Waiting on Parodium to post a repayment address so that we can get the loan repaid.

That just made it worse, now you are telling me that Lutpin was the manager of a scam project such as Bitconnect?
No. You're not properly reading and thus you are making a fool of yourself with these false presumptions.

Here's who you're looking for: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=710241

Here is why I think BCH is Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vufeM92bfJw

I gave clear and consise reasons why I think that is the case.  Feel free to refute them with logic and evidence.
Your reasons are "bitcoin cash has ths, bitcoin core does not". What kind of bullshit rhetoric is that?
2906  Other / Meta / Re: url removed by t he board on: July 06, 2018, 05:46:46 PM
Suspicious sites' links are removed. You cannot post them.

Should be obvious why: you don't want users to be scammed or phished with some bitcointalk.ninja link (just as an example)
2907  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 06, 2018, 05:43:56 PM
can you think of something that fits there that couldn't be put in either Beginners and Help or Development and Technical Discussion?
General discussion on Bitcoin. Some ideas: "Public viewpoint of Bitcoin", "Depth of bitcoin knowledge of the average user", etc.
Back to the discussion, here: does the French board have a consensus on who the top two most qualified to-be moderators are?

I know that JohnUser doesn't want to be a moderator, so consider only the ones who are willing.
2908  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 06, 2018, 05:24:25 PM
most of the people who didn't want to spam but have relevant topics moved their topics to serious discussion or ivory tow.
I never liked the idea of ignoring the problem and just moving somewhere else.

Serious discussion and the Ivory Tower are good. But they should be temporary solutions. There will still be rampant spam in all sections namely Bitcoin Discussion which has devolved to the point where it seems insulting to have such a name. Moderators need to handle things on a more macro level (thread locks/trashing), or there should be more moderators appointed.

We should also have some better proactive measures against spam as the forum scales.
2909  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos you don't help us, so now close the french board on: July 06, 2018, 05:12:16 PM
What is meant by "experimental French users"?
Experienced.

First of all, that was just an example.
Problem being, reporting posts in the French section doesn't lead to results when the moderator doesn't moderate.

If he doesn't cite them then report them for plagiarism with the relevant links (by PMing a global mod).
It shouldn't have to be this contrived. :/

If the board is at the point where they have to PM global mods to help moderate the section then isn't it a huge red flag to theymos that he should enlist the help of a new moderator?
2910  Economy / Lending / Re: Want 0.05 BTC, 10 days, you will get 0.07 BTC+30k bitcoin one on: July 06, 2018, 02:07:50 AM
I have been working in the team of this currency will rise in a short time and I do not think the price will drop more as collateral sent to you in advance
Like I said, the collateral is worth less than half of the amount you want. It's going to sell for 0.0165 if the highest buy order consumes all 30K, which it doesn't.

I don't consider accounts to be worth anything so don't offer those. If there's other collateral then you should offer it. Did you have a specific reason for the loan?
2911  Economy / Lending / Re: Want 0.05 BTC, 10 days, you will get 0.07 BTC+30k bitcoin one on: July 06, 2018, 01:59:36 AM
Well I will send 30k bitcoin one As a precedence and after 10 day you will get 0.07 btc
Considering the fact that the collateral doesn't even amount to half the requested amount (going off stocks.exchange we have the highest buy listing @ 55 satoshi and it's not even 8000 BTCONE) it doesn't provide any security at all. The coin is difficult to liquidate if there's a price drop (since there's low volume and you'll have more volatility) as well.
2912  Economy / Lending / Re: Want 0.05 BTC, 10 days, you will get 0.07 BTC+30k bitcoin one on: July 06, 2018, 01:52:49 AM
hello bro if you give me 0.05 btc you will get after 10 days 0.09 btc deal ?
Considering the ramp-up in your repayment total, I really doubt that you aim to actually repay the loan.
2913  Economy / Lending / Re: Want 0.05 BTC, 10 days, you will get 0.07 BTC+30k bitcoin one on: July 06, 2018, 01:41:27 AM
You're offering a shitcoin with a $228 volume... in the past month. That is not what anyone would consider valid collateral. Try again, and look for something that's (at the very least) currently trading.
2914  Economy / Reputation / Re: SebastianJu accepts transaction buying/selling bitcointalk accounts on: July 06, 2018, 01:31:02 AM
are you also going to do favors for those who you or DT members trust? perhaps doing merit favors for them like some of the sources?
I am not aware of any DT member that wants merit that badly. Most are Hero Members and Legendary.

