Feeling ashamed.  Embarrassed

Am I the only one who didn't see "Quick-moderation" feature till now? A "paper and pencil" small icon above "Report to moderator". It can be used to make a quick edit without going to new page.

you mean Quick-edit, right?
if so then you're not the only one. I was aware of that icon for a long time but I never bothered to check what it does until dogie pointed that out. (dogie never even saw it until a few days ago)

Yeah, cool feature that, hope it's retained on the new forum.
Also it would be nice to have a visible at all times "this post has been edited" icon, if editing has taken place after more posts have been made.
Some people are really irritating with retrospective editing.

The website says that the 10% a week is guaranteed, so that's ok.
2904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [2015-04-03] The 5,000Btc hidden treasure, and the key to finding it. on: April 06, 2015, 11:49:36 AM
WoodCollector is a serial fantasist/bullshitter and is just trolling with this thread trying to sell of his remaining crapcoins.

If I am honest, I found out that Woodcollector was a liar and a thief and decided I do not want his pieces any more, no matter how rich he may be and famous. I was getting other pieces made by him but could no longer trust him as he did something very sneaky and also failed to ship a piece i ordered from him.

Eh? Are you saying if you found this out or this is what actually happened? Can you please elaborate?

This is indeed a popcorn inducing statement.
If an existing client of WC can no longer trust him because of very sneakiness, who in the world can give this highly fantastical titanium container and its contents any credibility whatsoever?

He has shown me evidence he is who he says he is. Am I a sock puppet too?
BTW: laser engravers and CNC mills don't leave the wood grain behind when they are used to carve designs:

I watched the infamous disappeared videos and there was absolutely no indication that the techniques used in them could produce the intricate detail of the coins in question. imo.

There seem to be a number of posters who are willing to believe there is some substance to this treasure hunt. That's entirely up to them, it's an attractive fantasy that can indeed fire the imagination. We all like a bit of mystery and 'what if' in life unless we are emotionally stunted, but the problem is that scammers know this and exploit it, especially when the amounts of money involved are substantial.
Proposals like this, offered by safely annonymous people who stand to gain from them, bedevil Bitcoin.
It's a shame, because every time they turn out to be just another scam, some of the shit sticks and make the perceived link between Bitcoin and fraud stronger, to the detriment of BTC itself.

2905  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [2015-04-03] The 5,000Btc hidden treasure, and the key to finding it. on: April 03, 2015, 08:35:03 PM
For reasons which i am sure are obvious to most of you, much like Satoshi this will be my last post or presence on the world wide web to protect my identity.

Excellent troll, but I thought you went a bit over the top here.
 Cheesy

Very nice laser cut coins, but you're a bit too late for April Fool's with this post  Wink
I very much doubt you own or ever owned 5000BTC and linking the post where you're trying to bribe another forum member doesn't help. Why is this even in "press"?

Are you trolling someone who is not even hear anymore? Thats classic man......

And believing that he is not "hear" anymore is double classic man....

2907  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Where to invest Bitcoins on: April 02, 2015, 03:26:54 PM
I've been testing some Bitcoins investment websites in order to make a little more Bitcoins, some are really complex and others just never pay you, but there are some that really let you have some earnings. Here is the list of the top 5 websites where I got real earnings:

Proof, or it didn't happen.

1. http://www.minuteinvest.com

2. http://www.bitcointrust.co

3. http://www.bitcoin-investment.org

4. http://drawbtc.com/

5. http://www.instaforex.com

Tip: if you are looking for real and complex investments methods i recommend http://www.bitcointrust.co, if you are looking for something easy to use and get earnings fast I recommend http://www.minuteinvest.com

What a complete pile of shit you have listed there, unless your method of 'investment' is to click the mouse and hope.

My favorite confidence builder in the professionalism of your picks is this quote from minuteinvest
"we make thousends of investemts all over the wold every minute".

Yeah sure.
2908  Economy / Economics / Re: BANK RUN: Andorran and Spain banks go bankrupt, state refused to aid depositors on: March 19, 2015, 09:15:47 PM
Maybe it's already time to start playing preppers and start stacking up supplies. A military conflict in the East, bankrupt Greece and troubled Spain. The EU is in a bad shape, but it was to be expected after such a long time of relative peace.

Sorry, but I am a spaniard, and Spain is a great country. I suggest you visit Spain (our culture, beaches, etc). And don't worry, you won't need "stack up supplies", you can buy good and healthy food here.

You misunderstand the point amigo, "preppers" stock up in the belief that society is about to collapse and Spain, great though you may think it is, is just as vulnerable as anywhere to collapse, especially as the Euro unravels.

I have visited Spain many times, I will be in Cadiz on Sunday and find your culture, beaches and your good and healthy food etc. very agreeable.
I have also dealt with your banking system, police and bureaucracy and find them to be corrupt, self serving remnants of fascism that would  not hesitate to oppress Spanish citizens to maintain their positions of power.
2909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading with low amounts? Does it make sense? on: March 18, 2015, 08:55:07 AM
I wonder if some of you trade with very low amounts like $60 in BTC. Is there a chance that you can maximize that small amount by trading?
It's the thing that fucks with the market more than whales, people see 10$ rise and they dump in order to profit few dollars. Multiple times a day!!
do you seriously think that $60 investment and amounts like that has any effect in a 22 million dollar day to day volume market?

+1

Small traders traders can provide liquidity for markets, they are the grease that oils the big wheels.
2910  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Error on: March 18, 2015, 08:01:06 AM
I had the same as you and Vod, first action of a session, got the "you just did something already" pop up.
Was concerned that something strange was occurring with my account so asked Bad Bear, but he said all was ok.
Just a bug I guess, roll on $1m forum.

