2881  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OneHash.com - invitation for Bitcoin affiliates on: March 19, 2016, 06:52:28 PM
I know very well about onehash and I can proudly say that I am a fan of this site and now I am seeing a affiliate program
there. It is really a good and charming concept for me as affiliate worker. I have worked several affiliate marketing sites, I would love to work for onehash also. I hope I can achieve something with doing affiliate marketing with onehash.com.
2882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 06:44:43 PM
yes there are a lot of problems that don't help "median" user to embrace btc:

- unstable prices
- scam risk
- you have to study how to use it
- you need to understand how save your coins

After all are these the best problems with btc....as my friends says when I talk about it.
The first one, which is “unstable price” matters more because with that those people who are unaware with trade and are not efficient to covert their bitcoin to fiat will try to stay away.
2883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 18, 2016, 06:33:00 PM
Probably the privacy and anonymity gossip, it is still relatively private but all the transactions are visible in the network..
The actual meaning of anonymity in bitcoin is that whenever a transaction occur then the sender and receiver does not know the details of each other but they know each other from that username with which they have introduced each other.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 18, 2016, 06:17:26 PM
I think trading is less like gambling because there is a lot more strategy and potential for knowledge to actually be applied in the stock market, as opposed to gambling which is typically based on random chance.

strategies, knowledge,... are really hard things to archive, and use, especially in trading. many people just jump in trading without them and it's like gambling.
Yes, if a person is in trading without any knowledge and he/she is losing continuously then it is definitely gambling. Also if he do not care about his time and is wasting his time more than earning then I will call it gambling.
2885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: March 18, 2016, 06:03:40 PM
I'm in a loss at the moment... My biggest borrower defaulted after just a couple payments...
There's a guy buying notes, but i need to verify my account in order to trade them Sad
Guess it's not worth my time, so i'll basically stop investing and disregard my (small) loss and write it off as learning costs.

What is the borrowers rating who defaulted over you

This one was A+, everything verified, clear picture, long loan history,...
He was asking for a 55 BTC loan while he repayed 200+ BTC in the past. Together with his rating, i tought he was a realiable loan, but then he defaulted Sad

Borrowing 55 btc at once sure triggers red alert. Thats totally 25 % of all his repaid loan and as far as Im aware, people usually lost huge for borrowing A+ rating lender . The rating is totally stupid and btcjam should forbid these kinds of high amount to prevent more of this to happen in the future, something like limiting it to X btc would be ideal to avoid huge lost IMO
I also will suggest that in deals like banks offering loans where the governments usually have to involve so that schemes like that run securely and remain best same way BTCJam is perfect if securely managed and monitored for those people who give loans to help others.
2886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can I use a visa debit card to buy BTC or another crypto? on: March 17, 2016, 07:37:08 PM
If you have payza then you can easily buy bitcoins with your credit card, just top up your payza account with your card and then withdraw this balance to your Bitcoin wallet, The option for BTC withdrawal is available at Payza.
2887  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price should I buy at? on: March 17, 2016, 07:27:23 PM
The lowest price that is possible for you, you must buy it. That is very important. It is not good to buy Bitcoin at a high price.
It has now not a very good time to buy it because the value is not that low and its better to wait for the value that will be more down.
No, now is not the time to wait more, now is not the time when bitcoin will come down but is increasing to height as the period of halving is coming sooner within a few months, so buy now.
2888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 16, 2016, 07:51:54 PM
Before creating Bitcoin and other altcoins, criminals and terrorists used fiat and cash for illegal activities , and they still using it till now as noticed in news. So accusing only Bitcoin for this purpose coulden't be true, in my opinion.
Yes for centuries, criminals are working their way and they use money whenever and wherever the require, so not when bitcoin is introduced as a currency and everyone is using it, among whom criminals are also included, then why bitcoin is blamed.
2889  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India? Not for a LOOOOONG time. on: March 16, 2016, 07:37:58 PM
I think the lack of adoption is because India has a stable currency, a stable central bank and a democratic system. So there is no urgency to adopt BTC.

Whereas in China, people are desperate to get their money out, and in places like Argentina and Venezuela, inflation is so high, people are using BTC because it's not losing it's value and is easier to get hold of than dollars.

Are you serious? inflation is everywhere? hello?

There is inflation as long there is such thing as fiat, maybe the inflation at current situations is lower then u.s. which I highly doubt. But the main focus in india isnt noticed because theres no start ups there.

