Hey, I can do TA as well! Grin

Yeees Smiley This is very very optimistic but perhaps haven't got to do a lot with nearest future.

Maybe one day.
And maybe I am wrong.

Cheers!

nxt is driven almost entirely by fundamentals and not technicals imo. no one is really "playing" this market except whales and they are looking to sell not buy. the perspective buyers either understand the tech or they dont, and if they do than they buy w/e the price, if they don't than they don't w/e the price.

source burn hands down. not only did it taste amazing. like it wasn't a placebo joke like monster or redbull or full throttle, you could actually feel the effects, it was PACKED with absurd amounts of stimulants. it got bought out by coca cola though and became this

i haven't seen it around or tried it since then though so idk what they changed if anything. probably isnt the same drink at all anymore.
2924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: April 08, 2014, 03:54:41 PM
yes i definitely see the value proposition. we really could fill a niche and become something big by convincing game developers to build nxt into their in game economies. it even offers them a really sweet model for monetization. let nxt come in for free but take a cut on the way out.

Just saw this and just want to say:

SOON

 Wink

There is some more info on the pub thread on nxtforum.org (look for swartzfeger's posts).

awesome. now all we need is for the game to be good Cheesy

Announcing escrow for stage 2 of EXOCoin. This time the rules and procedures will be somewhat different so read carefully.

In order to make changes to the status of your order such as refunding the bitcoins or releasing to EXO_Coin you must be in PERSONAL possession of at least one of the private keys that you sent from. This is because I will require digital signatures in order to make a change to the status of your order. Sending from a satoshi client will work or from blockchain.info ewallet if you prefer to use an online wallet, do not send direly from an exchange.

The fee will be just the same as last time. 0.01BTC or 0.9% which ever is greater.

If you have read these terms carefully and agree to them than feel free to send to this address any time. Thank-you and good luck!

141BGaP5MthfqGpMT6RNquRmewKXs4iFWJ

Thank-you and good luck!

Sorry for probably stupid question, never used this digital signature stuff. If I will send you bitcoins now, from my personal qt-client (wallet.dat is under my full control), should I somehow "sign" the transaction right now, or I am supposed to do it later? Want to be sure, that I will not miss important step before sending bitcoins. Thanks!

later when you need to change something about your account. so for example if you want me to release the btc to exo_coin then you would sign a message like "release btc to btc address bla". if you want to just play with digital signatures a bit than go to your addresses tab and look for sign an verify options and just play around with it a bit. its pretty intuitive

not like before with 200k u forge 1 nxt a month, LOL. a friend told me now u make a decent amount of nxt so nodes amount is suddenly going to the moon with more and more nodes every single day cuz ppl wanna chime in

is this true? if yes what changed plz? thx

im going to keep my nxt client running now whenever i can Smiley

i noticed a change. not in my income but in that i am no longer forging as many blocks per day as i used to. i used to get 3 or 4 per day on average now its 1 per day if im lucky.

how does candy crush make profit? the phone companies pay them right?

Well, i guess there lies the problem. No, if anything then Candy Crush has to pay the app store Wink

They make their money with playing ads in the apps. Also with ingame purchases to unlock certain things!

With your idea, they wouldn't earn the ingame purchases + lose money from the giveaway.

Not very self-sustaining.

ok but can you still not apply the idea even if that is how they make money? the "extras" in game must be purchased with usd/phone credit.. the adds still play in the app... nothing is different... other then not being able to get the extras with in game points... perhaps the in game extras can only be purchased with nxt! :L would that fix that issue? lol

The problem is, I don't see the advantage in giving away NXT for free in a random app. This is very very poor marketing, but maybe that is only my impression Wink

Some guys had a great idea of creating a real game called NXTopia that uses NXT as a ingame currency, where the auction house is using NXT as "gold"

the advantage is if the app is sucessful then you gain possibly millions of new users who want to cash out their "in game points" for usd.. but in the middle they find out what nxt is.. and perhaps keep their nxt.. the whole idea isnt to make more fiat money or more nxt.. it is to further adoption and bring in new users.. thus increasing the value of the nxt everyone already holds...

yes i definitely see the value proposition. we really could fill a niche and become something big by convincing game developers to build nxt into their in game economies. it even offers them a really sweet model for monetization. let nxt come in for free but take a cut on the way out.

yes thats the spirit! Smiley if you were a games developer would you rather make 50k profit.. or give away 20k to make and extra 30k? cos thats essentially what it will come down to.. if they are not happy with the extra return or if they are loosing money simply adjust the value at which they buy back the points..

if you do searches you will find allot of articles about "addictive game sucks value from consumer and gives nothing back in return except square eyes" type of stuff

let NXT give the consumer the value they so desire! while also attracting massive amounts of new users to the nxt ecosystem!

and games developers like king.com may perhaps begin to accept nxt as a form of payment as they could then use it to pay consumers for their points! they would just have to buy it otherwise!

maybe we are thinking of 2 different things. i was talking about using nxt in the game economy as the in game currency. so like you get tiny fractions of nxt when you kill monsters or if you want to buy an item from another player you pay them with nxt in the game. it would all be handled off blockchain on the local game servers unless someone wanted to add nxt to their game account from an outside source or export nxt out of their game account into an outside wallet.

Every new release to the mainnet will be very important from now on.

I vote for calling a clear release date/deadline so we can use; nxtcountdown.com

We can invite/inspire more new users with this method. But also educate them with a little text/video or redirect them to other NXT websites to keep nxtcountdown.com clean.

15 May for Asset Exchange for example.

yes please!

2932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | IPO | 100% Proof-of-Stake | New Source | Beta Available on: April 05, 2014, 06:40:10 PM
Now offering escrow for Qora

In order to use my escrow service for this coin you must be in personal possession of the private key to one of the inputs to your transaction. This is because I will require digital signatures to make a change to the status of your order. One option is to use the BitcoinQT client locally or if you prefer a web wallet blockchain.info is one that I know of that allows you to make digital signatures. DO NOT SEND DIRECTLY FROM AN EXCHANGE if you do than you WILL lose your coins.

Digital signatures sound complex but its actually really simple as long as you are in personal possession of the private key. You don't have to worry about figuring it all out right now, you can worry about it when it comes time to release or refund the btc and ill be here to walk you through every step if you need help.

Additionally there will be a fee of 0.02BTC or 0.9% which ever is greater.

You will be free to release the funds or receive a refund at any time at any time for any reason.

Qora has asked me to clarify this point: You will have an opportunity to evaluate the software before choosing to release the BTC to him but you must release the btc before you can receive the Qora currency. I don't think this entails a great deal of risk since it doesn't make any rational sense for him to develop a legitimate crypto but then horde its units. They only have value if they are shared.

If you agree to these terms than feel free to send to this address at any time. Thankyou and good luck!

Looking to hire an experienced web application developer to build something akin to bitmit ontop of the NXT blockchain. Even if this is not a skill you have, if you happen to know someone who does, or know someone who might know someone who does ect.., please send them my way.
