2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Monero's GUI is out, what will people complain about next? on: December 27, 2016, 09:39:31 PM
The size of the chain is not really much of a problem now i think.
But if adoption was scaled up it would be.
We know this because of Bitcoin's chain.
So i think what users are saying is that there is a problem.. eventually.
And Monero is destined to repeat the problem BTC faces.. centralization etc.
In other words Monero had or "has" the opportunity to find a better way to handle the matter.
But it is not.

If Monero gets as big as BTC one day it will end up suffering from the size issues BTC faces.
So it's silly that this failure is repeating itself all over again.
Shouldn't we be learning from the mistakes Bitcoin made with an Altcoin ?
Isn't that the point here ?

Kind of a worthy point to bring up when shills flog it chanting it's "superior"  Cheesy
2962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can XMR be more private than BTC if XMR will have an huge blockchain? on: December 27, 2016, 09:32:46 PM
Oh come on now.. be honest.
The usage of Monero does not even vaguely compete with Bitcoin.
It's improved lately ?
Well that is squat and it has a long looooooong way to go before we can entertain that silly idea.

Problems can be solved.
They won't be unless we are honest about the issues we face.
2963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Survey] What would it take ? on: December 27, 2016, 09:27:36 PM
Bitcoin has no realistic competition at all. If you look at the evolution of the BTC dominance over altcoins metric, you will see that the average is always a strong 80%, you can use coinmarketcap to see it, click on "BTC dominance" at the top right side of the page.

Thing is, no other coin comes close in development, and of course in network effect which is like 50% of the strenght of a currency or an asset, and that is going to take a ton of luck for someone to strike with some idea that makes bitcoin irrelevant. I don't see it happening. A lot of people talking shit, but no one backing it up. Bitcoin remains king.

Agreed and to LanYu i say BTC.. for obvious reasons.
Why ? Regulations.
If BTC got govt approval and regulations it would be the death warrant for the others.
EXACTLY like how FIAT is approved and regulated.
You say it would take a NAZI regime to push it.
Well they had one currency right ? LOL
Although they did counterfeit a LOT of British pounds.. used a little.
Most of it was recovered from a deep lake bed many years later.
But spies used it occasionally in foreign countries.
Anyway LOL

It's up to the majority who is in control what happens.
I wish i had good solutions to make things better but i don't.
So i am stuck pointing out the problem.
Hence the topic asking you all what you think.
Believe it or not i highly value everyone's opinion on the internet.

Would be ETH a good investement or the price will go low dramatically?

You clicked on this topic title then said it's cheap because it's tanking.
So.. yeah you think that is a good investment ?

2966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: December 27, 2016, 08:54:22 AM
I didn't lose anything on Cryptsy.
Just trying to make sure we remember who the victims are here.
This is about them not his ex wife who could filibuster the proceedings "dragging it out".

Saying she could waste the money is not a defense for her walking away with the money.
Had it been fought out harder maybe it would have meant another 50k went to victims.
And maybe that would have meant another few hundred guys get there money back.

Her needs are not my concern.
Since it's said she probably had an idea things were sour way earlier..
Then she had plenty of time to go and get a JOB at McDonalds to pay for her kids food.

The fact Vern cheated on her is irreverent.
YES it sucks.. i've been there and i have felt the betrayal.
But it has no bearing on the financial matters here.

Don't get me wrong here people.. my "outrage" is orchestrated.
You think i really care about the greedy fools who knew better gambling with shitcoins on Cryptsy ?
Or the corrupt assholes running it ?
I don't care about any of them.. i was smart, i got out way ahead of time.
But if i have to take sides i will take the side of the victims.
And i will ham it up for their benefit and possible amusement.

The Lori "FUD" is for you Cryptsy victims Wink
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merry Christmas on: December 27, 2016, 08:37:09 AM
Hello everyone,

X-Mas and Happy new year to you.
We are waiting for another new year. it's only 4 days remaining.
generally, I has invested to some projects and I was lucky to get a big result for my life.
and Now I 'm very happy with my works.
What did you do for your life in the year of 2016?

