Playoffs time. Smiley

here's my pick for the coming games. Not going to pick at least 1 game a day, this time I'll be adding some spice and let's see if we can be profitable.
So here it is.

Brooklyn Nets ML and +4
Suns -10.5
Heat -6.5

GL Everyone!

I like the Nets tomorrow, though they are the underdog, I feel they are still the better team as both Durant and Irving have a great experience in the playoffs. I understand that the Celtics are playing great basketball in the season, but this is playoffs, great players do excel. Look what happen to the Memphis, I'm seeing the same result.

Everyone is laying the Nets it seems.  I liked them but that's scary.  I will take the celts -4 at home.  Will hedge with an over bet.  If the Nets get hot this could end up over 250 points total.  Then in the later game I like the pels to keep it close with the Suns but eventually lose.  Good luck everyone and enjoy the games!  Go knicks 😂
2922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 17, 2022, 03:36:45 AM
I look forwards on Cleveland Cavaliers on the Eastern conference finals, though their stats looks average to some players but I think they can be on the semis or be the Eastern finals. Do sports betting website have this kind of market where you can pick a team and predict if they can reach finals or not?

ya.ya.yo!

Is this a bot account?  The cavs didn't make it out of the play in game let alone a conference finals?  Might want to plug into the internet and look up if a team is even in the playoffs to get to a conf finals before posting.  They have talent and the future is bright but this year they are going to be watching the ayoffs like all of us are 😀
2923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 17, 2022, 12:40:51 AM
Taking golden state and hoping steph plays.  -6.5 is a little steep but I think if steph plays they cover.  Just imagine the Nuggets with a healthy MPJ and Jamal Murray.  Amazing what jokic has done with a shell of a team.  Dudes a monster.
2924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 16, 2022, 09:21:19 PM
After running several bounty campaigns I have noticed that they only attrach bot accounts, multiple fake accounts controlled by one person or low quality accounts that can not even give adequate comments - it is not the same as it used to be back in the days in 2018. Where has all the quality crowd gone?

2018 was good quality?!?  This forum has always been filled with bots or spammers well before 2018.  Offer a bounty and the cockroaches will come out of every corner.  It's no different now than it was in 2018 or even 2016 tbh.
2925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitgert is all set to surpass Solana on: April 16, 2022, 09:19:43 PM
Guys, Bitgert is outperforming and maybe surpassing Solana soon. Is that true? Or just talks as of now.

People shill their bags man.  You can take any moment in time and say this one is out performing the other it doesn't amount to anything since crypto can fall so quick.  Personally never even heard of it will check it out but I don't think it will press sol anytime soon.
2926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 16, 2022, 09:16:50 PM
As a spurs fan I am so happy that Clips lost, and Kawhi wasn't even playing. Dude is a true part-time player and they are paying so much money to him just so he would miss the season at all times. They have never won anything with him neither, we did, and I have to accept Raptors did, which is cool for them and since it was Raptors I really felt happy.

But, clips getting nothing out of him makes me happy, I hope dude retires soon. Hawks also looked cool but they are decent team anyway and it is not shocking. You know what is shocking? How good cavs are, normally when Lebron leaves, they look horrible and both the first time he did to Miami, and the second time when he left to lakers, Cavs looked horrible but now they look so much better.

And the cavs played hurt all year long.  They are a top 4 team if they do t lose sexton for the year and all the other players for good chunks.  I expect them to make noise next year.  Mobley looks like the real deal he needs to put on a couple more pounds and he will be a force.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2022, 09:14:00 PM
I like the Grizzlies ML in game bet here.  Think morant goes on a tear in the 2nd.  And next game I like Philly-4.5 at home.  I might even tease that one.  Think they get a double digit win here.  Still waiting for the golden state game to male a pick there, not sure who I want in that one.

It looks like Shiba inu is the biggest Ponzi scheme of them all, if not why look like it? Whales kept buying billions and billions of Shiba inu tokens since last week like they heard a rumour or something and now Shiba listed on the Robinhood exchange then the price starts going down, tell me this is not an inside job.

