2961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: May 04, 2021, 07:42:20 AM
Based on my personal experience wherein I just try to buy anytime I want, wait for the price to rise but instead of what I am expecting, it keeps going down. There is still a right timing for us to buy. One problem is just how to determine at which exact point is the right timing to buy and sell so it must be included on our research.
By timing is all about catching possible lower prices; yes I agree it should be included by your research and analysis so that you can make your trading a perfect timed one. Because of high volatility of markets, we cannot get the exact prices to buy or sell neither. So, you must go for referring your technical part to make sure that you are getting right price at given moment.

Knowing your target is also important. It may seem that it is very easy to earn big money in trading but it isn't. Time and effort is what we really need to be able to determine how did this trading really works.
We cannot simply determine our target levels but it should be coming from same technical analysis. Because, if you're going by your own and comfort zone target levels then you might need to compromise your profit portions.

When we are depending on only the research and analysis even for booking profits then we can avoid disappointments and later regrets.
2962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Urge or Trading Surge on: May 04, 2021, 07:11:37 AM
I’m not into trading that much because I have a limited time in the market so I tend to buy and hold for a specific period of time. Most of the time I took profit as early than expected because of some circumstances so I don’t think I can hold for straight years because I believe the market will always pump and dump, so taking profit at the top and buying at the bottom is my priority, this is a smart hodlers for me.
That is depending on our preference and we make decisions depending on what we think is right. Besides, there is no urge for everyone to do long-term holding nor to have a short-term goal also. That is how important to analyze the market trend, we don't hold if necessary and we do selling also if it is a need. We don't need to be a hero and save the market and hold even it dumps, it is an option to sell just to save some rather than to lose it all.
But in my opinion, if we are holding bitcoin then definitely we are contributing for the growth of bitcoin ecosystem overall. Holding is not only benefiting the holder but it will lead to a sustaining future for everyone. Still it is individuals' preferences like when someone is desperately needing money, we cannot expect them to be persisting with their all holding.

Like some other people have mentioned above, we should build our portfolio with the mixer of both investing and holding; it's a kind of diversification that will definitely lead to big benefits over the time rather than just depending on only one.
2963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: May 03, 2021, 07:42:43 AM
The hype that occurs when altcoins will be listed on Binance is quite high. People are attracted to buy because of the expectation to increase when it is on the Binance Exchange. Today we can see that some of the altcoins that were launched on Binance increased on average at the start of the listing. and in the future, with a large enough trade in Binance there will be potential for an increase. especially if we talk launchpad token
Yes, when one exchange is already doing good and trying to dominate in all sectors of crypto space, then that exchange definitely will have huge volume. When more people are trading in one place then obviously they will keep on investing into all of the listed coins/tokens. This may be the one simple reason why we are seeing all the coins and tokens listed on binance is showing good potential.

Biance's planning are perfectly working for it in multiple ways. Binance is slowly trying to become a hub of every needs of crypto space. As long as individuals privacy and rights are being protected I guess this kind of growth should be welcome.
2964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Cryptocurrencies in Pandemic Times on: May 03, 2021, 06:42:53 AM
Most of the people it helped from the money they invested last year are now able to make a profit. from an economic point of view, people who invest in the cryptocurrency market will certainly benefit from investing nowadays.
Fortunately crypto markets trade stable and stronger among pandemic issues which resulted in easy money making option for many people in this covid times. Not just for the people who invested earlier and waited for boom but for the traders who started just after losing their day job also, crypto market provided very good income stream, thanks to strong bull run after bitcoin's 3rd halving.

I watched some of covid specific coins and tokens and some were created to collect donation etc. but all of them turned scam and shit projects over the time but old and reputed coins continues with their marvelous run to get good returns for all investors and traders.
2965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!! on: May 03, 2021, 05:50:37 AM
Always chose innovative coins and avoid old coins. Old coins like Tron, Ripple, Cardano and EOS have a very limited potential for grow, because new, technically advanced coin will outperform it!
I am seeing different people are speculating completely in different manner. I have good opinion about old coins like Tron and Ada as both have real potential may grow up to 10x in coming months but we need to be patient enough as new ATH may happen by 2022 as well. Just because of these coins are old, I am not seeing any point to ignore these coins.

if you dare to take a big risk to buy it, maybe you should think of a strategy and also the right target to get the profit you want.
Even I am a high risk trader, I am not ready to invest with those coins OP has mentioned. I am still holding old coins as dogecoin made me somehow convinced to justify my action. I may continue and invest more only with old coins.
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the most commonly USED crypto currency in the future? on: May 02, 2021, 07:12:38 PM
Still Bitcoin which is mostly used and future still far to conclude, currently the huge gap between any other alts are far to reached, bitcoin acceptance coming from all sides of the world are very wide.
While after learning bitcoin interest to invest and use other alts are also possible, if ever that there's coin to surpass bitcoin in terms of usages it something about how people see the value of transacting.
Yes I agree. Right now bitcoin must be the most commonly used it cryptocurrency and it may remain as same in near future as well. The reasons are obvious.

