? on: November 17, 2018, 06:47:09 PM
I'm using Bitcoin for a five years now and I've seen much worse scenarios with Bitcoin and didn't give up so I don't have such bad attitude towards current price.
I hold Bitcoin because I beleive it and because it's my way of life. I know that not always situation will be ideal and we have to hold on the bad times too. That is how I see it.
I usualy don't buy Bitcoins but earn them so I'm in much better situation than those who have bought it and lost a lot since last year. That is why your personal goals and strategy are very important.
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin still dipping. What should we do? on: November 17, 2018, 08:04:34 AM
Actually the price got "stuck" around 5500$ and it's not going much down anymore. And I think it will not go down to 5000$. In fact I expect to rise towards 6000$ in the upcoming days.
Anyway, don't be worried, there is no reason for that and don't check Bitcoin price to often and don't read FUD threads at bitcointalk they will only make you panic.
If you can buy more Bitcoins.
2874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transaction on: November 16, 2018, 08:15:56 PM
I think unconfirmed transactions are very rare and these days there are many wallets where you can define and control the fee in order your transactions get confirmed. In.general unconfirmed transactions are not so much a nightmare as they used to be.
Personally I don't have experience with Copay but my suggestion would be to stick to some trusted wallets like Electrum or Mycelium.
But again it's not so much time passed and I'm sure your transaction will be confirmed eventualy.
2875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we wait for a big drop in BTC? on: November 16, 2018, 06:39:26 PM
I think there will be no big drop, at least not in this round.
To my opinion we are still in the field of correction and I don't think that price will go under 5000$. We've seen similar situations before and there is no room for panic. Bitcoin will overcome current market position like so many times before.
Still I beleive that every price dump is good opportunity for more buying so take your chances.
2876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance: bad thing or good thing? on: November 16, 2018, 01:37:01 PM
I don't see anything wrong in Bitcoin being dominant.
It's the oldest, strongest and most valuable cryptocurrency and it deserved to be on a throne. Afterall, it took this place because of the users who suport Bitcoin through all this years and huge progress it has made.
On the other hand market is open and every other coin has the opportunity for success although I truly doubt that some other coin will ever achieve such success.
2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just calm the f$%^ down, this is not the end of Bitcoin. on: November 16, 2018, 10:04:04 AM
Every time when the price goes down the same story repeats, this is getting so boring.
When will people learn that volatility is natural part of Bitcoin and that price corrections don't mean the end of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. Please get informed yourself before you engage in Bitcoin otherwise the only thing you do to yourself and others is damage.
2878  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: November 15, 2018, 10:04:56 AM
I don't think that eradicating poverty is possible in real life, it's utopia. It's like you say you can eradicate all diseases in the world.
Of course there are methods governments could make to diminish the poverty but not all countries are in the same position and not all people have equal possibilities. Even cryptocurrencies can't help to fight poverty entirely and there is no magic formula for that. Also, don't forget that cryptocurrencies don't bring always only profit.
2879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Stop of BTC.....5000$ on: November 15, 2018, 07:35:11 AM
Yes, 5000$ could happen. Still I don't think that it will go lower than that but it's important for users not to start panic selling and to make bad decisions.
It's a correction that to my opinion will not turn to serious dump.
Anyway it's a surprise for some who expected a huge pump at the end of the year and now they are experiencing the price fall.
2880  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation. on: November 14, 2018, 09:12:15 PM
I think this is quite natural. Younger generations are always generator of changes and they are accepting new technologies much easier and with less prejudice, they are leaders of changes.
But don't forget that there are some older people who are willing to embrace new technologies and cryptocurrencies too so don't exclude them entirely. Bitcoin is made for everyone and should be available to everyone, no matter the gender or age.
