2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Adult Entertainment Coins the next thing? on: November 17, 2021, 11:59:59 PM
Lot many coins have reached the market with the same backing system and objective, but none reached what they aimed. Only project that I found worth it was an online video streaming and uploading platform where users can pay with the respective coin and watch movies/porn (nothing offensive). Also based on the views reached by the videos uploaded by us we'll get paid in terms of that particular coin. How far this has become successful is unknown, because of the availability of all sort of videos online free of cost.
2962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bovada removing bitcoin as payment option on: November 17, 2021, 10:48:03 PM
They can't just remove Bitcoin as an option, most probably they are being force by the situation especially if the regulations are restricting you from using Bitcoin, this is the only reason that I see or better yet you can ask them for a reason.

Bitcoin has been an option on many crypto gambling site since then, even if the fees are quiet expensive so this is a rare move from them, hopefully they give an update with regards to this one.
Regulation might be the major issue causing them to stop the usage of bitcoin into gambling. Apart from that transaction cost is mentioned by most people, but that doesn't make sense. Because coins that have got high transaction fee than bitcoin is there in the updated list.

Hopefully they might be into the accumulation of bitcoin than making it into business. This is what strikes my mind when one has stopped accepting bitcoin into their service all of the sudden.
2963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 17, 2021, 10:35:53 PM
It's a shame that teams like Italy and Portugal had to enter the play-off zone, both of whom were defending champions at the previous Euros. With this result, maybe only one of them gets a ticket to the World Cup or maybe neither. Because right now the dark horse teams are very likely to put up a strong fight too, I personally really doubt that because I was one of the people who bet for Italy and Portugal to win in yesterday's match.
I don't understand what all this fuss about Portugal playing play-off. Is it a new thing and I don't think it is official anymore. They are used to playing play-offs either the old or new Portugal, even in Europe cup they also use to qualify as a best looser. As a Big fan, I am not surprise about Portugal playing playoffs. Because at the end, they will qualify and start hailing the goat. it just happened that Portugal Coach was tactical clueless against Serbia. He started the game with a defensive approach. Just imagining with the like of C.Ronaldo, Bernado Silva, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Jota, Joao Felix, Andre Silva and he just be packing the bus against Serbia.

Honestly, I was also kind of shocked that the Portugal coach took this approach against Serbia. because I don't think anyone gave any chance to Serbia winning that match and even I thought Serbia will lose and Portugal will be the winner very easily, but their coach was not like to defensive in his approach and the team suffers the consequences.
Portugal has a clear chance of qualifying for the world they will likely play any of unseeded countries like Turkey, Czech, North Macedonia, Poland, Ukraine and Austria, I believe non of the above mentioned countries could any pose a serious threat or challenge to their qualifying for the world cup come March 2022 when the final playoffs will take place, though it is going to be a tough match, however, had it been they didn't make it up playoff stage it would have an outright non participation in the world, for there is hope for their country.
Playing against those countries Portugal will feel more confidence, but these days the progress from teams were big. We don't know who is performing and what is happening with the match at times. None could've thought of Portugal losing to Serbia. Some might've taken rest not watching the match believing Portugal will make it. At the final minute things changed. So, it is good to play with confidence than over confidence.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 17, 2021, 06:47:18 PM
India and New Zealand have just played its 1st PayTM T20. The match was awesome between both teams. NZ batted first and scored 164 runs in 20 overs. Guptil scored 70 and Chapman scored 63 runs which really supported NZ to score more than 150 Plus.

Aswin was awesome taking two main wickets. Then yes Rohit was on fire scoring 48 followed by Surya Kumar with his 62 which really lead team march towards win. It was a tight situation in the last two overs. Lost couple of wickets but yes at last Pond has finished the game having two more balls in hand.
It was a nice game. At the beginning of the match it looked like New Zealand won't reach a score above 160. Once after the powerplay New Zealand got to score continuously even though there were partnership breaks in between. Indian batsmen played good and at the right time Suryakumar did a fantastic job. He is in his seventh T20 match and among that have scored three 50+ which is really big for an young player.
2965  Economy / Speculation / Re: JP Morgan: bitcoin could hit $146,000 on: November 16, 2021, 11:59:22 PM
JPMorgan renews prediction that bitcoin could hit $146,000 - and says it's acting more like digital gold than ever

The guys have updated their predictions and I find the new value interestingly high. The new 146k has the potential imho to be the start of a new pump.
Would it be enough for some nice week-end speculation?  Cheesy