Lots of porn and masturbation..
I pound it until it bleeds ..I beat it like it owes me money !
For i am a pervert and fornicator. (i hope to do it more often in 2017)

I also joined the Church of Scientology and started worshiping Lord Zeenu.

I also invested in some ponzi schemes and made lots of money victimizing others.

2016 was a great year.. i recorded a video of a guy having sex with a large trout.
(there was no bass-to-mouth)
Proof can be found at www.2friends1fish.com (NSFW)

I also awarded myself the title "King of the Internet" and claimed ownership of it.
(in 2017 i may start taxing users to use my web)

In 2016 i guess i accused theymos of being behind the Cryptsy thefts in the Altcoin section.
REF = [POLL] Did theymos steal Cryptsy's coins ?

In September i ate a lot of barbecue meat then had the largest poo of my life and uploaded a picture of it to a site called www.ratemypoo.com (NSFW) where i took top honors.

In 2016 i led the rankings at Bitcointalk.org for "Most FUD"
(i will be a shoe in for the Crypto Hall Of Fame)

Hey you asked.. Grin  Cool
2968  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Please spread this message to the spoiled-brat Millennials on: December 27, 2016, 08:21:45 AM
This is great. You can't force people to work like cattle. You can't force them to be happy.

But again this is hypothetical socialism. The modern form of socialism is already implemented worldwide.

The government takes larger income tax from high earners and lesser from low earners.

In my personal opinion no taxes should be over 25%.

Exactly, socialism is idiotic in theory and even stupider in practice. Just because you and your friend both agree to take my Bitcoin, it does not make it morally acceptable. It's still theft.

Hope you don't like street lights, garbage pickups or Police / Ambulance or Fires services..
Or security from being invaded by another country.
What will you do when a massive forest fire breaks out ?
Well apparently that 1 test by a class of lazy brats proves you would all do nothing and be burned alive.

The framework of society exists for a reason.
Does it need tweaking ? Sure.. German Free University education ? Canadian Free Health Care ?

What we end up talking about is lawless anarchy vs rules.
Society decided on rules for a reason.

If there was no law against littering then everyone would do it according to Shelby's class example right ?
Well who would clean it up then ? You ? The guy chanting TAX is Theft ?
I doubt it.. you would leave it on the street and say "it's not my job"
There by leaving the streets a filthy mess.

Native's on reserves in Canada have their own land and tax exemptions.
But they use our lumber to build their house to sit on our furniture and watch our TV and use our internet and eat our food and use our electricity..
When they jump into the truck "we" made they enjoy our roads which are plowed.. and paved.

It's easy to chant we don't need you.. when in reality you do.

I have no problem with greed or profit etc .. but not corruption etc.
I agree those that work harder should get more.

Just like i said lots on the web.. i am, a fucking big shot assholes.
I am known all over in every damn corner of the web.. because i been there.. all along.
WORKING my god damn ass off !
In the last two decades i have invested mind blowing amounts of time LEARNING things
..by getting off my ass and doing the work.
There for i earned ever damn little bit of cocky smug attitude i have.
I do know a lot ..not saying i am the best at everything though LOL

Kids these days have a sense of entitlement that is silly.
I see what the OP here was driving at with that and i DO agree with him.
But you guys are going all over the place here with the topic hahahha
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can XMR be more private than BTC if XMR will have an huge blockchain? on: December 27, 2016, 07:53:46 AM
An interesting Monero criticism brought up a few times before over the years.

Lets say BTC has been out for 8 years at 72 gigs.
Then lets say Monero has 2 years at 8 gigs.
Lets multiply Monero.. Same time period would then be 32 gigs roughly.

So what is the difference ? ADOPTION  Cheesy
Monero has none and Bitcoin has LOTS.

So imagine the user base as equal..

And that is the underlying point here people are playing games about.
If the Monero guys hope to achieve BTC levels of adoption and far greater then ?
THAT is when there is an issue.
It's about creating something with known problems from the start as mentioned in the quote here earlier.

