2001  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate signature campaign on: November 22, 2022, 10:42:44 PM
In business aspect, this is really a good way to promote the site(it's a win-win situation for them).

But it is not fair for those who will join. Why? they already made a name on this forum, their previous campaigns requires website registration too, well, a lot did applied and created an account (because of higher pay rate).

So as a participant/affiliate, the chance for someone to register using your signature/affiliate link is very low. Besides invites still needs to deposit xxx amount before an affiliate get their reward.
Although it's really unfair to the participants, it's not that bad to do such campaign, but don't expect more people will join.
2002  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit not paying out YoFarm Rewards. on: November 22, 2022, 02:35:18 PM
So there are really still someone who uses Yobit.

About the question of experience, yeah, a lot with different bad experience. And real talk, this is nothing new about Yobit's scammy/suspicious behaviour.
2003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: November 21, 2022, 11:54:06 PM
36% down is still okay, many including me experienced more than 50% in my early years way back on the 2017 bull run and the bear market later on.
DCA is the best way for long term investment, so keep up and just wait.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 21, 2022, 11:31:15 PM
I'm sure adjusting to 122 from 118 won't be a big problem and he can adjust easily to it. Not unless he will have the same health status as Casimero that struggles to catch the 118lbs at the target date although not unlikely to happen for Inoue.
Because it is the hardest thing in boxing, the adjustment of weight either above or below your usual weight and still maintain a good body condition is not that easy though. Many struggles on that phase just to make a fight.
2005  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk on Telegram on: November 21, 2022, 06:33:28 PM
So what is your proposal? To have bitcointalk community chat in telegram? for every local? or as a whole?

While it is good initiative for the bitcointalk Italian community, but i will leave telegram as a community chat more like updates, news regarding the forum as it will affect the post activity if more will use it instead here.
2006  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4500 personal data leaked by TokenSoft on: November 21, 2022, 04:43:01 PM

In the future you can also consider using a burner phone number which you throw away and replace every 3/6/12 months or whatever. If you need a phone number to sign up to something, but don't want to hand out your real one, use this one instead.
If this is such a problem for you, listen to the advice and change the number, just be sure that the new number is not listed in the public telephone directory, because as far as I understand, those databases are widely used for this type of sales.
I'll consider those ideas and suggestions. Thanks.
For the meantime, I'm using a different phone number but still using the old one (dual-sim smartphones) just being cautious of answering phone calls or wont answering at all, unless it made an sms to confirm their needs/wants.
2007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com - Account suspended and withdrawal blocked on: November 21, 2022, 04:27:48 PM
I'm sure a casino with a good reputation won't do that without proof.
Most casinos (reputed or not) who labeled their users "multi-accounting" don't usually give proofs to other party, it's unfair, either the user is telling the truth or not. This only happens (casino giving proofs) if most of the community trying too boycott the reputation of the said casino. For the OP's case, i don't think Stunna or their CS will give you detailed statement regarding your case (well, i still hope so) not unless they are in a hot seat.
2008  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Casino Sale FAQ (Answering your questions) on: November 21, 2022, 03:26:20 PM
I read the previous thread and it's somewhat true about the house edge and the gambler will always be probably at loss — talking about business.
It just your attitude towards the questions and criticisms from most of the community (your possible clients) is something that is not right when talking about sales talk, customer support and business. Either way, still good luck.
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2022, 11:00:54 PM
Why hate and compare, they are 2 different thing, just set aside the comparison and learn how important this 2 is. You cant use bitcoin to buy daily needs in ordinary store outside, aside from its volatility, internet connection is also a problem unless you are in a city. While fiat can do most of them time aside that authority controlling, the circulation, the use, etc. People are used to have it.
2010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4500 personal data leaked by TokenSoft on: November 20, 2022, 03:52:16 PM
At least it's easy to block calls from a certain number, I simply add such numbers to the blacklist and they can no longer call or send me messages, and if someone calls me from countries where I have no relatives or friends, I simply block the entire country by area code. With this blocking method, I reduced unwanted calls and messages by 99%.
With the help of google messages app, yes. Sms with the same pattern like related to crypto, giveaways, gambling, inviting jobs eventually marked as a spam.

But for calls, i need to answer them first before i can tell if its a legit call or not. Since my fist language is not english, talking to an english person in phone calls with crypto related talks gives me creepy vibes. Coz i never shared crypto related topics in any phone calls even to my friends worst to a foreign guy. I once answered an english with something chinese accent and sometimes british.
One of the problems is some of the business/finance related companies i applied for like credit cards doesn't have particular number like they have multiple numbers used when calling their clients and because of these creepy feeling i experienced, calls from unsaved numbers brings back those memories, so i missed lots of calls even the legit ones.

Why not change your phone number?
That's my last option though, maybe when sim registration law takes place in my area (in 3-6 months i guess). But for now, i can't because it will take time to let those businesses, acquaintances of mine to know my new number and i hate messaging them just to let them know, and i really hate that part. That's why this mobile number of mine is like more or less 10 years already to me. Lol.
2011  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betflexi.com Domain Name is Accepting Offers on: November 20, 2022, 03:24:04 PM
I'm curious about who will buy a domain name because that domain name is a premium domain and the price is expensive.
Many, actually. Whoever has the same idea, taste of the name "betflexi" and a serious casino business owner/investor probably will.

Look at the "punt.com" domain, it was registered at 90's, and just this year it opens a new casino website. It is a solid premium domain for gambling which cost thousands of dollars. Regardless of the amount the current owner/co. buys it because it has lots of advantage, it will give more impact of the business not just in any search engine since the word "punt" is gambling related.

