1901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: August 22, 2019, 09:29:11 PM
Another speculation and character that is given too much attention. He is obviously commited to gold which is his choice but that doesn't mean he is an expert for Bitcoin and that his prediction is something that should be taken seriously. Obviously people care too much about different predictions and speculations, like this is going to actualy change something.
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank account froze after selling btc (UK) on: August 22, 2019, 05:35:15 PM
I believe the bank suspects a case of money laundry since most banks are not accustomed to how money transfer involving bitcoin are transacted. I think you need to go there in person and speak to the customer help desk. That is the best solution when an account is frozen till to unusual transactions.

This could be the case. Uk banks were not restricted to cryptocurrencies, as far as I know but due to suspicion to money laundering or maybe some shady previous cases the bank night froze the account . But I'm sure this could be solved with some explanations.
1903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome my fear and how to start trading? on: August 22, 2019, 12:41:08 PM
Fear is good and it's natural, it might prevent you from making foolish decisions. On the other hand you mustn't let it inhibit you.
Start with small amounts to get the basics, to "feel" the market and how it's functioning. Also, pick some good trustworthy exchange, dok experiment. With time you will get more selfconfidence and knowledge about the trading. Just don't rush, it takes time and don't set yoursef impossibe goals.
1904  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 22, 2019, 10:53:39 AM
Hackers are getting smarter than exchanges and also smarter than big companies secured by best possible security systems
I think that people was already able to learn to not leave his funds on exchanges
There was thread on bitcoingarden forum Cmentarny of exchanges.Biggest and small ones
There is hard to find exchange what never experiencing hacking in his history
Other thing is self hack and oh sorry out exchange was hacked goodbye

I don't think that hackers are smarter but exchanges just don't care enough for security and don't invest enough to prevent attacks. And hackers will find every vulnerability they can use. They are always step ahead and cybersecurity is still something that people are not aware enough
But I guess that exchanges have estimated that potential loss is still cheaper for them than investment in security features.
1905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency are gonna disappear on: August 22, 2019, 08:25:00 AM
Some altcoins will disappear, that is for sure. They can't all survive at the market but the selection is taking place all the time anyway.
With time not so new ones will appear on the market but the strongest and best ones will survive. Cryptocurrencies are the future.
1906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto banned? on: August 21, 2019, 09:21:08 PM
Countries that banned the usage of cryptocurrencies have begun to lift the ban. Some countries have the ban, but they've started to give consideration on the usage of the blockchain technology into financial infrastructure developments and on different functional platforms. Cryptocurrency ban completely impossible as it has got the peer to peer access which makes bitcoin unique from the traditional system.

The good thing is that there are only few countries that actually banned Bitcoin. I don't think this is something that the majority would follow. Also, total ban isn't possible and something like that would be impossibe to monitor. People will continue to use Bitcoin no matter what but with time some solution that will exclude ban will definetely be found.
1907  Economy / Marketplace / Re: In 2019 Toyota, Canva, Facebook,( the list goes on)have reported data beeches on: August 21, 2019, 04:32:48 PM
Data are very valuable asset and that becomes more and more an issue. Companies and governments are more and more vulnerable and they don't still invest enough in data and information protection. Is blockchain a solution? I don't know, it might help in certain ways but I don't think that will stop data breaches completely. Although everything that serves to better protection is worth trying.
1908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin chartists live in fantasy land on: August 21, 2019, 12:23:13 PM
No one ever said that technical analisys is exact science that will give you all answers you want. Like amy other prediction, it's just a possible guidline but not something you should stick too. Anything in any kind of prediction isn't precise or verified and everyone who uses such predictions should be awae of that.
1909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales Every time change the market?? on: August 21, 2019, 09:36:12 AM
Once again whales are given much bigger influence than they really have on the market. And it's kind of funny to blame the whales if you can't make the profit how you would like to. That hasn't got anything to do with them, it's only up to you how skilled you are to use every situation on the market and get the most out of it.
Big investors might have certain control but they are big players in their world and that doesn't influence much smaller investors.
1910  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says Bitcoin Waking Up Again on: August 21, 2019, 08:27:52 AM
Well!! Popular cryptocurrency expert john McAfee says that bitcoin is waking up again.