I think it's moot point though because Monero is not going anywhere.
It peaked and is destined to toil and wallow in obscurity forever.
2970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merry Christmas on: December 27, 2016, 07:30:35 AM
Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all members.
I have a happy christmas with my family and my friends, and you?

I am mostly left alone how i like it Smiley
I also am eating another Turkey dinner.. although i feel guilty considering all the conflict in the country  Grin
But i got a mountain of Turkey still to eat and my health and a roof over my head.. guess i shouldn't complain.

XMAS = TURKEY GENOCIDE

What did they do to us to deserve such heinous treatment ?

And those poor vegetables ?
Fuck 'em !
God damn the rabbits, let them wear glasses.. free our brother the carrot !

But yeah.. me too.
If it wasn't for Altcoins i wouldn't be here either (Litecoin is to blame for my FUD guys)

So for 2017 i wish you all crazy sick mad ROI'z !

New Years resolutions anyone ?
2971  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 92 feared dead as Russian plane with military band crashes en route to Syria on: December 27, 2016, 05:11:30 AM
It had Army Musicians and some reporters on board.
Rescue teams said they found the crash site in the ocean on the first press release.
It was a plane crash.. they happen.
But this is making news because of the conspiracy angle which is ripe for the taking.

I feel sorry for he families of all the people lost.
This is a tragedy no matter where they are from.
2972  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trumpocalypse? on: December 27, 2016, 05:08:00 AM
I don't know what you expect from Trump but he never promised to restrict the ownership of guns. Moreover, he promised to increase spending on the army and to stimulate the growth of the defense industry. You probably weren't listening.

Yeah he just announced that he was expanding the US military nuclear arsenal.
Where as Obama was working is ass off to reduce it.

The man is a brilliant visionary !

We know this because of his never ending tag line.. "Trust me we will get it done"
When a politician says that ALL THE TIME yup.. it's time to scream TAKE MY MONEY NOW !
2973  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MARS one on 2025 on: December 27, 2016, 04:56:35 AM
I am highly skeptical this can all be done in a realistic time frame.

Hell we don't even know if humans can survive on Mars for any length of time.
I mean the whole effect on the human body stuff.

The logistics of it is also staggering.
What always comes to mind when i think of this concept is.. meteors.

I seen a science show the other day where an astronomer caught on camera a massive cloud of maybe water or something shooting off like 150 miles off the surface of the planet.
No one has any clue what it could have been.. except for a comet impact.
I can't put into words how fucking big the mess was it was simply fucking nuts !

And what i always think of is Mars is a target hit more often i think then we are here. (because of it's location)
Worse is that it has fuck all for an atmosphere.

Chelyabinsk meteor = Imagine 29 nuke's going off.
THEN imagine NOT having an atmosphere !

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelyabinsk_meteor

Quote
The bulk of the object's energy was absorbed by the atmosphere, with a total kinetic energy before atmospheric impact equivalent to approximately 500 kilotons of TNT (about 1.8 PJ), about 29 times the energy released from the atomic bomb detonated at Hiroshima.

Then think of all those shooting stars and constant meteor showers we get.
Check out Spaceweather.com to see which meteor shower we are hit with right now..
We are ALWAYS flying into one all year round pretty much.

THEN think of all those shooting stars we see.. i heard they are suppose to be like a grain of sand usually.

THEN.. think of no atmosphere !
Each grain of sand would be a high speed cannon blast that rips through anything on the surface of Mars.

Meteors can be shot into us on Earth at 72 km/s.
Not sure what the average max is on Mars would be ..maybe higher.
A sample of a speeding bullet is about 4500 km/h
Take not the difference between hours and SECONDS.

Earth average max meteor speed = 259,200 km/h
Earth's Average max bullet speed =    4,500 km/h

Meaning ?
What ever type of habitat or support is laid out on Mars it is going to be highly vulnerable.
Such as an inflated green house that would explode if a grain of sand was shot through it.
Wind storms ? Yup.. Mars is known for them and tornado's.

