Happy AYH gentlemen.

You dare to post this when i'm about to clear my reserves?  Cry
Also some eight year old strains, conserved well, lost almost all chlorophyll and quite some taste, still preserved 20-30% *efficiency.

That lockdown is making it impossible to restock atm.
So, at least thanks for the visual pleasure and have a good time  Grin

*EDIT: Well, i may be too critical with some, which at least preserved more than roughly 40%: White Russian, Somango and Atomic Haze.

....and yes: poor mindrust!    Grin

You got that right.

Sorry lol

We'll salute to him on the $500k party on board of the MS Satoshi.
Preceded by a minute of silence  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

EDIT: OOM's debut of posting an animated gif  Cool

God, remember all those poor souls that sold at 16,250?

U mean those pulling a BobLawBlaw maneuver?  Wink

EDIT: Well aware that it was an act of pure love  Cool

Projecting your own limitations onto others is a common human error.  Works both ways, of course, but it doesn't hurt to widen your perspective from time to time.  Bobs post history has mysteriously vanished, but we can leave it at 'this ain't round one'.

 Go Bob, Go!  Live Life

Yep, i agree.
Though i was trying to be funny in the first place, well aware that this is an internet forum opposed to RL at a certain degree, i found Bob was always coming around in an authentic and straightforward manner. I would love to read about his success story, how he and rick found peace of mind from wage-slaving big-bad-corp and city "life" in the future before it gets deleted *scnr*.

What happened to all the altcoin-Mooners on Titter?
Been quiet lately... Cheesy

You will still be better off selling next year.

It's a good thing I have more to sell next year then, eh ?

More interested in getting Rick retired early, buying a nice 50-100 acre parcel of land, and start building something on it, sooner-than-later.

Just if i eventually missed it: You won't sell all your coins in near future, will you?
2907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2020, 04:43:24 PM
New wordy man is far more interesting than old wordy man.

Also observing $16k incoming.

I would down vote this, but down voting is not allowed.

Don't cry. There is only one wordy man (for me).
Garbage wanna-b-wordy man can't reach you Cheesy

I need not remark on the irony of one so wrapped up in his own worldview that he fails to realize, I see his world better than he does.

LOL
And i tell you, i always felt exactly the same about you.
We are like mirrors, producing infinite regression.

I don't know from where you sucked out the conclusion that i deny external reality. NOT TRUE
I could go on with other things you just seem to "see" in my statements, emphasized by mixing quotes as you need to "prove" your opinion about me.
On the top, you call me arrogant (which i really was, until about a decade ago), just to be arrogant yourself.
Grössenwahn? Consider that.

EDIT: Just remembered the term: Implication.
Your conclusions are implicit, but implicit conclusion must be tested to show validity. You don't test, you just keep implicating to seek "proof".
Like a self fulfilling prophecy generator. You don't have to tell me that you don't agree, because you will just implicate something else to defend your ego.

I won't continue this. Enjoy your game without me now.

...

Nullius, i went through your post several times, but i could not extract any sense out of it
I don't even know why you're highlighting the quote "ego death" and by no means refer to that in your answer in any logical way.
I think you may reveal to which concept of "ego" (psychological, religious or philosophical) you even refer to.

Then you mix up old quotes, with no contextual connection, just to reveal... (exactly, what?)

He ended up on my ignore list (with only two others) when it became apparent that he once struggled through a few chapters of an abridged Nietzsche volume (and still managed to misunderstand most of it) and now struggles vainly to persuade everyone else that he's a philosopher.

[Thanks OutOfMemory for snipping text before replying - it's always very mildly annoying to see an ignored poster quoted by someone else Cheesy]

More relevant though: 16k!

I replied to him through my ego, i was well aware of that, not even upset in any way, other than the caps and bolds did make it seem.
I was just curious if he'd even make an attempt (to prove to be able to) see through a different angle.
A seemingly brilliant mind, but also another lost soul, imo.

So here's my honest, unjudging reply:

Gotta catch the kids from school after a quick shower.
Have a nice PUMP!!!

