How many BTC do you gamble with? (both win/lose, usual amounts)

Gambling with Bitcoin is fairly new to me but used to Binary or cash betting in sport. However, I have given it a trial and lost and as a risk averse person I stayed out to learn a little bit more before going back into it. So I will say I have gamble < 0.01 btc over the few weeks I have been involved with Bitcoin betting guess it will increase in the coming weeks after learning well...my 2 cents...
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 7-WINS IN ROW Challenge by Bitcoinprofit , Watch me in the great run 8) on: July 24, 2016, 07:38:37 AM
Hello guys, you all know me from my horse betting tips on this forum, i'm bored
so im presenting a challenge to myself just to prove that I can do it.

The goal of the challenge :
*Win 7 matches in row
*Prove that it can be done Cool
*Minimum Odd 1.40!

Can we follow you:
*No, bets will be Live In-Play by the time I submit and share the tip here, it will be too late.
*Win streaks are rare.
*No need to sacrifice your own funds, following someone that isn't a expert.

What if you lose:
*I can start over if i feel like it

What proof do we have that you arent fixing the matches:
*Transaction Ids will be posted for verification purposes.

EDIT:
To make things more interesting i won't do single bets

I will attempt to win 7 independent Parlays back to back.

Not to be confused with one 7-leg parlay.
In as much as I believe that gambling is on chance, I also understand that one can maximise gains and reduce the risk attached if a perfect understanding of the trend is present in which the OP has presented to possess so I am going to wait patiently and understand if its possible to practice some of the tips and make gain. Simple knowledge won't kill after all... My 2 cents...

The future of Artificial Intelligence & Ethics on the road to Superintelligence

The human brain consisting of roughly 86 Billion neurons rivals the best
supercomputers in the world in orders of magnitude in efficiency and speed
using as little as a small light bulb of 20 watts.

Human evolution for evolving brain size & brain architecture change happens
in the span of 10,000s to 100,000s of years.

Evolution is a slow process that can take many eons for changes to occur.
However, it's amazing how fast the pace of technology is moving along,
blending in without much attention. The pace of change in technology
happens in a much shorter time span compared to evolution.

Imagine sticking a ... (Read more on Whyfuture.com)

2885  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: July 23, 2016, 10:40:30 PM
Right now i am earning close to 0.01btc per weak with my signature campaign but i just dont know what to do with them.I want to grow them and reach a good amount of btc but only collecting will take a long time to reach a good amount. So i start to gamble with them and till now since 3-4 weaks i have lost all my signature campaing earnings.I win at the start but i become greedy and gamble more and then lost them.
So i decided not to gamble with them can any one tell me what are the other options which i can do with my earnings.
In my own opinion in addition to what other have suggested is that you should rather invest or cultivate the habit of saving. The amount you are earning to some, it might be peanuts while others it might be peanut individually but we cannot stay like that if kept together for few weeks, it could be enough to invest and earn reasonable returns. And if you must gamble, you should apportion based on the choice of course action...

Looks like this time it may not have been ISIS this time, but they're still confirming details, this doesn't seem like a bunch of random acts to me anymore, it's like there's a guerilla war going on in Europe.
I would say we should probably not jump the gun as several investigation are ongoing as at then we can now comment be cause when issues like this happens there are various conspiracies and counter conspiracies coming as a result of that. So until the German Authority comes out with a position or a group claim responsibility for such drastic and unfortunate incident...my 2 cents..,
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [TEST] Buy a piece of my bets! on: July 23, 2016, 08:11:35 PM
Is the participation prize included?

I think it is risky because if you get first place you'll get 0.5 BTC probably and 0.25 will go for investors and they will get only 0.05 BTC for share
I think its also risky as any investment with mouth watering bonus deserves proper analysis as what is even coming at the end of the day could actually be a form of peanut... My 2 cents...
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 23, 2016, 07:16:24 PM
Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue
I agree with you that both possesses a common characteristics which is on the basis of winning on both which is chance although that makes them similar but not the same thing because what differentiate them is the amount of risk involved and this is a major factor in deciding which one to go for out of the two options... My 2 cents...
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: July 23, 2016, 07:08:01 PM
Do you bet big like 1 BTC in hope to win 50 BTC with a huge risk or do you do small bets?

Bet big to win big? Or bet small over a long time to be safer?
I personally as a risk averse individual will go the small bets over a long time to be safer rant her than the other way around in which I could make more money as easy as I could lose my investment within a twinkle of an eye. That being said I wished everyone should go with that approach... My 2 cents...
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: July 23, 2016, 06:10:38 PM
I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.

EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.
In this 21st century, even kids have access to internet, and even the 18 you suggested is even too much for the exposure this days as there is no control whatsoever to confirm if I'm truly 18 or not just a confirmation and that's it. So its not impossible to have below 18yrs before gambling. In short its not only gambling we should be concerned about but other social vices like cyber crime , ponography etc.., my 2 cents...
2891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 23, 2016, 05:32:19 PM
The newly elected President Rodrigo Duterte wants to stop the online gambling here in the Philippines. Its because they cannot collect tax from it and they don't want people to become addicted to it. What is your side ?
That's the very lame excuse to give by a responsible government for a reason for ban. I think its just a means to call a dog a bad name in other to hang it and from my position that's just it. What a reasonable government is to put in policies and machineries to reduce the extent of tax evasion in that area to increase revenue... My 2 cents...
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 U.S. Presidential Election Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2016, 04:56:33 PM
I think Hilary will win this time, Trump is just a show men, and I think he made a great show with this campaign for president. I think some of his promises are to radical.
I will thin twice before I put any bet on this, maybe I will even sit out this one. I don't like neither of them.
I see Trump is leading here for now, maybe it will be very close win for any of candidates.
I will still give to Hillary Clinton anytime because I believe she will win. However, since I'm unable to vote then I can still make my opinion known on this platform,  Donald Trump to me is arrogant, and have nothing to offer so the American populace and even his own view of life is so annoying to me as a person. However, the choice is meant for the american populace to make their decision in November... My 2 cents...
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite game (gambling) on: July 23, 2016, 04:35:13 PM
What is your favorite game?
-dice
-sport
-blackjack
-poker
-roullete
-sicbo
-binary

