The interesting thing about Nets getting Simmons is the fact that they had to give Harden for him. In no regular situation Simmons worths trading Harden for, not even when he is 100% healthy and playing well enough, dude was already bad compared to Harden. So, nets moved from Irving-Harden-Durant trio to Irving-Durant and maybe a shell of a Simmons whenever they get him.

I am 100% sure that Harden asked to get out, otherwise why do something like this? Nets is not good enough to mean anything during playoffs for sure, let them get eliminated during play-in so that they can take a quicker vacation and start their off-season, since it wouldn't matter even if they went to playoffs.

I thought the the Cavaliers will maintain their position at the top 4 but it seems that they had a bad nights in their last games thus they fall down to the 8th spot and now has a chance to be eliminated and not enter the playoffs.

I was convinced that the Cavaliers would go to the playoffs in this season, but unfortunately, they dropped to 8th place, I was impressed, at the same time they were doing so well and now they are fighting to participate in the playoffs.

This game against the Nets could be decisive, for both teams, and I believe in this game that we will have soon, the Nets will beat the Cavs (of course this is my opinion)

Right, I will be on the Nets here against the Cavs, they really built a good chemistry, but against Irving and Durant, I'm not seeing them winning against one of the best duo in the league. The Cavs are amongst in the top 4 early, but they dropped to 8th which is bad in my opinion. Recently the Nets beat the Cavs and this time it will be on the Nets home court so give me the Nets in this play in.

I'm favoring the Clippers and the Nets for seventh spot in their respective conference.

I wanted to see a Giannis vs. Durrant showdown again as soon as possible but Celtics spoiled that. I'm not too disapointed It's not happening since it will be a good series either way.

Clippers deserve to be in the playoffs with how long they hang on despite the long injuries to their two top players. They may not make it far since it's either Suns or Grizzlies hehe.

Ben Simmons? Brooklyn Nets have said that they're looking forward to see him in the first round of the playoffs. But that doesn't impress or interest the fans because he was supposed to make his debut long ago.

Most people considered that the Ben Simmons drama will now be over when he was traded to Brooklyn Nets, but still, the saga continues and there's no official timeline for his return. It's not something about injury (if any) or anything else but it really does have another reason. As per the report, he's already cleared to play coming from his back injury and already doing some shootings, etc.

As also stated, he is currently in the development of strengthening his legs and back. Is that can be considered a reason not to play at the moment?

Well then, so be it. They finally clinched the 7th spot in the East, will face the Cavaliers for the same spot or 8th and the winner will face the Boston Celtics in the 1st round.

Just learned about this. Cavaliers are I think already secured a playoffs spot and now they will play in a play-in tournament.

No choice but to take on another challenge and they need to do their full best. I hope they can even pass on 1st Round as the last time they did it is when Lebron James still playing for them.

My Chicago Bulls drew the Milwaukee Bucks in the opening round which is of course a nightmare for them having any chance of making it to another round. I think they will likely be lucky to win one game . At least they are building for the future though and that’s the important thing !

I'd say for Hawks they are more capable for doing this and more experienced considering they advanced already during the last seasons compare to the young guns of Hornets. For that I think Lebron should the one needed to trade since as I notice about him he is so self centered person and that affect their team chemistry because he always want to be always a alpha on their team. I’ve heard rumors that Russell Westbrook is considering retirement. I personally can’t see him coming back to the LA Lakers after that atrocity he put together this season. There’s a report out there that Lebron specifically chose Westbrook over Demar DeRozan, that seems to be pretty damaging to the reputation of the team that Magic Johnson was out talking about how it should have happened. Long winded way of saying I just don’t see Westbrook coming back. I’m also hoping, and there are rumors that the Lakers might be considering trading Anthony Davis to the Chicago Bulls. Not sure for whom but it’s peaked my interest.

On the contrary though, coach Vogel tried to be a Mike D'Antoni on Lakers and I don't see him a defensive coach. But good riddance though for Vogel, for sure he will find a new coaching job maybe somewhere else.

It's just the everything was a disaster from the very beginning for the Lakers, compounding by Lebron getting injured and Davis. Hopefully they will have a new team next season and forget about the debacle of Vogel + Westbrook + Carmelo pairing.
