If you don't have an asic don't mine, it is a waste of money and time
how about pool mining?

Mining with a regular computer is dead, move on

This post has been a bizarre post to me. I know I am the new kid, but it freaks me out to see you just taking the forums money and passing it out to your friends. I know you are highly respected but still a problem if you ask me(which I know no one is). The other things that seem to be major problems is talk of not requiring a 100% reserve requirement!? People saying that they would take a holding fee. wtf? I had recommended to the guy who gave out all of my information start a service verifying people who wanted the community to know who they are. I would recommend that anyone who holds community funds should go through a verification process. Name, Address, Line of Work, criminal record, online stores, business, maybe next of kin? basically release all of you information. I have done that to show I am who i say I am and if i f@#$ you over you know where to come to get your money.  Smiley

But no one wants to come get money, it cost more money to get the money back. And he isn't giving it to his friends if he is being completely transparent about it.

* My Guaranteed deposit: http://bit.ly/MAWOEv

And guess what? With that you have discredited yourself as able to hold funds in escrow... There is no guaranteed deposit when all your doing is lending out. So I think that discredits you a lot.

2865  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: To what extent is blockchain.info's code open-source ? on: February 06, 2013, 08:03:37 PM
That isn't the complete source code, I think that is setup so people can verify the javascript on the site, to make sure no one tries to steal there password and id.
2866  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Scam] student from Romania is claiming to have ASIC units for sale at 85 GH/s on: February 06, 2013, 06:01:05 PM
Just a quick factcheck: all of BTC finance currently comes out of Romania. This is because all you Aussies, Brits, 'Mericans and so forth weren't smart enough to do it, and so MP had to come do it for you. Chillax on the jingo bs, it's out of place.

Don't worry, we all you know you be stripping if it wasn't for bitcoin and MPEx LMAO

2868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Davide Accusing Me of Stealing his hosting money on: February 06, 2013, 06:39:04 AM
I want to know why you need someone else to wire money to pay for your hosting? That is the shadiest thing EVER... You could promise me anything to get me to do that. Also I like how he keeps throwing around, that he has run businesses on the web since 15 LOL yea cause you were really running a web business at 15, lets get real.
2869  Economy / Securities / Re: I sure do miss the GLBSE on: February 06, 2013, 06:07:40 AM
While MPEX is UX nightmare it is probably the most secure since it uses GPG keys to sign contracts.
2870  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Lancelot on: February 06, 2013, 05:48:53 AM
Wait to bid I have to spend money LMAO this is a joke, I really hope so, cause then that would mean this guy has no clue. You also talk about Texas auctions, while your paying to get a chance to bid on items, they have many items, so it is worth the gamble to take, this is obviously not. Threads like this just show, that people want an easy way to get bitcoins, so sad...
2871  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: February 06, 2013, 03:01:55 AM
Of course, even with a 45 coin loss, you are a million times better than gweedo.  He is all air and trolling, and doesn't have the guts to post his full record.

LOL yeah sadly I am all air LOL Dude I am not comfortable to have my wealth records out in the public, if you want to pay me 10btcs I will show you my uncensored document.
2872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Video Series Available on: February 06, 2013, 01:23:09 AM
TL/DR on my previous post:  These posts were from me as an individual "going rogue" and not official company posts.  The social team will hang me by my tendons when they see all this, but don't blame them or the company.

Rouge employees is never a good look for a company...
2873  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: February 06, 2013, 01:21:22 AM

It is really ok, that your jealous that we can pick loans and you can't with your little 4 btcs. Just own it and move on to something else cause your trolling yet it aint working LOL

Not sure why you're even replying to my posts.  Tulkas has been replying to people with real suggestions/comments, and making changes when necessary to improve the site.  I have no idea who you are, or if you're even a stakeholder in BTCJam... I assume you're not though.

Which would lead me to think.. who is the troll?

Not a stakeholder but made enough bitcoins off the site that I am good. I am replying to you cause you should like the biggest idiot ever, and you obviously have no idea of how P2P loaning works so yea I am going to reply to you and show you how your being a moron LOL That would lead me to you who I think is being a troll, cause you have no idea what you are talking about.
2874  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: February 06, 2013, 01:09:37 AM
LOL you shut up a lot of people, since everyone thought I was the only one that makes money on this site, but see smart people know how to invest there money and rake it in.

Doesn't show that he has made a cent. All it shows is that he has 177BTC as a liability, which could at some point become overdue.  The 222 paid, could have been the same 1BTC lend out and paid back over and over again *however I doubt it is.

Looking at this screen, the alias has not been shown... I suspect it's someone who has loaned a lot of money on one or two large loans... but again, hard to say with that little bit of information.

It is really ok, that your jealous that we can pick loans and you can't with your little 4 btcs. Just own it and move on to something else cause your trolling yet it aint working LOL

And I thought only strippers came from Romania...

Man you are an idiot.

Actually, he is right.
We are sending our strippers there because theirs are so damn ugly.

I am not full involved in strip clubs but the few I have visited, the Romania chicks were the hottest LMAO

Did I hear someone say "Put-up or Shut-up"?

2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Video Series Available on: February 06, 2013, 12:34:37 AM
I didn't even notice that, but it is sad, they are trying to play both sides of the fence, they want to be involved in bitcoin and not at the same time. Too bad time to let them think about how they screwed up.
2878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Video Series Available on: February 05, 2013, 11:41:14 PM
I just watched this with a friend and I am sorry to say but this was very confusing for her, and she knows a little about how bitcoin works and she was still confused. Also when I showed her the one about bitcoin-qt you missed some points and ran over them fast. A symbolic link would work better then just having an icon with the -datadir parameter. Another quick thing on that video, you talked about how the bitcoin wallet creates new addresses in the background, I think they don't need to know that if they are a first time user. Plus you should have say it has a keypool and when it needs to refill that it will.

I was really hoping this was going to be a good video training thing especially since huge companies use you guys, but again it just something that doesn't met the mark of what people need to know.

P.S you have a lot of errors going on with files not found and that is why the video wasn't working in the beginning maybe double check your CDN or something.
2879  Other / Meta / Re: create/modify software for this forum on: February 05, 2013, 09:08:50 PM
http://www.discourse.org/ just became public today.  It's based on Ruby, so it doesn't meet a lot of the requirements, but it uses PostgreSQL at least Smiley

RoR and just released, yea that sounds like a great idea... Come on use your head, the bugs in that software must be off the charts. Even if it some how doesn't have any bugs, then how do we even know it will handle the traffic, if it hasn't been stress tested this would be the worst idea ever.
2880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IndieGogo Campaign attempting to replace Bitcoin on: February 05, 2013, 09:05:47 PM
It seems kinda like bitcoins, I mean they will fail, cause they will probably have to require a minimum to put into the service, since fees will be the down fall. How do you make people add $10 and then divide it out in ¢20 to content creators. People really want to tip people once or twice, only if they are blown away. As soon as they see a minimum they will probably be turned off rather quickly, I dont want $10 sitting on some site.
