2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Walk-In Foreign Exchange Places Offer BTC on: November 22, 2021, 11:16:24 PM
As of now there isn't any exchange/business providing cryptocurrency exchange services through physical stores. Maybe this could change with time. Recently more number of cryptocurrency exchange applications have got launched within the country. These were providing service at certain commission. Earlier through localbitcoins there is meet and transact service which has been stopped by localbitcoins for some security reasons.

We may see physical crypto exchange in El Salvador very soon once the First Bitcoin City materializes. Because right now, we are all doing online transactions when it comes to conversion of our crypto to fiat. But sooner or later, we will see this to be a reality just like any other foreign currency exchange shops. Right now, if a shop is offering to convert your crypto to their local fiat, we may see that they may be charging good amount of fees but it may change soon.
Yes, this could happen following the increasing adoption. As said El Salvador is taking a big step that could benefit it's people. In every country this can be made possible through the banking system. Because, it is place where the common man go for all his financial needs. Exchanges when tied up to banks it'll easily gain the trust of the people. With cryptocurrency related services trust plays a big role.
2942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: November 22, 2021, 10:39:06 PM
El Salvador showed a lot of things we didn't expect to be the most loyal country in Bitcoin. And they deserve to spark a Bitcoin city where Bitcoin's presence is welcomed in this country. Whereas previously Bitcoin was an enemy that the government of a country had to fight. But El Salvador opened our eyes, that Bitcoin can live among us without needing to attack each other. Because the merger of the government with Bitcoin actually became the beginning of a pilot country to open the world's eyes wide to the existence of Bitcoin.
The el Salvador president have seen the future and what the economy stand to gain from this initiative to adopt cryptocurrency as a full legal currency, establishing this Bitcoin city will serve as a business hob for cryptocurrency activities which will be first in the world.
Already the country have benefited good from the cryptocurrency investment. From the profit it has been planned for construction of schools and hospitals which is really a good plan to spend on right things. Now they're widening the cryptocurrency adoption to the universal market attracting more businesses to make use of the country.

Formally within the next bull market El Salvador will make itself a big economy out of cryptocurrency investment. The same country serving as the hub for cryptocurrency activities will make more competence to it from the grown countries.
2943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When TRON (TRX) will be pump on: November 22, 2021, 04:43:38 PM
I invest in tron as I see a mass adoption of its blockchain by different companies. For example, it had partnership with Sony that was aimed to develop games on tron. Also Tron chain is widely used for transfering money because of low commissions. I don't know why Tron is still so low, but I believe that it will pump in the future as it is one of the most popular blockchain.
I think that investing in Tron is the right step because for me Tron is one of the potential projects,
and maybe we need to be patient to see the price of Tron increase and for now there doesn't seem to be any sign that the price will pump up
Tron is one among the potential cryptocurrency for long term investment. It have been partnering with more corporate networks, but there is no big movement in the market. Even during the strong bull trend there is no big growth. This has caused big holders move tron to other cryptocurrencies. It is good to invest as the price is low, but one should not expect immediate or return within specific time period.
2944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting superstitions. on: November 22, 2021, 02:41:19 PM
Superstitious beliefs exist everywhere, so the same will be followed in gambling. I never follow superstitions, but I used to pray while gambling. This seems to be common with most of the gamblers.

Sometimes the superstitious beliefs can be enjoyed. Whenever there is a popular tournament around, there are like Black magician used to predict the outcome. They used to say team wearing so and so colour wins the tournament and so on. Sometimes there used to be some coincidence, and the same will be used as a way to make themselves popular.
2945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 22, 2021, 12:09:31 PM
My friend had bet big on Zverev. He watched every match of his and how consistently he was improving. There was no way I would have bet against Medvedev. Props to him for his amazing read.
It isn't that easy to read a player to this extend. Myself placed bet over Medvedev. In the previous match between Djokovic and Zverev, my bet was on Zverev. On the final match my bet was on Medvedev. In this entire tournament the performance from Medvedev and Zverev is really awesome and some are unexpected. Probably these two gonna rule the upcoming tennis tournaments.
2946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: November 22, 2021, 11:45:32 AM
$85K seems like a likely goal. $100k is too optimistic for the end of the year.
At the rate at which Bitcoin is growing in speed and popularity, Bitcoin must be 100 by the end of this year Will pass. Many experts say that Bitcoin will be recognized as the number one popular currency in the world in the next 10 years.

Yeah, I know that everyone is expecting a huge $100k at the end of the year.

But at the rate that bitcoin is growing this past, maybe there will be people that are going to doubt if we can really hit 6 digits or not. Currently there is a huge barrier to $60k, and the closer we did was $59,200 and then the price goes down again.

