2901  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 12, 2016, 02:58:11 AM
Bitcoin, although gold is also a good option for investment, but btc is the future. It is volatile, but still it is trustworthy. After a few years I would be different person owing these btcs.
I think gold good investment if you choose to invest in a safe, but I think if you want to invest in gold you should have substantial capital and patience to wait for the price change

I agree with you gold is really a safe investment because the value of gold is just keep on increasing as the time goes by. But bitcoin is also having the same characteristic with gold and so I will going to choose bitcoin. Because here in my country only rich people are the ones who are able to buy gold or unless you inherit that gold.

but for me bitcoin have higher chance to growing, and i will choose bitcoin as main investmen, gold as jewelry for my wife Roll Eyes

You hit it there! Smiley bitcoin for investment and gold for jewelry to wife and other loved ones. This is actually the common practice to majority of people. Majority of us tend not to invest into gold and just use it for jewelry, while majority of bitcoin holders use btc for investment and for other online transactions.
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 12, 2016, 02:54:54 AM
If they hate it, they do not even know what it is.  They are missinformed and think it's just  used for drug traffic and other sort of crime.People need to start learning  about bitcoin and their  view about it will certainly change.

Well that is really what others thinking about bitcoin at first they just only know that bitcoin is being used in the deepweb but in reality there are a lot of things that bitcoins can be spend to. I think that is not a good thinking if they are going to think about bitcoin related to crimes or illegal activities because fiat money does involves too.

Whether it is a fiat money like: dollar, pounds, yen, and the like or cryptocurrencies like: bitcoin, monero, etherium , and the like, all of them can be use for any illegal transaction both online and offline. Now, the parameter should be how convenient certain currency is and how beneficial their features are to the consumers.
2903  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 12, 2016, 02:38:06 AM
It would be good to store and wait  for the price to go up. It may go  up quite a lot in the coming years.  However , if you know a lot about the market you could  trade and probably make daily profits..  For this you need to have a good  understanding of  how the market works.

Yes but do not invest all of them in trading, keep something as a back up so even if your trade doesn't work for you, you always have an spare money which will help you in future.
i am going to hold all the 10 bitcoins and not to use it or invest it any where, because the price of bitcoin is expected to increase so much even reach to 1200USD very soon, therefore i think it will be a good decision to hold bitcoin and not to use it any where.

This is my goal to that the price of bitcoin is going to reach $1,000 and above. And if someone is going to give me this amount of bitcoin then I will just going to keep on holding because I know it is going to get profitable when I will going to hold it for a long time and the price of bitcoin is going to increase by that time and after that, that's the time to think about how I will going to use that amount wisely.

In my opinion, I guess the reason why OP asked this is because he/she was looking for someone's idea how to grow his/her 10 bitcoin. Now, if we just hold it to our wallet with no action whatever to make it grow, then it defeats the real purpose of the OP - he/she can hold that certainly with no need of much help.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 11, 2016, 04:28:11 AM
If I were rich, I would make one crazy highroll session and never return again, there are much more better ways to spend excess money, like charity or donations on some projects you'd like to see, or you can support your favorite artists. I think those things would mean much more than gambling for most people.

I agree with this. If we are that rich, we can allocate some portion of our money to give to charity, support artists, finance scientific studies to cure various diseases and the like. This indeed gives more meaning to our lives more than anything else. After all, we will all leave this world but we have left a legacy and help other people in need.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: September 11, 2016, 04:22:37 AM
Actually there is but not every one spend time to find the way and it's not just one way but several.
And the reason for casinos to earn is because people are greedy and want chunks of cash in just one bet.
Nuh yes im agree with you mate, Everyone is lazy to find one and of course in every game there are safe method in the place you need to smart so that you dont lose that fast we lose several times but its normal when is gambling the twin are naturaly showing either you lose your money or you win the profit..
We lose always and w win sometimes, that's how gambling works so we need to accept that reality instead even if we are losing in gambling we also need to enjoy to easy accept the defeat.