According to John McAfee, “BTC waking up again. Up and down but long term steady growth is apparent”

What's your point of view on this?
Well even an ordinary man would able to say those normal lines too and also i dont see this McAfee to be expert on predicting Bitcoins price. The thing here is that,
he should not forget on the deal that he had made on previous years where bitcoin would hit up 1M usd each or else he would eat up his own d*ck on national television.lol

Well John McAfee is really no expert, I mean he suddenly burst into the scene, making outlandish predictions. And later we found out that he is just a shill, and even had a huge asking price to promote coins in his twitter. No one will forget about that deal, all eyes on him when bitcoin price didn't hit as he predicted and there's gonna be a lot of meme and he will be ridiculed for putting his own d**k on the line.
Even speculations from traditional market big investors or well known names cant be considered to be an expert when it comes to crypto market. How much more for Mccafee? A British-American computer programmer and businessman. ? He do only minds on making money out of shilling out.

Exactly, since when is he a big Bitcoin expert?
People are often attracted by big names and therefor beleive everything they say, including predictions about Bitcoin. They have influence although they don't actually deserve it.
1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Austrian Telecommunication Provider Now Accepts Bitcoin Payments on: August 20, 2019, 09:52:05 PM
Was reading barkleys and coinbase divorce in the press section and now reading a 180° news here Tongue
It is good to read some good news from time to time talking about bitcoin adoption, i only hope it will be significant for A1 so they keep using Bitcoin!

It's true, it's good to see Bitcoin being accepted by big and important companies. However it's kind of expected from telecom and similar companies to accept new technologies includin cryptocurrencies. I would more prefere to see other industries that are not so tech oriented to accept Bitcoin too.
1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your Bitcoin price prediction for 1st September 2019 on: August 20, 2019, 12:50:54 PM
This date is very close and I don't think that price is going to change significantly. To my opinion it will stay in the range between 9500$ and 11000$ but I don't expect to cross that border. I also don't think that some bigger corrections will happen so actually I don't expect anything from the next month when it comes to Bitcoin price.
1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: August 20, 2019, 10:13:08 AM
Unfortunately we live in the world where almost every human activity is causin polution and endangers our planet. This is the huge problem but compared to other industries and activities I don't think that Bitcoin mining represents big issue in that sense. Of course, implementation of alternative energy sources could be part of solution but at the moment human kind has much bigger problems in area of ecology than Bitcoin.
1914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Machine Learning is Needed to Detect Money Laundering on: August 19, 2019, 08:12:34 PM
Machine learning or artificial.intelligence will be very helpul in many areas and it will certainly help to detect money laundering since scheems are becoming more and more sophisticated. But I don't think that money laundering connected with cryptocurrencies is such a big issue, I think that is still much more represented in traditional currencies. Still the ways that machine learning could be implemented will definetely change many areas in our lives.
1915  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: August 19, 2019, 05:04:32 PM
I don't think that Libra has such power. Although it's a kind of stable coin that is backed up by Facebook and some financial institutions it is not formaly introduced into financial system and can't disrupt it. I think that Libra is given much importance and power than in reality actually has. I don't expect that Libra will have some significant influence on anything, not just financial system.
1916  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble on: August 19, 2019, 01:40:41 PM
If fiat money is a bubble then this bubble lasts really long time.
I know that some had ideas how Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will replace fiat but I think by know everyone knows this is not going to happen. Fiat money will continue to exist and the economies around the world will continue to depend on them. Still that doesn't mean that cryptocurrencies will not develope further and become more and more accepted, just not instead of fiat money.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 19, 2019, 11:52:16 AM
You are not the first or last that this happened. But that was your decision at that moment based on your estimation and probably you couldn't have know that the price will rise so much. Every now and then we all make wrong decisions and estimations but the most important is how we deal with consequences and are we able to recover and move on.
1918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins and Bank mesh! on: August 18, 2019, 11:08:06 AM
Bitcoin doesn't have similarities with coins you mentuoned. Still they are all part of crypto family. With time whole are of cryptocurrencies and the market will become more regulated and that is inevitable. That is also condition for better adoption especially by businesses.
Also banks will get more involved with cryptocurrencies and they will begin to offer crypto related services and that is not distant future.
1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020's gonna be lit!! on: August 18, 2019, 07:07:50 AM
Many also thought the same thing for 2019, that is going to be amazing and revolutioary year for Bitcoin. So far it didn't happen so. It seems that after 2017 many users hope that exatly the next year is going to be "the year" when Bitcoin will achieve 20k again.
But instead of waiting the perfect year for Bitcoin I think we should focus on the present amd get the best and the most out of it.
1920  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitcoin Debit Card Needed on: August 17, 2019, 08:32:02 PM
Wirex is also an option, they allow to withdraw funds at ATM and I think they are available in.USA.
Hoewever there is a monthly limit and fee for cash withdrawal but they also have an option to transfer funds to bank account if that suits you.
Anyway, I think we don't have enough Bitcoin debit card providers on the market so I beleive this will change soon.