And this, my friend, is a perfect example of a "strong ego" (quoted JJG), in fact it seems even overpowered.
It's producing buildings full of theories that seek prove through itself. The psychologists call this projection, the yogi call it "the law of attraction".
You seemt to be perfectly being fooled by your brilliant, intelligent mind which forms the model of the religious ego.

Now, when i take the output of my "mind", it's not functioning different in any way, but i got AWARE of the process. I got aware through meditation and, most important, through my beforementioned ego death experience. It's the absence of all thought, judgement and identity. Only observing the peaceful, quiet nothing. Being aware that you are, but not who/what you are. If i'd be really believe in christianity, i'd call it the soul, i guess. But that's just a NAME for an IDEA.

What could be more atheistic than that?

Let that sink in, even just try to ignore your reactive thought chatter after reading this and try to answer in a contextual way.
You believe in your judgements, right? I accept that.
But how can you PROVE that what you think is REAL? (-EDIT- or: valid for everybody)
See, you can't, even if you try as hard AF.
Because it's only your individual reality.
To go on: You are believing your reality.

And we both have to agree that we don't believe that REALITY is created by some superpower, god, jehowa, allah or bender rodriguez, we definitely are both atheists.

So what's the fucking fuzz all about?

If everything i did was hurting you in your pride (aka. EGO), i feel sorry for that. So please forgive me (again, iirc)!
If you can't, i won't make it my problem, cause it's yours. Thanks  Grin

On topic: bitcoin is going over $100k, ...or it's not.

EDIT2: I see the corn over $16k again.

[rocket.gif]

I have to leave, spend the rest of the day trying to FEEL more than THINKING. Never did any harm to me.

I think proudhon is a HoDLer. A big HoDLer. Bigger that the average WOer.

And he's laughing his freakin' pants off right now...

To be fair, i was thinking for quite a long time that R0ach was also kidding and secretly hodling cornbags.

Probably more effective then saying you lost it in a boating accident.

Perhaps, Mindrust didn't sell his stash either.

Meh, there will always be idiots... the world is full of them

No problem with that, but the concept of democracy gives them power at hands, as well as making more and bigger idiots to our leaders.
Good morning, El  Grin

EDIT
Gotta go. WOs, have a nice day with good memories and enjoy the feeling of certainty regarding the upcoming pump(s).

0,8mg won't kick in more like that.
But it's still enhancing normality. It's a nice, safe use of psychedelics.

One time during my college days I was asked to hold a 1 lb bag of shrooms for a friend, which was indeed an entire garbage bag packed to the brim with dried stems and caps. My reward was 1 oz from said bag, and for a while I indeed became overly irresponsible with my usage. At one point we even tried to make shroom beer using a beer making kit I got for my birthday. It was awful as the shrooms rot in a particularly foul way, contaminating the beer with stink and making the whole concoction undrinkable.

After a month or so of microdosing before going to work at a psychiatric ward every day, I decided to blend up 7 gs with some orange juice in a blender, as I heard OJ helps to deliver the psilocybin past your blood brain barrier faster. I started painting as was my hobby at the time and for some reason became increasingly agitated, choosing a deep, dark red as my color of choice. My roommate started to freak out at my painting, which made me freak out, and soon after I started having a panic attack.

I called a friend who I knew had been prescribed antipsychotics and insisted he drive 20 miles or so to bring me one so I could get out of my state of panic. Dread closed in around me, my heart was beating super fast, and then I convinced myself I was having a heart attack. Then the strangest thing happened: I convinced myself I died, and then everything got better.

It was the second time I had experienced ego death; this time around was massively more unpleasant than the first. Then my friend showed up, delighted that I hadn't done anything (else) incredibly stupid. I asked him if he brought his pills, and he said, "Well that's the whole reason for me coming out here right?" I ended up not taking it as everything turned out to be alright. Still to this day I never tried an antipsychotic, one of the few categories of brain drugs I've just never touched (along with mood stabilizers).

