At the first launch of ORB there was massive protest on cryptsychat to add it there because the coin intended to help fund the building of a prototype Nazi Bell (50% premine).
I would never buy such coin, not even now that it has relisted on cryptsy with another story behind it. The creator of this is probably a lunatic.
As it was announced:
"Orbitcoin is helping to fund a prototype craft, based on the Nazi bell.. the plans for this craft will be open sourced to the population of the world as soon as they have working evidence to show."
ORB was delisted because of the huge premine (>60%) not because of supporting the Big Bad Evil and Most Heinous Nazi Bell. BTW what's wrong with die Glocke? |

Sexcoin is an existing one (Ticker: SXC) and I've made a good profit on it  . BTW both Bitcoin and Litecoin are missing from your list, however these two were used widely between drug/counterfeit goods/arms dealers, hitmans and smugglers for years... and I guess they still using them. So just to answer your question, yes I would. I used to do that . |

As some of you guys said, if the distribution is widespread, fair and transparent then it's OK. Certainly the devs can give away coins to themselves by using sockpuppet accounts but i think that not worse than the other forms of premine or even instamining.

Ups! All my coins are gone after the sync  . The transactions are seems to be OK but nothing turning on in the balance. Any idea? Try running 'repairwallet' in the debug console to see if any coins can be recovered. If you mined coins on a fork, they will probably be lost. If you sent any coins originally mined on the main chain when you were on a later on a fork, they can be recovered. When did you start mining? Thanks, repairwallet fixed the issue . Never mined CDC. I've got some from the original dev back in last August. I just rediscovered the wallet file on my disk. |