Sorry i just think the reality here is colonizing Mars is going to be far harder and more expensive than people thought.

Wrap your head around this little fun fact.
It costs something like $10,000.00 usd to put 1 single pound into orbit of Earth.
Then factor in that you would need to send 3 or more people to Mars all requiring food for the trip.
If all three eat 1 pound of food per day and it takes them say a year to get there..
AND they will have to take another period of time to make a green house and grow food.
Then do the math  Cheesy
What is needed would also be more costly because the food stored would need to be "pushed" to Mars.
Not just Earth's orbit.
And yup it's going to cost a lot more to send 1 pound of something to Mars than it is to float in close orbit here.

It's a bloody miracle we made it to the moon.
Only reason the US did it was because they were given a blank check and infinite man power.
NASA people said if they had to do it today it would be impossible because of the cost.
The first couple Moon missions cost a staggering amount of money and required hundreds of thousands of workers.
That was ALL paid for by taxing the public to foot the bill.

Yup.. i'm skeptical  Cheesy

2975  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: December 27, 2016, 04:26:49 AM
The Lawyers are winning.

AND.. Lorie Nettles (BigVern's ex-wife)

I STILL find it offensive she decided it was acceptable to receive $250,000.00 from the house sale.

I think the sensible thing to do would have been to forfeit say $200,000.00 of it and keep $50,000.00.
Then tell the lawyers to divide the 200k up for the Cryptsy users who were ripped off.

She claimed she had mouths to feed etc.
Well, so did the users of Cryptsy who are out of THEIR money.

Whether she knew it was wrong "back then" or not is not the point..
She knew AFTER the fact.

What i see is a pitiful excuses from people behind a scam making excuses for their plush life style.
Paid for by honest users of the service called Cryptsy.

I don't see how she can justify the quarter million dollars in cash.
The trail of victims that have been strung along now for years on end with out their money.. wait.
As she saunters off a rich women with a cash prize.

Where i'm from if i won the lottery like she did receiving a quarter million dollars in cash
I would make it on the local news papers and online news web sites where i live.
For Lorie ?
It's just another day in the life of a women playing dumb about what her husband was doing illegally.

She has kids ?
Well guess what ?

The users of Cryptsy have kids and it would have been nice to have presents and a turkey dinner for Christmas for them.
Sorry there is no way in fucking hell i will be doling out sympathy of the rich spoiled fraud princess.

And if her kids read this.
I am sorry you are wrapped up in any kind of drama.
It's nothing personal with any of you.
I have to lay the facts on the table and say ok what do we have here ?
2976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Mandatory Altcoin Info on: December 27, 2016, 04:11:40 AM
Subjective opinion doesn't make FACTS.

That's a fact.

The concept here is people should have some knowledge about the inner workings and history of currencies.
That is in fact ..a "Fact"  Grin

That is like saying you should know about rockets to be a rocket scientist.

Sure there is a bit of what you refer to as subjective material in that movie.
But it is based on facts of real life events.

The movie is about the financial system collapsing because of worthless "derivatives" being traded.
..just like Crypto Coins.
The parallel between the two scenarios is disturbing.
Biggest difference is there is no Greenspan imposing regulations late and handing out Bernanke's bail-out packages in crypto.

Sadly history does repeat.

Greedy stock market guys pushed it to the end for every last cent.
EXACTLY like you are all doing here in Crypto.
2977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] LEOcoin MLM Ponzi Fraud Investigation on: December 27, 2016, 04:03:55 AM
Hope you all actually read the quote because it's a pretty serious situation.
It may be setting a precedent too..

I was rather surprised to say the least hearing about this.
This is no FUD people.. this is a slew of banks accounts seized by authorities and a major investigation.
And the keywords i put in the title were taken straight from the authorities mouth word for word.

It's about time people in Crypto realize they are not bullet proof and immune to law.

