2901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [HISTORY] Some Notable Bitcoin's Past Events + Price Prediction Contest. on: June 26, 2022, 01:56:42 AM
For predictions from KOLs, influencers, I don't know how they make their predictions. Do they make it from any model or just get hyped and arbitrarily say any funny prediction. It is very terrible and deadly if you rely on their opinions for your investment in Bitcoin.
Some KOLs are just stating prices out of nowhere and thats really worse. But some of them uses some historical information or technical analysis which quite commendable. I guess it depend on the one you followed or subscribed on. I watching some cause their information is quite good or naturally realistic.

Actually on this space no one is right. Whats the difference of KOLs to bitcoin OG here in terms of opinion is not much relevant since market cant be prrdicted accurately.

Some hates those KOLs for their statement but they not noticing their opinion about price is not different too.
2902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going hard on these projects on: June 25, 2022, 02:29:18 PM
What do you think? Any project you feel is better, minus BTC and ETH is welcome.
Wheres avalanche and fantom? I think those two are better on the list as they also shown a great traction during the bull market and possibly can even get or surpass their previous ATH. Thats what happened on the projects like bnb and eth. I think these listed coins and tokens can be a game changer too and has potential to beat up their previous all time high.
2903  Other / Meta / Re: Spamming way of creating threads on: June 25, 2022, 08:14:40 AM
Simply reported these guys and thats it. Cant stop creating multiple boards unless those users got reported and mods take a ban hammer on them termporary or depends on the gravity of spamming. Since its in the official rule can easily banned them. But its gonna be worthless since they can just create a new account after that.

temp ban should be an eye-opener for him. I don't think he will be getting a lot of traffic by this act of spamming.
Probably he will just create new one and do it again. So I think there should be an alternative solution to it that might help in decreasing spammers. (of course reporting but Im thinking an extensive one limiting those users or restricting their post allowed something like that, depends on rank or level of their posting and contribution).
2904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Class in my Village High School on: June 25, 2022, 07:28:13 AM
This is something Schools should include. Even a small portion of topic in any major ones could help everyone understand how the blockchain works especially the bitcoin technology. There are some countries pobably considering this and some might have implemented it already to give general knowledge on this. Even basic one can help anyone grasp even the tiniest detail out of it and the rest will be easier.
2905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn-to-Earn tokens another pyramid scheme? on: June 25, 2022, 06:29:32 AM
Again, in order to start earning something, you must first buy something.

Do you think Learn-to-Earn is another model with pyramid features or is it different here?
Most likely yes. If there is some requirement before start earning then it can lead up to being scam or another ponzi.

But if the learn to earn approach for free then its likely good or we can called like bounty since you earned from learning it. Just like in the real world try to learn something and earn out of it. Most people in crypto are easily hooked with something like attached to word earn. So any concept is probably a boost to their needs.
2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin cash reach 2000$ in 2026 like I see now? on: June 25, 2022, 05:43:21 AM
Honestly all those bitcoin fork coins got left behind by the altcoins in terms of marketcap and popularization.

Before like 2020 it still a thing especially on bch but now, it got dominated by defi projects and nft trendy one. For me its either I go for btc or major alts rather this fork coin if I wanted to earn as much as profit now.
2907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC transaction so slow on: June 24, 2022, 11:02:00 AM
I am probably going to get nailed for this but its the truth, BTC transaction sucks🤦‍♀️ its slow as a snail, I am trying go send some bitcoin to exchange using my trust wallet and it's just there over 5 minutes, imagine been in haste in a store nearby trying to pay with BTC using your wallet and this happens, you are forced to wait around till the transaction go through, not a good feeling at all.
Well thats really it is. Adjust to a higher transaction fee if its slow. If you cant take the transaction fee on btc, then pick an altcoin faster than it. There is so much plenty of choices with faster transaction. In terms of this, btc well isnt gonna much on transactions cause theres too much usage on btc network but if you shift to altcoin youll find it faster. Thats the truth about blockchain, the more uses a certain network, it becomes slower.
2908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better than DCA is DCAing when fear is high on: June 24, 2022, 05:58:18 AM
It's no rocket science and have threw this word plenty time around whenever someone asked when to buy. Recently realized it's better to keep money in fiat/stable coins until market presents opportunity itself.
So whats stable scenario it is? I think its kinda hard to locate those points on certain charts. For some who did buy deep prices, its not yet good and those who thunk they bought at good bottom now is the time for them to sell. This is circulation no one would ever be balance. We need a crunch time to possibly see that we did a good decision on buying and selling cause no good enough even professional to predict an accurate level at which we should do that.
2909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche launch bridge of native bitcoin to defi platform on: June 24, 2022, 03:20:54 AM
Indeed it looks promising but I am still concerned about the funds deposited on that DEFI.   We all know that DEFI had security issues that causes other DEFI to lose millions of dollars due to hacking incidents.  I wonder how to prepare the Avalanche team on preventing this.
Surely everyone are worried especially investors. But as far as I knew, avalanche never had any record of hacked or compromised network due to illegal hackers and thieves, such as what happened to elrond, solana, matic and recently harmony.

