2901  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 16, 2022, 05:35:19 PM
I think they should also add a new rule about gambling sites to strengthen their security towards younger or underage players and for me checking the box that says "Are you 18 years old and above?" is not enough as a security check.
Of course, it's not enough.

Can you recommend for a better or best option to detect the age <18 without undergoing KYC? Nah, I bet you cannot and everyone cannot.

KYC is their only choice with a kind of strict KYC, like short video verification, ID selfie and many more wc is annoying in any customers part exposing yourself and personal information is always a big no for me. U0nless it's really a financial related services that you can benefit a lots.
That's why if you're a minor better to avoid such gambling addiction and choose different kind of entertainment coz you will end getting bet up and lossing funds locking in the gambling platform.
2902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 16, 2022, 05:09:39 PM
Donaire also give his best during his first fight with Inoue. He did succeed against Gaballo and the other guy because he does have the goal to get another chance of rematch with Inoue and that's enough of a motivation.

What is his goal after Inoue 2 would motivate him more but if this is his last due to his age he might not be able to make it again. Inoue is fast and determined to win it all. He isn't called Monster if he isn't a monster.
But not the best as he could unlike on his prime years. Inoue is seems like a perfect fighter in the bantam weight division. If Donaire can't make a knockdown or KO on their next fight, chance of him winning is less. And it will be his last chance to prove his stance. His power, speed, foot work become slower and slower year after year unlike Pacquiao that almost never change even on +40 years of age, good for him he retired.
2903  Other / Meta / Re: A suggestion for the forum search and Ninjastic.space on: April 16, 2022, 03:54:07 PM
They can be specific to that search only, and once you close the tab, it all goes away. Another great thing would be having an option to save those particular filters so that if you want to use the same custom options, you could just load it back up.
This is much easy to implement if ninjastic.space have account to save your custom filters for long run. If its only cookies which I don't think the site saves such data, it will be only good for a certain amount of time or will end after you close the tab.
2904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone still use this website? on: April 16, 2022, 03:01:38 PM
In all honesty, I'd never heard of that platform. I guess it was popular before my time.
their forum was never popular and I'm sure the people who post there are only interested in their "pay per post". you would have seen their signature campaign for cryptotalk if YOBIT didn't sneakily change their signature to advertise their exchange instead of their forum.
As what I remember and saw, the topics there are just duplicates from this forum, keeping in mind that it was a pay per post, a spam is obviously piled up. After the campaign stops the website turns dead and become ghost like it was only created for the pay per post campaign, and nothing much more happen, just a waste of money.
Well, it was made from yobit funds -> from their shit token scams, it will be considered as not a loss to them.
2905  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi (BlockFi.com) locked my account with $25,000 inside on: April 16, 2022, 02:39:53 PM
I can add some screenshots. That's not a problem. Just let me know please how I can add photos to my posts here.
You can use imgur or imgbb to upload your screenshots and include the image url in your first post or reply.

I have always told people avoid these stupid custodial staking and DEFI platforms, but very few understand.
Thought the same, but people are engaged with the good marketing strategy/ads, wording, promises of these platforms that's why people even non-newbies are fooled with it hoping that their funds is safe there and will gain much profit not knowing that most of these platforms will push you to your limit to fight with their "legal documents requirements" many custodial wallets or exchange use this kind of scheme actually.
2906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DeFi-Play | Your Blockchain Gaming Community. Find your teammates, share games. on: April 16, 2022, 01:58:40 PM
This better belongs to Altcoin Discussion as this never talks anything about Gambling. Gaming is way different in Gambling bro, and so was the NFTs. (T in NFT is literally TOKEN). Also, do you consider this forum to be a valid source of your reviews with regards to blockchain gaming community? I mean theres already threads with the games you've featured in your platform and using Discord and Twitter to be your main 'communities' is good but also it can be better if the Forum people are taken into consideration with your future blogs like quoting certain topics and replies in here.
The platform is actually like a blog, directory, and more about tokens, defi and nft. So, yeah, altcoin discussion suits the thread topic.

Base on op's post history seems he will not read nor care about the replies and just making threads and ANNs anywhere. So better to report the thread to be moved to the right board.
2907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is behind this challenge? on: April 16, 2022, 10:36:32 AM
What would really happen, when you find a privkey with 500BTC? You take the 500 bucks, right.
Of course, why would you tell the owner if you can get whole 500 than just 100.

But the thing is you need to use the .exe file from him to generate the remaining characters which is a red flag,  99.99% chance it could be a crypto wallet stealing malware.
2908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 16, 2022, 10:09:14 AM
I don't think Fiat will always be the norm. It is so right now becayse old man are still in power and unwilling to give it up. A few politicians control the fate of millions. It's the same kind of governments all around the world. Politicians first think about themselves and only later about the ordinary people. It would be good for society if crypto currencies would be playing a bigger role, but for that to happen fiat money needs to lose some power. The problem we face with switching to a more independent financial system is that governments would need to act more prudent and couldn't keep issuing new debt every year. Unfortunately politicians are not willing to make that sacrifice yet. Maybe in 10-20 years we will have a new area of more open minded politicians.
It needs lots of considerations, huge resources to invest for internet usage in any part of the world or country for crypto to dominate fiat as crypto transfers needs internet unless they use a custodial wallets that has features to send crypto/bitcoin through sms which is possible for such kind of wallets.
2909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buy my home with bitcoin on: April 15, 2022, 07:40:52 PM
When the bitcoin price was back to 64k dollars then, the people easily buy your house with their holding
Buy easily? That's a huge expectation up there.