I went digging for the scam topic to mention the super shill's last comment he posted here.
How he said the official site mentioned it paid the premined money to "Investors"
Which would be the people at Seminars buying into the Ponzi by paying expensive seminar fee's and DVD's etc.
That admission he posted earlier was a major revelation !

It also says a bunch of stuff on the ANN topic about the premined money.
It said 50 million was premined for the foundation but later down the ANN topic it says the foundation "holds"
only 10 million with no mention of where the rest of the 40 million went to.

We also seen on the other shill topic new users defending it all saying the guys behind the foundation and Dan the guy credited for starting the coin as "not connected" to LEO coin.
See the picture above ? An obvious bold face lie.

This really is a giant swirling vortex of scam backed by old school multi level marketing scammers with deep pockets.
And THIS is who you guys are supporting with half the scammy coins around here.
Supporting a shitcoin to make a few bucks profit make these guys a TON of money.
And once they get a taste do you all think they are going to leave ?

Anyway i wonder what will happen with LEOcoin now.. i am too lazy to look at CoinmarketCAP  Cheesy
I bet it's tanking as we speak..
2978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Monero's GUI is out, what will people complain about next? on: December 27, 2016, 03:52:07 AM
They could have spent a long amount of time and effort pushing ANON tech for Bitcoin.
They could have been working on Code that would integrate with it.. we seen & heard of none ever.

Now the truth comes out. Spoetnik is bitter because she is a Bitcoin maximalist and possibly bag holder!!  Cheesy

I have said recently i keep giving away my Bitcoin to open source dev's.. such as on XDA forums.
For one thing it helps them get involved in Crypto and puts the coin to better use because i see nothing worth trading on exchanges for profits.

"Bitcoin maximalist" ?

Silly BS.
I simply look at how things are and there is a reason BTC is almost a thousand fucking dollars
..and everything else chump change.

I go into the BTC sections here once or twice a year and really couldn't care less.
So there is no proof to back up your allegations against me.
I am in fact just as motivated to FUD BTC in any aspect as i would any other coin.

Your response here simply comes across as an off-topic diversion.
You made 0 effort to address anything i said.
All you did was level accusations at me personally ignoring my comment.

If you have something to say on the topic or in response me etc then by all means.

Oh and i find it pretty funny me and Shelby both thought of Monopoly when thinking of the name.
I had no idea.. don't recall seeing him say that before.
So it's a coincidence we both said the same thing ?

See how i responded to the topic title ?
See how that works ?
Too bad they dropped the NOOBY Jail forum section here years ago..
LanYu would still be stuck in there unable to post here spewing bullshit to "Legends"

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has initiated an inquiry against UNAICO Pakistan Pvt Ltd on a report by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regarding the alleged suspicious transactions (STR) in the accounts of the company.
Initial verification of relevant record has revealed that the company, registered with the SECP, was allegedly involved in the illegal business of MLM (multi-level marketing) by enticing the general public for investments.
The company was running a ponzy scheme.
Earlier, the SECP had issued a public warning through the national dailies requesting the general public to refrain from investing in UNAICO or involving in any transaction with the same.
The warning had clearly notified the general public that the company’s business was illegal and not authorised by the SECP. NAB Rawalpindi has started a full-fledged inquiry and in the initial phase has frozen all bank accounts of the company and its director, Atif Kamran.
There are three bank accounts in the name of the company and relevant banks have been advised not to entertain any transaction in the said accounts till further orders. The NAB has placed Kamran’s name on the ECL. NAB Rawalpindi is in the process of contacting all members/investors of the company to approach.
The NAB Rawalpindi has to verify their claims and record their statements for legal action against M/s UNICO Pakistan Limited RPPs Case. NAB is in the process of reconciliation based on the available material collected/recorded during examination of the accused persons alleged in the case and hoped to finalise its inquiry within a week. During the process, NAB may call the accused persons already heard for further grilling if need be. The bureau has received commitments from various RPPs to return the defrauded amount in the days to come.