I know that "JPMorgan said that for the $146,000 price to come true, bitcoin's huge volatility would have to fall sharply", but I don't think that the investors would care much about that detail.
we've seen a lot of influential people give their predictions about the price of bitcoin.  i'm very sure the price of bitcoin will go to the price that jp morgan said and it will definitely happen in 2022, next year will be a big year for bitcoin.
I don't think so, because every market move takes place on a cyclic process. For now bitcoin have reached a good price. Further it needs corrective measures and gain stability for a bigger push. Bitcoin could reach new ATH if it was able to break the $64k resistance. If not it'll test the $60k zone and might fall as low as $55000.
2966  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalization and Standardization of Organ Donation on: November 15, 2021, 11:44:03 PM
How this going to work effectively is still a myth. Because the donar is paid upfront, and the donar agree for the organ transfer after his death. This could increase the chance of crime.

For example person A is rich and he has got good sum of money. Person B is poor and he agrees for the organ donation and gets upfront payment. Now person B is in the urge of transplantation for survival. By this time some people will intend to kill and take the organ. So, this isn't going to be more effective plan. If something offensive or controversial I'm sorry for that, nothing intentional. Human minds are built in such a way.
2967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 15, 2021, 10:49:34 PM
You can't compare this fight to the fight of Manny against Ugas, that was a professional fight and Ugas is a champion as well. This match is a pure exhibition match and if we look at the experience of the fighters, clearly Mike Tyson has the advantage and that fact that he is still fit now, I have a feeling that his chance of winning is higher against Logan.
Sure it is incomparable to this match because this is far from being a professional match.

I'm also thinking that Mike won't just let Logan give him a slide and win on this match despite being exhibition. I think that everyone wants to see him being beaten by Mike.

Money, fame or reputation, Mike will probably choose the latter.

I wouldn't be so sure about it. He has already gained fame and is a legend. However, we all know about his financial problems. If this information is true, then unfortunately Mike is bankrupt and even drowning in debt, so if anyone would like to earn money from it, it is possible that Mike would agree to some very profitable proposition...
I don't know about that thing about Mike.

But if he's bankrupt and has to accept matches like this then he would take anything for sure even what it takes as long as the price is right. I really don't think that he's onto that point though.

One thing I'm sure of is that he is not financially bankrupt because there was news before that he donated most of his income to the charity.
Better read this article below and I believe it's true.

Mike Tyson claims he will donate most of the $10 million he earns in Roy Jones Jr. fight to charities
He isn't financially bankrupt. Now what he fights for, looks like fun and entertaining. Logan Paul being young makes him go for such a fight and increase his fame out of luck. However this will be with full of expectations. Mike Tyson's famous quote "Without discipline you can't be a champion. Discipline is what you hate to do, but do it like you love it". I don't know how discipline is Logan Paul when it comes to boxing Cheesy
2968  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 15, 2021, 09:32:22 PM
Will you be satisfied if 2021  ends with an ATH of $70k for Bitcoin. Will it make you more richer or it wouldn't add any value to your intial capital.
Will you regret you joined the trend late or  would you be glad you bought when the  market did a retracement? Or you are still staring at Bitcoin with some sentiment
If that was the best price we reached then so be it, bitcoin is going to do what the supply and demand dictates so there is no point in lamenting it if that were to happen, I could understand if the investors that came to this market during this year did something like that as they have no experience about how to deal with this, but someone that is more experimented and that has been here for longer should remember the really bad days of bitcoin and how this lasted for years, so an ATH of 70k is a reason to celebrate and not to lament yourself.

Some people are not grateful for what bitcoin has achieved so far. So $70k is actually a very good price for bitcoin to celebrate as we haven't seen it yet. And this year alone, we have seen several ATHs for bitcoin, in which, we haven't seen those prices in the previous years. Expect that people will ask for more, because that's human nature. And with the current adoption, I believe, we will see new price levels in the coming months or years. But no matter what the price of btc will close this year, I will be more than happy to embrace it.
This is the same mind I've got. Throughout the year it has marked several ath value. Having patience is the one required to experience the ath value. In reality users holding atleast half the bitcoin benefits big out of bitcoin.