Some people play for fun but some people play for life.
I would go for binary because thats what I mostly go for, then followed by dice and finally sport in that order.  Binary is the one I have lost and never won anything but lost all my  investment but I still play irrespective of my loss so I go for that as my favorite game... My 2 cents...

Transactions in legal tender do not necessarily require any internet connection. But unlike legal tender, Bitcoin is necessarily associated with the internet. So, even maximum possible transactions in the digital currency are bound to be less than legal tender, at least in foreseeable future. However, as a medium of exchange and fund transfer, Bitcoin enjoys some distinct advantages over fiat money.

Here is an article on the future of bitcoin. Would like to have community feedback on it...

Being able to easily transact without an internet connection is one of the advantages of cash over BTC at the moment, IMO.  It is a huge advantage of BTC to be able to make large transaction with BTC without suitcases full of cash though...
The future of anybody or anything even Bitcoin cannot be said to be certain as no now can tell how the future will be as we can only predict based on the factors we have at hand as well as holding some other factors constant as this is also the case of Bitcoin as various predictions and counter predictions have been made some have been corect while others have been refuted and this are factors beyond an individual control. So I would propose that the future will take care of it self... My 2 cents...
2895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Been Kicked or Banned? on: July 22, 2016, 10:55:19 PM
In physical casinos, I have heard of people getting 'asked' to leave because they are winning too much(I've never been in one to know)-- I always thought this wasn't right, since the business pretty much rips everyone else off, and it's unfair if someone is really that lucky, but whatever, that's just the crap you got to deal with!

So I was wondering... have any of you been banned or 'dismissed' from the more popular online casinos because you were that skillful and/or lucky?

I'm not talking about using the free money they give you and making wild bets (I can understand why a site would ban you for that...)
I have been banned on a site cos I won a lot and to withdraw all I get is a email of multiple accounts and I was banned which could be likened to a situation of casino in the real world whether online or offline I have been banned and was equally cheated, who will I call no one of course but that's a long time ago can't even remember the site any longer... My 2 cents...

Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again?

What are the reasons you come back to gamble?
After losing then I give it enough time to get over it. Then the feeling of you possibly recovering your money start coming in then you Dont Know when you find yourself back in the game hoping to win then lose again and the cycle continues... My 2 cents...
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: July 22, 2016, 07:05:59 AM
We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?
That's true to a large extent for example sport betting as you're convinced that if Ronaldo should play then I could win unlike gambling but the fact is that they both relies on chance but one has higher chance than the other... But I believe the higher the risk the higher the return which appeals to individual attitude to risk to choose which one to go for... My 2 cents...
2898  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it stealing when you get the funds from an address you find? on: July 21, 2016, 07:29:08 PM

Let's say you find an address which has funds on it. More precisely - of course - you find one of the private keys to that address.

case A)

You found that key by "brute force" aka lot's of effort and lots of luck. You seize the funds. Is it stealing?

case B)

Your wallet generates that address aka no effort and lots of lots of luck. The funds appear in your wallet balance. Is it stealing?

I'm asking, because a collision attack is considered infeasible. It seems not forbidden (because you can't forbid or effectively hinder this attack on a public ledger) - so is it illegal?

Let's assume two parties were known who made claims on the funds of a given address. One party X was the one who "really" put the funds in there, the other Y was the one who found the private key. If Y took the funds - would that legally be considered stealing?

I'm asking, because I have given this some thought while my computers are performing a Collision Attack feasibility study and in the meantime I had ... time.  Cool

I found myself being legally quite bare in this matter. Especially regarding the question:

"Does one OWN a privkey/pubkey combination?" (I think no)
"Does one OWN the blockchain?" (obviously no)

But if one does own neither, how can he own the balance the blockchain defines as on that given address?
IMHO, the one OWNS the balance who owns the privkey/pubkey combination and that may very well be several persons.

And then? Can someone please bring at least some fundamental light into this matter for me?

Rico

Its stealing from the moral point of view irrespective of how you want to paint it because the money didn't just appear there out of the blue someone put it there for his own use which in true fact, you've denied him/her of that purpose so from the moral point again its stealing no matter the circumstances that ledn to it... My 2 cents...
2899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 21, 2016, 06:16:11 PM
the worst mistake i made is greedy. play again and again after winning. and at the end  i lost
Worst mistake to me that anyone can make, is to believe that he will win or will continue winning, or after losing believing in revenge that he will have to win back what he has lost by still gamble because with that you will be guided by subjectivity rather than objectivity and that's is the major or worst mistake to make in gambling... My 2 cents...
2900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: July 21, 2016, 04:19:42 PM
When do you stop? Do you have a daily limit or something?
This is the very much simplest thing for me to do which is when the money I invested is depleted, without any returns then Im not moving any more funds into it in which in the first place is the amount of money I can afford to lose so, eventually when I lost it, then I stop, it could be within 5 minutes or 24 hours... my 2 cents...
