2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about the Ethereum Meta token. on: November 16, 2021, 03:03:38 PM
Does your transaction broadcast and fail or it doesn't broadcast at all?
Do you have ethereum in your wallet? For making any ERC20 token transaction, you need to have ethereum in the address you send the token from. It's needed for paying the transaction fee.

If you have ethereum in the address and the problem is that your transaction fails, please share the transaction ID. It may be helpful to understand the issue. (If you don't concern about your privacy, of course)
2902  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Please suggest on saving fees on Trustwallet on: November 16, 2021, 01:40:49 PM
if i swap on poocoin app rather than on pancake swap, does it make any difference in transaction fees?
I haven't ever used the service you are talking about and I just made a search to find it.
In the case this is the service you are talking about, it seems that they are also using pancakeswap service. Therefore, the fee you pay for your trades there should be same as pancakeswap.

2903  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question for bounty campaigns on: November 16, 2021, 01:17:49 PM
It is cheating and you will be banned for it
As stated by mocacinno, the rule prohibiting users from enrolling multiple accounts in a bounty/signature campaign is usually set by bounty/signature campaigns managers, not the forum.

In the case someone joins a campaign with multiple accounts and that's caught, the user will probably get negative trust from other users.
Since almost no campaign accept users with negative trust, there is no difference between getting a negative trust and getting ban for those who are here only for campaigns.
2904  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory Wallet 0.93.2 PROBLEMS on: November 16, 2021, 09:30:43 AM
Obviously, there's something wrong with that instance.
It seems to be a bug.
I just made a search and found the following topic. yslyung reported a same issue with Armory in 2015. OP's image has been also taken in 2015.
Suddenly too much BTC in my armory ? Weird issues.

The balance shown in that old topic is 184467440736 BTC. That's same as OP's balance here.
2905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need some help with Saitama on: November 16, 2021, 08:50:15 AM
The transaction fees were almost 2200 euros.
2200 euros? Are you sure of that?
As I already said in my previous post, the transaction fee in ethereum network is so high. But not really that high.
2200 euros worth of ethereum is 0.58 ETH and I am pretty sure you didn't pay that much for transaction fee.
Assuming all the 0.0015 ETH has been spent for the transaction fee, that's only around 6 euros.
2906  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet fee. on: November 16, 2021, 08:40:14 AM
So, if I import my seed phrase to another wallet, then I can use the new wallet features? For example, the Trust Wallet doesn't support a coin swapping, but another wallet can. I want to import the Trust Wallet seed phrase to another wallet, then swap my coin and back to the Trust Wallet again.
If the new wallet supports that coin/token and uses the same derivation path as trustwallet, yes. Your fund will appear in the new wallet.
As stated by Bitcoin_Arena, most wallet use the same derivation path and that shouldn't be a problem. But there's chance the derivation path is different.

Also note that it's not recommended to use a same seed phrase in two different wallets. It may decrease your security. I suggest you to make a new wallet (with a new seed phrase) and move all your fund to that after you swapped your coins.
2907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet fee. on: November 15, 2021, 10:56:57 PM
As far as I know, trustwallet doesn't allow you to export individual private keys. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please)
For exporting your wallet from trustwallet, you must use your seed phrase.
Given the different derivation paths used by different wallets, there is no guarantee that the seed phrase given by trustwallet will give you same addresses for all coins/tokens in a different wallet and you may have to make a transaction and pay the network fee.
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need some help with Saitama on: November 15, 2021, 10:28:06 PM
I guess all your 0.0015 ETH was spent for paying the network fee.
Currently, the transaction fee on ethererum network is so high, especially when you call a smart contract. Given the current state of the network, I don't think 0.0015 ETH is a big amount for transaction fee.

As said by JeromeTash in the above post, please share your transaction ID (If you don't care about your privacy, of course). It can be helpful to find out what happened to your ETH.
2909  Other / Archival / Re: Casascius Coin unpeeled on: November 14, 2021, 06:49:29 PM
You must import the private key into a wallet and then send the fund to an exchange.

Given the high value of the fund and for more security, you can import the private key into an offline computer and sign the transaction there. A good option with such a feature is electrum. (There are other good choices too.)
In the case you want to use electrum, download it only from its official website and do not forget to verify your download.
Click here to read the guide on how to spend your fund without your private key touching the internet.

Note that you should deposit the fund into a reputable exchange and read its terms and conditions before depositing the fund. They may ask you to verify your identity.

What's the code you are talking about? (Don't post it here, just tell us how it looks like)
Is it a private key or a seed phrase?

