Max supply is unlimited...however coins will get burned through transactions/usage Just need to get to the point where there actually are transactions and usage for the siacoins to get burned! Not sure when this will actually be achieved, and with all the asics on the way.... you'd hope burning starts sooner rather than later. we are going to have to reset the blockchain ..nothing to fear lol |

To be truly effective, all these efforts require close international cooperation. Since crypto-assets know no borders, the framework to regulate them must be global as well. They are screwed. Do any exchanges yet allow the deposit and trading of BTCP?
Also, are there others that will in the near future?
Currently you can trade in TradeSatoshi and in Nanex (Nano to BTCP and vice versa). HitBTC announced support before fork, but they don't have BTCP listed yet. KUCOIN traded BTCP for a while, but then closed the market. Now there is some conversation between BTCP devs and KUCOIN. Well if kucoin closed the market then you better sell all your bitcoin privates now because kucoin found out it was a scam This is why binance and kucoin are hard to get on they are strict. It will not go away this easily without showing us dead cat's bounces over and over again. Just see lats time it from $7 went to $15 approximately. It isn't more bad than Bitconnect which is also showing speculation by going up and down periodically. It is purpose of existence is fulfilled by BTCP.
For as long as people keeps mining this coin the price will still float around that price. for traders point of view its consider a dying project and far from being alive. No, it doesn't go that way. If there're no buyers/traders, and miners keep mining it, its price will ultimately fall as miners will continue to dump it. No holders/buyers/traders and more miners = value goes down. ZCL we are planning the next fork(10-1) to occur around 4:20 to promote legal cannabis in North America :-D weeee |

surely if you don't sell them, it's not yet money... just keep 'em in the wallet. But it is money. You can pay with litecoin no problem. As long as you can use something to pay for something else, shouldn't it automatically be considered 'money'? when you sell is the key.....if the price is high ...you sell ..to cover expenses...if the price is low you have to sell more also in the USA cryptocurrencies are considered property...if you sell before 1 year and 1 day it is 40% on capital gains and 10% to my state taxes (more or less) and it is 20% on capital gains and 10% tax man..in that most of my LTC was at around $4.15 as you can tell this is gonna suck! by the by ..I'm retired and trying to live off ALT hoard (saving BTC hoard) for the next 3 years..with hopefully mining at least into Fall 2018 worst case thus have to keep ahead of the taxes that MAY be do..month to month..don't want to be caught behind the curve to tax man..if mining stops and income from such stuff stops...or again..if price is low more ALT coins out the door like LTC to cover that optional stuff like: food/heat/clothing/medical etc  Sell OTC, tell nobody.. ! Funny enough.. i recall you saying that you were out of mining at the end of 2015... you're an old miner like me, you'll mine on until the day they put you in the ground brother!! I see the weekend rally is over... currently $9283USD/$11904CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Was it perhaps because the Gox bankruptcy dump was put on hold for the weekend?
Hope I don't need any emergency cash. I hate to sell any time. I'd especially hate to have to sell now with the price so low.