2912  Other / Meta / Re: Account Banned without any reason provided on: March 17, 2015, 08:05:51 PM
Hi, my account
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=153332
has been banned.
on logging in it shows banned to post or send a personal message.

And just recently got banned for no reason. I read the forum about a lot of other accounts getting banned, but I have been not spamming the forum. Then why was it banned ?

I'd say an unhealthy (for you) conjunction of signature campaign, recently bought account, hardly substantial posting and a crack down on sig spam will probably be your reason.
2913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading with low amounts? Does it make sense? on: March 16, 2015, 10:27:46 PM
I am just someone who tried, who has no idea about trading.

Check out trading futures on okcoin.com .  You can utilize up to 20x leverage.

That's a disasterous combination.

If fees aren't an issue then a good trading system will work with big or small amounts. Try and find one, read, understand, then risk your money, not the other way round.
Do trades 'on paper' until a system proves itself.
As they say "Only risk what you can afford to lose".
2914  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: INVEST-BITCOIN 5% "Net profit per day" for 1 calendar day on: March 12, 2015, 05:44:08 PM
Our site  not a ponzi scheme, we  trading on exchanges and take profit.
we guarantee a profit only 5% per day...

O rilly?
Please, tell us more.
What exchanges? Do you do arbitrage? Credit swaps? Forex? Options? Buy low, sell high? (good one, that).
What do you do to offer 5% guaranteed profit per day?

From your website
"our team consists of professionals who predict such situations and skillfully avoid them."
Give us an example, go on.
2915  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.0008 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: March 12, 2015, 05:35:43 PM
hahaha .. no comment..

Keep laughing. Do not forget that you are also an investor here and if I lose, u r losing as well. The person above u is a troll and trolling in every cloud mining thread. Probably he has lots of spare time to do so. But your behavior shows your maturity is not more than a teenager.

In any case, I stand corrected to what I said. I created a separate account to test the new rates after reading here that those are paying well. After 2 and a half week, I can comfortably say, it is correct. CMW is paying very well for the new rates and the old loss can easily be covered with that. I'd be waiting for the daily payment report of those who have bought mining contract in the new rate...

My grandmother used to say: "Thief goes through the village only once!" In this case I see that someone didn't hear this proverb..

I will never ever give money to someone who once scam me!

Better u dont and let others make money from the miners bought from your investment. Probably, someone didn't hear this proverb...

Fools and their money are easily parted.

Quoted for posterity.

As for me being a troll kid with lots of time on my hands, you could't be more wrong.
I am a bitcoin enthusiast and potential investor who has been analysing cloud mining and other BTC opportunties for over a year now.
I am dismayed at the way people in Bitcoinland are so ready to believe that 2+2=5 and hand over hard earned money (irrespective of denomination) to a long procession of scammers and liars, with no hope of any recourse once it all goes wrong.
I also particularly dislike shills for Ponzi schemes who sing siren songs to lure in the next layer of gullible 'investors', so that they can profit from their loss.
Anyone with no morals can do that: someone who steals your wallet or burgles your house is profiting from your loss. Until I find a business that actually creates value by creativity and genuine endeavour, then my coin stays in my wallet, it doesn't bother me.
And I'll keep posting in threads like this, in the vain hope that it might make some less experienced people think twice before throwing their money away and enriching parasites.
2916  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: INVEST-BITCOIN 5% "Net profit per day" for 1 calendar day on: March 11, 2015, 07:31:26 PM
I got paid, at the moment  site not scam)

Yeah, we believe you.
Go away.

This is "online HYIP industry" guys, born like 10 years ago and still growing as fuck  Shocked
However, I made like $15.000 in 3 years through those Ponzi schemes  Grin

How much did you make from this one?

The ponzi you ran under your alt The GrandBitcoin, which stole how much?

2918  Economy / Gambling / Re: Not Making Any Money Gambling? - Earn BTC Online - $500 This Month GUARANTEED on: March 10, 2015, 09:13:28 PM
dumbest scam on here so far.. EARN 500$ BUT GIVE ME YOUR CC AND 50$ A MONTH

Wait what? You have to enter your credit card details first?

Yep. Check the thread.. There are a few screenshots.

ok too bad I don't have a CC.

No, that's a good thing that you don't have a credit card because if you did then you would give the details to anyone who asked for them on the internet. That's bad.
2919  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.0008 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: March 10, 2015, 08:34:24 PM
Rather than fighting here take a small piece of advice from my end. Get a new contract @ their new rates. These are paying exceptionally well. I got this notion from a discussion at their forum and it has worked. This is how your old investments will get covered. Decision is yours. Over to you...

Seems this guy is correct to some extent. I was fed up with the low payment of old contracts. New contracts bought in January did not help either. But, contracts after the new rate is established, seems to be paying really well. I'll be reporting here week on week basis. Already 2 week have passed and they have covered a lot. I think old contracts were on some old miner which are not performing well anymore. They might have got some new miner and established this new rate for those and hence paying well. This is a wild guess though... finger crossed.

FTFY.
2920  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: -------We Invest Bitcoin Investing Firm------- on: March 10, 2015, 07:50:50 PM
The correct section for this topic is Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling > Investor-based games.

I have reported that. There it fits the best. Smiley
Posting the thread there, thanks for the reply.
Edit: Not sure if that's the right section this isn't a game its a Investment Firm.

It's in exactly the right place.
It's a Ponzi.
This is where ponzis get put.
You are right though, it's not a Ponzi game like the kids on here have been having fun playing.
It's a proper old skool Ponzi Scheme, where they lie about income then steal your money.
