We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?

That's true to a large extent for example sport betting as you're convinced that if Ronaldo should play then I could win unlike gambling but the fact is that they both relies on chance but one has higher chance than the other... But I believe the higher the risk the higher the return which appeals to individual attitude to risk to choose which one to go for... My 2 cents...

For me both are same because some people call it gambling and some betting. In sports betting or on casino games same risk involve. Nobody can say this he will keep him on winning streak with betting or gambling. so that I also will do agree with you.

Sport betting and casino gaming are quite different game play for me. A lot of casino games are designed in such a way that you have a disadvantage against the house. In this way you are more likely to lose. When sport betting, you are betting against the others with the house taking in a percentage of the bet. In this way, you are actually betting against the people and you can improve your odds by improving your skills/research. That is why some people here can survive on betting but i yet to hear anyone survive on gambling.

Sport betting isnt good like a  gamblinh beuacse we cant bet for free without depisiting miney from ozr own pockets but in gambling we can gamble without making deposr and earn huge amount of money.

I think he is comparing between gambling games like dice , blackjack , slot... , and sportsbook , and right they are different , because there are many sportsbook users who don't like or don't play the gambling games , and I am one of them , I prefer sportsbook to gambling games , because I have a good experience in sports betting so I can make profit more than playing dice or slot , whereas in sportsbook you don't need a lot of luck to win , while in gambling you need a luck . In my opinion that what OP wants to know  .

In betting you have high chances of win if you are thoroughly aware of teams and games. But gambling is 99% luck. Then also I am in loss in betting but profit in gambling. I have already left gambling but still trying my hands on betting with a hope to neutralize.

Betting has higher chance to win in my opinion, you don't have to beat house edge only pick the right choice. But if you always pick wrong team, gambling is better

gambling and betting both have the advantage, if you are doing betting there are limits, for example if you bet on soccer match, there will be around 10 match in a day, however if you are gambling you can play as long as you can until you dont have any money

how ever in betting you have chart and all kind of prediction,with sharp analysis your winning percentage is going to be high and sometimes the odds in betting is way better than gambling, and betting is using knowledge and luck while gambling mostly is only using luck

Yep. To me actually poker can be considered as a sport. It's a very cognitive and challenging game. Heavily calculating the odds and your opponents actions.. You can really win big.

Gambling and betting are the same when you compare the risk factor. I prefer gambling though since you have some control about the outcome, by placing bets you are 100% playing for or against your luck.

if I have two choices between Gambling and Betting, I might tend to prefer betting. because I liked it. some of the sports games we can enjoy, so it would be very nice if we watch it while betting, well if you do not do that, maybe you'll get sleepy and lazy to watch the match

precisely, sport betting is far better for those who do not have a skil and skills in sports other than gambling. Because in the sport betting we only need a few predictions from the team to play and have fun with the game see instantly

As of me I am still playing gambling games and at the same time added sports betting in my list.  They both offer me a potential earning thru winning the game and i don't want to miss these opportunity.  As of gambling my statistic is that my winnings is greater than the amount of lost, I can't tract the exact amount though. And since I'm just starting with sport betting, my statistic sux LOL. I rarely follow the tipster and when i got a chance to bet with his tip, the result is a win for the opposite team
