2921  Other / Meta / Re: Lending Forum Posting restriction implementation on: December 03, 2014, 01:46:34 AM
Speaking about PM's, here's a small sample of what I've been getting:

hello john..im from malaysia..can i borrow from u just 0.01 BTC..please...i will pay back to you in 5 days Sad..please john..im promise i will sent back to you

please~ im not like that..please just..when im done double my btc..i will give back to you..just 0.01 btc huhu..

That was sent to me when that account had 0 post and everything. I guess they're getting more and more desperate now...

The Malaysian prince? This is something new. But yeah, as badbear says the would post it somewhere else, causing off topic spam in those sections or pm, but good idea though!
2922  Other / Meta / Re: Demand for Unbanned!!! on: December 03, 2014, 01:43:32 AM
You make tons of fake accounts and give fake reviews about your site. Once you get unbanned I would advise you to stop. Using fake accounts is fine as long as you don't promote a scam (your site is legit and pays so it's fine) but you went overboard. 6 pages of fake reviews. That's just annoying. Wait out your ban, mods are reasonable, once I was misunderstood but they fixed it quick after an explanation. However, since you are not permabanned, it's only 7 days, and you obviously are doing something shady, just wait it out and be a contributing member after your ban.
2923  Economy / Reputation / Re: Public Apology on: December 03, 2014, 01:38:38 AM
If you wanted this to work, you should have posted an apology first instead of attacking badbear. Once I was misunderstood, but I contacted mods and they sorted it out particularly quickly after I gave an explanation. Attacking mods is a great way to not get your negative removed, they are fairly reasonable and will fix stuff if given a good reason/apology. However, saying to anybody that they are doing their job wrong is a sure fire way to piss them off. You should have apologized first instead of dening it, that doesn't work. Just my 2 satoshis about this situation.
2924  Other / New forum software / Re: Ranks (similar to donator) on: December 03, 2014, 01:30:58 AM
I think, if they mak new ranks, there should be one rank where it you buy it you can customize the coins by the side of your name. Like maybe change them to happy faces or something? And another guy stated pixels around username, that would be neat too.

Up!
2926  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Scammers tracking website - asking for ideas on: December 01, 2014, 11:59:54 PM
Hmmm. This would be neat, but easily abused. Who can edit it? Scammers could easily put false accusations against someone else. The trust system at bitcointalk is enough in my opinion.
2927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever wondered if "leet" appears as your post count when it gets to 1337? [Done] on: November 30, 2014, 09:30:28 PM
Does it actually say Boob?

This forum isn't run by a bunch of immature boys... of course it won't say boob.

BUT, wait until you hit 80085 posts!!!!

And then, after that you can wait ubtil you hit 8008135 posts!

2929  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just found a new cool way to lose all your money... on: November 30, 2014, 09:26:21 PM
I can vouch for OP! After recieving the method, op gave me a smooth and hassle free way to lose. It was very easy and I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks Watoshi!
2930  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod Identity Found...If he has hurt you, join in. Do a service to all. on: November 30, 2014, 07:53:05 PM
Making threats online is a crime, one way or another. Before this threat post, has the op actually tried to negotiate with vod to get negative removed?

I don't think the threats are specific enough. KOS just says things like "you will be sorry" or "you will regret it" but never actually says that he will do physical harm.

KoS didn't even have any trust left for him by Vod.

he absolutely does imply physical harm:

Quote
that something bad will happen to you. Want to try me? I'm not going to prove to you that I know the name of the hotel because I'm going to let you think I don't know it. Two people you've left trust for me messaged me. I gave them that info. One of them actually lives in Mexico as well as the moneypak supplier you pissed off. See I'll be honest, when it comes to revenge and vindictiveness, I can't be beat. I'll easy pay someone double what I'm scammed for them to end up in the hospital by someone nearby them. Does that make sense? No, but I love revenge.

I will enjoy hearing the pain you endure on your trip, if you even make it back .

if I was Vod I would have already filed a criminal report.

I agree. Vod is taking this calmly which is good.

Pretty decent name, hmm. Nobody really pays for names, mind listing what they might be? I am not interested, just curious to how good the names might be.

He Can't list them. Otherwise people will know which accounts he is selling.
2934  Economy / Services / Re: Code design for Coin Sweeper Bitcointalk signature campaign - 0.1BTC on: November 30, 2014, 03:41:19 PM
A big thank you to everyone who participated in the design code for the signature campaign for Coin-Sweeper! We have sat down and looked at all the designs and are very impressed.

We have decided to go for medUSA's design below, which we think is absolutely brilliant. We will just need to check that the signatures fit for all the different profiles and then we will send the 0.1BTC straight away!

We will announce details of the Coin-Sweeper signature campaign later this coming week Smiley And in the not too distant future we will run another campaign for our other site www.bitwheel.io

Thanks again to everyone who participated, the talent here was very impressive Smiley

Here are my designs for Coin Sweeper

There is no better way to present the bomb sweeping game than the grid of bombs and coins itself. Hope you like them.

Congratulations medUSA! Damn that grid looks good!

The trailer sucked, but the lightsaber looks badass, what's bad about it?