Sitting at $57k, it will be like x2 growth in more than a month before the end of the year. Not sure if this is still achievable.
Based on the potential of bitcoin it is achievable, but within limited time period it is question mark. $100k is going to be a big barrier, before that it is supposed to make several new ATH gaining good resistance. Based on the ongoing market growth the price seems to fall as low as $50k. Another thing last month of the year is much preferred for leisure and spending. So, more cashing out happens than buying. This way market is completely unpredictable for now.
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I understand about bitcoin on: November 22, 2021, 12:43:37 AM
Whether it is bitcoin or the technology behind it, everything is is a learning. When we continue learning we'll get to know more about it. It is better to learn about bitcoin than trying to earn, which is good for a beginner for specific time period.

Another thing that always reach my mind is the popularity and the growth. If bitcoin have circulated within $10 will it have gained this importance or will people have shown interest learning it. So, in everything there is money and that's the reason people tend to learn and not just because of its innovative model.
2948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: November 21, 2021, 11:59:39 PM
I think we could say we are back on the road to recovery after a scare which saw bitcoin drop from as high as $68k to around $56k.

Just looked at some charts a while ago which is showing are are slowly getting back up, currently at $58k and as long as $60k does not show any resistance

this bird will fly high! Bull market, we are back  Grin

This doesn't look like we're back on the track. It looks like we're experiencing the market correction. If this has turned bullish the resistance barrier might've got broken. If it breaks the $60000 mark then it'll gain momentum to break $63k and continue to be bullish making ath values. If there is continued rejection then probably we'll see $53k at the shortest.
2949  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 21, 2021, 05:26:54 PM
A trainer as great as Eddie Reynoso and a boxer as great as Canelo knows the extend of what they can do and they know how to do it, they both know that they can beat Makabu they already scout him, they don't just pick a guy to fight, they know they have a very good chance beating him, Makabu is good and a hard puncher but he can only beat Canelo if he can catch him clean with a solid punch, but the big question can he do that against Canelo, Makabu posted that he will knock out Canelo, he can do that if he can connect, but he must first find a way to make it happen, with Canelo that's easier said than done.

Absolutely true, for sure the camp of Canelo had already assessed Ilangu Makabu before they accept the offer of before they finalizes their decision. Canelo is a great fighter in his recent division and I believe that even he might go up in step ahead from his division he will perform the same skills inside the ring however, of course we also knew that the quality and kind of fighters line up in the higher division was also a great fighter, so I think it would be a fight that Canelo will be challenge.

I believe in Canelo, there's nothing I would doubt on him but he is not in his division, he will be facing a heavy fighter with a great KO power. Of course, the majority of the fans would go for Canelo as he is the popular boxer, but we don't know what Ilunga Makabu can do against Canelo which is smaller than him.
Canelo is a popular face, if he has been playing within his weight category then this could've been a pre decided match winning for Canelo. Here Canelo is facing the fighter of next level which makes people think of the opponent. The match has added more expectation than other matches because two fighters of different weight category are involved.
2950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 21, 2021, 01:54:08 PM
In the third T20 India won the toss and decide to ball first. Both side have some changes, India has two changes, while New Zealand has one changes. India lead the series 2-0 as of now and they are top picks to win this series by 3-0. I've put a bet on India winning, what I see a straightforward success.
India have won the series winning the first two matches. Though it is a pressure free match for India, there will be more energy from India to wash off New Zealand. However New Zealand will try to make at least a win. India won the toss and decided to bat first. I've placed my bet on New Zealand @3.5 and I believe it is the day of New Zealand.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 21, 2021, 04:12:53 AM
And just like that, Djokovic lost to Zverev in three sets. Zverev won the first set, then Djokovic comes back in the second and just needed a break to win. However, Zverev can't be denied. Djokovic committed some uncanny unforced error in the third. Try to bet on Djokovic when he lost the first set at 2.xx something, tough luck.

So it will be Medvedev vs Zverev now in the finals.
I got lucky to place a bet over Zverev @2.90, but the bet amount was very low. The match could turn anyway, thinking that in mind I cashed out when the third set was on the go. However it was a winning day for me. The final seems to be more energetic game, because the odds seems to be close. I've decided to go for Medvedev.
2952  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 20, 2021, 09:39:22 PM

Honestly, to any boxer, moving up on weight class is more efficient compare to going down. It's hard to reach much lower weight requirements and that results in a dehydrated body. Canelo has a good decision to step up since no room for any achievements now on his current stage as he already claimed the title "undisputed" champion.

But don't be deceived by Ilunga Makabu from being a not-known or unpopular boxer to others here. I'm sure he will give a Canelo a difficult match.
This match is going to be a tuff one for Canelo, because he's moving from a low weight category to the next level. Makabu is already on the same weight category. This gives Makabu an added advantage on the match. Being an undisputed one will try to keep the winning momentum continue. Let's wait for the day.
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 20, 2021, 07:47:58 PM
Just watched the Medvedev v Ruud semi-final, it is over in 2 sets, 6-4 and 6-2 to Medvedev.

He said in the post match interview that it was a tricky match but he really didnt look under
pressure, based on this performance I would say he would beat either Djokovic or Zverev judging
on the shots he played today.

