I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins

Do you have bitcoin yet?  If not that's what you need and immediately.  Everyone's portfolio should start their and then grow from that.  If all you deal with is alts then eventually you will hit a scam project and your capital will get wiped.  It's inevitable.
2942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 12, 2022, 11:56:39 PM
Seems like everyone is on the Clippers tonight from what I'm hearing.  Wolves -3 and at home.  I think I'm gonna take the t Wolves think they got enough in one game to fend off the clips.  Was leaning clips earlier in the week but too any people betting against the wolves.
2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 12, 2022, 11:53:43 PM
The sad part is he was not informed early until it was leaked to ESPN. Ouch! Surprises. Lakers management does love that.  Grin
Now the roster, we might be surprised too in the next days to come or before the season starts again. I bet they are going to overhaul that roster again and seek players that are younger. Who knows, they might be done with making a veteran lineup again.
Where would Howard go that will make him more productive and be back with 20+ minutes per game? I wish a team signs him up. It's too cheap for just $2.6M for an agile 37 years old.
He will be a great asset for this era being dominated by 3 giant players.

Well! that's just how it is if the management doesn't like the result of your hard work and you failed to give them the championship they wanted to further expand their profits from the Lakers merchandise and other stuff. The question is, who will gonna replace Frank after this season? I'm sure it will be a huge challenge for whoever it will be because they will gonna overhaul the entire roosters and they gonna trade Westbrook

Honestly who is going to take on westbrooks bloated contract?  One thing is for sure Lakers will need to sweeten the deal with young players and/or draft capital.  No one wants that albatross of a contract on their books.  Lakers are gonna get worse before they get better.
2944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: April 11, 2022, 07:12:46 PM
Hello, Can anybody appear me a list of a few coins with a great potential just like the Ethereum? Thank you.

Gonna need more than this.  Do you mean potential in tes of technology or do you mean in terms of price appreciation.  If you are talking price that will be almost impossible since it would be a needle in the haystack that can get into the top 5 crypto by price.  Diversify and limit downward risk is what I would offer.

Brooklyn Nets Smiley .
I thought the the Cavaliers will maintain their position at the top 4 but it seems that they had a bad nights in their last games thus they fall down to the 8th spot and now has a chance to be eliminated and not enter the playoffs.
Good pick. Cavaliers did not maintain it when Dean Wade, Mobley and Allen was injured. Garland cannot handle everything in both ends of the floor so he lack help. But good news, Mobley is back and he was playing great again.
Who will advance in the play in tournament?

Cavaliers vs Nets

Clippers vs TWolves

Hornets vs Hawks

Spurs vs Pelicans

100% Anonymous Betting → https://nitrobetting.eu/?ref=bitcointalk
I am thinking Brooklyn Nets will advance first for the East and Clippers for the West as the 7th seed.
Hawks to win against the Hornets and Cavs to win against the Hawks. Timberwolves for the West as the 8th seed defeating the Spurs after winning against the Pelicans.

Yeah agreed and those 2 will be potent 7th place teams.  I know the Grizzlies don't want to see the clips.  They are getting kawhi back and just got pg back.  I can see the Nets running the table as the 7th seed.  Clips will struggle against the Grizzlies but that's how I see this playing out too
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 11, 2022, 07:07:28 PM
Player incentives in the final week of NFL are super fun to bet on, not so much in the NBA. I think Harkorede had a bet on Draymond Green a while back, the night Curry set the 3pt record, he also played a few seconds only.

It was a pathetic show tbh, I guess going for the Under for players props' except for players in MVP race or so... I felt really bad Draymond couldn't grab 5 boards 😞, I also had one on Steven Adams in the match before the last in live bet, but he never even returned after they were getting blown out and I was short 5 on (pts+reb+ast).

The risks of player props.  Smiley

I suppose i should have gone with Obi Toppin instead of my Celtics combo (Brown short by 2pts in a blowout). Toppin had 42 points, which if i'm not mistaken is a career-high for him, Quickley with a monster triple-double 34p-10r-12a.

Miami low-key trying to give Haslem a heart attack by playing him for 20ish minutes, dude is like 50 years old Lol (almost 42).