But, anything could happen for this scenario because right now bitcoin transaction fees are skyrocketing which might lead people to think about switching over to different cryptocurrencies which are having lowest transaction fees. I'm seeing already lots of people are talking about this but probably they will never leave off bitcoin just because of this reason but they may start thinking like having bitcoin only for investment purposes and for day-to-day activities they might start adopting some new other cryptocurrency given that is having the lowest transaction fee.
2967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: May 02, 2021, 04:23:19 PM
The gambling restriction is implemented on land and so the people in Goa have built casinos on ships.
Technically they are operating the casinos on water and not on land which bypasses the restriction from the government  Grin
The government also seems fine with it  Grin
This is not a strange but something new about Goa, I am hearing for the first time. I guess international waters are known for neutral venue where no country's restrictions are applicable. So, let me check when I will be visiting Goa. I traveled there some 3 years back but no one guide me for gambling facility such a way.

In Dubai, I have enjoyed full casino within hotel premises (I do not prefer to unveil the name here) which provided me experiences like half of Vegas.
2968  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: May 01, 2021, 08:56:47 PM
Honestly if you come to a casino for a financial profit, you are not really doing it right. I mean don't get me wrong there are a few places that allow you to be the house and invest accordingly so that you could profit from that, that is a great deal and I really like it. However one thing is for sure, if you are not really a gambler, you should not be investing into a casino neither, what is the point of that if you are not interested in the gambling itself.

I personally do gamble and have a bit of money in both here and one other place, but I do not put that money in because I want to just profit and not care about the rest, I lost more money gambling than I made from investing here for example, so it is really not my main point. If you want steady income, go do proof of staking on ETH or something so that you could make a bit more profit with no risk at all.
2969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "crypto day trading strategies ...." on: April 29, 2021, 12:26:04 PM
I am one the best loser when it comes to day trading. I ended up losing huge money in this gambling, though there are many who are in profit by doing day trading.
Hopefully you're not the only one who had bitter experience with daytrading. I am sure there are at least 90% of this community might having same experience if they had tried daytrading. The only chance for the people who could get chances to escape from the dangers of their trading must be, they probably never tried for day trading in crypto.

many traders forget to close their trade when they see the profit become bigger.
You refer greedy traders? I guess if you're greedy while trading then you cannot make profits even in long-term trading so there cannot be an exception in day trading.
2970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: April 29, 2021, 07:27:08 AM
You know, people who using stop loss is for those who aren't certain what they invest.  If people have research anything about their investment before, once they buy the coin/invested, they never will use stop loss. Instead use stop loss, they will keep re-buy/buy the dip because they knows well what they invested.
In my understanding, you do not need stoploss for your investments but your trading must need.
There are a lot of differences between trading and investment. For investments you need to go for fundamental things whereas for trading you just need on that particular day's technical things so that you could get into profits or cut your losses earlier. It means only technical analysis may give you stoploss levels and not the fundamental things.

The new perspective of using stop-loss levels is, not only to cut your losses earlier but to save your time as well. I am personally never entering any trade without stoploss levels.
2971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: April 29, 2021, 06:55:18 AM
Quote
Do you stick to your trading plans
This is what I realized recently, I am trading actively, there are some I have lost trades and some are winning trades.
Most of the losses or breakeven are those trades that no plan, especially no stop-loss price and a target price, especially the target price, it is very important and stop loss too. I should've profits, but decided to still go.
That's why before opening a trade position, PLAN is a must, your target and stop loss.
Other than target and stoploss levels, there are other multiple things we actually need to plan up for successful trading:

* what other coins you are going to trade/avoid
* size of your positions
* trading hours

The above list is not a complete one but I could not recall right away all of them what are the things I am using in my trading. Trading is something that requires a lot of discipline and planning and when we are deviating from our plans then the results may not be the same as per our preferences.
2972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: April 29, 2021, 01:33:35 AM
The results or profits of scalping are quite good, but don't follow me because the scalping method is a fast method, you have to learn to read candles to analyze the coins you want to scalp.
If they meant "copy trading" with you then I guess that will not work for the case of scalping. Moreover, I understand hat they are interested on your methods of scalping if you are making profits through scalping in consistent manner. I guess that major cryptocurrency exchanges are yet to introduce copy-trading facility. So, just following for knowledge level alone possible as far as I am concerned.

I never like to trade in short term based methods hence I never considered scalping as one of method that I want to trade with.
2973  Economy / Economics / Re: "BTC not a currency per se but can be an alternative asset" China on: April 28, 2021, 06:46:17 PM
In an interesting turn of events, China's tone on BTC has "softened". Who was expecting this change in tone? Not me. Not after all the crack downs on exchanges or ICO bans and the works they are doing with their CBDC.

People's Bank of China deputy governor also said they will be looking to craft regulations to prevent speculations of BTC investments. They will most likely convene meetings with traditional companies that are interested.

