2941  Economy / Economics / Re: US Economy finally rebounds in the right direction. on: December 23, 2020, 08:19:35 PM
^ Probably, it is good for the US’s economy if it’s going to a right direction. But everything will change once the administration has been changed and Biden will soon sit at the White House. And Trump is better when it comes to economics.
I would bet, Joe has a better connection anyway. He doesn’t need to be great in economics. If it’s his weakness and he is a great leader, he doesn’t need to do it. He can ask for assistance from his connections and everything will be set up. We will see.
2942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be greedy at this time. on: December 23, 2020, 08:08:17 PM
greed is a natural part of us, and this is like a partner for a trader,
yes greedy in the current market situation must be shunned, greed can get you caught in a trap,
whales have a way to get a lot of profit, so be smart when trading.
^ We need to fight this emotion even though it is a part of us.
Alright, probably I agree that you made your personal mistake of buying bitcoin when it pumped up. But it doesn’t mean that it is going to be the same today. I also made the mistake of considering myself greedy when in fact I was not. It's all matter of research.
It probably looks like it pumped but sooner you find out that it still increased and you supposed to earn profit from it if you bought some the day your decision not to. Nevertheless, the situation of OP will never be the same as others so don’t limit them.
2943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you Interested in trading? on: December 23, 2020, 07:14:55 PM
^ I had like to appreciate your effort in providing this list of great traders. However, there are a lot of platforms to consider as well. Where you can simply mimic their trading decisions but still get the same result of growth.  It’s just that, it requires the least commission fee.? But probably it won’t hurt. Sometimes, you just have to be smart and find the best way to earn a profit and this is one of my suggestions. Nevertheless, it is adding more to your knowledge if you are doing your won research with references like this, it gives a boost in your profit for sure.
2944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Received my first product purchased through bitcoin today on: December 23, 2020, 06:51:43 PM
I really love to hear this awesome news about this kind of delivery mechanisim, but it's takes longer time to deliver to your residence why? I might have some specific questions to ask regarding this, what kind of products best fit to be ordered using Bitcoin, I might need to order some quality product in African region, what exactly can be delivered and how much could be paid for. I have been searching for some companies that deals with delivering good via Bitcoin in my region, can anybody help?
^ Me too but let’s just wait until bitcoin is widely accepted so we can all use bitcoin to purchase anything in any categories. It might take time but we will get there soon. Once we have crossed that bridge, I will celebrate since after a long time believing Bitcoin to grow, we have achieved it. The first time I used bitcoin for purchasing was actually p2p so I wasn’t able to feel the way you felt right now. But still, it’s considered a successful transaction between me and the peer seller using bitcoin. Nevertheless, how I wish to have enough bitcoin before year-end. Cheers!
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream news media's new portrayal on bitcoin hehehe on: December 23, 2020, 06:43:51 PM

But why is the article about black employees racially discriminated on coinbase?

Mainstream media wil always find a way to make BTC look bad no matter how much things had changed. While majority knew racism is already frowned upon, they can particularly magnify their lenses to focus on coinbase  flaws.
^ Definitely right.
I don’t think bitcoin can be related to sexism and racism. Like seriously?
Bitcoin is a store of value and medium of exchange. It will never be related to sexism and racism and it is probably the users but not the bitcoin itself. The bubble is accepted and considered as criticism, it can be related and also that bitcoin is only for criminals, which would be considered before. But sexism will never be. If people have problems with racism, put the blame on the organization, not on the bitcoin. Just leave Bitcoin alone.
2946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end the dollar’s reign? on: December 23, 2020, 06:32:15 PM
^ In my own opinion, even though your question is a little bit tricky. Well, I don’t believe that bitcoin will end the dollar’s reign. We have to think that central banks that run the dollar have limited resources. Cause they don’t. What I believe is bitcoin can Co-exist with Dollars next big move. And that is running their currency in digital. This is what I strongly believe and I already made research about this.
2947  Economy / Economics / Re: David Rosenber: Bitcoin is in a 'massive bubble' on: December 23, 2020, 06:25:37 PM
^ bullish Bitcoin in 2017 was a bubble, but bullish this time is different. The price of Bitcoin is slowly rising, accompanied by a lot of positive news from large companies that are getting interested in Bitcoin, hence the opinion that Bitcoin is a massive bubble is very wrong.