This is how it always works.  Almost all of these are scams and as far as exchange listing it always happens look at the volume of any alt before a major exchange addition lots of volume.  That's the people who know they are listing them loading up the truck lol.  If you arent in the know you are bound to lose with these tokens.  Best stuck with bitcoin.
2929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 16, 2022, 12:48:49 AM
ML for both teams is also good enough if you are unsure, do or die and both teams are hoping to take the

last ticket to the playoffs, for sure both will do everything that they've got to win and make a playoff appearance. Though with
that handicap for Hawks, a small spread and you'll win much better may attract most Hawks fans.

We can't say if who can win both teams have their own rally and they can win, the one that played as a team will have a
better opportunities to take the last spot.
I'll just go ML. It can be a close game and a point might make the difference. Also, I am placing a little amount for an overtime. Who knows, I may hit a jackpot.  Grin Cavaliers and Hawks are almost identical if you look at the match up. Garland vs Trae, Mobley vs Capella, Love vs Huerter in shooting range and Markkanen vs Bogdan. Without Collins for the Hawks and Allen for Cavs. This may be one of the greatest games in the tournament if ever they could bring it at a close range game. I will not miss this one. Rooting for Cavs ML.

As a knick fan I hate to say this but I'm going with the Hawks.  Trae is something else in these type of games.  Even though it's on the road.  X factor here is capella.  Mark, Mobley or love won't be able to muscle him.  If cavs had Allen completely different game but they don't.  Hoping for the cavs too cause I can't stand watching trae..

Lol, I still remember how Trae beat the Knicks last year and it seems they can't get over it because they didn't make the playoffs for this year. And I agree with you that Trae is different in this type of games. However, I'm not seeing how not Mobley and Love can't outmuscle Capella inside. I think either one of them can play defense on Clint, but they need to be wary of Young penetrating and dishing out a lob pass to Clint. And it seems gamblers are 50/50 in this game.

It's not that they haven't gotten over it they just suck.  Randle regressed, Burks should be coming off the bench and knicks had no point guard with drose out all year.  They need to hit on some of these draft picks.  So depressing lol.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2022, 12:32:17 AM
Trae..

I'm with you on this one.  2 reasons:  Trae in these games knows how to get it done and flourishes and then capella.  Nobody on cavs can body him down low.  Expecting 15-20 rebounds from Clint.  Heart says cavs brain says Hawks on this one.
Erk. wheelz. Same dilemma.  Grin But thanks for the short analysis about the Capella thing. Yes, I'll go Hawks too. Win or lose. It's a close spread so I guess it won't hurt at all even if the Hawks will fail to win this but I have high hopes they can.
Garland is what I am worried about most. If he goes in his zone it's difficult to stop him. But crap, Hawks -2.5. Let's go Trae.

In the other game, I'm with the Clippers -1.5. I may be able to watch this live. Good luck to everyone and I wish you also made up your decisions as I did.

Going on the same side fellas, the Hawks should get it done at home.
Trae Young is a real superstar, he does his thing best in the playoffs, so against a young Cavaliers team, I would never hesitate to bet the Hawks here.

About the Clips vs Pelicans game, I guess I'm betting on the road team, no PG should be a problem for the Clippers.

Clips game is so tough to judge.  With pg put it might be a fast paced high scoring game.  But who will the clips go to in crunch time.  Think ima lean on the Pelicans with cj and ingram getting it done.  Gonna be a game time decision for me.  Good luck everyone.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 15, 2022, 05:00:37 PM
I managed to hit all 3 of my bets yesterday. Cavs with the spread. Nets to win outright. Then a multi-bet with the Nets and Wolves winning. I’m not sure who I’ll take today. Maybe the Hornets with the spread and the Pelicans to win outright. I feel pretty good about the Pelicans being able to beat the Spurs, but the Hornets game could really go either way in my opinion. I feel like the Hornets have a pretty good chance to cover the spread though as long as their young guys don’t choke under pressure. I don’t think they will.
Cheers to you then. I didn't win anything at all at those games. Got to get it back now.
I believe the Spurs could win this against the Pelicans. They are struggling and it was the McCollum trade that made it possible for them to enter the play-in. Spurs on the other hand had won 3 of their 4 meeting against this team. Ingram's status is out but noted as probable.
Spurs +5.5

On the other side, I am betting for the Atlanta Hawks -5.5. Good luck to all.