Defi has its own cons but surely ava labs are prepared for this or else they will just crumble like other platform such as Luna.
2910  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FAKE TESLA Coin ICO on: June 24, 2022, 02:39:10 AM
I try to look at in: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tesla/, fortunately, fake Tesla coins are not listed on any trading exchange, this is a real warning, for crypto investors or users, be careful with new coins what else in the name of Tesla, Elon and so on.
Actually there is a list on coinmarketcap but that one is for a legit stock share I guess since its Elon whom related to crypto due to dogecoin. I wonder why coinmarketcap listed it there probably another hype on crypto peeps for them to get more marketing. Especially Cz owns cmc which is likely a close friend of Elon Musk. Pretty easy to mistakenly input that there out of friendship.
2911  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference Between Bitcoin and Crypto currency on: June 24, 2022, 01:53:42 AM
Going through a lot of thread here,Am convinced that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency serves as a means of Exchange for trading.
Yes it is used on trading but its not created for that purpose alone but only a side hustle of blockchain. Originally Satoshi made it to be use as a means of peer to peer transaction well kinda sound like a trading but it doesnt purposely created just to gain profit out of it but to use the supply on spreading the use of this technology.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche launch bridge of native bitcoin to defi platform on: June 23, 2022, 01:15:00 PM
Can you give the exact details proving that they don't have the wrapping process? This will be really interesting.
From what I understand on their process is that anyone can send their native bitcoin on the bridge, hence making it btc.b which of course changed it to avax supported chain, but the equivalent of the btc.b is equally on the native bitcoin. Not sure if its called wrapping since eth that being wrapped is called weth, but they run on the same network, but for this one is like you are migrating it on the avalanche network.
2913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche launch bridge of native bitcoin to defi platform on: June 23, 2022, 07:03:59 AM
It's really no different from wallets with multi-coin support such as Exodus and Trust wallet, no? The only difference is that the Avalanche bridge is integrated in the plugin instead of manually going to the URL of the Avalanche bridge.
Those are wallets and their purpose is to support a lot of multichain. I guess avalanche would like to tap users from btc who wanted to explore defi using their native coin directly to an L1 project like them.

They are not the first altcoin DeFi project to build products around Bitcoin.

Sovryn project used to reach $36 but it drops to under $1 already. The bloodbath in DeFi has yet ended and it will continue until all over leveraged DeFi projects die.
Yes but Ive never heard of it actually. People tends to trust those established project in the top markets.

Maybe this is a huge step of avalanche Bitcoin holder but this is not new at all because there is no way a native Bitcoin directly interact on different blockchain without wrapping it.
From what Ive heard though I havent tried it out yet. They said native bitcoin, means its not wrapped bitcoin. How cant? They already rolled it.