^ I was expecting a better opinion from an economist. A better statement that makes sense. But on this one, I really find it non-sense.
Follow-the-herd does not apply with Bitcoin, It is different. We never invite people to join us and we have independence. Mr. Rosenberg should do his research.  But yes, I would agree, the last bull has a lot of disappointments ahead of it but things go that way, and as long as it returned to the bull this year, that would be enough.
2948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa's Bitcoin revolution is rapidly growing on: December 23, 2020, 06:16:37 PM
~snip~
What about in your country? is Bitcoin creating an influence and change as well in your own country?
^ Since we are freely using bitcoin I would say, it is a lot of changes to those people who had and adopting bitcoin.
However, you know, when the internet came in people are getting more intelligent since they access a lot of data over the internet. Good thing that Africa is now trying to improve their lives by adopting the technology. They will never regret their decision of doing so. I have seen countries that adopted Bitcoin grow. And I hope that this will serve in long term to them and even the same to my country.
2949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking news: Skybridge Invested $25 million in Bitcoin on: December 23, 2020, 06:01:12 PM
^ I don’t really believe that the influence really came from Microstrategy.
At their status in finance, influence is almost absent in every decision they make. They do things with their own data and records.
I probably guess it’s a move they start because they speculated something to happen based on their research. Nevertheless, I hope there are more big investors that keep coming in crypto and continuously adopting bitcoin to be used in any business industry all over the world.
2950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA BTC KYC Supposed Regulations On In/Out Transactions. Effects? Poll! on: December 22, 2020, 11:57:16 PM
^ For me whatever happens, KYC will never be a threat to BTC. It actually helps BTC to build trust in consumers and attracts people who would like to have securities. KYC will help BTC for that matter.  As a matter of fact, this KYC is only harmful to the entities and individuals who are doing some grey stuff. Let us consider the fact that from time to time, centralization could be a partner of cryptocurrency in the future.
2951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: December 22, 2020, 11:38:13 PM
~snip~
Indeed, we are both a gambler and a trader.
People who come into trading is just like gambling themselves for their future.
^ Definitely right, trading is considered gambling but this slight risk than gambling because you probably control risk if you have followed the trading process which enough for you if you have skill and knowledge about it. Trading is not just an easy way to earn money, it is a very hard task to speculate the market movement and earn profit and that is not based on luck that gambling has. In trading, there are too many factors to consider and to adjust including yourself. Nevertheless, if you will be passed all of these, consider profit will follow.
2952  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 22, 2020, 11:29:11 PM
I sold some of my BTC savings too but I was left with no choice since we don't have enough cash.
As long as I could I would just hold it but since I don't have a choice anymore and we are short in cash so I decided to sell some of my BTC savings.
But I would surely save more or buy back if I could.
^ I had experienced the same as you, I don't have enough savings now because I spend them all during at that time when I was in sick. I have no choice just to cash out my bitcoin than I cannot pay my bills in the hospital. Look at now, we have reached the new ATH but we don't have bitcoin to cash out, a little bit disappointed to my self but the repentance always comes at last, it will never come back so probably let us collect again and prepare to the next ATH.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and two other executives are in trouble with SEC on: December 22, 2020, 10:49:08 PM
^ My opinion is, Ripple has good sets of lawyers that assist them with their decision.
But probably this really triggers them to move to a different location where Cryptocurrencies are accepted or not yet regulated to avoid these happening again. Probably, they would win the case here and Ripple will never do such things that would destroy them at their company’s expense. Nevertheless, I thought that this Ripple was already regulated by the government and the SEC will have nothing to do.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in 2021 on: December 22, 2020, 10:35:53 PM
It has dumped today and this is the reason why.
And if this continues and won't be solved, we see a not so good 2021 for it.
^ The problem of the XRP is this, it is always regulated by the government and possible also it is manipulated by them. So, we can't really trust this coin if you are talking about worth HODLING them. Nevertheless, they are right, when it comes to transactions, it is easy to use XRP and mostly useful just like in a bank transfer, but when we are talking profit upon holding, I will say no, that is not worth it.