That is correct. In gambling, we win some and we lose some. If you are a pro gambler, you will create more sessions so that you will have more chances to get lucky and have more wins than losses. But yes, there will be days that we get bust all and so with other days that we will be on nice and shiny profits.
2906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: September 11, 2016, 03:44:05 AM
you should never do that to be honest, in my opinion it is better to not put big bets because you will lose money
Greedizness will never a solution to get what you wanted in life you should play smart in every game your facing with your oppionion is good and i am 200% agree with you mate better save that money for purposes and never loss that

In gambling, greed can turn gold into stones. This always happens to me before and I have witnessed a lot of other experiences from friends and fellow players online. We see that players are already winning big (as we see it in high rollers) and they tend to not stop and want more - and then few reds happen and they get wrecked.
2907  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 11, 2016, 03:40:25 AM
a full time job you will always have steady income till you work there so dont go looking at bitcoin for steady income cause that is probably the most unsteady income you could hope for.
Still bitcoin is very profitable but not what your looking for if you want x paycheck amount every month.
Yes full time job plus over time will always be a good way to have income per month and if work hard then you can achieve your goal someday bitcoin is just a sideline where sometimes you get not enough money to supoort your love ones .
I have a different situation from you, right now bitcoin is my side job because I am currently employed in a reputable company, however I am not quite satisfied with my salary and I am lucky I am beginning my journey in bitcoin and hope that I will be going full time in bitcoin and completely leave my job.
so do i kabayan im still employed but currently doing bitcoin trading i just needed to have stable position with my current trade and i also planning to resign after this year since that i find trading is one of the best ways to earn stable income if you know how to make proper position and predict what the price will move you can control your earnings.

I like the way you say it - we can move and control our earnings. I am now just starting trading cryptocurrencies and yes, if we just know what we are doing, then we are in a good position to earn to our desired earnings with trading. We just don't have to be greedy and get at least certain percentage of profit and then just rinse and repeat positioning.
2908  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 11, 2016, 03:35:28 AM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
since you are right that to look toward the millionaire we habe ideas to left the job . but i can't left my job . because what happened if the government of the country in which you lives will declare bitcoin as a illegall this will result in the sell of our btc at lower rate and became a jobless person .
That is to impossible to declare bitcoin as illegal, this is just a currency and it has nothing to do with some illegal things in the internet, the fault is not on bitcoin but on the users who are willing to do a crime using the benefits of bitcoin which is being anonymous.

I agree, criminals are taking the advantage of bitcoin because of its anonymous transaction. Which makes bitcoin having a bad image because of them. But i don't think the government will bother banning bitcoin or declare it as illegal in a country because they have more problems to solve and if they really do, bitcoin users will find a way to use it even if it's ban there.

Although there is some animosity offered by bitcoin, the transactions can still be traceable because it is public. That is the reason why there is some spike of price rising to Monero crypto coin because they can offer that level of animosity for those illegal transactions like drugs and similar illegal things in nature.
2909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 11, 2016, 03:29:09 AM
Gambling promises easy money. With little effort we can gain huge profit. Thats why people keep coming back to do it day by day no matter what the result is. Common sense is no longer valid if we've become addicted to gambling.

If this is the thinking of a new gambler (to gain profit), then he/she will surely get busted. Fact is, there is always a house edge in any casino whether online or offline. If you will not combat that first, then you will eventually lose and feel depressed. How to combat this house edge? you may ask me.. Well, this will be a long process, training, and more study to do as what pro gamblers does.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 11, 2016, 03:22:41 AM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards
i think you are fond of funny gambling game . i will suggest you to gamble with free btc which can be only to use betting at that site . the site is satoshimines. i hope this site will give a better way to gambling without loss . since if you will look to deposit and play then you can try . but i will suggest dont gamble with btc or money .

If you really want to stay away from gambling, better not play even with free money because this will eventually entice you to deposit real money, especially when you get bored winning with play money. By not playing even with free money, you are on the good position to more forward and do something worthwhile and not even wasting time with playing fake money.
2911  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 11, 2016, 03:18:41 AM
Do you use bitcoin as currency? Or you use bitcoin as investment? Or both?
I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising Grin

So, how about you?
i am uses bitcoin as a investment purpose only . because i think with the investment we can get a better amount of profit .
i am not using bitcoin as a currency because there is high dee charge to buy goods in some cases . somewhere i found there is about 3-4% fee to buy goods with btc . however i am also not interested to buy products only through btc .
For now, you are in the right side, investment is the best focus since bitcoin is still in its young stage and we can see more room of price improvement in the future, and that is why we are betting on the future of bitcoin through consistently saving our bitcoin while waiting for the right timing to cash out with profit.