And surely the current owner of the domain might not be just the second or third of owner.

As the design of buying/selling domains, once it was bought/resell many times the domain values increases, and it is really an expensive domain.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 19, 2022, 11:27:02 PM
Well, so far, never heard a casino get liquidated in every bear market.
Because everytime a user deposits it will remain as it is, 1BTC=1BTC. Besides their finance team always know how crypto works for casinos, so converting their crypto holdings to fiat like 40/60 will always be a safe move.
2013  Economy / Gambling / Re: telegram dice stickers ($200,000 reward) on: November 19, 2022, 11:10:23 PM
F*ck that font color, can you change it to black, why red always be the color theme for china?

I tried to play the dice emoji and looks like it could be use for betting, but the code of this are centralized and with always br in a random outcome. Unless you contacted telegram devs/support[1] and request to change things for you or make an offer.

2014  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4500 personal data leaked by TokenSoft on: November 19, 2022, 10:47:47 PM
A well-known company that produces hardware wallets was hacked at one time and hundreds of thousands of their users' data was leaked, and who still mentions that today?
Ugh, i still experience the aftermath of this. Day by day spam emails, spam sms, worst are calls from random foreign guy in a company asking my opinion regarding crypto like shit here we go again. That's why i become paranoid of phone calls from a unknown numbers, affecting those legit calls.
2015  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: perfectmoney.com or perfectmoney.is, which domain name is legit? on: November 18, 2022, 10:16:55 PM
I will always go to the .com domain instead of other domain extension with the same domain name.

Based.on whois[1] the .com domain seems legit
Code:
Domain:perfectmoney.com
Registrar:Gandi SAS
Registered On:2004-11-28
Expires On:2027-11-28
Updated On:2022-09-20

On the other hand the .is  whois[2] looks like owned by the same management/person of .com. Since its copyrighted.
Code:
% This is the ISNIC Whois server.
%
% Rights restricted by copyright.
% See https://www.isnic.is/en/about/copyright
domain:       perfectmoney.is
registrant:   SIL11-IS
created:      May 27 2013
expires:      May 27 2023
source:       ISNIC

Also, the .com is labeled as their website base on their app on google play store[3]

[1] https://www.whois.com/whois/perfectmoney.com
[2] https://www.whois.com/whois/perfectmoney.is

2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 18, 2022, 09:38:25 PM
I am seeing the KYC option as an option that is not serious or bad for us as users, well maybe for users who are Whales, maybe if they feel some fear of leaving their data on the web or even within a platform , because their greatest fear is that they can leak that data and it comes to them to steal it,
Because you don't get the point why KYC is so dangerous in other way around, and how serious identity theft is. Imagine getting calls from some random company or guy trying to talk to me about crypto is too weird for me on phone calls (that's my experience, because of ledger hack recently)

It doesn't need to be a whale or not, an exposed personal info could lead  you in danger, inconvenience and many more.

but at the same time the benefits of KYC help a lot when the account can be hacked, through KYC it can also be recovered. Before, I gave a lot of importance to anonymity, now I don't care, anonymity is already being removed opco by opco, in all the platforms that I have entered, in most of them 98% always look for KYC.
KYC doesn't work like that. Even a hacked account can be recovered via email only or mobile number only. KYC isn't a thing before, but there's already hacking yet account recovery is possible.

I'm not against KYC because i've submitted my info too on my local exchange for crypto to fiat transaction. But people need to be responsible of their own personal data, that don't just give it just because you dont care anonymity or most casino platform or exchange require it. Exercise your due diligence at least on what platform you should give your info.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance- CZ wanted to orchestrate a bitcoin re-org? on: November 18, 2022, 03:41:17 PM
How is it possible? The 51% attack.
But for binance current pool of minings against the total number of miners/pools, it is not possible. Bringing back that idea again is no help but just to stain his reputation again.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 18, 2022, 07:41:17 AM
If you ask a regular casino that is currently using, yes. But for labeling a casino as your lucky casino? I don't think so, particularly speaking, luck doesn't work like that. You will encounter loss in any numbers of probability, even if you have 90% winning rate in every bet, 10% is still a large whole number to be considered for a loss. So, that won't work, not unless there's a cheating behind, but that's less likely to happen.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to prevent cheating in a game on: November 17, 2022, 11:01:04 PM
Only if someone could tell us on what site casino cheating is allowed or hard to detect, so we will go there and try.
Kidding aside, casinos and game providers are investing their money to softwares that detects more reasonably for cheaters.
But then if these cheaters can successfully operates their bets and win, the fraud detection team will always be there to check any kind of suspicious activity and worst if you get caught. So there's no really good at cheating, unless, you are very good at cheating which i dont think so.
2020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious to know about the UseCase on: November 17, 2022, 10:42:40 PM
Bitcoin is designed only for p2p transfer of money without the use of any third party involve, then later on became store of value. With only that, it was supported by many and now has strongest network that it make more decentralized than any other cryptocurrency (alts and tokens).

If you are questioning the only medium of exchange feature of bitcoin, then what else more do you want or expect bitcoin will be. There's nothing more it could be than having centralized and weak network, price/value of these are influenced by the actions of their team, short period of hype, and other " promised use case". Many thoughts of better alts/tokens are cheap with tx fee, well, those alts are literary has cheap value that's why the tx fee is cheap as well.

Well, to be honest, i only see the fee structure and confirmation time of bitcoin is the main hindrance, but after lightning it's all better now.