Buying a house using of any kind of currency has the same process for any buy/sell house transaction. You cannot just buy a house just because someone is selling it. As a buyer there are lots of things you need to consider since it should be in legal ways.
2910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned on a ongoing Netflix series Queen of the south on: April 15, 2022, 07:16:50 PM
Not new anymore, such kind of news/update/trivia/mentions is not a thing to bitcoin anymore. There are already movies that is revolving about bitcoin not just mentioning it. So kinda expect it more series or movies will mention bitcoin especially if its related to finance, heists, etc.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buy my home with bitcoin on: April 15, 2022, 07:08:17 PM

Now we see another brave man who is willing to sell his house for bitcoin. But that gives me a doubt that you cant find someone here for this kind of property as I knew most people here is just making for profit and living. You could sell it with fiat and buy this fiat with bitcoin as already suggested.
Good luck.
2912  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watching Our Kids From Something That Could Dangerous To Them on: April 15, 2022, 05:20:11 PM
This is parenting problems, maybe people can give opinions based on their actual experiences as a parent not just for theory and future plans for their future child.

As an uncle who sometime babysits my siblings' toddler it is really good to guide and supervised them all the times in any kind of games they are playing, it might not about addiction but their safety to avoid dangerous things which place them to risks. It's okay to experience them how to be hurt while doing things as a toddler but tell them that is not okay for them yet or etc. Giving them toys that is only for their age, go to places that is good for their age and anything that is only good for their age.

If you get my point from babysitting to gambling or gaming. This always have parallel inlines, gambling is not good for children below 18 years old, playing in smartphones always has age limits on any kind of games or apps to be played or used. If you can check the game or app in the google play store, you can see that the app is Rated X according to what category/age it suits and a guardian you should not to overlooked it.
2913  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 15, 2022, 05:04:35 PM
I lost my saving and I didn't come back on my feet after so many years.
/...
its very risky
To use your savings in gambling is very wrong move and that is really too risky. Unless you are into sports betting which is way easier to win yet using your savings is still a wrong move.

I want to say that I have paused gambling but I have not stopped. I have paused it as I was making loss day by day. So I have just paused gambling and I have decided to resume gambling again after several weeks/months. It is just my decision for now and this can be changed at any time.
So what's the purpose of yours to gamble for profit or just to entertain? As I see this is a good decision to paused temporarily, but the fact that you lost your money isn't entertaining at all. So what motivates you to continue gambling since it's a daily loss before the day you decided to paused.
2914  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk sell 10 ads or 9? on: April 15, 2022, 04:53:36 PM
It was mentioned that it is only 9 but yet...
Nine are auctioned off. One is the factoid slot.

If we will check the final result and the ads in the adinfo page, this goes that..

# slot/active ad
1 satochip
1 cybertools
2 mercury wallet
4 duelbits
1 moonbet

and the remaining 1 is the lucktchip, which there's no one bid in the auction thread yet have a slot for the current round. Maybe theymos can tell...
2915  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 14, 2022, 04:26:52 PM
This is somehow difficult to draw the line on determining if the player is indeed 18 years old in registering in the gambling website.
Ofc, users (below 18) might enjoy doing things he used to until he faced a problem on the website and the casino requires him to go kyc for them to uplift the issue, although some casino didnt require kyc but this terms will change over time.

Since players look for convenience, adding a KYC function to a gambling site could either make or break the whole business. But, if they do not implement any KYC function, this would attract underaged players in gambling which is something that must be prevented at all cost.
Its not loss for the business it's their assurance for the authorities not to get rid of them for having no license since most casino dont require kyc have no license.
2916  Other / Meta / Re: Which forum to post Guides/tips about bitcoin? on: April 13, 2022, 04:21:00 AM
Beginners and Help[1] board probably suit on bitcoin related guides. Lots of how-to threads posted there by different users to guide newbie and non-newbies.

Some thread have "[Guide]" on the subject thread, maybe you can add it too.

2917  Other / Meta / Re: Disable Ads Option on: April 12, 2022, 07:00:16 AM
Roles? What kind of role(s) do you have that others dont? Tongue

Jk Tongue. It's been there since then. There is also an option to disable avatars and signatures (as advertisements) if i remember correctly.

Hero/Legendary members, Donators, VIPs, and moderators have the ability to disable ads; these people don't increase the impression stats for your ads.

These are the roles you are talking about?
Oh, here's an interesting quote, seems like these are for higher ranks only i mistakenly read somewhere.
2918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi (BlockFi.com) locked my account with $25,000 inside on: April 11, 2022, 11:18:36 PM
Maybe you can add some screenshots of the emails and etc for proofs.

And the h*ll is that amount sending to such service. First locking your account for no reason and you need to wait for 60 days is really susp asf. Is your bank prohibits the use of crypto-related transfer? And whats the reason of your bank closing your account?

Your really option is to file a case report for this, Idk how much it will cost in your area buy if you can have such amount there i guess you can afford it as well.
2919  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: This exchange/trading platform seems like a scam, thoughts? on: April 10, 2022, 02:14:31 AM
Thank you! I was sure this has to be a scam but couldn't find that xhexs.vip URL anywhere in google search.
You can paste that url in google and it will show only the domain info without much info though.

This is common if the website is only new, which is probably made by that scammer/hacker for this purpose.

Just checked it on whois and just like that it was just registered this january.

2920  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: This exchange/trading platform seems like a scam, thoughts? on: April 10, 2022, 01:26:27 AM
That's a scam or malicious attempt. Avoid clicking links from these PMs.

Your hints of red flags:
- PM from social media website
- PM is related to a investment or trading, or any related to money opportunity.
- PM has a link shortener or any kind of link to download or for you to access it.
- Receives from a woman/girl

Plus, don't ever download from the site it could steal information from your device, much more uploading your IDs there.

Account's content doesn't matter as it only way for them to make the account looks not sus, but messaging such PMs is already sus. It could be a hacked account as well.