Majority of the Bitcoin holders were like you and me who tend to hold, but out of emergency we cash it out. The small holders just get some mere profits on holding and on getting into trading practice. Any form of growth is highly profitable for the whales on the market.
2969  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 15, 2021, 07:53:09 PM
Do not bet here. I deposited today and reached 6 confirmations Bitcoin and the live chat says there’s an issue with the network, there is no issue. I’ve just lost my deposit and no one has helped me all they said is shortly. Scam book. Will be opening a askgambkers and scam report. Stay away. Live chat says it hasn’t been picked up on the network but 7 confirmations and counting

I know you are playing here since 2019 of course you know   the deposit procedure so there's no need to rush to accuse if there is no problem your deposit will be credited
Anyway this isn't the first time you've made accusations I've seen you do the same on 4-5 other sites it's a bit weird if you always get into trouble
What the user has made is the routine of him. One way or the other he used to indicate some form of issues. He never agrees there isn't any flaw. He comes up without any proof. Atleast he could've posted the chat with the support. He does nothing, simply without reason he terms the service a scam. Op should go through the awards for which Stake has been chosen. Maybe after that OP will understand the truth.
2970  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto start-ups receiving copious funding on: November 15, 2021, 07:04:59 PM
More number of Venture Capitalists are getting involved with cryptocurrency start-ups. Same time there are more potential projects that are in a state of hanging whether to proceed forward or stop development. These days the investments weren't made looking upon the project, but upon the way it generates money and the capital gains can be made. Investors aren't much into projects that have the stabilized growth, they always look for immediate results out of the market. Everytime this won't happen, and this is not market development. What these people do are just another kind of gambling.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 15, 2021, 06:26:02 PM
Australian's are mostly play very good in big games, so they have done in semifinal and final we can say they are real champions of cricket with ability of having change things very quickly. After lost against England no one was expecting they can do like this but after this lost Warner and Hazelwood both fight back in very good way Adam Zampa was also very useful in critical situations.
New Zealand done some better in last few years but still they need more time because first they were mostly losing in semifinals now they have habit of losing in finals so losing three finals in 6 years really matter of worry but still good thing they were able to win test championship against team like India.

I think New Zealand needs to find some really hard-hitting batsmen for their one-day and t20 squad. I know they have that type of player but if you don't score in the depth overs, u can't win in t20 and also in ODI in some cases. And their whole batting order needs to be more strengthened. Because Cricket is becoming a game of batsmen day by day.

I feel NZ has best batsmen now in the line and the last match was fantastic. I feel the bowlers have to be looked at. Need to bring in few more best spinners who is more capable of taking more wickets. What I observed in the final match is, NZ players missed few catches which led them really loose the match. Warner and Marsh were on fire. If NZ had controlled the runs and caught the wickets came in, they would have been the winner as the score 170 plus was not easily chase-able in finals.
Mistakes from New Zealand were the drops, other than that there is nothing to say. Because the batsmen did their responsibility scoring 170 runs which is good. From the bowling side, the bowlers did the best to stop. But, they weren't capable doing it as the batsmen were in fire crashing everyone's bowling.

My strong belief for the winning of Australia against New Zealand is the ground. Dubai grounds are much supportive for second batting. This has been experienced throughout the tournament.
2972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 15, 2021, 04:29:07 PM
Out of the dark clouds having a silver line shows the possibility of success out of gambling. The hard part everyone can't be on the silver line. Gambling is all about fun, and to stay safe setting our limits is a must.

Gambling can be compared with the cryptocurrency market, because if our calculation have gone against our prediction we might end up losing. Once after losing, out of stress should not take decisions to recover the loss. This will make you go for investment on shitcoins. Same as that one should not loss patience once after losing, because lack of patience will force the user to spend big. If lucky the recovery happens else it'll be a big loss.
2973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 15, 2021, 04:15:02 PM
I think that when renewable energy will be widely used even to mine Bitcoin. People will be more calm and optimistic about Bitcoin. While it is being mined consuming so much dirty energy that pollutes our environment, there are a lot of people and organisation that are against crypto, but I think that  it will become greener soon and people will change thier tune.
I can't blame the government as they are also fair in using energy and not sacrificing the needs of others while giving prioritizing the mining industry. It was now the battling issue where to find another source of energy that could sustain the needs of this mining industry. Strict implementation of the rules makes to stop illegal mining activities and that it saves some energy as well. I think they are doing right and it wasn't mean they are trying to stop but instead, they'll find a way to become sustaining.
Energy generation is a big issue around the globe. Recently some countries faced the worst situation when there happened shortage of coal. In my country the coal accumulation was able to meet two days power generation, but somehow things got managed and now back to normal functioning. Same kind of power deficiency will be there. So, governments focusing on proper power management will disturb mining. But, through sustainable energy development things can be done in an efficient manner.
2974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMC Theatres Debuts Bitcoin Payments on: November 15, 2021, 04:07:43 AM
It has begun accepting through another platform. If things continue it'll be good. In the past large scale companies have begun and stopped the service in a short. Nowadays the support system and usage has bounced which keeps the payment gateways active. Around 2014 travel support giant Expedia came forward with the plans of accepting bitcoin and got implemented on late 2018. Within a short the service got terminated as things didn't worked with the coinbase partnering. Now once again they've come up partnering with travala.com that provides support for cryptocurrency payment for Expedia hotels and flight bookings.