- extensive earnings
- yield opportunities
- top Defi protocols
- portfolio, not control!
Thats right. Some people who owns btc are probably looking for a good project where they can park their holdings while waiting and clearly defi is the place for that. Yes its not perfect and quite risky, but at least this are giving true earning which isnt bad at all. As an altcoin maxi, Id rather used those parked coin to earn something in staking or defi that has a good privileges. Avax isnt bad considering its one of those top defi project.
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with the market? on: June 23, 2022, 05:17:19 AM
Could be. Market is experiencing a lot of down fall and these VCs are pobably saving some funds to be not able to liquidated their asset slowly. We can see some exited due to potential fear but of course, there are wrong factors such as project investment mistakes. Its not like they are careless about it but of course they are trying to save as much as fund as possible to be safe in a bear market.
2915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Avalanche launch bridge of native bitcoin to defi platform on: June 23, 2022, 04:50:06 AM
Just recently Avalanche announced their new product core wallet. Wherein users or holders of native btc can nridge their holdings to avax defi and let them experience defi ecosystem on avalanche platform.

It seems the first one Ive heard on altcoin to produce something like this. Whats your thought on this?

2916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Scams To Be Avoided By Beginners on: June 23, 2022, 03:25:32 AM
There was a time I even received a notification telling me that I have won $200 and all I needed to do it to insert my wallet secret phrase to claim it. I then created a new account in trust wallet and then gave them the secret phrase after which it said "our system has detected that you have more than one wallet, please input your real wallet key phrase.   Grin
xD thats gonna be a real scammer out there. Imagine they even detected that you just created a dummy wallet. Scammers now are really techie but they are wrong to trick others who already learn the basic of wallets and the idea of being scammed and hacked.

Thanks for sharing OP even though I read countless warning and reminders here, there are lots of scam victims being seen which implied that most newbies or users didnt care the process or knew that it was a scam. Too bad, that eagerly to earn money ignoring this kind of cautious warning.

2917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Analysing the market for small investors on: June 22, 2022, 11:15:41 AM
Am asking, what will be your candid advice for those that have little money for investment but don't know the exact coin to invest in.
Better is to study the prospect coin/token. Check out the premine figures if its not a VC handle cause it can really go down hard. Focus on the tokenomics, know as much details about the vesting period of the tokens on the model they shown. Check its marketcap and what kind of project they are building for the community if its worth a shot. To minimize the risk, pick a top altcoin wherein it showcase stability even on bear market. Historical price data can help at what price could they grow more.
2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana survived the crash on: June 22, 2022, 06:51:02 AM
Solend a decentralized loan project build on solana network almost create what could have been another sad story in the development of crypto currencies  but wisdom from solana government and voters safe the day. We could have had the same story of Luna in our hand if not decisions to stop whales from dumping. Good one from solana team.
They just lucky and some retailers are after the possible long position on the news. But the btc movement isnt good actually so they are still at risk. What I dont like is they can such do a counter on a decentralized force that whales brought in. If he wants to liquidated with a decentralized platform, it should be on his right to do it right?
2919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ethereum Dominance on: June 22, 2022, 05:21:38 AM
The fight between Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance is very interesting to follow and we all know Bitcoin has always dominated the cryptocurrency market and for now it looks like Ethereum is getting closer to Bitcoin and Ethereum Supply will deflation decrease -2% a year after The Merge proof of stake later. Will a new king of the cryptocurrency market willcome?
Thats unlikely to happened. Eth is good but bitcoin is the most decentralized among the cryptocurrency. Also it will take a lot of funds to surpass the btc marketcap. There are lots of speculation about the eth merge wouldnt damn solve a lot of issues. So I guess its likely impossible to replace btc on the throne. There are lots of L1 who have a lot of potential than eth so there ar eother choices by the community to use.
2920  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Investments on: June 22, 2022, 04:54:55 AM
I am a newbie and would like to invest $1000 to start. I have read that I should put 40 percent into bitcoin and diversify the other 60 percent. I need opinions, advice, and anything from those with experience of positive value. Smiley
Regarding the distribution of pie, I guess its your call, you can even allot higher for bitcoin like 60% and the rest for altcoins. But doing that is putting you at risk, since the market now is highly volatile. If ever you want to invest it, make sure you can endure the pain of red portfolio but thats totally fine since you are doing it for long term right? But if you are gonna shift to short term then might study first trading before conducting or putting any money off the table.
