2881  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 12, 2021, 03:41:50 PM
almost all countries feel the effects in the tourism and culinary sectors, even some hotels and restaurants have to go out of business because they are unable to cover losses for operational costs
The hospitality industry has been gagged throughout the pandemic times and it will continue to suffer because even when the pandemic is over, there is a changed lifestyle we are experiencing and people have adapted to this new lifestyle slowly.

The economy for most countries is going to recover slowly though and I don't think any country is specifically hit harder than others so the market is going to remain low for a long time and when it's for everyone, it doesn't hurt anyone too much.

I think along with others our country is recovering well and although people are still hesitant to move as much as before, things are certainly much brighter than they looked last year.

-snip-
Really good advice!
Over the course of many years of working in the crypto industry, I have also come across a huge number of fraudulent schemes.
I don't even understand where so many educated in programming and so not honest people come from  Huh... As soon as BetFury.io develops stronger, a bastard will appear who will make a fake site.

As for BFG mining, I think this is a good option for players and obviously it attracts some of the players.
Well, it comes from the fact that $100 is actually a whole month's salary for some people, think about it this way, there are people who are college students in some third world nations, we are talking about like 200-300 dollars as whole month's salary for adults there, and this kid who knows how to code things can make 100 bucks per month just with one scam, it is seriously a lot.

Just the other day someone offered me $1000 for developing something similar for them, I could have taken it and not developed for them and that would be like a good salary for 2 months for me and I am a married person in a decent economy nation, think about someone in poor nation with bad economy, $1000 could be 10 months of life for them. So, it is definitely "profitable" to be bad person, no matter how much we dislike the situation it is unfortunately true.

Do I need KYC to bet on table tennis?  I've been using stake.com but I miss some pre matches at the TT Cup which is where I like to bet
KYC is more like "if we feel like there is a problem" here and not forced, which means as long as you do not face any troubles then you will not be asked to do that, which is why I think it is quite good. I know that it is not that easy for many places to do the same because they have legality problems and that is why they ask KYC beforehand even without betting first, but not here, these guys are doing much better on that front so you do not have to.

Like janngernaut said there are things that give you benefit if you have verified account but once again it is not forced and you do not have to do it. It is a great way to handle because in this method you can do whatever you want without kYC and you can ignore KYC request if you face a problem as well, just ignore the money which means if you deposit small amount you can go without KYC forever here.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 10, 2021, 08:12:23 PM
Nuggets never really had a chance during this playoffs without Murray, that dude is their second best player and even though MPJ stepped up and played decently, he is not at playoff level right now, so they needed Murray. It is great that they moved to second round, but I wouldn't be shocked if they get swept here, Jokic is MVP and certainly carrying the team very well but without your second player you are not going to be playing that well.

I personally care about the other side a lot more, Jazz versus Clippers, that is a very good series and I wonder what is going to happen there, we haven't seen anything that would dictate which team will win, sure Jazz won but I think it could turn around as well it wasn't that far off, without one block from Gobert we could have talked differently.
2885  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for work. on: June 10, 2021, 06:35:03 PM
It would be better if you can provide more details. You should mention some past samples along with the areas you might be good at writing. For example, one might be good at writing whitepapers and should look to get hired by the various new projects that are upcoming and if you are good at gambling content then seek work in that section.

For the record, I am not looking for any writers myself but as someone who has worked as a writer in past, I am suggesting that adding a portfolio and more details always helps. It takes an hour or two to present the thread better with more details and it's worth it.
2886  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to increase the Emojis ? on: June 10, 2021, 03:25:09 PM
I agree we need more emojis or at least an update in the current emojis because they look outdated and too simple right now. Although on a second thought I feel like that's the beauty of bitcointalk and the lesser use of emojis is what keeps the forum more serious and discussions are not turned into jokes. Sometimes having too many smileys can be a problem especially when we are using them at a forum like bitcointalk where almost all the senior community members talk with each other.

