2861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: January 12, 2020, 08:37:35 PM
Bridge is also a very high skill game that also requires a coordination with a partner.
New to my eyes mate, I really made some research about this and I found it was a card game, maybe it's not popular in our country so I haven't heard this one.

Roulette and dice are almost the same in the way your luck influences the outcome. I also prefer card games.
Played these many times and many times I lose also because it's hard to win consistently with luck alone.
It could be not my favorite game but I believe this type of game is really fun, especially if you have excess money to gamble for luck based games.

It's a very demanding card game. More difficult than poker and for this reason not as popular.

It shows how the game difficulty affects popularity. The most popular are easy games like slots. Poker is far less played and bridge is a tournament game due to the difficulty and longer rounds that's why it's not played in casinos. Most people are dumb and prefer something like "the higher card". For many of them poker is already hard as it is.

Slot machines are perfect: easy to play, with fast rounds, small bets, big jackpots to win with very  low probability, all the goodies people like Wink
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Storing crypto on an implant? on: January 12, 2020, 08:26:34 PM
You can put the implant into your hand and use it for small everyday payments. But, I do not recommend to store here all of your bitcoins because you can loose everything by a technical mistake, for example wrong payment details and even though you pay (much higher price).

That will not happen. You will have to verify and confirm every transaction. An implant will only give you your private key access every time you confirm it in the terminal. This means that people will not be able to touch you with a scanner and take your money and you also will not be able to pay without manually confirming the transaction.
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 11, 2020, 11:26:13 PM
I think that in general it's a good call but maybe not now. You have been holding altcoin bags all the way down but Bitcoin at that time was also losing value just slower.

Now you're thinking of selling altcoins and buying bitcoin when it's recovering and the price gap between it and altcoins have increased even more. I don't know what to tell you. You're in a very bad position anyway.
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto is good for long trading? on: January 11, 2020, 11:16:42 PM
bitcoin is the best coin to invest in, if you're looking for altcoins i think it's best to just stick with top altcoins with good reputation like ethereum, other than that it's better to invest some of your time in researching, don't trust people here throwing which coin you should invest, it's really important to do your own research so invest some time.

You didn't read OP's question. He was asking about good coins aside from Bitcoin!

The best answer is coins that are widely available, have high volume and are visibly following Bitcoin. I'd choose BTC but if you really want to trade something else try ETH or BCH. LTC is also following Bitcoin so trading it is like trading a more volatile and weaker version of the king Wink
You can also try one of the possibly promising coins like EOS, BNB, BAT, but it's risky.
2865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 11, 2020, 11:04:08 PM
I am now do long term trading. Not boring because day trading but really stressful for me. And don't know because i am not interested, or not my passion or maybe i am bad in it, after change to long term trading, it is not stressful anymore since i am not really much see bitcoin and ETH price in market since i hold both of that coins.

To make it less stressful you have to start playing with your profits. I know it's hard at first but if you get lucky with one or two good trades withdraw your investment leaving only profit on the exchange. Losing it will not harm your finances and you'll be able to invest more boldly. For me it worked well.

I agree that day trading is boring but so is writing articles translating texts, bounty hunting and many other things. That's why it's called work not pleasure.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 11, 2020, 10:54:02 PM
Actually I personally do not really believe that the increase in the value of BTC is caused by the war between Iran and the US, but the fact that the value of altcoin and BTC is increasing at the time of the situation, this is for me an issue brought that makes it a reality.

And how will you explain that the attack of the USA on Iraq coincided with the pump and the Trump's speech where he said that he will not retaliate for the counterattack on the US air force base was followed by a dump?
This is really looking like the news had an impact on the price but maybe you know better. It wasn't only BTC that pumped but also gold.
2867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 11, 2020, 10:46:47 PM

LOW RISK
1. Get stablecoins like GUSD, USDT
2. Register on crypto-bank services like BlockFi, Nexo, Crypto.com
3. Deposit your stablecoins there and earn like 10-14% (annual) interests

This is low risk to you? Buy a stablecoin that was supposed to be pegged to the dollar but is not. A stablecoin that is accused of being made of thin air to buy bitcoin from dumb people and put it on a centralized bank account that can be hacked or seized by the government.
Great risk mitigation.