Great story.
I only went through ego death one time on LSD, which gave me some work to do about my personality and life as well, but in the end it turned out to be the very best that could happen to me.
So, people condemning drugs, because of "reasons", just don't know what they are missing.
It's all in the usage, like with guns. Nobody has to use em, but if only used for (ethical) goodness, nobody would be afraid of them either.

lsd:  4 out of 5 stars, would recommend. although not sure how the 2020 vintage lsd trips would be

Honestly, i don't even want to find out  Wink
It taught me the essence of everything i needed to know. mission complete.
But, if 'm going adventurous in my very old days, 80+ or so, i might change my mind on that, if i get the possibility  Cool

New theory: Long term drug use leads to degradation in mental math performance.

 Cheesy
Not in my case, i got lucky.
But that four week lasting viral infection got my memory degraded by a good amount, and also math performance.
Interesting to see similar findings in Covid research lately.

PSA:  If you dislike my posts, then please don’t read my writing! Thank you.

youre still typing ok. hasnt kicked in yet?

No.

Sadly, I've unironically wanted to donate my body to science, upon my passing, but Rick strictly forbid it.

My tolerance for certain substances is otherworldly...

Ever considered ingesting huge amounts of pre-heated weed?
2-3 grams or so, heated in butter, then eat a slice of bread with that on it?
Be prepared to lie on the floor, not being able to move, all visible colors faded to greys, wondering about things most of the time.
It will possibly make you tired for days, because of that 18h half-life of THC, but the best answer to tolerance is adding weight  Cool

EDIT: don't try this at home alone (unless you are Bob).

I have to leave now, read yours later!

oh no.

not $250.

I love it when you have a user on ignore but you don't remember why, so you expand one of their posts and immediately realize you made the correct decision

Perfectly resembles me feelings after clicking on show on the top of proudhonk's post.

Those were the days, buying multiple full coins every month.

At around that time i considered to buy some drugs on the darkweb for the first time, so i started to plan to get bitcoin.
Unfortunately, an old friend appeared out of nowhere, offering me a palette of substances, so i scratched that plan.
Fuck that dude, really  Roll Eyes

YOLO. Just micro-dosed 0.8 mg of psilocylbin.

Let's hope I don't burst into Rick's office, naked, while he's on a video conference call.

This afternoon gon be gud, yo.

No operating heavy machinery for me !!

T-39 minutes...

awwww.... I wish I could join in. have fun, mate.

next time I will use the mighty shroom I plan to contemplate about digital scarcity.

Shrooms are magic to me. Don't get me wrong, i loved the crystal clear effects of LSD, but it's missing that organic touch, too sterile...
One time they made me watch (a very psychedelic version of) springfield with all the simpsons on a ceiling, while lying on a bed and laughing my guts out in tears.
The most serious time they gave me was with a former best friend. The turn was very light on the optical effects, but the emotions were extremely high. He (BF) was suddenly appering to me like the meanest asshole on earth, minutes later i found myself vomiting, embracing the toilet. I didn't leave the bathroom until it was (almost) over and got home quickly. This was quite disturbing BUT you know, the best was yet to come. Half and a decade later, he turned out to be the asshole i saw in him at that day, which he hid really well for as long as i "knew" him. He went under the radar from one day to another, me and all his caring friends and family have never seen him again, he left a mountain of debt.

I think everyone owns his life as his property, so even if you don't suffer, it's your right to end your life.

For the sake of discussion, it might be interesting to know that I live in a country where euthanasia is allowed (edit: of course, under conditions).

(and consumption of mushrooms is illegal but tolerated Wink )

Interesting, i know of very little countries that tolerate both.
The anti-euthanasia mindset in the country i live originated from the christian church's teachings, which are hardly more than a bunch of misunderstandings, imo.
2920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 10, 2020, 07:03:01 PM
(...)
Imo, everybody over 75 should be allowed to die. In my country/culture the only option is suicide, which is also still a crime.
There have to be better options, but nobody should be told when to die. That's plain blasphemy. (I am an atheist, don't try to discuss about "god" with me).

Not sure if you read the book (honestly do so, especially knowing people like the quoted one actually really share that point of view). It's called "the right to die" but in reality it's state-forced euthanasia. edit: Huxley was a visionary, I fear.

Alright, but i meant it straight. If i would be facing a horrible death from cancer (for example), why should i have to suffer through it? I'm legally forced to, at the time.
This has to change, and it has to be a "free", validated decision.