How do you see this affect BTC and cryptocurrency in general?
This is a good change, hopefully it’s going to help in bringing a lot of positive changes to the cryptocurrency community. Once that they have done something like this, a lot of people in china will now start owning the cryptocurrency assets of their choice without the fear of being punished and the cryptocurrency businesses in that location will start flourishing, and that’s also a plus for the cryptocurrency community, and the miners won’t be disturbed in any way.

So, this is really a good change that we are seeing, although I did hear that even at a time they decided to ban bitcoin, they couldn’t ban miners in that location, rather they made it difficult for them to sell the coins they have mined.
2974  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: April 28, 2021, 04:55:43 PM
Okay, how sure are they about all that? Maybe the pandemic has been really bad and has caused a lot of things to happen and also pushed the US economy to a point where it’s low at this point, because they didn’t take a quick action to stop contain it before it became a wild fire.

As for China, we all know how it all happened, the whole world were pissed with them for not giving out information and the way they were able to contain it easily made the world to feel like they were the mastermind behind it all lol. Anyway, the future is one thing that no man can tell, we can only assume that something is going to happen based on what we are seeing at the moment, but things can still change at any moment.
2975  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 28, 2021, 03:42:10 PM
Its use as a mean of payment is prohibited because they think it is inappropriate and violate applicable regulation, this has hindered the adoption of crypto, especially bitcoin in these countries.
You mean people will adopt more when government regulating hits on are other ways bitcoin can be used? I guess that is not a big thing for people these days as we have lots of resources to check and innovate where we need bitcoin and how to make use of it efficiently.

I guess most people will get to know bitcoins when governments start talk about it; yeah that is kind of situation in my country at least. Where people are lagging with latest technology, government policies make people to know what are happening in technological world.
2976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ultimately long time holders are enjoying the real BEAUTY! on: April 28, 2021, 12:42:22 PM
traders who knows how to play with the market are capable of earning in a short period of time
while long term holders are waiting to maximize thier profits.

Both have good opportunities and if they managed to plan well the outcome is really good for both types of investors
nor traders.
The catch here must be, you need to be skilled for executing your trades profitable but for the case of long-term holding you just need some suggestion on what kind of coin needed to be invested and no other skill is practically required. Traders may seem like making good profits out of short period of time itself and holders are taking too much of time for making similar level of profits but there are higher chances for traders to lose at any time whereas holders are not having that kind of risk.

I agree both are good opportunities if we manage appropriately but required skills completely different and this is the reason holding is highly recommended for most of the people in crypto space.
2977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: April 28, 2021, 12:04:12 PM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX
Why your holding become useless? Where are you holding these tokens?

Recently Jibrel network was swapped for Slice (I guess I spell correctly). But, they sent Slice tokens to all Jibrel holders. So, nothing effected me negatively due to their swap.

In the past I have encountered similar swap for Peculium into different contract address. They also sent new tokens for my addy.

If you are holding those tokens in your desktop or mobile addy then check for new tokens. Or you may refer for procedures to obtain new tokens.
2978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoin be the next flashpoint In the cryptocurrency world? on: April 28, 2021, 08:54:00 AM
Standard Protocol is an innovative stablecoin project that I have seen recently.
Let's discuss with anyone who is also concerned about stablecoin.
What kind of innovation that you have observed with standard protocol? I am continuously seeing many of this forum members lately started shilling for standard protocol but unfortunately I could not find time to do my due diligence on this yet.

I am not seeing any possible innovation for a stablecoin but most devs are forgetting how a stablecoin should be. It needs to be having proper reserve back up; it means it should be easily liquidated at any time on demand. This way I am seeing tether is already performing well and I am not seeing it is heavily fluctuating hence I guess there cannot be any more innovation on stablecoin sector possible.
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: April 28, 2021, 08:00:28 AM
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?
This depends on the level of understanding of a person.  If a person doesn't understand cryptocurrency, he won't be investing in it no matter what is his age.  I belong to middle-aged people and most of my peers are too but we are deep into cryptocurrency and I have met people younger than us who is very hesitant to involve themselves on the cryptocurrency industry.
Even it is up to individual's preference and selective nature, I guess what OP is missing is bitcoins. They must have tried for bitcoin to be adopted by their parent rather than trying for altcoins. If you are a middle age man and coming across latest  technology based things then probably you might got chances to know about bitcoins rather than ethereum or BNB.

So, if we try for bitcoin to be adopted by our friends or parents or relatives then we can be successful at higher probability. If we trey for unknown coin then we may not be successful as per my expereinces.
2980  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin price? on: April 27, 2021, 10:38:52 AM
you need to know how really good way when try investing in bitcoin or altcoin, never panic moment when bitcoin get bad news just the best chance to buy back again.
That must be a practical suggestion and that was proven once again with recent market correction and its recovery. I was reading lots of people on this community continuously keep suggesting about making use of those correction and as per their speculation market solidly bounced back toward $55k levels and I guess a new ATH is down under.

Moreover, we never need to worry on what is happening with the bitcoin market because it is happening for some reasons and only for the people who are realizing those reason out of their experiences simply making use of those corrections.
