Anyone know how to do this as I can't see any option to withdraw funds currently. Just a 'Request' and 'send' button which don't seem to be relevant. I set up a SEPA transfer a day or two ago to verify my bank account so maybe that hasn't been verified yet as I think it can take a few days. Anyone know where the withdraw feature is?

I'm just using the Android app at the moment so can't check desktop site but there's no funds in my euro wallet just gbp.

From what I understand you have to covert it from gbp to euro. You can only withdraw from euro wallet not gbp wallet I know I'm new here. But it's something I've looked into as I'm also from uk.

You have to send it as euro to your bank. Then it will be converted back to gbp

I have copied and pasted the information I read down below. From coinbase
Important Notice Regarding GBP Withdrawals
Due to bank servicing changes, we can no longer process GBP-denominated wire withdrawals from your account. As a result, we can no longer accept GBP deposits. Effective November 20, users with preexisting GBP balances on Coinbase may withdraw their funds via EUR SEPA transfers. We will process these withdrawals by converting your funds to EUR, then wiring EUR via SEPA to your GBP denominated account. Please carefully review further information about this process and applicable fees below.
Effective November 20, 2015, when you withdraw GBP from Coinbase we will perform a conversion to EUR and then wire you EUR via SEPA. A 0.1% plus €0.15 EUR fee will apply to all GBP withdrawals to cover bank foreign exchange and transfer fees. After submitting your GBP withdrawal order, we will show you the equivalent amount of EUR, based on the exchange rate Coinbase obtains directly from its bank, that we will wire to you, net of applicable fees. You may cancel the withdrawal at this time if you wish. Your bank may charge an additional fee to convert your funds back into your native currency. Please confirm the amount of this fee with your bank. Alternatively, your GBP balance can also be used to buy bitcoin. You can buy bitcoin with your balance here.
We are are working hard to restore native USD and GBP withdrawals as soon as possible. In the meantime, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Support can be contacted here.

You have to send it as euro to your bank. Then it will be converted back to gbp
How do I do that? I got an email notification to say my bank transfer has gone through which I needed to do to validate my bank account but when I try withdraw it says I need to set up a sepa withdrawal but that was what I sent the money there for in the first place. Not sure why they didn't tell me the info about not being able to process UK withdrawals in the first place because I wouldn't have even brothered signing up. Such a ballache. |

They can process uk withdrawals. But in euro and not in gbp the money needs to be in your euro wallet. Then click withdraw. In the euro wallet.

It just takes me to the payment methods page, but it's not letting my withdraw even though I've already verified the sepa account with a deposit from it. I opened a support request but not sure how helpful they'll be or when they'll respond. |

I think it will take a day or two at least to verify your bank, it is a real pain because they don't tell you this when you sign up, only when you go to withdraw do you discover this. You will then need to wait a few days once you have made the withdrawl for it to hit your bank. Depending on how much you are talking about and how often you will be doing this a quicker method could possibly be one of the debit cards like Spectrocoin etc. |

I've ordered a card from wirex and will give that a go but I've since read a lot of users having problems with it. Hopefully coinbase will be fine once I'm verified but I'll see how much the fees are to recieve euros etc cos it might not be worth it in the end.

I think most of the card providers have had some negative feedback at some point, it's not an ideal solution but until we can do a straight GBP withdraw we'll just have to manage. Good luck.

Still nothing yet. Cost me nearly £10 in bank fees to send the sepa transfer so I hope it works because I'm not going to send another one in the off chance that it will work that time. Does anyone know if Coinbase have an official thread or account on here? Contacted support but think I'll be waiting a while. I'll give them both a go and weigh up how much the fees are for each (assuming I can actually get Coinbase sorted). Would prefer direct bank transfer though. |

The last time I sent them a support ticket, it took them 6 days to respond. Then the support rep completely ignored my issues and sent me some boilerplate responses. This was about a month ago. Granted, there is still likely a large influx of new users right now, but this level of support is really quite disappointing given that they are highly regulated and generally held in such high regard. The best way to get their attention is to create a thread on Reddit and hope it gets some attention... they tend to respond to that quickly. |

Why don't you want to use kraken? Coinbase sucks when it's time to deposits/withdraw money from it. Sell this afternoon on Kraken, request a bank transfer, and tomorrow you will have your bank account credited. Good to start the day  Edit: sorry Kraken doesn't have GBP (blame brexit ) |
