STILL no mining address posted, no pictures, no NOTHING.

And now they suddenly have chips for 10TH out of NOWHERE? Their foundry just decided to throw another 10k chips out now because shareholder are scared right?
Jesus fucking christ, who the hell is still buying this?

We do not have 10 TH of chips out of nowhere, we said that we will setup block labeling as soon as we reach that speed, which could be on the first days of october, so in "about" two weeks, or mid october. We will outsource deployment and assembly for the next batch of chips so that we will proceed at a much faster pace in the future.

Some pictures, a mining address, a explanation why you are soloming.

Please please something apart from your words! Words are no longer enough!!

Labcoin are laughing their asses off, they said two weeks on purpose. The hint is out that its a scam!
2903  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 11:45:54 AM
Will the dividend of current 2 TH still be the 17th? and the 4 TH online still monday?

There is no mining operation! Any dividend is from investor money!
2904  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 11:44:28 AM
Labcoin, right now take a photo of the rig and post it.

Please do this right now!

If not this is a proven scam.
2905  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 08:01:25 AM
I'm sorry to tell you, but you are going to wish you had the fortitude to see through this FUD and hold your shares.  We are seriously less than 90 days from ~300TH and hardware sales.  The reason why the price is so low is BECAUSE of the risk.  If it wasn't risky, the reward wouldn't be nearly as great.

Whatever, I really don't care if you make money or not.  I'm not selling, either follow me to the end zone, or drop the ball at the 5 yard line... your choice.

The shares are over 3x IPO valuation. They are not cheap (only cheap based on some bad math)

Risk implies risk. The risk is too great for me now. The signs point to a badly run company in the best case or a scam in the worst case. Obviously the risk is not so bad for you, I do envy people like you that have money to throw around like that. Unfortunately I don't have the same luxury to be so reckless.

Good luck. I hope you are genuine and not trolling to get more bagholders.
2906  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 07:49:19 AM
Keep it up guys, this exactly the kind of shit that will bring SEC regulation down on bitcoin stock exchanges.

Then exchanges will move to other places around the world. I can even imagine a hidden tor service exchange existing at one point.

Also if you don't like the cycles its is certainly the fault of Labcoin. They said they have 2TH/s, so mine at a pool and prove it, they could show images of the mining rig.

So why don't they!?

The volatility of the price is a function of Labcoin being pricks with giving out information. They allow the FUDers to do their thing. This is absolute pure free market, no nanny looking after your poor investments. Labcoin could have stopped all of this by giving some darn proof.

But all we get are some words on a forum almost asking for faith. Well sorry I am not religious.

Give it up already.  I'm sorry you placed your bids too low and they didn't fill.  I guess you'll just have to sit this round out.  Fud only works when your buddies back you up.  Your flying solo at the moment.

Wow dude you are a fool. How is demanding some evidence bad? Why not pool mine? Photos are easy to take in the modern era.

I am 50% sure the price will rise again on the "news" (because they will pump it again) and the remainder of my shares will fill and I will be out for good. However I had 0 buy orders this time because I feel the end of the line is approaching and am not willing to risk more Bitcoin on this one.

At one point I was heavily invested and this position is coming to an end.

@Narydu

Hello !

I don't understand what are you talking about: is the whole BTC mining operation just a big scam ?

Nope. Read about Bitcoin from the wiki, then read into how many of the early coins were Satoshi's but he wants to stay anonymous so Narydu is talking about an effective way Satoshi could get access to the coins without being traced.

Interesting, however he could shift small amounts of his money off using CoinJoin once it because a mature system and no one would be able to track him.

Do this enough times and eventually he would be able to separate million of dollars worth of bitcoin from his known addresses.
2910  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 07:19:41 AM
Blatant market manipulation! Seriously think TheSwede75 and the whole Labcoin team are involved. Otherwise all these odds cannot be explained.

I wonder who is buying now? Only someone who knew that good news was coming out. (hint: Labcoin)

If there's a post right after those buys....

You can stop now.  All of the FUDster's bids have been filled.

*sigh*

Quoting you for when this is revealed for what it is.

Question: are they "FUDster's" if they were right?

"Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful"

Except Warren Buffett only invests in companies with strong fundamentals. He wouldn't go anywhere near this turd.

Wow, this is crazy, when will the dumps stop?

When proof of hashing is posted.

Simple, really.

Step 1) Hold
Step 2) Watch weak hands fall for this AGAIN.
Step 3) Buy cheap shares
Step 4) Yawn and wait for next cycle

Except there is a limit to the amount of cycles this can happen before the truth comes out.

Kind of like a martingale where it keeps working until its all over. I rode a few cycles before but I have a feeling the last has been and gone.

Someone just bought 1 share!
2915  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 06:53:01 AM
Was going to go to bed, now I see the price tanking.  Sigh

Don't worry! What happens everytime the price tanks? Labcoin comes online!

So very soon Labcoin should be here to tell us how things are going.

The only reason that they would not come online is that this is the planned end of the line. If so 0.003 will be considered a good exit.

Oh come on... if this were a scam how hard would it be to buy some old Avalons and put up 2Th/s on Eligus? Along with some prototype circuitboards for a couple hundred bucks, they could easily boost the share price to the stratosphere before dumping.

With the amount of (hold on news, buy cheap, give news, sell high) cycles they would make more money just using investor funds to buy and sell shares. Hell they can pay that back as a dividend instead of waiting to buy avalons. I am sure some of their money went into the ASIC, but not all!

Was going to go to bed, now I see the price tanking.  Sigh

It would be very, very simple for Labcoin to stop the tanking.

Why aren't they?

Because they are buying cheap shares. I am not even joking this cycle is so predictable.

Once it hits 0.002 news will come.

EDIT: they are not using their locked shares even, I am certain they have been using some of the investor funds to buy and sell shares all this time.

2918  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi foresee that secp256r1 was compromised? on: September 12, 2013, 06:13:42 AM
It would be kind of genius if the reason Bitcoin does not use secp256r1 was because Satoshi knew about its possible weaknesses.
No need to assume that. Secp256k1 was sort of the obvious choice for Bitcoin because of the performance considerations. (Today you would have chosen Ed25519 instead)

Oh ok. Do you reckon there is any need to switch bitcoin over to Ed25519 at the moment? Or do you trust the magic numbers in Secp256k1?
2919  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 12, 2013, 06:10:29 AM
This whole thing definitely feels weird. Something isn't completely on the up and up here.

I don't think they're an outright scam, but I no longer believe they're actually hashing.  I won't believe it until I see a stamped block or they join a pool.

I agree.

Think about it, you get your first 2,000 GH/s and you want to start earning back some Bitcoin, so you use a pool.

They could be mining at a pool, generating the first dividend. But nope. They are "solomining" and they will miss all the difficulty changes and lose our money.

They could be generating some amount of Bitcoin every day through a pool.

The issue with using a pool? They would have to give out their pool name because 2th/s gets you in the top 25 at btcguild.

I really think they said solomining because they are not mining at all.
2920  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi foresee that secp256r1 was compromised? on: September 12, 2013, 06:03:25 AM
I discussed this with Satoshi. There is no particular reason why secp256k1 is used. It just happened to be around at the time.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2699.0

Yeah I saw that, but if he knew that secp256r1 was possibly compromised he might have wanted to divert the conversation and hide his real reason for using secp256k1. (He probably knew that if he started talking about how secp256r1 was compromised people would see him as a nut case and that could undermine bitcoin in the early years)