In most cases direct acceptance is found very minimal, maybe it is due to the security and volatility of the market.
2975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Football Fan tokens and gambling on: November 14, 2021, 11:59:25 PM
It is clear, these tokens doesn't have any real purpose or use case in my view. It is something like a hype/attraction. Just think of the football sporting fans around the world. It is a big number, these tokens market is big and more football fans will invest buying their favourite's tokens. This way market making is a simple task for them. There is no real purpose and slowly gets used on gambling needs which too is very minimal.
2976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are More Whales Moving Their BTC? on: November 14, 2021, 11:50:46 PM
There is no price drop with bitcoin by the time, if now this could've been connected as the reason for the drop in the price of bitcoin. As bitcoin is speculative by its features, whales at times try to make disturbance in the market. This is the past, now things have changed and people doesn't react to it.
2977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Call of duty tournament on: November 14, 2021, 06:11:08 AM
this is the best game in my opinion, i like it a lot. Now talking about your idea, there are some points that have already been mentioned and I just want to add that it would be more practical if you asked participants to contribute some money and in the end the winner would take all the money, but to do that you would have to have one Reliable escrow to ensure that funds would not be stolen
More users are hard players. Even after the development of more number of games same as call of duty it has got its own players who stick to it forever. More than fifteen years crossed from its launch. Hosting a tournament is really good and will let more users involved. For $5 few might take a chance whereas majority will ignore.

As suggested by @Slow death making an entry fee for the participation and letting the  winner take the entire amount will be good. For this an escrow is a must. It is very rare to see tournaments with payments in bitcoin on P2P games.
2978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French presidential election betting on: November 13, 2021, 07:24:29 PM

Directbet would probably be the best this time around with the LN. Sadly it's gone.

What about Fairlay. They have this and Macron still is https://fairlay.com/market/who-will-be-elected-president-of-france-in-2022-1/
I'm not aware of thier politics but Macron is famous which he might again win. If polls and social media will just be my basis for betting it'd be 50-50. It's easy to bet when you are from the country itself since you can read the opinions of your fellow countrymen.
Directbet used to have all politics related events. Going through stake it is possible to see the UK general election under the list. People from that particular country can make close prediction on the result. If is very rare to experience results going out of the prediction. During the Donald Trump vs Hilary Clinton my inner mind suggested to pick Trump, but following different analysis I chosed Hilary. Finally the result is against the Prediction. Anything could happen. Take it as fun and move forward.
2979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling fraud and it settlements on: November 13, 2021, 05:30:53 PM
there are many definitions of fraud in gambling but the house is usually a scam and will not pay it happens online gambling ! there is no money back guarantee unless the site is not scam due to some bugs or something for sure money will be refunded ! cases in countries are also different money can usually close cases where corruption is in legal institutions ,the solution is that we as gamblers must join a community ,same as in this forum on there is a section for that case and it is very helpful for other gamblers
Even most of the gambling sites refused to pay the winning rewards to the users when the amount is huge and the stories csn be found in the scam accusation sections especially but when choose the best and reputed gambling sites the chances of getting scammed is less, even if there is any dispute then it can be dealt in this public forum.
I think that's the case if someone wants to be sure with their bets handled correctly if they win big in the casino/gambling sites they're playing. But for those who randomly stumbled upon which is usually happens to newbies or a person who didn't know how to do their own research. They usually end-up in a shady casino and will get scammed. And the settlement or process of trying to take your money back isn't easy especially if you didn't read their ToS or the casino would use their ToS against you and you can't do anything about it.
Not going through the tos is the big reason for traps. We seek for support when we're unable to make a withdrawal. By the time the team will brief the tos and make us stay silent as said in the above quote. Right now we've got lot many platforms and legit review service providers. Just going through that it is possible to use the trusted platforms for our gambling needs than getting scammed depositing our funds on new gambling sites.
2980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: November 13, 2021, 03:05:40 PM
Bitcoin have got multiple usage. Most of the countries have regulated the usage. Governments haven't allowed it to be used as a legal tender. This makes bitcoin more of an investment, asset than currency. Countries like El Salvador have considered bitcoin a legal tender. As it is a small country and it hasn't got its own national currency, the decision from the government is making a big change in their economy.

The adoption level of bitcoin have increased with time. Maybe when majority of the countries start accepting bitcoin we'll see it's major usage as currency.
