Thanks for all reports here... And I'm glad you're here. I got the earlier beta client running, which got the GUI up automatically, and then got the upgrade. But now, with my wallet upgraded, the GUI does not engage and all I get in the command line is "Failed to read wallet file or you do not have any addresses so far." In an infinite loop. Because of that infinite loop, the GUI doesn't even fire up. I'm clicking the coin.exe, just as I did before the upgrade. Just to reiterate, the old version booted up fine but the new version gets stuck in an infinite line-spewing loop before the GUI can start. The line is, "Failed to read wallet file or you do not have any addresses so far." Please, look into it. I'm running the client on Win7 Ultimate, 64-bit version. Thanks for reporting. Going to implement a bit more debug output for the launch part so that we can see where the problem is in more detail. Also going to check if I see some issue that would cause that as well now. Please wait for V0.5 to check again if this problem persists I have the same problem of infinite loop with "Failed to read wallet file or you do not have any addresses so far."

regarding the " green mining", if my computer is not powerful enough, and does not finish the work in 10 min, will I get proportional of the coins? The other case, if I have 2 powerful enough graphic cards, each one can finish work within 10 mins. If I split them into two rigs, I will get double mining rewards, right? I just need to pay more electricity. Thanks Case 1) Yes that is true you would not get anything then. We would like to design it so that even older hardware get a result in 10 minutes on average. Case 2) That is not true. If you use them together you will get a result in say 2 minutes. If you use them separatly you will get 2 results each in 4 minutes. Both ways you would get the same amount of EXO (again, on average). @Launch problems: Improved the launch debug output of the application and change one minor boot thing. Going to check it, however, on a win7 x64 professional tomorrow and on an enterprise win7 x86. I will have access to an enterprise win7 x64 next week.

Thank you for your reply, but this does not make sense to me. Do you mean the EXO earned by 1 result(found by two GPU in 2 minutes) = EXO earned by 2* 1 result (each result is found by 1 GPU in 4 minutes) Although they are all results, but the result on the right hand side is rewarded only half of the result in left hand side? How can they get rewarded the same? Does this mean the EXO network will evaluate my hashing power? I read through the writepaper, too little detail about this part.

That is because the testnetwork is down. According to exo it will stay down for a week, then there will be a second beta.

ok a little break for me answering PMs ;-)
here are the latest stats:
accepted (accepted does not necessarily include that they got already transferred): 39 BTC denied completly: 4 people reduced since fairly new or inactive (or only rubbish posts) account (e.g. 1.5 BTC cap decreased to 0.5/0.3/0.1/0.05): 17 people not yet processed: ~20-30 PMs
Thanks to every investor for putting trust into our product!
Thank you for answering in this thread. I was just a bit wondering why I haven't received an answer. So I'll be patient

what are the sorts of reasons why you deny people exo? (if anyone else knows you can answer also)

Probably to avoid fake accounts, and be sure that 1.5 will be maximum investment amount?

just copy from eXo_coin said yesterday : updated: updated timeline, added final whitepaper (no changes to V1.3, just a last version with a better looking design) http://exocoin.org/index.php updated: Changed description of instructions for 2nd stage http://exocoin.org/index.php?s=investmentsnew: please read sign instructions/ after transfer instructions http://exocoin.org/index.php?s=signThat should help to make the process more clear and to have a standardizated PM from all of you (faster processing, less error prone). So please read the new sign url even if you know how to sign a message in general. Thank you. your eXocoin team When i copy them , i find the url lose , so I have to link them manually.

How long will the beta test last? It seems the present version is buggy.
