2861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for criminals - Or so they say. on: July 26, 2016, 06:25:20 PM
Ok, so in every article or podcast or interview... we have to hear that Bitcoin is the preferred tool for criminals. If that was the truth, we should all be filthy rich by now... right? ....The question is, where

are all this money from money laundering, drugs, prostitution and all the nasty stuff, Bitcoin is being blamed for.... I do not see it, do you? Should we play to our strength then, if Bitcoin is only good for

criminal purposes? ... I mean to say, if we only attract say 10% of the total amount of money spend on drugs alone, we would most probably be millionaires in a month or two.  Roll Eyes

" With estimates of $100 billion to $110 billion for heroin, $110 billion to $130 billion for cocaine, $75 billion for cannabis and $60 billion for synthetic drugs, the probable global figure for the total illicit

drug industry would be approximately $360 billion.
"

This is a tongue in the cheek poke at all those people, who points fingers at Bitcoin for being the culprit and those who are saying Bitcoin is the primary tool for criminals to do their business online.  Roll Eyes

Can you smell the bullshit in their statements? The numbers just do not match up, with what they are saying.  Wink

People and individuals from time immemorial have been entitled to their opinion on what they deem fit or not. From my own point of view I think all these flying here and there is a means to call dog a bad name in other to hang it which boils down to the fact of inability of various governments to control the flow of bitcoin. However, we cant still rule out the possibility of people using this as a means of social vices but still cannot be compared to the use of cash in funding various vices all over the world... my 2 cents...
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHo will win - ETH or ETC? on: July 26, 2016, 05:28:57 PM
ETH is a bloodbath right now, im staying clear of both until i can see who the clear winner will be.

I dont really even know what to think of ETH anyway, but on moral grounds i think ETC is the better fork.
ETC all the way because that is the real deal not some other fork... my 2 cents...
2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: “RISK” - Motivating factor rather than a Prevention factor in Gambling? on: July 26, 2016, 04:45:17 PM
Do you believe that “risk” is a key motivating factor, rather than a prevention factor, in engaging in gambling?
Were you became engaged in gambling because it was risky and exciting or there's any other reason? What's your position here?

For me, risk is a prevention factor in Gambling. That's the reason why I'm not really into it. I'm more on thinking that, "what if I lose?" more than thinking "what if I win?". Maybe some of you will say, "gamble just for fun", well for me, losing is not fun, maybe because I can't afford to lose the fruit of my hard work.
From my own point of view I will say for the risk takers its a form of motivation because they believe that the higher the risk the higher the return and they are ready to go for it. However for the risk averse person, he is not willing to take risk or if he I'll take so little to those people its a prevention factor...my 2 cents...

2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 26, 2016, 06:01:42 AM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!
In my own opinion, the reason why its hard to stop even after losing is believing so much in revenge, with the hope of getting back at them in other to win back what has been lost and that's what keeps them going then eventually lost and lost again then get to a point of quitting but chance favours them and the cycle continues... My 2 cents...

2868  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump Presidency - boom for bitcoin? on: July 25, 2016, 08:10:02 PM
I haven't seen this talked about much (but forgive me if it's been beaten to death already).

If the US ends up with Trump as President, do you think that would be good for bitcoin?

Economic turmoil or more specifically currency risk (especially of the Dollar) could cause many to flee to Bitcoin along with other currencies?

Any thoughts on this one?
I beg to differ and I want to ask that what is the relationship between Donald Trump winning election and Bitcoin probably OP should explain to me in clear terms because I don't understand as the two are completely unrelated from my own point of view. Its like comparing what happen in basketball to relationship in real estate... My 2 cents...
2869  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NATO: Putin is ready to start World War III Overnight on: July 25, 2016, 07:36:44 PM
World war 3 will not start just  a propaganda from a faceless news outfit. Issues beyond whatever they are having issues with have been settlers through dialogue and concessions without or minimal damage. No country can afford to go to war right now with the rest of the others as powers are now being shared equally, countries now have nuclear powers in addition to anti nuclear machines etc... So any country will think twice before going down that lane... My 2 cents...
2870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 25, 2016, 07:17:06 PM
What do you guys think?
Since the price keeps going lower the whole day.

Also why is it going lower ?
Every sane person want to buy low and sell high but we are not sure of the future as we can only speculate which is so far from reality, what if I buy now and it goes lower how I make more money or gain on my invested amount on buying or I should wait further maybe it will be lower, then I can buy and it goes back on the high side how do I now buy? These are issues but to those who will gain or lose in this time are those are willing to take the risk and ready to bear the loss if it goes south... My 2 cents...
2871  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Hot PTC For BitCOIN on: July 25, 2016, 07:08:45 PM
Hot PTC For BitCOIN - guess you know the difference between "Paid to click" and faucet rotator..you have a good faucet rotator, but misleading title ain't a good idea to promote your rotator.
I agree with you because there is a clear difference between what OP is promoting and what he is advertising even if you want to use that to encourage visitors I think you should be fully truthful about it and from what I have read I guess I will just pass and go for greener pasture to earn satoshis... My 2 cents...
2872  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another shooting in a Florida nightclub on: July 25, 2016, 06:56:05 PM
Does it ever end?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2016/07/25/florida-club-shooting-teen-night/87518168/

"Two people are killed and up to 16 more injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Florida..."