Anyways, good luck to those betting on the Nuggets spread, they will be resting all of their starters, but there is a good chance they still cover, Lakers expected to give some G-League guys significant minutes in the second half is what i heard.

Yeah that was a career high for obi.  It was basically a 2 man show with obi and quick playing well together.  Knicks only had 7 guys available to play and 2 of them never really touched the floor with the Knicks before so obi was a virtual lock for points he had to play all game.  Knicks have an issue with Randle and obi now.  They play the same spot and obi costs a ton less to play there.
2947  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 10, 2022, 07:19:12 PM
Many financial advisors suggest gold , silver and cryptocurrencies as the best investment for this decade! what do you think?

Why not all of them?  I know people will bring up stats of what has done better but there should be room in your portfolio for all of them.  Diversify is king for capital retention.  It should
never be which one but more a what percentage of your portfolio is each.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your shitcoins? on: April 10, 2022, 07:11:50 PM
Are they OK? Cool

If Bitcoin surges, shitcoins go up LESS, if Bitcoin goes through a dip, shitcoins go down MORE. Bitcoin is currently only a few percentages from ATH. Everything in this part of the bull cycle might be only for Bitcoin.

Pretty much on point but people won't want to believe this because of greed.  They see what alts did during flash pumps and think it will happen again.  Bagholder syndrome.  Moral of the story is hold and buy bitcoin here and leave your alts in the dust until a new cycle starts.
2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Ergo and Ravencoin for 2024 on: April 10, 2022, 07:07:37 PM
Which coin would you rather hold for 2024? Between Ergo, Flux and Ravencoin or all three? Which one do you think it has the potential to increase more in value at that time?

This is in the wrong section, this is for mining topics this shoukd be moved to altcoin discussion or speculation.
2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: April 10, 2022, 07:05:18 PM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?

There is nothing about shib that is anything like bitcoin.  It's a copy paste token, doesn't have its own blockchain like bitcoin and can't be mined.  Centralized token that enriched the creators, that's it.  Once this bear market takes a strangle hold tokens like shib will go to the graveyard.  Don't fall for it.
2951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 10, 2022, 07:02:08 PM
Definitely the Suns to lose here this year.  They are stacked up and down and with cp3 at the helm they are in good hands.  My flyer at 15-1 odds is the Grizzlies.  They are young yeah but they are so good.  They will have a tough matchup against the Suns or the Jazz, other than that I can't see them facing tough competition in a 7 game series.  Riding the Grizzlies at 15-1!
2952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 10, 2022, 06:58:42 PM
This is tough since you don't know who will be playing and for how long.  But I'm taking the Nuggets-10 against the Lakers.  After this season and the way its gone I can see them packed up and ready for the off-season, nugs should shred them.  Then I will take the Suns-10.  Again they don't have anything to play for other than the tune up but I can see them in a blowout as well.  Good luck everyone bring on the playoffs!!
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MLB - Major League Baseball- Betting Thread on: April 10, 2022, 01:57:13 AM
It's opening day for Major League Baseball today, anyone else getting excited about it?  Who is your favorite baseball team?  I have been a Chicago Cubs fan for my entire life.  It was a rough time for many many years lol, but my prayers were answered in 2016.  The Cubs play here in just a couple hours which I'll watch, but unfortunately they will likely not be very good this year.  They are certainly in rebuild mode at this point in time.

Who do you guys think will win the World Series this year?? Placing any bets/wagers today?

Whoo hoo.  Yanks 2-0 beating the Sox in extras and today in a pitchers game.  Great way to start out.  Did you read Yanks offered Aaron Judge $217mil contract and he turned it down, lol.  It's gotten out of control.
2954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 09, 2022, 10:27:59 PM
Gimme the Clippers-11.5 at home tonight and will be taking the Spurs +6.5 at home.  With the play in locked in they might relax a bit but  banking on them using this as a warm up game.  They are in the one and done so they should be sharp gearing up for it.

Good luck everyone!