Even here in the silicon valley, regular people only heard of bitcoin so its obvious in the 6 years of growth it needs some marketing..
There in India the digital world  has more fame and more people are interested in internet, the thing which is of need, there in India the Computer colleges and academies must have to give knowledge about bitcoin to all of its students.
2890  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 16, 2016, 12:08:33 PM
It wont replace dollar soon maybe in the future yes.
Who knows what the future could bring maybe bitcoin is not the mainstream digital currency.

i think the chance will be 1:1.000.000.000 , U.S. dollar is strong currency, backed with gold, I doubt bitcoin can replace dollar in future.
Dollar is a currency of a separate nation while bitcoin is a currency of everyone so everyone will opt for bitcoin whenever it became more advance and got stability at some extent.
2891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 16, 2016, 11:57:37 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

The euphoria that it gives the brain when you win. It's something that you crave. The feeling of winning. Or the chance of winning. I mean just imagining yourself winning a very huge amount gives you enough stimulus to gamble, Gamble everything at some point for a small chance of winning.
Yes they think that you can win indeed. But you lose always more money and that is very bad. They must know that gambling is very bad to do.
And of course it is fun to do. But you need to have borders for yourself. Otherwise you will get poor and that is not good.
The aim and hope to win at this time make people more and more addictive towards it, and so the winner and loser both do not leave it . The winner play because he know he will win and the loser tries to recover his lost money.
2892  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 16, 2016, 11:50:14 AM
Genders don't play a part in using btc to be honest, cause even guys might feel btc is dodgy or shady. (Whatever you call it)

Thanks, I kind of waited for a reply like this. Indeed in the modern world where women receive the same education as men there is no reason to think that women are less educated. Since Bitcoin is used mostly by educated people it can be used equally by both genders.

There is no need to motivate women to use Bitcoin, they are using it already and will be using it in the future.
Yes, it does not matter the gender. Bitcoin is adopted whenever someone find the way of its use and learn about it no matter what is gender. While if someone whether male or female do not have knowledge about bitcoin, it will be harder to motivate them to use it. So spread its knowledge to spread it.
2893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft apologizes: We still accept bitcoin on: March 16, 2016, 11:38:31 AM
If we look into the interest of people in adopting bitcoin, then we can realize that sooner bitcoin will establish and take over the whole internet and business on it. Microsoft too must have realized this and reversed it's decision.  Grin
2894  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 16, 2016, 09:49:45 AM
I think bitcoin has no government and we are free to use it.. Only the fee as taxes we need to pay is the every transaction you made to some.. But not all wallet has a fee for every transaction you made.. like coinbase.. .No one can control bitcoin we are anonimous so we should need a freedom using bitcoin..
Yes due to not having government there is freedom in the use of bitcoin. Only the internet is the government of bitcoin, bitcoin is available everywhere and to anyone where and to whom internet is available.
2895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 16, 2016, 09:23:05 AM
It is very trusted to put your real money in I think.
But price volatility makes me stop putting more. Sadly.
I hope it will improve in future and stabilize.
The price is not volatile but actually it is fluctuating, and if you notice the decrease is not faster than increase. We can see increase more than the decrease so putting your money in bitcoin is not a lose.
2896  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 15, 2016, 08:50:26 PM
Impossible to tell now because there are so many variables, How much exactly would be sufficient for you to retire "in USD"? How much BTC would worth in 20 years "which is impossible to tell lol" but probably around 1000 BTC.

Even if it is USD it is hard to tell also. We dont know if USD will also fall in the coming years. I guess it will the precious stones and metals who will be really valuable in the future.
Yes he has to have a stable business for relying on it as a retirement fund. Because not only bitcoin but with any currency it is the situation that if its value fell then you fell and will have nothing.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 15, 2016, 08:42:28 PM
I went gambling because I'm boring,
I like to bet a team, and watch the whole live show,
that is so excited and sometimes disappoint too
really hard to quit

This is like the story of your life everyday.
If you dont stop doing this then your going to broke, except if your daddy is really that awesome and is paying for all of this or you are a good businessman with a lot of money in your pocket. Just thinking about doing all that you said makes me think that it takes many bitcoins to do that all.
Don't worry about that, i just play small amount between 0.001 - 0.01 btc or maybe $10 cash everyday. I wouldn't bet all my money into it, that will be silly
A genius idea, with that you can be remain secured. In gambling there is 50% chances of winning and 50% of losing so if a person put all his/her money and lost them then he will remain poor to play again.
2898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin invest on: March 15, 2016, 08:30:07 PM
i know bitcoin itself is already an investment but i have 3 bitcoin sitting around and I'm looking for a quick 5% flip any idea??
I do not think there is a safe and feasible investment bitcoin now, why not you trading bitcoin in local exchanger that's more safe than you put your money on investment site.
But there is, the safe and feasible bitcoin investment, that is to start your own website. He can start a good website by investing a small amount and there with google adsense, other ads networks or by selling the ads spaces he can earn a huge amount of money.
2899  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: can i earn bitcoin with software or boss ? on: March 09, 2016, 01:31:54 PM
You can earn money by using bots and software. Because I noticed that so many faucets were attacked by bots and they are loose their money without any traffic. and so many faucets were died because of boats. So if you want to be a villain in faucet industry then you can do it. Because it is an illegal work and no one suppose to do it. Even you can't do this for long term because all faucets will dead and there will not be any faucets to earn money.
2900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? (Profit/Loss) on: March 09, 2016, 01:15:13 PM
My gambling stats are bad, especially on sportsbook. I loss around 5 bitcoins ++ and it will keep grows because i always do gambling and rarely get profit.
I won 20$ once in playing slot but not in bitcoin but every time I try to play dice I lost my money . So, my luck is with playing slots and I play slots whenever I have time to play.