I also agree with @loyceV that we can always embed images when needed so the lack of smileys is not a concern and big thanks to @BlackHatCoiner and others for making me aware of the hidden ones, somehow I wasn't aware of them yet.
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 09, 2021, 08:18:50 PM
Jazz do play like a well oiled machine. I mean they are doing very well, and that is why I believe they will have a good chance of winning the league this year, only opponent for them in my mind is Nets. However last time I said "there is no way they can lose" to a team it was Lakers, I believed they would beat Suns very easily and look where we are, which means I am not that great at assessing team talent, which is why I think there is a good amount of chance that we may not see Jazz in finals if I am wrong again.

However Clippers is not that great this year neither, they barely won against Dallas and Jazz is first seed so it wouldn't really be a shock if they ended up losing neither, it is going to be a very entertaining series to say the least. If jazz keeps playing this team ball, they are really better than anyone else, not because their team is better on paper, but because they play with full chemistry.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $5000 to $1 million in 3 years and little over 2000 bets! on: June 09, 2021, 07:19:38 PM
Only obstacle that you will run into is you will make enemies with books and majority of the books will limit your and shut you down.
Earlier when players used to tell me that bookmakers limit players I used to think they must be cheating the site in some way but with time I have realized that if a player is winning too much and constantly, they will just limit the player. A few weeks back a viewer asked stake's owner Eddie why do I have limits on my sports betting? And Eddie clearly said that if you are good at sports betting, the odds provider just limits you. I was in shock because I never thought an admin would admit such a thing on the live stream.

I think odds provider are making things worse because they are able to limit any player anytime they want without any reasoning. If sportsbooks are expecting players to lose only all the time, they are making a huge mistake and soon they will end up banning all users because every gamblers has a day when he wins.

What do you guys think about the current countdown offer Italy to win and o1.5 goals @2.00 (with betbuilder you'll only get 1.88 and 1.94 if boosted).
Despite the good results coming from the side of Turkey, this should still be a win for Italy right ?

Both teams have very good defenses, I do not doubt that Italy has a better chance to win that game, but over 1.5 goals is tricky score, especially when the teams are playing their first game, I know they had a friendly and all but that was mostly about picking the registration and getting a bit of conditioning in, turkey for example had just one game with proper starters, rest was just bench players and all that, so I am not sure what is going to happen.

I would bet on Italy to win, which is a good bet right now and odds are cool, but 1.5 goals is something I am not sure about. It is a 2.00 bet, if it was a 3.00 I would take it without a second of thought, if it was 2.5 I would probably pick it again, not as certain but still would pick it, but at 2.00 it doesn't really worth the risk you know? You can still bet on it and there is a 50% chance you will win, but I just do not feel like 2.00 is high enough to entice me.

When I was part of the project I am working on right now, I have seen so many type of scams that you wouldn't believe in it! There were fake tokens to trick people, fake websites (phishing as we all know) that looked exactly the same as our website, twitters that are fake replying under our tweets as "you won!" and so forth to get money, basically there are about 10 different methods I have seen but these are the most known and unfortunately successful versions of scamming people.

This is why I would advice everyone to stay away from scammers as much as you can and only take a look at the original website. I personally put the website in my favorites on opera, that way I just click on it to go to website and do not have to google or anything like that, that is a good step, plus when you are looking at the twitter make sure the handle is exactly same as the original in tweets, that would help as well.
2891  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ignitebets.com - Casino Solutions & Poker - Startup a casino platform! on: June 08, 2021, 05:23:10 PM
I think this topic belongs to the services section because you are offering a service and a product and this gambling section, through my understanding is meant for casinos/sportsbooks to list their sites. You may move it there or wait for moderators to do it because I might be wrong.