In balanced risk you give the same degree to holding BTC and ETH. ETH is like 2 times more risky than BTC!

I call that a very inexperienced advice.
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Forks Are Bad? on: January 11, 2020, 10:37:23 PM
I like those forks. Smart people are calling them bitcoin dividends because they're free money given to bitcoin holders.

I made some profit selling BCH BSV and all the other B-xx shitcoins. I really cannot say they are a bad idea. Bad idea to hold that's for sure but I never say no to free money.
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: January 11, 2020, 10:26:19 PM
BSV is on its last legs and any pump is only a dead cat bounce nothing more. With every failure of Craig there's less and less people who believe him. The only good thing for him in all of this is that Calvin can pump it easier now because it's worth less fiat money.

It's not going to go anywhere but down in the long run. I wouldn't buy into this pump if I were you.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if quantum computer owners start to move the early mined coins? on: January 11, 2020, 10:18:24 PM
If quantum technology is ever put to use i'd be more afraid of your fiat money.

If encryption can be broken so are the bank vaults holding your money on the servers. Nowadays money making is not only done with printers. They add a few zeroes to your bank account and you're set. Nobody will know about it until it's too late.

Stop spreading FUD about quantum computers.
2871  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: January 11, 2020, 12:50:47 AM
Opinions change as we go up in price. It used to be that they were having elite clubs of people owning 100 bitcoins then 50 then 21 then 10 now it's 1 Cheesy

I can bet you that if we ever go to 50 thousand dollar bitcoin you're going to be in the elite if you even have 0.1 because kids and students won't even be able to afford it. You have 0.1 you're still big if you think that the minimum wage in some countries is $100 a month. Owning 1000 dollars in Bitcoin is already a big deal for half of the world.
2872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 10, 2020, 11:03:15 PM

To be exact, people are in gambling for the reason that they would like to win and have some money.
That's the main reason for majority of people but not for everyone though, because there are people who do have a lot of money to burn in gambling and they just find gambling the best way to enjoy their life even if they have to lose but they will never lose more than they can burn.

That was crazy actually if we've been addicted to gambling just for stress reliever, having fun or social engagement. What makes us relieve from the stress in gambling, if we are able to hit the jackpot prize.
Believe it or not there are people who consider gambling as a stress reliever, it may sound weird but those rich people have the capacity to gamble and lose money just to socialize with friends.

It's the same as spending some money in town for us poor folks. We go out, grab a drink at the bar for 4 times the price of it made at home, eat in a fancy restaurant.
Rich people had it all. They drink expensive alcohol and eat expensive food all the time. They have to spend much more money to get excited.
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 10, 2020, 09:47:33 PM
Don't lend him is the mind set of most of the people here and I agree with that too.No one should ever gamble with lend money or until they go bankrupt of their total saving if they do then no one will ever backup them for doing the same thing because the possible result will be complete loss again.
Indeed, lending money to a gambler who suffered losses is like letting him gamble again to chase back what they lost and worse repeat the same mistakes again. Words of encouragement to stop is enough help to someone who lose their money to gambling thats how they will realize they are wrong for playing without discipline and limitation.

It can also be an investment in him. If he gambles and gets lucky you'll earn some money the safe way. If you were gambling with your own money and lost you'd be responsible and could not demand compensation. If he loses your money and you have a written agreement, you'll be able to take him to court or demand him to pay back with his car or house.

I know it's taking advantage of him but this is the only silver lining that I can find.
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 10, 2020, 09:34:21 PM
Not really a mobile person when it comes to gambling as I take my sweet time to realize my luck and plan my bets and cant generally do when I am on the go. I personally prefer desktop when it comes to gambling or even work . I take out time during work to gamble a little or while at home when I  bored and looking for some excitement.

I also don't gamble on my phone because it feels even more addictive. If you have to take your gamling to work or with you to the bathroom you're starting to look like an addict.