2955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: December 22, 2020, 10:29:04 PM
Everyone knows that many have invested in ERC20 tokens from the Ethereum platform, but do you intend to invest in TRC20 tokens from the TRON platform, if "YES" what token did you buy and please include the reason as well.
^ It can be profitable, but choose those that have the potential one. There are too many new projects arise these days, we did not know which one is the right to invest in, the hype of Defi has also a risk of those fake projects, so we really don't know how legitimate they are. I suggest why you did not spare your money in the top 10 altcoins in the crypto market. Those are probably worth it than risking your money investing in the new token, you did not know if that is only an HYIP.
2956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: December 22, 2020, 01:28:18 PM
I believe that Altcoins are the best type of investment because it is cheap and I agree with the stability to expect the prices to go up to 10x in the case of bitcoin, but it would take time to get the returns.
^ It's a higher odds which is also high risk, that is how the altcoins that I per see. You invested at a cheap price and who knows those altcoins you invested becomes shitcoin someday. I am not comfortable with them holding for a long time, probably in a short period of time but still, my asset focused on bitcoin which is good for investment even though we know that it is very volatile and very sensitive when it comes to managing our asset. We had a different decision, if that is your perspective view to handle your capital, that is yours, but I had still been stick on the bitcoin investment.
2957  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW ATH 24K$$ TODAY on: December 22, 2020, 01:05:53 PM
Might hit $25K, or maybe not.
^ I am possibility more confident it is. After reaching the $24k which is a new ATH, it has a short correction, and now it is maintaining the price in the market which is commonly a good sign that there could be a bull run in the next few days. This is what I am expected that there could be a new ATH since then and after a few days did not have a monitor in the market. Nevertheless, I suspected that the reasons for the sudden rise of bitcoin price because of the recent news that bitcoin gained, awareness to the people will probably bring adoption of bitcoin.
2958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: December 22, 2020, 12:35:28 PM
I think the phrase 'low risk' is not true. All new projects involve high risk. Good advertising is not always a good project. I think you have a new interest in cryptocurrencies, you will understand us over time  Undecided
^ Definitely right, when we are talking about the investment it includes risk, and that is impossible to low your risk upon investment.
I consider a new project should belong to high risk because you even don't know their main goal even though it seems to be a good project but it ends up as a scam. But I respect everyone's decision and if OP wants to invest, OP should have his own research before investing new project and don't rely upon other's opinions. Nevertheless, I don't see a negative side on that project upon having quick research but I suggest to have deep research if you want to risk your money.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: December 22, 2020, 12:08:59 PM
~snip~
Last year, it’s the first time I am sending gifts to my loved ones with cryptocurrencies. This year, I am planning on doing it again aside from just physical gifts. It’s all about letting them aware that they are much more valuable to hold for a long time or they are free to convert it to cash, in which I am teaching them one by one on doing it. It’s all about spreading awareness regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies during the holidays.
^ Good to see there are too many people like you willing to send a gift to their loved ones a valuable asset like cryptocurrency. But it is also good if you include even a short video clip or a letter that explains how bitcoin works and functionalities on it or possible risk. Probably because they think always to have profit, they never know the risk and the possible negative consequences ahead upon adopting bitcoin after they receive a gift from you. It could be blaming you once they had losses from bitcoin investment because they don't understand the system. Nevertheless, that is a good idea.
2960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 11:44:36 AM
It all depends on one question. Do you need fiat right now? If yes, then right now is not bad time for cash out

Yeah, but don't cash out all. Buy again when the price drop and hold because if you are going to cash out all, then suddenly the bitcoins value increase again, for sure, you will regret.
^ Definitely right and good question, if you badly need money right at this moment then, it's the right time to cash out your bitcoin but I suggest not to cashout them all, just HODL and left some in your wallet. We could not blame people who want to spend their bitcoin during the holidays because most people need money at this time and probably selling their bitcoin is one common decision of most HODLERs. Nevertheless, I am worried about the possible impact, it could cause a short correction of the price once everyone has the same decision of selling bitcoin.