Atlanta Hawks was a cool bet for us, as if we have seen that they can cover the spread and that's what they did and have some for spare.

That was too easy for the Hawks, they dominated the whole game and if you bet on them, you won't feel the thrill while watching because you already know your bet will win, that's what you called "easy money". Anyway, they'll be up next against the Cavaliers, I think they'll still dominate seeing how the Nets dominated the Cavaliers too.

At least when we see the game, we know that the chance of our bet to win is huge.  Grin

So I might stick with them on the road, again Trae Young doesn't flap and will show Garland who is the top point guard here. Young knows the gravity of this kind of game and seems to be raising up every stake with his performance. So I will stick with the Hawks, -2.5.
Trae..

I'm with you on this one.  2 reasons:  Trae in these games knows how to get it done and flourishes and then capella.  Nobody on cavs can body him down low.  Expecting 15-20 rebounds from Clint.  Heart says cavs brain says Hawks on this one.

I would probably play in a USFL fantasy league, because I'm obsessed with fantasy, but I'm not sure it would be any fun tbh.  There's a reason these leagues continue to fail over and over.  Though I am hopeful that The Rock and his partners on this might have a shot at making a sort of "miner leagues" for the NFL, finally.

In other news...

"When you have a chance to really delve into the kind of future that you have in the digital world, I wanted the Dallas Cowboys to be a part of that future in any and every way we could," Jones said.

"Over the course of our long-term partnership, our goal is to partner with the Dallas Cowboys on helping the world to understand cryptocurrency," co-owner and CEO Peter Smith said.

Is there anyone that came from the nfl or college that we would even know?  Seems like we'd see the Johnny manziel's of the league in this one.  Maybe Tebow goes out for a team 😀

Yeah I'm a fantasy degen too but I would literally have no clue who to draft or play in this one lol.

Are you guys planning on watching the USFL season opener this weekend? New Jersey Generals @ Birmingham Stallions (7:30 pm, ET, April 16).

Obviously not the real thing but still, some of us need their football fix. It's eight teams and a 10-week regular season, some cool stuff like body cams, drone cams, there will be also chip in the balls to measure first downs (no chains).

I can't see myself watching this.  You need to be insanely hard-core to watch this.  Maybe the opener out of curiosity but after that not interested.  It's like watching minor league baseball on TV between the San Antonio sandpipers vs the Tallahassee tornados.  Just not anything to watch unless you have personal interest like knowing someone who is playing in the game.

Don't look up those baseball teams they don't exist lol.
2935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 13, 2022, 05:15:50 PM
I was expecting tha the Clippers will win the game after seeing them having a comfortable lead when KAT was fouled out. But, the young roster of the Timberwolves did not gave up, Edwards was so big in this game as he leads the team for this victory.

Congratulations to the Timberwolves, they are now officially in the playoffs.
Can they beat the red hot Memphis?
I also predicted on the Clippers on winning on this one but I was wrong. Well, the Clippers still has another chance to maintain the 8th seed if they will win against the winner of the 9th-10th match-up.

Now with regards to TWolves beating Memphis, they simply can't. Just look at how the Grizzlies played this season. From being 9th only last season to now the top 2. That is a huge jump of the standings and with their young and talented roster, I believe that they can be a playoff team for at least 3 years. There is no chance for the Timberwolves to beat the Grizzlies. I'll go with Memphis in 5 games here.

Wow, that is a bold prediction.

Well, we all know that Memphis has had a great season so far, they even win many games without Morant, but we cannot underestimate the Timberwolves, they are also a balanced team and they are hungry for a win. They are now back in the playoffs after missing many playoffs, so I believe that they'll give the Memphis a good fight.