Also where do I use my phone? Usually out. So at work, in public transport, while walking. I wouldn't want other people to know what i'm doing and avoid looking tense and emotional in those places.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: January 10, 2020, 09:12:03 PM
I have always preferred card games over dice games. The High/Low card game for example is very easy to play and is based on luck only. You don't need any experience like with poker or more complex games. it is not time consuming and you can see straight away if you made the right choice or not.
No in cards you can not rely only on luck but there are so many things you must know about cards. Cards need proper experience as new gamblers can not win from cards but it’s much easier than poker. Dice is also a good game that makes a profit for us. The card is also my favorite game as I like it and it’s easy for me.

It depends. Some require more skill than other. Poker is high skill game but blackjack is mostly luck. It just gives you more ways to decide than some very basic ways to play like betting on a high card.
Bridge is also a very high skill game that also requires a coordination with a partner. Roulette and dice are almost the same in the way your luck influences the outcome. I also prefer card games.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: January 10, 2020, 09:00:08 PM
ION was supposed to support games and developers and allow them to include crypto into their projects.

It's not doing that great as a coin price wise but it's a promising PoS coin if the altcoin season begins again.

Gaming on the blockchain is a great idea if done right but there's too many project at the moment trying to do the same thing and dividing the community and funding.

2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will YouTube launch it's own cryptocurrency. on: January 10, 2020, 08:54:15 PM
It would be a big step forward for youtube because they used to be anti-crypto for some time now. They want it to look like they're objective about it but they're not. Every big company is trying to support their best interest.

They won't do much in the space because of how Libra is failing but if Libra gets approved and launches we could see a YT coin.
2878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Market Is Manipulated on: January 10, 2020, 07:48:18 PM
BTC yesterday 8300$ but today 7760$, Why? its not normal.

This is in fact a normal price action. We had broken a key descending trendline of the bear market but then retraced back below it. I guess most traders got scared that the bear market is still in play and this pump is over. It was also a good moment to take profit if you entered  somewhere at 7500 - 7800.

We'll see if this is going to be a continuation or a dead cat bounce.
2879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you go to blockchain/crypto events? on: January 10, 2020, 01:52:24 AM
I'd think of going if it was taking place in Europe. CES is in Las Vegas which is beyond my reach. I've never been to the US and I'm not planning on going.

I would love to go in one but I am being fed up by my job right now and can't pretty much go to these events. I knew one close to our place last year, about 6-8 hours of travel, I want to go but my free time would be ending in 2 days so I thought it would just be disappointing to go there and just stay there for a day. I just hope I could go into one this year.

This is the problem with these things. They are for enthusiasts who have enough money to go to another country and stay there for a week. Basically if you have a stable work, don't earn a ton of money every year, maybe have a small child, you're out of the game.
2880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 10, 2020, 01:42:51 AM

with 0.03btc I have done 0.1 in 3 months, and I no longer count the projects where I have invested and which I find when it climbs dry, there is more money in altcoin to do than with bitcoin himself .. example beast, I take 0.1 btc of dogecoin, I can play all day martingale roulette and seen the sum in dogecoin token I assure you that by playing that by 10 dodge in a few hours you make your $ 100 of profit ... with btc these more complicated .... then when btc and go up from $ 1000 to $ 20,000, how much do we make the other altcoin? much more than btc, just need to be interested in the right project or if it wants to remain profitable while waiting for the rise of the btc which plays martingale and any matter when the btc explodes, the dodge will also explode, so for me btc is not not the most profitable in the long run Smiley this and my opinion

That was possible because since November Bitcoin was extremely volatile going down 1000 dollars and back. This doesn't mean it will keep happening every 2 months for another year.

Your point is valid though who knows how many percentage bitcoin will able to bring after the halving time. If OP is not in rush and willing to undergo
to learning process inside this industry, holding bitcoin have a lesser risk unlike with alts that in a short span of time you can lose up to 50% or more  of your  initial investment.

So what are you expecting? + 100% will take us close to 16 thousand dollars. + 200% will be a new ATH with 24 thousand. Even if that happens he's going to be holding $200 next year if he does everything right. Not worth the trouble.
