2861  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 24, 2022, 07:03:06 AM
Nothing will succeed if it is done without the buyin or even the understanding of the people. El Salvador enforced something that most people knew nothing about and then paid a lot of money to companies to help the government do it.

This forum too was full of people saying it was a great thing. Bitcoin doesn't automatically make a process good.

And why are we bringing price into the picture?

2 months away for me to get my maturity on the FUN I locked for a year. Didn't even realize how fast time flies, and in that time I kept calculations and have earned 30k satoshi just from WoF and freespins (not including wins but including interest).

Based on my total buy-in, this means I earned about 4% additional free satoshi from WoF only, but I didn't count my RPs. Lottery tickets all won nothing lol
2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betnomi.com ⚽️ Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion (Prize Fund 0.3 BTC) on: August 22, 2022, 06:45:48 AM
So I guess there is something like 20 of us already in this pool right? Meanwhile, bookmaker odds for UCL winner doesn't seem to have changed even with all the new transfers and ongoing results, so odds aren't going to be different anyway for those who made early ones.

And yes this means even Casemiro to United didn't do anything hehe
2864  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: August 21, 2022, 08:28:22 AM
Double victory and very good day for Sportsbet teams!
Arsenal won easy against Bournemouth and Southampton finally scored first win in this season against Leicester, and they turned around result in their favor.

I said few days ago that Mitrovic is going to score again for Fulham against Brentford and he did, in the minute of the match Smiley
Last season I followed him in Championship, but it's amazing to see him continue with same force in Premier League, he is currently best goal scorer in Premeir league with three goals!

Arsenal winning was probably something expected, their form has been amazing from the start, but Southampton win was massive I think, especially when they had to come from behind, away, and not being the favorites.

Fulham are going to need Mitrovic to keep his performance up, he didn't really meet par last time but maybe he's become much better now, not sure, haven't really watched him play.
2865  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitdice delaying everything they can to kyc and withdraw on: August 21, 2022, 06:51:49 AM
I'm commenting here because I saw the title, and was a Bitdice user, investor and promoter (through the signature campaign) for over 2 years. Great times, amazing communication, but everything got ruined after the ICO. It still actually paid well and all that for about a year or so, but I think the problems really began once the new version launched, and after they stopped issuing reports I also ended my relationship with them.

Look them up on AskGamblers. Some of the complaints take weeks AFTER KYC. I hate to talk bad about a site that was kind and good to me with no problems but to read everything here and know that for other casinos they do not even ask KYC.

hat's ridiculous. Not surprised they're doing this now and it's very sad, I really did like them a lot, new owners I presume?

I messaged about this place a few times but really no one has responded except one but he/she ended up ghosting me and the issue was about... the fee. Gamblers in this place are half real people and half fake ones lol.

Anyway, still got time so I hope just many people will join late!

2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 19, 2022, 09:13:55 AM
Am I the only one who thinks the Mbappe vs rest of PSG thing is a bit overly covered and maybe even just made up?

I always did think there were too many stars at this team but I wonder if media is exaggerating a little just to make it seem like the whole team is in trouble?

Personally I don't like what Mbappe is doing but almost the whole team is professional and even without liking each other they can make it work on the pitch.
2872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 17, 2022, 03:19:05 AM
After just two rounds from the start of Ligue 1, you find PSG in the first spot alone as usual (without considering the delayed game between Lyon and Lorient of course).
We always heard how PSG is good because of money, picking top players...etc but what happens all the time is that the other teams are just failing and missing points vs weaker teams. Brest 1-1 Marseille was the newest thing but Lille, Rennes, Lens weren't any better..
PSG will play vs Monaco and Lille next. If it wins against them, I suppose by the 11th round (vs Marseille), the difference will be 10 points (again).

Reading about all the rumors of bustups between their stars now I'm even wondering if it's real, or if it's not even a thing that rivals are trying to play up.

Monaco and Lille better try and win their games otherwise we're going to have a boring season yet again.

btw snipie aren't you playing the Champions League pool? PSG picks maybe? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5408229.msg60662315#msg60662315

Sorry about the dropped points, Liverpool. Manchester City must feel like the biggest winners here, and Nunez, well, I read that Klopp has never managed a game with a sending off, something I actually never knew about Liverpool, in my memory I feel like they're one of the teams with a red card every now and then.

I'm doing very horrible in the pool. 50/60 After a top 5 finish is... being Manchester United lol
2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: August 15, 2022, 04:33:10 AM
I was hoping to post today with relief or something about Real Madrid's title defence after Barca's dismal performance.

I know it's only 2 points, but you know how precious these points are so early on in the season. Especially when it's the top 2 sides in the country.

Come on Valencia, remind us!!
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betnomi.com ⚽️ Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion (Prize Fund 0.3 BTC) on: August 11, 2022, 10:56:36 AM
I can only totally agree with cryptofrka. So now we have 20 participants, we are guaranteed half of them get prizes, and if I know how it goes all the seasons, about 10% of the pool drop off very early.

Freebets for yellow cap. You get your money back almost for sure, and big chance for prizes!

Thank you Steve for the freebets. I actually scored on 2 of them, I seem to do very well in French league last season, and right off the first games (cup included) I get them good. But ONLY with freebets lol

No complaining from my side for sure! Free entries to the EPL pool Smiley