According to BBC News

Thoughts?
This is pure madness and it has to stop but all blame is being laid on those opposed to gun control however I would like to take another view which is is it possible that some people are planning these attacks in other to blackmail the opponents to gun control in other to have their way or is it just that the access to guns should be controlled?  These two ideology begs for answer and I say whether gun control or not the government should do more in the protection of its citizens... My 2 cents...
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm Lucky Today on: July 25, 2016, 06:45:54 PM
Rolled 8888 at freebitco.in two times today Smiley And each time I paid into the jackpot. Heh. I didn't win anything big, because I only spend the 2sat for it, but it's well worth it, I say, for that chance.

An extra 20k to gamble with Cheesy

Woo for gambling. \o/

So far my total profit today is around 70k satoshis (before jackpot wins). I 'safe' bet.
Cool to know that you agree that its just chance that you won the jackpot twice with the amount you invested being so little that's good but you need to ask if you have put like 1btc or more would chance still favour you or some people behind the scene design the chance to your favour cos the amount to win is little... Either way who knows anyway just know its chance and it could turn over in just seconds... My 2 cents...
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gamblers Gamble? on: July 24, 2016, 09:14:55 PM
I'm trying to analyze behavioral trends on gamblers. Does anyone have a source to compare mass amounts of data from moneypot or other sites? Or do you have some evidence?

Basically, what I'm trying to figure out is:

1) Do people gamble with odds that are above or below 50/50?
2) How do people respond to large losses (in the event of conservative betting) or large wins (in the opposite event)
Irrespective of whatever method anyone might use is still get down to the issue of chance and nothing else however some who have the opportunity to understand how it works are only able to increase their chance of winning and not with certainty that they will win and in the same vain reduce their chances of losing only base on chance... For the loss part, large is relative as what might be large to you might be peanut to another... My 2 cents...
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: July 24, 2016, 07:27:56 PM
how many people are lucky but lose,How else have no relation with luck but uses several strategy that allows them to make earnings, and also how many people have no experience in games but who make big pot, and others who uses the same strategy that worked for other people but does not work for them.
So; do you believe that earnings in gambling is depending on luck?  Huh
To me, I believe it has nothing to do with loss but chance or how do you explain someone who has been winning then eventually lost everything do you say he was lucky before, and the luck left him? Or how do even measure it on behalf of someone who is a perpetual loser? Does that mean he does not have luck? Everything concerning gambling is on chance which affects how you can win or lose... My 2 cents...
2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you be happy repeatedly flipping a coin with an opponent to gamble? on: July 24, 2016, 07:05:46 PM
Ask yourself this:
Would you be happy repeatedly flipping a coin with an opponent to gamble?
That is exactly 50/50
Would that be better or worse than what you do now?

Every game whatsoever is a game of chance and depending on how averse to risk will determine how far you're will to earn will determine the chances you're willing to take. For me, if its with an individual yes I will take my chances but not with machine in which I can't trust to have equal chance as me... My 2 cents...
2877  Economy / Securities / Re: 10% monthly oportunity on: July 24, 2016, 04:00:04 PM
I can make 10% monthly with your bitcoins.
Just give me an access to your LiberOptions.com account and specify what amount you allow me to start with.
I'm just a trader, and want to leverage profits
Please contact me in private.

Just like that, I laugh then people should just give you access. I won't be surprised if anyone actually believed you and send you money, but who knows  a newbie for that matter without nothing to lose this is even more confrontational than HYIP scheme... Tread with caution... My 2 cents...
2878  Economy / Securities / Re: BOB pays monthly interest now for 0.5 BTC and more on: July 24, 2016, 03:28:03 PM
You would first need to setup a base for yourself here just by saying you have 2 client wont work. Kindly make the payment every week which will attract more buyers and if your genuine then you would have more people for the monthly basis. But in start you will have to reduce your payment to weekly.

Thank you for your interest.

I can make weekly payments (1,25%) for the first 2 clients. Then, I am going to switch it to monthly.

Best
I think you need to do more on trust issues as it does not just come by saying just that I need to trust you. Your ability to convince me to trust you is even shaking as you're saying you will make weekly payments to two clients, is it to those coming to join or the previous 2 you had. Even your profile is not even helping issues.... My 2 cents...
2879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever got bonus in casino ? on: July 24, 2016, 03:21:55 PM
Have you ever got 1 btc bonus (wager the amount X35) and claim the bonus ?
or you don't care about bonuses when playing ?
Actually not in casino but in other betting site specifically sport invested a lot of amount to get the bonus with the hope of investing the bonus then withdraw the invested capital only to be told that the capital nor the bonus cannot be withdrawn but only winnings and it has been stated in the terms and conditions poor me. So I got the bonus couldnt withdraw it then blew it away by losing all without winning jack... My 2 cents..,

The future of Artificial Intelligence & Ethics on the road to Superintelligence

The human brain consisting of roughly 86 Billion neurons rivals the best
supercomputers in the world in orders of magnitude in efficiency and speed
using as little as a small light bulb of 20 watts.

Human evolution for evolving brain size & brain architecture change happens
in the span of 10,000s to 100,000s of years.

Evolution is a slow process that can take many eons for changes to occur.
However, it's amazing how fast the pace of technology is moving along,
blending in without much attention. The pace of change in technology
happens in a much shorter time span compared to evolution.

Imagine sticking a ... (Read more on Whyfuture.com)