He has the advantage of only playing 2 sets on just over an hour early today.
The Djokovic v Zverev match has the potential to go the distance
Medvedev is just 25 years old and he has got years to play. After few senior players getting retired out of tennis these are the names we can hear often on tournament winnings.

Djokovic vs Zverev match will be quite interesting. Among 10 head to head matches Djokovic have won 7 matches and Zverev have won 3 matches. Interestingly five matches have ended in direct sets. Djokovic have won three matches on direct sets and Zverev have won 2 matches. In the upcoming match it seems to be good to go with live betting, because the odds seems to fluctuate often.
2954  Economy / Economics / Re: Introducing a state-issued cryptocurrency on: November 20, 2021, 06:09:01 PM
Years back the government made a ban on cryptocurrency and banks stopped supporting transactions associated with cryptocurrencies. By that time too, there's discussion on developing a state owned cryptocurrency. Even there were rumours that the state owned cryptocurrency is named as Lakshmi coin. I'm not sure, to what extent this is true.

Now once again the same discussion have come, but this time the government have announced cryptocurrency can be used as a commodity and not as a legal tender few months back. If the state owned cryptocurrency is developed, then it'll serve as the digital version of fiat. There'll be regular news, but the country won't develop its own coin. Because they knew well, people won't get interested using it.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 20, 2021, 11:31:10 AM
May be if the tournament was conducted in India, i doubt we would see the same results and with they way they are defeating New Zealand with ease, it looks odds because they are the same team with a exclusion of a few players who beat India in the World Cup and now they are finding it difficult to be competitive even though the first match New Zealand delayed their defeat, the fate of the tournament was sealed.

New Zealand is a country of 4 million and right now they are competitive in cricket only because they are able to attract talent from other countries. It's not just South Africans like Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips. Mark Chapman was born in Hong Kong (he's part Chinese) and players like Ish Sodhi and Ajaz Khan are from the sub-continent. And unlike the case with India, when some of their key players like Kyle Jamieson or Lockie Ferguson get injured, they face issues in finding the suitable replacement (as a result of the limited player pool).
Limited number of players might be a reason, but the ground is a big reason in my view. During the month of November the climate condition in Dubai will be so cool and that might ease the New Zealand players get adopted to it with ease and play better. When they play at the Indian ground it'll be little difficult for them to get adopted to the varying climate condition.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hillary Clinton: Nation states should pay attention to the rise of crypto on: November 19, 2021, 04:08:37 PM
Bitcoin is considered as a store of value. Countries that are facing hard inflation have begun to consider bitcoin/crypto as the way to revitalize the economy. The recent inflated one being the Turkish lira. MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor have mentioned in his tweet "Bitcoin is hope for Turkey" because it has lost third of its value since March. He mentioned TRY to USD will slow down the collapse whereas adoption of bitcoin will revitalize the economy from the damage. During the time period lira have inflated 50% and the USD prices are up about 6%

These kind of act will boost the USD, when the adoption of cryptocurrency happens it'll damage the USD. This seems to be the major reason why Hilary Clinton have revealed such a statement. Apart from this there were more countries in the queue for cryptocurrency adoption which at present depend much on USD.
2957  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and non-formal workers on: November 19, 2021, 03:00:24 AM
In my country people haven't heard about it two years back. Now people in any business has got basic understanding as bitcoin is much advertised. People to whom I introduced about cryptocurrencies, but haven't made an investment are now feeling bad about their decision. It is true that 90% of the people into the crypto industry are informal workers. In my country one out of hundred seems to be the people into cryptocurrency, with the city people it could differ as 50 out of 100 into cryptocurrency.
2958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Recent Drop Below $60K Is Not Worrisome, Analyst Says on: November 18, 2021, 07:10:42 PM
The buying force keeps faltering which shows that the selling pressure has been increasing with time. When the selling pressure increases, it reflects on the price of bitcoin. By the time investors sell their assets to secure profit, and if that isn't possible atleast they'll try to limit the losses. This leads to the formation of temporary bearish trend.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First decentralized Gambling Platform? on: November 18, 2021, 05:54:39 PM
This will be same as the gambling sites we've got for usage. Right now the centralized platforms have the support team to solve issues. With decentralized gambling platform the support issues will be integrated with the blockchain. Apart from that the verification of the fair play functioning will happen same as that we have with the centralized platforms. Allowing third parties to develop applications over the platform is good. I find the fee as the positive thing with this innovative plan of open sourced gambling platform.
2960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 18, 2021, 05:09:15 AM
Shiba is in its hype period. Now it has been getting slowed down. Anything could happen in the cryptocurrency network, what we saw with the Shiba Inu is the example. The price grew to the top in no time, and dropped down. In no time the market supporters turned to be a big community. As the community got widened the support for Shiba from firms started to increase.

At some point Shiba Inu traded more in volume against bitcoin. These are all temporary, all the way if some other coin makes similar market the community concentrates over there.