By seeing we invest with bitcoins is a very general term on investing. There are many ways we can invest through bitcoins like online casino house bankroll investment, ico cryptocurrencies, exchange and trading, and the like. So, if we have little amount of bitcoin at the moment, we better focus our investment to one investment vehicle and know well that investment to mitigate risk and increase the chances of profit.
2912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 10, 2016, 12:27:00 PM
Most of the times investing is better because its safer and also can be more profitable, if you want to play it safe its better to choose investments most of the time.
Investment is safer if you take your time to research the company in which you are investing, if you do not take your time to do your research, I think investing can be even more dangerous than gambling because you will get a false sense of security that in fact is not there.

Totally agree with this. As what Sun Tzu said in the art of war, know thy enemy first. Although companies that offers investment are not your enemy, you should treat them as they are so that you will do greater due diligence of researching the company before you invest.

It is very essential so that you will have peace of mind after you have invested. Well, having known all the ins and outs of the company, it is still not guarantee that you will profit - how much more if you don't know the company you plan to invest to.
2913  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 08, 2016, 04:02:20 AM
Definitely not from the top price. I may reconsider it when it drops to 400$. Would definitely buy from that price.

That does not matter actually if someone wants to buy since the price is growing, so if you buy now when the price is growing you would probably earn your profit according to that so you don't need to wait for a that big drop really.
you are right, it does not matter when you buy your bitcoins i think that it is always going to bring you profit as the price is going to a new all time high

I would say that you must consider the price if you are going to buy and you are not just going to buy immediately because if you are going to do that possible thing that you are going to loss profit instead of getting one. So I would say that if you are waiting for the price to decrease then that's going to be a good option.

This is true if you want to profit in short term. However, if you are up for a long haul, then current prices doesn't really matter to you at all.. All you have to do is set a schedule as to when to buy bitcoins like once a week or twice a week. At the end of the day - may it be a decade from now, all of those buys during high prices will be compensated by the buys on low prices - and once bitcoin price will continue growing, then you will be on a big green for sure.
2914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 05, 2016, 07:47:14 AM
I t is very possible to replace bank, reasons:

1. bitcoin is faster than wire transfer
2. bitcoin transaction fee is very low, compare to international transfer
3. some banks use blockchain service now.

Then that is the more reason that they should stay. There are using it now and already adapting so why cease it. Let it be the reason to make it stronger, combine the two for a better solution and convenience for every user.

Every good and established business like the banks for instance, they will be focusing on serving value and convenience to their clients. These are the reasons why people stays loyal because of the value they received - I will not wonder if banks will make some enhancement in their services to integrate bitcoin soon.
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 05, 2016, 07:41:34 AM
i would definitely invest in order not to lose a lot of money in gambling
Definitely that is the best way to earn money, investing is one of the profitable way because you will always win as you are with the house, I have seen someone here making a thread and as of now he is making a great return of his investment. But you have to consider a bigger amount for a bigger return.
You can't getting profit if you only have small capital to invest , especially in bitcoin casino (see the rules in any gambling sites about this)
As you said , bigger capital means bigger return to get and it avoids you for your money ran out in the house.
but if you have small capital and you invest it you can increase you capital to be bigger
do you have any assurance? it is much harder to increase your money if you only have small capital and if you don't have skills.
thats how you start to get skilled , if you start with bigger capital and no skills you lose all big capital but with small capital you can win something about gambling

regardless whether you have the capital or not, gambling is always give you negative expect values. In another words, even if you have super big capital, you will still end up losing in the long run. And that is how the casino make money. If rich people can ensure that they win with big capital, the casino would have been bankrupt a lot of times.
I do not agree with it, we can win in gambling if we have a bigger bankroll, it is just that we have no proper control due to lack of discipline. If only we were able to manage our bankroll we can have a good return if we will stick always to the game plan despite of the ups and downs of the game.

Even then, if you have a big bankroll and proper control (which it seems a lot of people that gamble seem to be lacking), your expected value will be negative in the end simply because of the house edge.

Even in 50/50 odds to win, your actual odds are more likely to be somewhere near 49.5% to win (depending on the casino) because the casino needs to earn money for their service.

The only way you will ever win in gambling if you hit it big early in your gambling "carreer" and then never hit the tables again. But I guess most people don't have the guts to do this as it also feels too good to keep playing after such a win, thinking you can get even more.