Dwayne haskins just passed away at 24.  Dude got hit by a dump truck, dam man.  So young, football wise I think he just needed to grow up a bit and was rooting for him to male the Pittsburg squad.  Sad
2956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 09, 2022, 10:21:29 PM
Bulls had 3 wins in the last 10 games, that is a 30% win rate, or basically just about of playoffs team type of level. However, I have to say they are a young bunch of players that already guaranteed to go to playoffs and that seems like a good enough reason to relax a bit.

No, they shouldn't relax and just wanted to go to the playoffs. They should know better that they needed that experienced badly.

Between players missing games, and players like demar being old causing him to either miss games or not be great when he plays, that was bound to happen. They just need to regroup until playoffs and then be great there. Obviously we are not going to see them win the championship that easily, it requires some sort of experience that most players lack, but they could at least be decently good in the long run if they keep this up.

They really have to put a decent win again so that their morale will be back. It was only DeRozan who wanted to win badly and putting numbers the rest are just choking. They could exit the first round as well if they play bad like in their last 10 games.

Agreed if they've lost 7 of the last 10 and some pretty badly ypu don't want to coast into the playoffs.  That's how teams get knocked out real quick.  They need to figure this out right away because the last couple I seen them play doesn't look like a playoff team.

2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 09, 2022, 12:53:40 AM
The last thing the Lakers want is Wiggins for lebron.  If they would ever get rid of lebron is for picks, they need a rebuild if they are dumping Bron.  If that then AD goes to a contender with young talent to shed.  Young talent deep draft picks and free agency splash and they will be back to looking forward.  They need to do something, but Wiggins he'll nah.  It would have to be kuminga or Wiseman and some draft picks.

Lakers are already rebuilding since the last years of Kobe but they failed. They should not dump Lebron as this team will get nowhere. The Lakers are a total dump before Lebron arrived. They just need to tweak some things like the failure of Vogel to distribute a good playing time to his players. When Lebron is not playing, look how bad they are.

Lebron makes a lot of excuses, I thought he would be able to compete in this award but his team sucks, so he will just continue to achieve individual success while the impact on his team is not seen and felt.

Lebron did his best but his team really sucks. He is also not stat-padding as his usual average even before. Almost the entire of his teammates are not consistent. I can't say the reason is that they just allow Lebron to make players as to when he is not playing, they still trash even against a lower seed team.

Unfortunately that they didn't use Anthony Davis much this season because him being prone to injury. Kendrick Nunn also robbed them lol.

Everyone is blaming Vogel but I've been saying it from the start of the season they are too old.  Vogel had to deal with a crazy amount of injuries, not cause of mistyped playing time just cause they are old.  Give this garbage te to any coach and it will end up the same result.  Not saying Vogel shoukd stay but if that's their move to get a new coach then next year is an auto loss as well.  Id scrap it for a year and rebuild.  The great thing Lakers has is the ability to sign free agents, people want to play in LA.  So get the picks and young players you can clear your salary and wait for a new crop of free agents and hopefully land a star in the draft.  This team doesn't need tweaks it needs a makeover.

2960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 08, 2022, 11:12:29 PM
As crypto hits the mainstream, more businesses and companies are joining the game. We've seen innovations from NFTs to security tokens, and stablecoins. Most of the coins being traded on the market have smart contract functionalities, making them multi-purpose platforms for real world use. While all of this sounds nice, there's been an increasing rate of centralized exchange dominance over the past years. Not only that, but alternative cryptocurrencies (altcoins) have been prioritizing convenience on top of decentralization in order to provide people with lower fees and blazing-fast transaction confirmation times.

Most recently, Lightning Labs announced the creation of a new stablecoin that will operate in its "Taro" platform. If companies start to embrace stablecoins on top of traditional cryptocurrencies, then the whole industry will become heavily centralized. This should be a cause of concern, as a full government crackdown (or ban) could mark the end of crypto's prominence in the mainstream world.

Do you think ever-increasing centralization is a cause of concern? What would be the impact of tightening regulations over the entire crypto/Blockchain space? Will it still be able to survive? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Well since crypto was pretty much created to combat centralization so if you partake in centralized crypto, using exchanges as your wallet, etc it's your own fault.  Evolution leads to businesses trying to profit off of it but it's a create your own adventure, don't partake and stick to the origination of what crypto is here for.