As I understand, this isn't an actual casino but they are a developer. I've noticed that each page should be clicked on your page. And the scroll is just staying on that particular section that has been clicked.
It's better if it's scrollable and the page would just change as the visitor scrolls it.
They are providing casino services to people who are looking to build their casino and want developers so yeah they ain't a casino of their own. I always feel that 3rd party developers don't work as fluently as in-house developers because whenever a casino owner buys these scripts, there is a fear of bugs and glitches and things may get out of hand very quickly.
2892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: June 08, 2021, 09:21:41 AM
Well, you do know that eth is also facing the same problem that bitcoin is facing right now? Bitcoin is still alive till today because of how good it is. And when it comes to transaction bitcoin is one of the most secure cryptocurrencies for transactions, only the fees is what discourages a lot of people from making use of it.

Even at that I have seen companies that sends payments using bitcoin, and I have not seen any company that is making use of any other cryptocurrency apart from this. If you’re going to be using transaction as a comparison, for sure there are lots of cryptocurrencies that are a lot better for transaction, but Ethereum wouldn’t be the choice for me, Tron is even better when it comes to making transactions.

There is no exact date for it but I believe we can trade it this month, I think betfury team is renewing the contract for BFG because most likely the BFG will be on the BSC network and they have to adapt it to the old contract. today BSW Price $1.3 seems to be growing.
Advance congratulations to those who have a BFG token because once the new contract is done, the prices are definitely going to go up in value. I don't have any BFG and I regret not getting any.
I do have a bit of BFG but I do not know what to feel about this at all, I feel like this is a good amount of deal to handle but I also feel like it may not go up as much as people believe it would, maybe it would be basically the same price.

Plus remember we used to have something like a "gamble to earn" type of deal, now it is not going to be like that, what are we going to get to farm it? In order to swap a token at the LP you have to basically be getting something, which could be any other token, you could offer bnb all we care, but I think most of the time when something is listed that drops the price of it because it gives the chance to sell it and get money you can spend daily, and that is the problem with the first days of getting listed. I hope that we do not face that thing here as well but I believe it is not going to be simple to handle that.

It is in our minds. If you make radical changes like that you always end up getting as many complaints from people who liked it the way it was as you do compliments from people who like the new one. One idea we had recently was to make a new version that was optional to change to. We might do that eventually.
That is good to know. I agree that whenever you make a big change there will be a ton of people who hate it, I remember when reddit made a change to the new one there were tons of people who hated it, and there are still people who use the old version even today, which you can reach by typing "old" on the start of the website, so they do give that right to people who want to use that but it has been years and I can't imagine using the old one now, the new one is so much better for me.

I think same could be done here, create a new design, give the old one like you said, and just never remove the old one, keep it there forever, and that way you could make people like me quite happy and I am 100% sure there will be people who will not be happy about the design change at first and then slowly get used to it so much that they can't go back to old one.
2895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: June 07, 2021, 05:06:45 PM
Currently Elon Musk has been able to have a negative impact on cryptocurrency price movements in exchange places and has received a lot of criticism from several parties. I am very sure that Elon Musk is currently being hated a lot because it has a bad influence on cryptocurrency.
He is not just being hated but I am sure he is responsible for a lot of suicides because he manipulated the market severely and there were tweets tagging Musk that they are going to suicide. I wish we never had the Musk curse in our community because manipulation after so many years seemed to come to an end but this guy has again started the manipulation.

He continues to be an inconsistent person about this market. He tweets negatively about it first, then he changes his mind again. He does this all the time. Mostly short term investors are angry with him I think.
People who consider him god are the ones who actually suffer because when this moron talks high of crypto people buy a lot of coins but this guy has no self-esteem and his words mean nothing as he can make any tweet randomly without thinking about the impact it would have on his followers.
2896  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 07, 2021, 04:34:18 PM
Hello I have been doing online jobs since 2018. I started with crypto. At that time i earned many form cypto. But unfortunately i missed the bull run. I sold all in 2019. If you free time there are many freelancing sites . Just check on the website. In comparison with your experience i also had some huge losses from trading.. I'm always thinking to do online jobs in addition to main job.
Trading isn't for everyone, I learned that during years of trading but you can make some changes to adapt your own style. Unfortunate that you missed the bull run but at least you gained some valuable experience and should use that in the future. Panicking and early selling are the two worst feelings in the crypto market.