Who says DT=trusted? DT actually means that theymos is favoring a selected few over others, he is not doing anything if these trusted [... are] countering the feedbacks to hide the truth from the public eyes
This argument is still stupid and yet you continue to push it. Is this quote not enough? Haven't you seen it enough?

It's entirely legitimate to give someone a new positive rating just to negate a negative rating.

or [DT members] leaving positive trust on whomever they want with no reference.
You can leave feedback based on the person, not a specific trade.

- It's OK to post a rating about the person in general, not tied to a specific trade.

they are increasing the trust scores of anybody they want without providing any evidence other than their words.
[...]
Here take this positive trust because I trust this guy.(without providing any convincing reason so that people know why this guy has a green trust)
The comment section isn't relevant at all, then.

2916  Economy / Gambling / Re: New btc roulette - Sport, Dice, Casino - BetKing.io on: July 05, 2018, 09:39:45 PM
Could be. Allowing non-token investments means dilution of profits (if the site's activity remains unchanged) and negative effect on both, buy-back price and market price of tokens (why would you buy token if you could invest directly etc).
Dilution is mitigated by the commission which adds to the BKB price (idea that was proposed). And even for investors that don't want to put more in and only have the tokens, the buyback periods will still be active. Seems alright to me.
2917  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz account has most likely changed hands on: July 05, 2018, 09:23:20 PM
Hire a guy for 3$? That's ridiculous.
Have you not seen the legions of spammers, retweeters and bookfacers in the Altcoin section and, to a slighter lesser extent, the main boards? Huh

There are quite a number of folks willing to do more for less... Undecided
Considering the fact that aTriz is a Legendary user, wouldn't a low-ranking user think to themselves that it would be better to post from such an account and take a commission rather than earn less on their own account and mitigate against any ban risks?

And also, account farmers and sig spammers wouldn't really say no to more "free money" Smiley
2918  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: July 05, 2018, 08:38:59 PM
Marlboroza is trying to help scammers. here is the evidence: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4598987.0
What are you on about?

This is pertaining to those that are participating in scam ICO signature campaigns. I don't see a problem with marlboroza removing the tag once they stop. Unless you believe that all past participants of campaigns in which the promoted product was a scam should be tagged indefinitely.
2919  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: July 04, 2018, 05:19:36 PM
In my humble opinion, many more people than in the lottery can win in the pyramid. The whole experience of the pyramids proves this. I can agree, (what else can I do?) That they will lose about 80%, but still it is more than in lotteries. Plus, in the rules it is clearly written that the game Ponzi is a pyramid. All is honest and there is no deceit.
Your opinion is factually wrong. Provided that the ponzi provider doesn't run away and doesn't take any fees, you're looking at a zero-sum game. All the money passes from person to person.

There are only more winners than lowers when you have one person lose a LOT.
2920  Other / Archival / Re: Marlboroza is abusing DT power! on: July 04, 2018, 04:49:40 PM
Then the lottery is a kind of fraud, because the winnings are taken by people at the expense of other people.
No, because the payments will not be exclusively from new investors (which don't exist in a lottery since it is gambling). If you are going create this kind of false equivalence then you can say that any type of gambling is a ponzi scheme.

(And if you want to extrapolate it further, any company is a ponzi scheme)
