If you ask me he can collect it in the middle of the season.

Ha, not gonna do that. Most wouldn't pay if they got off to a less than great start.

i need a moderator , is someone here ?

Threads are not normally deleted unless there's a good reason to. You can lock it at the bottom left but it probably wont be removed or other's posts edited.
2968  Other / Meta / Re: My account is locked Admins not responding... on: July 28, 2017, 12:49:05 PM
All you can do is wait. Are you sure the message verified correctly? Post it here and if it verifies and you still have access to the account I can remove the ban (but not reset passwords).
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £360 - £20 buy-in on: July 28, 2017, 10:51:49 AM
This has already been addressed:

Buy in at August 1 is fine by me too but what about if it happens a split, a hard fork which is a massive disruption to the bitcoin network. I think it is better if you start accepting Buy ins at 29 July so we are all risk free from possible disruptions of the network. I don't believe any split will happen but just to be sure.

I can make it later in the week once the dust has settled or maybe Monday the 7th so that gives us the week to collect in money.
2970  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: July 28, 2017, 09:26:44 AM
so i've turned off signatures and ignore people more frequently now.. ya, account farming is a problem.

i wish bitcointalk had a subforum or subsection of boards that required either a payment or a stake.  though i doubt that will ever happen.  Sad

I have suggested something like this before. Either as a perk included in more donator ranks, or a board where signatures and possibly posts do not count towards post count and activity. Sig spammers and account farmers would likely then leave it alone unless they actually had something worthwhile and constructive to say.

I do be very happy to join  this game, at least am sure it wi be done fairly and it will soon start just about 2-3 weeks from now. I think the prize pool should be increased to about 400-500 .

Are you in? You'll take the pot to 400 if so.
2972  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: July 26, 2017, 09:00:22 AM
We are thinking of adding a bonus for the "best" poster every week, how would you like to see this implemented?
Perhaps this could be done via voting for nominated posts of your choosing... ie. while auditing posts for content/quality (or maybe campaign participants could also nominate others that they see making quality posts?)... Pick the top 3-5 posts that you think are of good quality (regardless of rank/post count etc) and put up a post with links to the posts and run a vote for a couple of days?

You'd likely want to make it a self moderated thread to help keep it tidy... and you'd probably want to make it so that only campaign participants can vote to prevent "cheating" by spamming votes using alts? Or make it so only Sr. Members and up could vote?

ps. thanks for accepting me Wink

I'm not a big fan of that method given that it adds extra work on each participant while only benefiting one. Unless someone has a better idea, it will probably be chosen by either ChipMixer or me.

More asking about the bonus. I was thinking either a bonus percentage, or a fixed bonus. Thoughts?

Note: We may not add it - we are only considering it at this time.

Maybe look at the people who make the most posts and then the quality of them. I think a lot of people on this campaign will likely just make the maximum posts of 50 or so a week then stop but those who make many more should be considered for the bonus providing their posts are of great quality also.

2977  Other / Meta / Re: Donating to bitcoin talk, ummm what? on: July 22, 2017, 06:53:41 AM
Isn't there some sort of private section for donors, where they can chat unmolested by shitposters?   That sure would be nice, but it's not worth even 1BTC.  To me, anyway.

Lol. It's pretty much dead though. I've suggested more donator ranks and access to another hidden board as a perk. I think it could be a good idea to remove signatures and maybe post count in there so it would be a safeheaven from sig spam and shitposting farmers.
2978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawing from Coinbase to UK bank account? on: July 21, 2017, 06:23:27 PM
I've ordered a card from wirex and will give that a go but I've since read a lot of users having problems with it. Hopefully coinbase will be fine once I'm verified but I'll see how much the fees are to recieve euros etc cos it might not be worth it in the end.
2979  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawing from Coinbase to UK bank account? on: July 21, 2017, 04:33:55 PM
Well I hope I've been able to help in some way. I've just tried to pass on the info I've found out. It's a bit of a minefeild. Do you have any balance in your euro wallet. Maybe that's why it won't let you.

Just the 10 euro I sent in to 'validate' my bank account. Maybe I just need to wait. It says it'll be verified 1-2 days after so maybe it means 1-2 days after they received the payment (which was this morning).
2980  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawing from Coinbase to UK bank account? on: July 21, 2017, 02:54:19 PM
I'm not quite sure how you do the actual transfer. As I've not done a transfer yet. But I found that information on coinbase by clicking on the withdraw button in the coinbase gbp wallet.then a window popped up with the message and I copied and pasted the message here for you. .  From what I understood you need to send the gbp wallet balance to the euro wallet balance. Then click the withdraw button in the euro wallet. Then make the transfer from there. I know it can be done. Just not sure how. If you can't figure it then in same circumstances I would buy some bitcoin with your gbp and send it to another exchange. One that allows you to cash out in euros or gbp. Hope that helps.

It just takes me to the payment methods page, but it's not letting my withdraw even though I've already verified the sepa account with a deposit from it. I opened a support request but not sure how helpful they'll be or when they'll respond.