There are a lot of jobs to earn money from home and generate a stable income, for me bounty is my life and I work on it every day even though the money is not quite big but I am still passionate about it, like it's my life.
Not a bad idea either because rich people can invest in the same project where you work for them and earn those coins. So you basically work and earn while others will invest and earn from the same project. Since we are talking about bounties, there are many scams coming out in the past few weeks so be careful and make sure you work under a known manager and coins/funds are escrowed.
2897  Economy / Economics / Re: How to protect from inflation? on: June 07, 2021, 03:59:52 PM
TD;DR

There might be many ways of neglecting inflation and I will share one of them below. I have never tested it so correct me if I am wrong about it.

1- You live in a country where the inflation rate is high.
2- You pick a developed nation that faces the least inflation maybe like the U.S.
3- You then buy the currency of that country with all your savings.
4- Now as inflation happens you don't face it because you always had your money as dollars (or whatever you picked) so you will easily overcome it or at least minimize it.

I wonder if this works or I am missing something.
2898  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: June 07, 2021, 03:01:53 PM
Either ignore here and never gamble again and just forget that this place ever existed, or try to explain what can be done so that I will continue to gamble here, we picked the second option.
We have no other options except accepting their terms/rules  if we want to use their service. But if we do not want to use their service/ we want to ignore their service then they have no question. We can just give our opinion what would be best for us/users. And it will be the choice of admin either that will be considerable or not.
I do not agree with that. I mean sure if we want to keep gambling here then we have to accept their terms and rules, we can't just say "I do not accept the terms and will still gamble" that is not an option. However I think when there is something a place does that you do not agree with, you should have the power to raise your voice and say what you think is the right thing to do, I personally believe that there is a good amount of people who agree with me as well so all I am doing is there is something I think they are doing wrong and I am talking about that.

I am not saying that they have to change it, they will 99.99% chance will not change anything, but if we give casinos all the right to do whatever they want without voicing our concern then they will start to change stuff that are way too important, what are we going to do if they change house edge to 10%? Would that be okay? Everyone will leave, which means we need to tell them what we dislike before they reach that level.
2899  Other / Archival / Re: Is a demo account necessary for a beginner trader? on: June 07, 2021, 09:51:58 AM
I believe it is very important and necessary to practice trading with a demo account as a new trader. You get to explore strategies without the risk of losing any money. You can test strategies and know which works best for you.
Yes, one should acquire basic trading knowledge via demo trading accounts which helps in reading charts, how to implement indicators and you can also test various signal providers and make a list of good ones and later use them when you trade.

it would be unwise for a trader to believe demo trading is all there is to trading. I believe it's necessary to also practice trading with some amount of money one can afford to lose. That way, one would be under the pressure of losing money and that would prevent one from making unnecessary and irrational trading decisions.
Demo trading accounts are just meant to teach you various features like stop loss but you need to trade with money to acquire skills like how to avoid panicking. One should learn with demo trading accounts and once they feel they are ready for trading, start with 1% of your actual capital and see how it goes for a few weeks at least. Once you are regularly profiting and feel capital is lacking, it's time to GO!
2900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 07, 2021, 06:02:56 AM
It all depends on what you are good at and what suits you more. You cannot expect a painter to innovate and can't ask an engineer to paint. None of them is better than the other it is all about what suits you.

For me, I have never done Forex trading seriously so I don't know how profitable it is but I have been into crypto trading for years and I can easily tell you that while it's volatile and risky it also gives you massive earning opportunities given that you are wise enough to recognize and make trades properly. If you have a good ability to analyze projects then you should do altcoins trading and if you know nothing about them, the best way to earn is just by holding and selling at a higher price, buy at a dip/correction and repeat.