That is right, it is very rare to find a person that will just gamble once like hit and run thing. Most of the people that will go gamble will play for a longer period of time before stopping. But of course, there are really people like that but as I have said, they are very rare kind of breed. This is a good thing but when they lost that first bet, I don't think so that they will go - for sure, they will chase their loses and that is the start of being hooked to gambling.
2916  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 05, 2016, 07:36:24 AM
Nowdays i am using bitcoin as investment cause as currency it's not really good enough, it's hard to even spend somewhere without exchanging. Sad
Oww that's great that you're holding your bitcoin and you keep on earning so that you can rich your capital for investment for me since you don't have signature campaign try to join and you can earn so that in can help you too to earn bitcoin and so that you can easily rich your goal capital to start investing or trading

With signature campaign, we can get some bitcoins and in my case, I use my earnings to trade and do some dice games and sportsbetting. I am now learning myself how to properly and systematically trade with crypto currencies. I feel in love in trading because I really find it cool - making money by implementing yur tecnical and fundamental skills.

Exactly, trading is an exciting journey to earn bitcoins, and with proper knowledge and skills the chances of making profits gets even higher, income from signature is good for taking care of basic expenses.
income of signatures can be used as capital for the traders but I would have preferred if the income of the signature used for covering losses so I'm not afraid to not sell bitcoin when prices fall.
every one has their own idea and have full right to  use bitcoin according to their own wishes, but i personally use the signature campaign earning as my pocket money, it really help me in controlling my personal daily expenses up to some limit.

What do you mean as your pocket money - your signature campaign earnings? Do you mean, your savings or the one you will buy for your daily needs and wants? Because my understanding about pocket money is the one you can conveniently spend when it needed and the one that is for savings are saved in the bank.
2917  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 07:34:11 AM
No, because i can work in bitcoin while im in my office that is why i do not need to quit and to be full time in bitcoin, i treat bitcoin as my other source of income i participate any time i want no time required.

This is a wise and safe decision - a conservative one. This is also I am recommending to others because quiting your day job and venturing new things is hard especially when you have already a family of your own. I can say this first hand because I quit my job and venture bitcoin and until now we are still strugling - good thing that my wife is not that materialistic and we live each day struggling. I am hopeful and praying that this new venture of mine will be successful and we will eventually reap what we planted and our sacrifices will be rewarded soon.
2918  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 05, 2016, 07:31:07 AM
I certainly would invest in both, but most of it into bitcoins, because from what I see in the current situation of the economy, there are signs for positive changes in the Bitcoin price, maybe very soon.

Well you are going to do the best thing in investment. As we all know that gold is just keep on fluctuating its value higher and higher as the time is passing by. And as well as bitcoin the same characteristic with gold but still there is no assurance with bitcoin unlike with gold you have assurance that you are going to get profit surely.

That is correct that we will eventually profit if we invest with gold however, investing more in bitcoin is I think the best way to go now. Look at Microsoft and internet, it is way newer than gold but it is now worth that big because it was the new thing in technology and people patronizes it until now and for sure until the future - this is same thing with bitcoin.
2919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 05, 2016, 07:28:16 AM
To stay away from gambling, you should have a conviction that you will really not do gambling anymore. You should involve yourself in beneficial activities to take away your mind from gambling. Maybe you have a sport that you really like then convert your attention to that and focus in to it because maybe when you're lucky then you can join some competitions. Spend time with your loved ones because surely you lost a lot of time when you are still addicted to gambling so make the most of it. If possible, let someone handle your funds so that when you have an urge to gamble again, you cannot do so because you cannot freely access your funds.

I agree to this that in order for you to free from gambling, you need to do something as its replacement. However, always make it sure that the one you are replacing with gambling is something more meaningful and productive. That way, your life will be worth spent and happy. That is what we want after all, to pursuit happiness here in this world.
2920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 05, 2016, 07:25:26 AM
I really think that some people show resistance to put efforts in learning new things, but once they understand and learn to use the Bitcoin technology, they surely will start to accept it.
Correct that is why we can not say that there are people who hates bitcoin, some users says some people hates bitcoin because they do not know what is bitcoin then why they hates bitcoin? they do not even know what is bitcoin? because if they understand what bitcoin is i think they will start loving it.

Well that is not considered that people who doesn't know about bitcoin and they are becoming instant haters of bitcoin. I guess the people who are
hating bitcoin is that the ones that failed with bitcoin. And they just want to destroy the reputation of bitcoin and it is going to make their business destroy too if bitcoin is increasing.

For me, it is not wise for let us say cryptocurrency competitor of bitcoin to destroy the latter because every crypto currency is being founded by bitcoin. Why I say that? Well, try to observe exchange and trading sites, what you see there is that in order to get certain crypto currency, you need to exchange it with bitcoins and also when bitcoin is going down for a long period of time, other crypto currencies will tend to go down its price also (not on the closest time that bitcoin is down but after several days or months, they will also going down)