Honestly I don't think it was bold by any means.  Minnesota was home and they were favored by a couple points in the game.  As far as next series this is going to be a great series.  Think Memphis pushes them but I can see this one going 6 or 7.
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 13, 2022, 04:58:12 AM
John Wall before all the injuries about 6-7 years ago, absolutely, but agreed at this point he’s much older and worn down and always hurt. He did however drop a near career high in averaged point in 2020-2021 with 20.6pts, that’s pretty solid. But, no telling if you’ll get that out of him again.

John Wall is expected to play at 100% health next season. The Houston Rockets decide to sit him as literally, they are tanking this season and give this season to see what Jalen Green can do. The test Rockets did this season is how to manage J. Green efficiently if he will now share the court with John Wall as they have almost the same role on the court.

That's why I exclude John Wall from any future trade-related discussions with the Los Angeles Lakers.

No one knows though what will happen.

What is everyone's fetish with John wall?  When he was young he was unguardable.  He hasn't played more than 41 ges in a full year since 2016...6 years ago was the last time he played more than half the games.  Sorry but I wouldn't take him for a hair over vet minimum.  What makes people think after 6 years he is gonna play a full season at full health.  Wall is the equivalent of drose.  He needs to be seen as a backup point guard on the squad.  If you expect him to run the team it's gonna end badly.  Hate to say that cause dude got game, but those injuries are too much to overcome in a high impact sport like BB.
2937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 13, 2022, 04:53:40 AM
Seems like everyone is on the Clippers tonight from what I'm hearing.  Wolves -3 and at home.  I think I'm gonna take the t Wolves think they got enough in one game to fend off the clips.  Was leaning clips earlier in the week but too any people betting against the wolves.

Never fails.  When everyone is completely leaning one way you should always take the other.  Odds are it hits.  Read so much about the Clippers this week and literally nothing about the twolves.  KAT basically was worthless and they stilled pulled out the win.  Not a 7th seed someone wants to face right now.

Best first series calling it: Grizzlies and Wolves.  Both young both hungry...can't wait to watch this one.

The Jaguars hype and marketing team is the best in the NFL hehehe. However, I agree that Travis Etienne has a chance to perform and help his team get a better result this year compared to 2021. It will not be that difficult hehe considering their 2021 standing. Ettiene was my prediction for rookie of the year during the draft.

Jaguars could get a huge boost from 2021 class alone

Etienne should be the biggest help for next year’s team since he was the second-highest draft pick. He and running back James Robinson will make a formidable one-two punch. Etienne is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield. However, he still needs to improve in pass protection.

Source https://sports.yahoo.com/jaguars-could-huge-boost-2021-005808968.html

Also, this news about corruption with the Washington Commanders. If proven guilty, what would happen to the owners? Will they be forced to leave their franchise?

Congress accuses Commanders of stealing season ticket deposits, hiding revenue from NFL in letter to FTC

n a letter to the Federal Trade Commission, which was obtained by the Washington Post, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform accused Commanders executives and team owner Daniel Snyder of hiding revenue from the NFL for over a decade by withholding security deposits that should have been refunded to season ticket-holders.

Honestly yeah Etienne shoukd be a huge boost this year.  Since he was out all of last year it's almost like a bonus first round pick.  If I were the jags knowing you have your young "hopefully" franchise quarterback and young rb I'd take a tackle with the first pick.  Either Neal or icky would be a solid choice.  Jags are honestly set up real nice.  They splashed during FA, have young talent and a host of high draft picks.  Trendy pick as the Longshot to win their division.  Long shot but still.

Casascius coins have been dropping in value dramatically since I got in. I remember being offered an error coin for 1.7BTC in 2018 (I think BTC was $4k at the time), just seen that one sold recently on this forum for 1.039BTC. Obviously a massive drop when priced in BTC but also a small drop when priced in fiat. I was hoping that they would of mooned by now, but maybe they need more time? 14 BTC for an ounce is just nuts  Grin

One day the last of the remaining loaded Cas coins will be auctioned off at world renowned auction houses and will fetch well over load value...well over.  Crypto has only picked up steam and these are pretty much the first representations of bitcoin and will be a must have for billionaires to show off to their buddies.

At least that's how I see it but who knows.