If that's a private key, it should start with 5, L or K. (There are other formats for a private key, but they are not common)
If that's a seed phrase, it should be a series of words (usually 12 or 24 words)
2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Question on: November 14, 2021, 05:11:07 PM
A single private key get you access to a single address.
As stated by Little Mouse in the first reply, if you want to access more than 1 address, you have to import all private keys. For accessing x addresses, you need x private keys.

The easier method is to use your seed phrase (a series of 12/24 words)
Your seed phrase can generate all your private keys and can be used for accessing all your addressees easily.

By 5 accounts, if you mean 5 addresses in a single wallet, you need only 1 seed phrase.
If you mean 5 different wallets, you need 5 seed phrases.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: November 13, 2021, 05:24:17 PM
I am shocked when I clicked on the Twitter icon on Gold website and saw the account was suspended. Honestly I did not know it because I don't usually visit the Twitter of gold project. How long did it happen?
It has been more than a year since their twitter account was suspended.
Click here to see the post made by terciduk123 regarding the issue with GOLD twitter account, 1 year and 3 months ago.
It seems that the twitter account will remain suspended forever. I think it would be better if the link to twitter account is removed from the website.
2913  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Wallet- Google verification code not coming through on: November 13, 2021, 04:35:57 PM
More important, many people don't backup the activation code or QR code so in case their device is broken, they can not self-recover 2FA............
In the case someone hasn't saved that code, it's still possible to backup the 2FA codes.

Google authenticator allows you to export your accounts using a QR code. (more than 1 QR code, if you have many accounts)
You can save that QR code and use it whenever you want to use a new device for any reason.
To do so, you should tap on the "3 dots" button at top of the screen, select transfer accounts and then "Export accounts".

Since your phone doesn't allow you to take a screenshot from the QR code due to security reasons, you have to take a photo using another device.
2914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Trapped in Cold Storage on: November 12, 2021, 08:08:59 PM
I have 10,000 infinite coins I believe on a external drive. I have the QR code in png format but dont know how to retrieve the coins as an example.
As long as we don't know what's the QR code, no one can help you. As mentioned by LoyceV, we need more information.
Scan the QR code using a QR Code scanner in a safe device and tell us how it looks like. (Don't ever share the code here, just tell us the number of characters and the letter/number it starts with.)

Isn't that a series of words?
There's also the possibility that they are your private keys.
2915  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Wallet- Google verification code not coming through on: November 12, 2021, 06:24:51 PM
Google Authenticator doesnt seem like a good idea..It has no security measure for accessing the code. You just open the app and there it is...So, if I lose my phone or it's stolen, any accounts attached to that app could be compromised...
It would be better to install the google authenticator in another device. The thief can't access your account only with google authenticator.
If you install kucoin, google authenticator, your email application all in one device, then your account may be compromised in the case your phone is stolen.

Also, do not forget to keep the secret key (the key kucoin gives you for setting up 2FA in google authenticator). It can be used if you don't have access to your phone for any reason.

Why the ban hasn't been reported in the modlog?
As far as I know, the modlog doesn't report the ban only if that's temporarily.
According to the rules, since chaser15 (the hacker) has shared a malware, the ban should be permanent. So, it should be displayed in the modlog. It's weird.
2917  Other / Meta / Re: Badly need your help your guys. on: November 11, 2021, 07:40:48 PM
Are you sure your account has been banned?
There is no record in modlog. Maybe, you have been banned temporarily?

Most probably, some one hacked your account and made that post.

2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this Dogecoin transaction on: November 09, 2021, 12:11:05 AM
As stated by Yogee in the above post, you can find so many transactions like this in dogecoin and bitcoin blockchain as well.
If you have received x transactions and you want to spend all the fund in single transaction, your transaction will include x inputs.

Note that it doesn't matter whether you have received the all the transactions in a single address or different addresses.
Even if you have received all x transactions in a single address, you still have x UTXOs.

In the transaction you are referring to, the sender has spent 34 UTXOs in a single transaction.

if i hold 12500 fun token, after 30 days if i hold bitcoin i get 2,5+4,08% - total 6,58% profit and after 90 days 9% interest on bitcoin or no?
No. You won't get an additional interest of 2.5%.
Your interest you get now will increase by 2.5%. This means that your interest rate will be multiplied by 1.025.
So, in the case you hold 12,500 FUN tokens, after 30 days, your annual interest rate will increase to 4.182.
2920  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Risk Of Losing Bitcoins Through Seed Creation on: November 08, 2021, 02:08:06 PM
The security of a bitcoin private key is 128 bits.
128 or 256?

Isn't that any integer between 1 and 2256 (or any 64 character number in hexadecimal format) can be turned into a valid private key?
I know the exact number is a little smaller due to secp256k1 ECDSA standard, but the number of valid private keys should be much bigger than 2128.

What I am missing here?
