I thought you could convert them back at 0.95€ per Chimgauer or something like that. If you can't convert them back they're not backed by anything. From wikipedia... Businesses: accept 100 Chiemgauer at face value and spend them
yup, businesses can, consumers can't. that's just to artificially boost the network effect a little i guess.

I live close to the Chiemgauer region, afaik they don't allow changing Chiemgauers back to EUR, at least not officially (black market maybe, but we Germans are nice and follow the rules ).

An Introduction to Objectivist-C Let me introduce you to the best language you’ve never heard of: Objectivist-C. Although academic computer scientists have generally dismissed Objectivist-C, it has a zealous following among self-taught programmers and college sophomores. [...] In Objectivist-C, software engineers have eliminated the need for object-oriented principles like Dependency Inversion, Acyclic Dependencies, and Stable Dependencies. Instead, they strictly adhere to one simple principle: No Dependencies. In Objectivist-C, there are not only properties, but also property rights. Consequently, all properties are @private; there is no @public property. In Objectivist-C, each program is free to acquire as many resources as it can, without interference from the operating system. In Objectivist-C, there are no exceptions. [...] ---from http://fdiv.net/2012/04/01/objectivist-c

The dramatic fall of Goldcoin: No end in sight
...
Proponents of the noble metal claim that there is no fault with the metal itself. In principle, they're right, each of these robberies seem to have been simple theft operations.
...
While GoldCoin proponents fight hard against any critique of the economic viability of the metal, some more serious technological challenges are slowly emerging that may not bode well for GoldCoin's long-term survival.
Recently, an article was published in a newspaper, showing a 'tungsten adulteration' attack that could be achieved using GoldCoin.

he first must deposit Euros, thus he first must click "Add funds" in the "Euro" section, not in the "Bitcoin" section, that was his misunderstanding it seems.
There he will find the bank details, and the reference code which he will have to put into the comment field of his bank's credit transfer form.

Bitcoin happens to be extremely convenient for webstripping etc.
o rly https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80126.0 apart from the usual misconceptions, it turns out that these girls are dependent on the major "providers" of "infrastructure" for the fame and traffic they need. They quite laughed at one of those bitcam site someone made. The established larger cam sites are who's needed to start accepting Bitcoin, but I've always been suspecting that such services are deeply rooted in the establishment.
